My wallet is still stuck downloading the same block 14982. Brand new address. New NAV holder  It's been like this for 4 hrs. Followed the instructions to a tee (so I believe...lol). Placed the blockchain in the folder. 26 connections. Downloaded a bunch, then stopped. I'm at a loss  C- PS> I even tried 'repair wallet'. It says it's fine... I installed wallet, deleted all instead wallet.dat , unpacked the blockchein data. I thin the client has been synced in 5 minutes. I would suggest to try it again should work Just did it again and it's stopping at the same block... Did you copy all contents of the download blockchain into the appdata folder? Mine stopped too until i downloaded the block chain...I had to download the blockchain. Yeah. Re-downloaded the blockchain and client. followed the directions. It starts downloading and hits the 141982 block and craps out. Did you add the nodes above? PS: Bittrex has been compensated , they will open markets shortly.The supernodes are in the summercoinv2.conf file we made from the info listed in this thread, right? I copied and pasted the info from this thread into a txt file, and changed the extension. I had 26 connections at one point, if that means anything. It started downloading and stopped after about 1min.....at block 141982 It's odd that it stops at the same block every time...even with a fresh install. Try connecting directly to a node and see if it downloads, first clear the %APPDATA%SummerCoinV2 leave only your wallet.dat there. Make a backup of the folder before this. open a command prompt and drag and drop your client there. then type this

Before hand download the windows blockchain from here https://www.dropbox.com/s/sge9wu6nkuma78t/BlockChain.zipand extract and place the files on %APPDATA%SummerCoinV2 Should sync. |

We will be waiting for the network to stabilize before anything , I haven't slept for the last three days and I will take a short break, exchanges will resume operations within the day , Bittrex and Bter will be compensated shortly and balances replaced.
NavajoCoin is the only coin that was brought back after a double spend attack without needing to go with a new coin and a swap and while all the same exchanges fully compensated.

During the update, we have generated 2.6 million coins to compensate for 937k NAVs lost by bittrex and 1643685 NAVs lost by Bter due to double spend attacks that we believe were done by the same person as they were performed during the same time. We will send each exchange their lost coins and get withdrawals and deposits running. We have reduced first year POS to 15% to compensate for this inflationary increase; sort of taxing the new stakers. We have identified a major security loophol in our first POS settings. The unlimited MAX age allowed for a limit towards infinity of coin age accumulation and thus increased ability to perform an attack with a much les significant amount of coin. We have changed that to 1 day. We have also changed MIN pos age to 2 hours. We also need you to take coins out of exchanges and start helping the network by staking. Those who do not stake are now penalised by the inflationary model of POS where as to before unlimited stake age meant that you would not have lost anything as long as you one day staked. Now if you do not stake for a day, you lose the respective percent of value per year. Steps to reincorporate into the Navajo network:Backup your wallet.dat before performing any action 1. Download the new windows wallet linked below or use the updated github to compile if using linux 2. No go Soop! I even tried this time without my wallet.dat file as well, let it create it's own. I had this get past similar issue before so I thought I would try that, but man bro........I have spent hella time trying to get this to work man and nothing I do is getting my wallet to fully sync.
With the zipped version of the BC, it seems worse..........nothing downloads, shows 2 active connections immediately on start up but shows out of sync at top and after a few minutes loses all connections entirely going offline.
Definitely something strange going here!

Guys put some hash back to the network , it should have sync up the network and lock it down. The difficulty is quite low so lot's room to get a few coins on the process , fire up your gpu , cpu or whatever miners lol! ~SoopY~ |

Soopy........that is what several us did and wound up missing coins or having more than we should!
The blockchain has been rolled back abit mate , so this is why you might notice a few lost coins , however it cannot go more but a bit less , only stake generated for a several 100 blocks will be lost , the foundation will come up with a solution with regards to this. ~SoopY~ PS: I'm looking into the errors. |
