Perhaps this is off-topic, but I do need to buy 2 BTC to send to yxt tomorrow and only have money in my PayPal account. Using VirWoX or transferring the money to my Bank account would be more or less 2 working days.

Does anyone know or already used this site? http://paypal-bitcoin.com/how-to-buy/

I don't know if this site is a scam, I can't find any good or bad comments about it on the web.

I could also buy from a member that would be willing to accept PayPal, but I do know the risks involved, for the seller. For my defense, I only have my eBay profile (user ct1aic) with 603 stars & 100% positive feedback as buyer and also being eBay/PayPal member since 1999.

I rest my case.

UPDATE:

Forget that link...

Hi Rui,

We are postponing the service because of PayPal terms of service.

Sorry!

Greetings.

Perhaps 1,880 MHash/s and not 1,880kh/s, am I right?

Good luck with the selling.

748  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Downclocking Memclock BAMT+CGMiner on: May 17, 2013, 10:29:06 PM
...
Overclocking the core works pretty fine but now i want to downclock the memcore.
My problem is: I am not able to go lower than 1050Mhz with CGMiner...
When i try to go to 1000Mhz with cgminer.conf the memcore is set back to 1250Mhz (standard memclock).
So im pretty much not able to go lower than 1050Mhz..which is too high in my opinion.
---

Greetings.

I have same problem, with my new Asus Radeon HD 7870 1GHz edition. With 50MINER software (DiabloMiner) running in a Windows 7 64 bits, I can go down to 1050 MHz, but if I try to lower more, it goes to 1200 MHz. again.

How many MHash/s can you do with both cards? With my desktop with AMD Athlon x2 4800+ @ 2513 MHz, I get 451 MHash/s with GPU @ 1200 MHz, Memory @ 1050 MHz & VDDC @ 1.1219 Volts (GPU temp=73ºC).

Happy week-end.

753  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How many ASIC miners are in operation? on: May 16, 2013, 08:41:08 AM
For the first time even the mining pool I use, btcmine.com had what appears to be a ASIC mining running as one user on the top mining board got over 60,000MH/s.

So anyone got a guess how many ASIC devices are out there right now in operation? If you do try and show some working out of how you got to you conclusion Smiley

Butterfly Labs are probably using several ASIC devices...  Shocked

Gosh.... the newbies filter should be alot more strict .

This is what we get letting them noobs, going wild .... posting garbage shit everywhere.

And those with higher post counts really have some quality content to their contributions, eh?

Well said!
759  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Feel like defending BFL now? on: May 13, 2013, 11:43:44 PM
For those of you who don't understand.
Butterfly labs is located at that location.
The giant red bar signifies that they're pulling some
serious hashrate via their ASCIs. They're driving difficulty up
while profiting and while creating the demand for their machines.

They do need to get 1000 BTC...
