741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold(BTG) to the moon...... on: November 23, 2017, 08:22:51 PM
i dont like BTG
but this market is blind shit will go after their stories, when there are better projects like VTC that already decentralized and working well
BTG in my opinion is clean money desire , the market did not need BTG
I understand your point of view, and it's true. The crypto market now is full of BIG Whales that just pump and dump from one crypto to another. It's like they don't carry about whether the market needs such a coin or not. Also they are good coins out there that are decentralised and working well, but the whales don't seem to care.

What is a scam? Do you mean dash is a shit coin?

Yes that is exactly what mean.

Enter dash in the search box on this sub forum and enjoy the wealth of abundant evidence demonstrating in black and white how the scumbags captive instamined 500 dash blocks every few seconds whilst proclaiming fair launch.

Proven scam invest in PIVx far better.

what is a scam?
Dash?
why?
Thanks his answer
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 23, 2017, 08:14:58 PM
It's possible but I wouldn't bet on it. There are a lot of manipulators who change the price daily. Even if it goes up to 1k that wouldn't be much profitable, only %30 around. You can find better coins that will get higher returns in 5 weeks.

If you don't mind to share; Which coins for example do you think will give higher returns in 5 weeks?
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 23, 2017, 08:09:10 PM
From the look of hype, yes it seems so. I wouldn't buy from $600 just because it could go to $1000 though. It's a high risk at this level. I prefer to stay away and watch out from far away. I don't like to gamble, I wouldn't buy anything from ATH price levels.
But BTC always has a new ATH, even ETH breaks its ATH and now has a new ATH. At what price are you willing to buy DASH? Do you want it to fall back to $100 before you buy in?
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 23, 2017, 08:04:37 PM
I think it's impossible
since for DASH it's a very big race

Why do you think its impossible? Take a look at the charts. I think it is very very possible. The question is how soon will this happen?
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 23, 2017, 08:02:30 PM
Dash is one of the only other older coins that can follow btc, do not have hope for the majority of others.

In short my opinion is that Dash is a very good buy.
"Dash is one of the only other older coins that can follow btc" What about ETH? ETH has a large market cap.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Bitcoin Gold(BTG) to the moon...... on: November 23, 2017, 07:58:12 PM
At some point soon the whales with very large BTG holdings are going to start pumping this. Probably waiting for some of the initial developer “shit storm” to pass so there’s a stronger story to tell.

Educate me if am wrong. What do you think is the future of BTG?
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dash hit $1000 by January? on: November 22, 2017, 02:49:05 PM
I don't think Dash will reach $1000 in 2018 maybe Dash need more time to reached the threshold $1000 most likely 2019

Come on, just take a look at the charts and you will understand what i mean. The price has doubled compared to 3 mounts ago. By 2019 its price should be far more that $1k

Many people couldn't care less if something is a scam or not, as long as they can make money in the short term.  The only question is does anyone have confidence Dash will hit that figure before something fall apart...
Bingo.  And I would say, scam or not, the market is saying loud & clear that it's going to continue to rise.  I actually like Dash, though I'm aware of the stain of its birth--and that doesn't bother me in the least.  Having said that, I don't own any.  But like a lot of other coins, the network fees are much lower than bitcoin and confirmation times are much faster.  What's not to like (other than the instamine)?  Frankly I'd rather spend Dash than bitcoin.

As to the OP's question, I do think there's a potential for it to reach $1000 but I'm not so sure January is going to be the month.  Far stranger things have happened in this crazy land of crypto, tho.

Even though BTC fees are high and transactions are slow it doesn't bother me as a long term investor. Because i hold BTC on the long term, I don't trade with it daily. I think we should use BTC as a store of value and alts for daily transactions. There is a lot of pressure on the bitcoin blockchain.

Talking about high transaction fees i see people that want to make small transactions like $50 and still prefer to use BTC. Then they go ahead complaining of high fees knowing very well that we have a bunch of alt coins out there far way cheaper. People should use alt coins for small transactions.

A good example is that, a lot of freelances now a days want to get paid in BTC. I just can't understand why a freelancer will want to get paid $50 in BTC for maybe writing an article or something else. Why does everyone wanna get paid for doing a small task  in BTC??

Just my opinion though:)

Its good to invest on any projects that have team pics display...

If an ICO project have team pics display as you say, is not a guaranty that it's a good. You need to do a lot of research these days since they are a lot of ICOs out there.

There were many cryptocurrencies before Bitcoin.

Therefore Bitcoin is an altcoin - and will also be beaten by another altcoin, just as it did itself.

The author said "The first known (to me) attempt at cryptocurrencies occurred in the Netherlands, in the late 1980s" in the first paragraph. Emphasis on the word a'ttempt', this means that before bitcoin there had been attempts to make digital cash. When we look back at history there have been attempts do to a lot of inventions, which all failed. Since bitcoin has become successful with mass adoption, it deserves the credit of been a pioneer.

Also lets not forget that cryptocurrency comes with amazing technology not just putting money on phone cards that people used to trade when they had no money, nobody heard of debit cards and other prepaid gift cards.
Very well said and this was i supposed to say too which there are really some attempts in the past about digital cash but all of them failed and also come to think off that those plans of digital cash are centralized not decentralized. This is why bitcoin is somehow specially compared into those coins if they are successfully created. For now we cant really remove the title that bitcoin is the father of all cryptocurrency and all coins who are after it would really be always considered as altcoins.

That's why we have two types of cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin and Altcoins. It's like saying 1 leader and the rest. Also this is healthy for this evolving crypto market.

758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CARTAXI is a SCAM. Please don't invest in it again. on: November 03, 2017, 02:26:45 PM
Guys, first of all, looking at the amount they raised that's selling a little over 60,000 CTX sold compared to their hard cap on the white paper (500,000,000 CTX) that mean they managed to raised only 12% of their hard cap. To me that's a complete failure which of course does not surprise me at all. I can feel the pain of all bounty participants. I personally invest in ICOs (of course after doing an in dept research). I know others may be here just to do bounties and get quick money. But just a piece of advice for you; Always ask yourself this question before joining any bounty "IS THIS AN ICO THAT I CAN CONFIDENTLY INVEST $10,000 OF MY OWN? " and don't just join a bounty program because of an attractive looking title.

Most people on this forum just want to do a couple of bounties hoping to make them rich. Why am i saying this? It's because if investors are not convinced enough that a project is worth investing (tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars) in, then why should you participant in the bounty campaign and expert to make a lot of money.

Honestly speaking i see a lot of bounty programs in this forum which i will NEVER EVER in my life participate in. But i know a lot of people here are just bounty hunters and do not even take time to investigate a project, they just jump from one bounty to another hoping to make them rich.

They are two main type of people in this forum. The investor, who is here to make good research and the Bounty hunter who is here to make easy money.

This should be a big lesson for others. I know there are still a lot of ICO's in this forum that will not even raise up to 20% of their hard cap.

If you didn't get paid in tokens for you job or invested and didn't receive you token, then you can provide proof and evidence that they are scam. No project deserves to be called a SCAM just because bounty participants complain of getting less money.

To all bounty hunters ask yourself, what if after all your hard work for an ICO the raise only $100,000 or less than 10% of hard cap, do you expect them to give out all amount raised in tokens?
