741  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Bullet - Twitter Games (Play and win free bitcoin) [NEW GAME ADDED] on: May 09, 2019, 09:40:42 AM

742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: May 09, 2019, 09:07:22 AM
Bitcoin does not have a central authority that control it activities and that is one of the advantage and also the disadvantage of decentralization, unlike the faint paper money where the bank can make refound back to the sender in the case of wrong sending or frauds where the found still remains in the receiver account and it part of the double spending mechanism. But bitcoin don't have this feature and before a blockchain development that will carter for this will be in place it will take a long time from now, may be when bitcoin get regulated that can happen but until then bitcoin transactions is just base on p2p no middle man.
743  Economy / Exchanges / Re: scam exchange on: May 09, 2019, 08:12:51 AM
Enjoys the ignorance of users. Although the cryptocurrency is anonymous, but for exchanges it is necessary to conduct kyc. Then, conducting exchanges, we would know to whom we give our money and from whom it could be received.
The kyc you mentioned is it in the part of the exchange or the users who trade on the exchange, if you talking about the exchange take example from ICO there so many ICO team who conducted kyc but yet ended up as scam and running away with investors found the same thing can happen with scam exchange. In my own opinion any exchange that published fake volume is on the path of becoming scam some day only waiting for the right time.
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes hodlers make on: May 09, 2019, 08:08:07 AM
You only lose when you sale you assets so hodlers don't lose just by holding and if the market go bearish all you need is to hodle a little longer for the market to recover again, its only traders that cash out little profits but hodler have a time stamp to the assets once that time is not reached they may never see any reason to sell no matter the profits at the moment.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hack and The Rollback on: May 09, 2019, 07:19:03 AM
--snip--
My question is this: Can't this transaction be followed and given a close monitor? Until it gets a point where they would want to discharge as in convert to fiat or spending, and authorities get to freeze the account? do you also think there is a future plan to arresting this hugly situation to ensure greater confidence in the future? Thanks a lot.

Yes and No.
Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous. IF the hackers just keep on funding their own wallets on the bitcoin network, it's defenately possible to keep tracking untill they deposit funds on an exchange or a P2P marketplace and arrest them when they exchange their stolen funds for fiat.

HOWEVER... There are countless "tricks" that can be used to break the connection between 2 wallets. If you combine a couple of these tricks it becomes virtually impossible to keep tracking.

For example:
  • The use of mixers
  • Coinjoin
  • Depositing and withdrawing from casino's
  • Exchanging BTC to a privacy coin (like monero), moving the funds around a bit, then exchaning back
Tracking the transactions is only possible if the hackers move the found to another wallet either in bits or whole, but once the employed other techniques then it impossible cause there are so many ways to move the stollen bitcoin under the Capet without tracing. The hackers are not fools to send the money to an exchange where they can easily be court tether they will use other features just as you have mention.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Gaming and It's Future on: May 08, 2019, 08:31:52 PM
I really enjoyed ether kingdom back then when we were still new to game and playing against other players make it more fun the blockchain gaming in this present time is highly developing with various sites coming at interval I believe blockchain base gambling and gaming will increase in numbers and in user base because the world is gradually moving towards blockchain base activities.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance was hacked=> Everyone should be wary of your wallet and trade on Binance on: May 08, 2019, 08:01:05 PM
How it will increase the price of binance it will decrease the price even it may go worst . I had faith on this exchange now it is also lost . I think now kucoin and I box will be the best crypto exchanges. Concentrate on those tokens.
I don't think this attack will have any direct negative effect on binance coin because the $7000  that was stolen in not in binance coin but in bitcoin and since the exchange have a reserves that found such accidents it will not have much Borden on the exchange.
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Income from crypto trading. on: May 08, 2019, 06:22:56 PM
The entire cryptocurrency space have to do with patents and not taking hasty decisions, am very optimistic that the future of cryptocurrency is bright and at that both trading and holding needs lot of skills and patents because if you have good trading skills you can still make profits at any period and no matter the conditions of the market because you will know how to fine your way and make good trading decisions.

