24h volume  Shocked

1   Bitcoin            $5 288 330 000
2   Bitcoin Cash     $5 235 670 000

That is really impressive.
Bitcoin Cash has been gaining momentum. It is very possible that it will be a decent rival of bitcoin.

Not rival! BCH is Bitcoin! BTC is SegWit fake and not Bitcoin! This is not a "regular" momentum. There is a flippening which is about to happen! BCH will become "Bitcoin" and "BTC" will die! Whatever amount of BCH you buy below $1000 is very good.

The prediction, 1 Bitcoin will be about $500.000. It means this must move very high and very fast!

Remember, BTC is not Bitcoin. Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is Bitcoin. BCH is the one which will be $500.000!

See, this is exactly the damage that is being caused.

People begin to talk like they've been hardcore-brainwashed. Not funny at all.

BTC is Bitcoin.  BCH is a parasite altcoin brazenly feeding of the Bitcoin brand.

All you have to do, is educate yourself and actually READ the whitepaper of Bitcoin... Electronic Peer-to-peer Cash. Not "SegWit" 2 3 4 layered with middle men in it! Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is Bitcoin. Not because of my words, but because of the whitepaper!

In satoshi's early posts on bitcointalk he said himself that a 2nd layer solution would be needed in the future

The whitepaper is not a bible don't treat it like one

Come sunday/monday when the network goes live depending on timezone with current value BTG will be a instant top 5 coin

i really, really hope it doesn't. that's gonna make the entire crypto space look like an even sillier place than it does already.

KNow what the BTG fees will be? if they want it to be like gold its probably spot plus 30 bucks.

Fees will be cheaper than BCH is value is lower the blocks wont be full and they have said that they will increase block sizes if its needed

This is competing in the GPU space and this is a huge space overall much larger than in the ASIC space

Just going on the current BTC count of 16,674,512 x $214.85 (current futures price) = $3,582,518,903

Current #5 is LTC at $3,216,776,019 so this would take the #5 spot and knock LTC down to #6

Now this is close and when mainnet goes live there will be some dumping so this may change but as mainnet gets closer the price is increasing

what happened? it's crazy! especially most of other altcoins are dropping, BCH and BTG are so strong!

BTG , Bitcoin Gold is a bad joke.
They have not even released a wallet yet.

The full wallet/node will be released as soon as mainnet goes live you can also generate a key pair now from https://btgwallet.online/

does this fork of 13 November mean that if I have 1 BCC I would get 1 "NEwBBC" on my wallet?

If this is correct, will the exchanges allow you to have this "NEwBCC"?

Its more of a fix to the EDA. Not aware of any miners not in support.

It will be interesting to see how the new DAA will work out because at the time of the fork BCH should be hugely unprofitable so will require dropping a lot to become profitable again

Since there are only a few miners the chances of a split is very tiny unless any wanna go rogue there will continue to be just the 1 BCH

Finally, it will be officially launched for miners. Testnet ended. Good luck, everyone. I am out simply because I dont have any ASIC.

You don't need a ASIC this is equihash strictly GPU mining only

What GPU AMD miner do you recommend?

nVidia is better for equihash but if you already have AMD cards like me then claymore or optiminer are good choices I have mostly RX480s and these seem to prefer claymore bit I also have some R9 280x and these seem to prefer optiminer but that is just in my configuration
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 10, 2017, 10:41:43 PM
BTG
So i can basically use my gpu (normal single gpu) for this
lets hope that is correct and the time for solving the algo doesnt take long

Yes you can use any single GPU providing it is powerful enough

So basicly it means some GPU's like for current mining. Nvidia 1060,1070,1080 etc... Of course Radeon RX but these will be worst efficient wise.

Yes the current crop of GPUs currently in use I know nvidia likes equihash  but im not sure how they compare efficiency wise although they are supposed to be lower power consumption per hash

All I have are AMD cards mainly RX480s 8GB and a couple of 4GB variants

I find it interesting that yesterday it started pumping the day I had to withdrawal everything from Bitfinex.

What you may be experiencing is Roger Ver selling off the rest of his Bitcoin for Bitcoin cash now he has decided to go all in

how many tokens in total are you issuing?

Same as bitcoin 21 million in total
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 10, 2017, 08:55:29 PM
bitcoin gold has active blockchain? where do you find the statistics? Is mining already in progress? I see only great confusion here Sad

No active blockchain yet it starts on the 12th
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Gold : Make Bitcoin Decentralized Again on: November 10, 2017, 07:52:24 PM
So it looks nvidia gpus will be in favour again. Of course depending on profitability, but my guess is BTG will be hiting top1 list for some time....

I find both nvida and amd work well for equihash but Nvidia does have the efficiency edge on this one

BCH community needs to learn a hard lesson. Be friend with other competing coins, learn from them, and make BCH better. Don't play hatred, don't wish competing coins ill. Just wish and try to make BCH better.

Jihan is talking sense for once everyone needs to work together

is this coin minable with standard equihash algorith or different parameters?

Just standard equihash use any zcash miner software
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling - Cheaper fees on: November 10, 2017, 05:58:27 PM
Guys I am sitting on much BTC, should I change all into BCCH or will BTC still survive.

All 3 forks (BTC, BCH, BTG) will survive and all 3 have different goals and use cases if you want to be safe spread out your funds

lol bitcoin gold is not active and will not be active. you can be sure it is only a premine dump in 2 days.
believe in my words. bitcoin and bitcoin gold are only the two ones.

Mainnet launches on Sunday and trust me there is a lot of support from the GPU miners

Jihan seems to be loosing it though he's going round telling cash supporters on twitter to stop pulling bitcoin down and to stop referring to BitCash as bitcoin they are different and will live together

No, please stop this. Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin Cash. We should not confuse it with Bitcoin.

Stick to reality, my dear brother. Bitcoin has upgraded with SegWit. Bitcoin is supported by Bitcoin fans, and Bitcoin Cash is supported by Bitcoin Cash fans. They are different