750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for scammers, yea right! on: May 08, 2019, 05:59:49 PM
As every process associated to cryptocurrency happens through internet connectivity and are interconnected scammers find it easy to trap the users. In recent days around the world there is more number of scams got promoted with the name of bitcoin. More users have suffered it and has lost big. With this people term bitcoin is for scammers which is truly not the right thing.
Yes one can not deny that fact that there have been great number of scams in recent time and all through the use of bitcoin but even at that it not that scamming activities is not taken place in the traditional financial system e.g the bank. But bitcoin is seen as evil due to it nature as it exist only on the internet.
751  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoinpenguin.com on: May 08, 2019, 05:41:57 PM

752  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 08, 2019, 05:33:58 PM
The whole bitcointalk forum have been filled with this news of binance hack and like I said before this is an unfortunate accident because even CZ himself stated that the hackers have displayed some weakness in the security system which will be worked on. As big as binance being hacked at this period is such a big lost 7000 bitcoin is such a huge amount.
753  Economy / Gambling / Re: We are developing a new crypto game, where to announce? on: May 08, 2019, 05:14:48 PM
Yes the ops should move the thread to games and round because that is the first place any new game get announced and after being developed and the platform set for operations you can now move it back to this section for players to give they feedback.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can be a contact with Bitcoin trader ? on: May 08, 2019, 05:12:20 PM
Identity detail in what form because bitcoin is to be anonymous and at that the only details should be the confirmation of it transaction on the blockchain, bitcoin if given an i identity will end up being manipulated because the big holders will try to control the market such as government agencies. The only contact bitcoin should have with the trader is just to use it as a mode of payment.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Alternatives to Directbet? on: May 08, 2019, 04:40:55 PM
To all LTC "hodlers".

If you are into entertainment and gaming, EOSBet is the one-stop casino now accepting EOS, BTC, and LTC bets.

EOSBet prides itself by being the first fully licensed provably fair decentralized online casino giving away the dividends for each placed bet. You can now earn dividends in all three digital assets (BTC, EOS, LTC).

Our main thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5103576.0

Why bumping into another person thread to advertise you sites it absolutely wrong to even see that you have your own thread ongoing already, I advise you delete this post or move it as an update on you personal thread. Directbet admin may also delete this post.
756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats happend to india and the world on: May 08, 2019, 04:33:44 PM
Despite the fact that the government of India made some policy as it affect bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrencies it evidence that the chunk of the billionaire and the money bags will still consider using cryptocurrency rather then the traditional faint currency because cryptocurrency offer them the total financial freedom.
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: lives or dies? Part 1 on: May 08, 2019, 04:19:16 PM
Cryptocurrency haven been around for just 10 years of still at it development stage and at that is band to fall any time but it can never die and that is why it said that the bitcoin market is highly volatile if you have been following the market since it inception you will know that after each phase the market must correct it self.
758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos on: May 08, 2019, 03:39:34 PM
I agreed with the list but don't you think it time to update the list because there are other gambling site's that are into bitcoin gambling such as bustadice and stake this are other gambling site's that are offering bitcoin as a deposits and placing of bet and game's. We need a new poll since those on the list are gradually moving to extinction.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: May 08, 2019, 03:36:11 PM
I believe bitcoin will replace the faint paper and traditional financial system in the future and its a fact but when that will be is unknown since bitcoin need development and adoption by the general public but for now bitcoin is the secondary currency of the people because it offer's more freedom from third party involvement.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 08, 2019, 03:03:20 PM
I normally advice any newbies to invest when it convenient for them I buy bitcoin whenever I have the capital not minding the price at that time, but if you think because the bitcoin market is on the rise and you think it right to invest you may get it wrong because bitcoin price can move in whichever direction at any time because we dealing with a volatile asset. But it advisable to buy when the price is low.
