You are the whale! I told people not to buy at the ATH! And the price dropped; since you are attacking me, you are responsibile for the manipulation

I'm a whale but I accumulate. I don't sell except for volatility trading with very small amounts.

Look how many cloakers moved in on XST and tore that thread up. You guys hate Bob. But seriously, the lot of you should get a grip and stop trolling so hard.

Learn your lesson and move on. We've all lost money at some point in this game.

[edit]

Here you can have a good laugh: I invested in the CRAIG ICO. Feel better?
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: September 29, 2014, 06:02:50 PM
A pump group is manipulating it right now. I have insider information. They will dump soon, so do not buy or else you will get burned. Have you heard of Bob?

Do not buy at the top. You will lose. See all the small buys? They are artificially driving it up.

Told you. Look at the price drop

 FUCK THE WHALES

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=637704.msg8755435#msg8755435

Get ready for the butthurt cloak fanboys to move in here kids. It's all part of the process.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Hello !  Guys I have a problem. I was mining SSD coin in POW phase but couldnt transfer coins to my wallet or exchange and now there is no info about SSD pools where we where mining. And I have a question: is there any chance to find that pool and get back my SSD coins? I'll be really grateful for answer.

That's between you and the pool. Do you have a bookmark? Maybe some of us can put pressure on the pool operator to get your coins back to you.

I agree with you, but BTCwriter sees the ssd dev as a traitor by exit the xst dev team to create its own currency using the same source code.
Although not agreeing, I respect his opinion.
But the weak hands who dropped their coins after this, are stupid because there is not any reason for it. Just the personal cause from BTCwriter against Argakiig.
XST will be in mintpal V2 in the coming days and today will have new wallets and a new anon feature.

It's easy to see what happened. BTCwriter dumped his coins and whales have put up sell walls to get in cheaply. With a new secret anon feature coming out, the price should be going up from speculative buying. And that is what happens. But whales speculatively buy smartly and average traders dump coins dumbly.

Even BTCwriter wasn't smart about dumping coins. The floor was solid, he could have sold off his holdings at closer to 10k in the accumulation zone.

Is it just me? I think the collaborative relationship with the SSD developer is a huge bonus - it show's Hondo's character, usually when someone moves on to develop another coin it causes major friction and distraction, in our case the opposite has happened two major minds are continuing a collaborative effort on brand new technology.

Having zero drama on the development side allows all these new features to be implemented smoothly. In addition the SSD developer is also providing support and wants to see XST succeed.

It's better. Most coins hate each other. We all know the world is a better place when we work together.

But I own tons of both so its all good to me either way.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 29, 2014, 01:24:19 AM
argakiig was part of the XST devteam, but at one point decided to leave the team and create his own currency, the sonic.
Seems to me that they still do some things together

Argakiig has his own coin, Sonic. He was on the XST dev team but decided to make his own coin. He was never on the Arcoin team, just a temporary hired hand to make a block explorer. To my knowledge he does not communicate with the Arcoin developer any more. Like me, he works on his coin without any external compensation, so when a job comes around he takes it so he can eat, feed his family, and buy things he needs.

Argakiig and I collaborate all the time. We develop code together and we have ideas together. Each coin is a test bed for different technologies that will go into the other at some point. This is typically how altcoins progress anyway, except in our case it's not an adversarial relationship. For example, the StealthCoin team developed anonymous SMS transactions, and Sonic extended this idea to steganographic transactions.

For each coin, major technological innovations will not overlap until long after the markets have absorbed the impact of these innovations. But on minor points there will be overlap. Collaboration, rather than conflict, is the future direction of crypto-currencies. Given the history of conflict within these markets, it may be hard to accept a new paradigm of collaboration, but it's happening.

-- Hondo

It's sad to see and know this is happening. Once a scammer always a scammer. So when a job comes with another coin and they need this code he will then sell to feed his family. Instead of invest in one product and make it big he is just create the code and sell it. There will be many coins just like this to come. Sound like loljoe products to me at this point.

Get over yourself. XST has been like this since early on judging from the way the dev talks about things. All of a sudden you are unhappy about it. Arcoin may be a scam, but these devs are not.

Also, who said anything about selling code? There are lots of sites out there that offer block explorers and other services. Are they all scammers too?

Is the guy who sold Bernie Madoff is shoes also a scammer?

You have a twisted view of reality if you think people can't be in business.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: September 28, 2014, 10:04:34 PM
The big buy walls near 1900 are for accumulation.

I was tempted to take a lot of profits by dumping into them, but as soon as those orders fill then whoever has those walls up is going to start pumping.

So you guys dump first!
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XST] Stealth-Coin.com | Tor | StealthText, World's first anonymous SMS Tx! on: September 27, 2014, 07:41:58 PM
^ What a dumb hoe. My posts history strongly disagrees with what the fuck you are accusing me of, but anyway, i will let you make a fool out of yourself. Meanwhile, invent ways so you cam pump this garbage up, cause you need to flash dump and GTFO from this bad experience called Stealth. It's ruining you...

When you are a scammer, all the world is a scam, yourmother.

And the way you react here, it's obvious that you are iconic expert. But why do you continue to fud the coin you cloned?
749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - 1st TOR with functional anon send - Steganography based Anon App on: September 27, 2014, 12:36:19 AM
Yeah consistency is key here, and the problem with the re-branding is that nothing is consistent.

Who cares. Look at the coin. It sells itself. Buy now before the masses take notice.

I agree, and I am Smiley but following the coin on twitter would be much easier if everyone used the same tags lol

Oh. I'm with you on the tags. #Soniccoin

I like what this coin is doing! Currently holding since 6/800s! My suggestion though is implement something like reddcoins POSv. POSv in redd rewards users who keep their nodes up by implementing age decay. Age decay kicks in after 14 days so if your coins don't stake at least once every 14 days they will gain less age every day therefore making it beneficial to keep your node up!

Keep it up dev!
Instead of this I have already implemented coin age stopping at 15 so stake weight doesn't increase past that

This however gives a huge negative to long term cold wallet holders. Maybe just have 1/4 coin-age after 15 days?

You misunderstand. Once it stakes the coin age starts over. The idea is that you have to keep staking your coins. It helps network security and also is better for people who make an effort to keep their wallets open for every staking transaction.

I'm fairly new to the crypto world. Decided to move my coins off exchange to get in on the staking. Apologies if my questions are "noob-like"...

If my computer decides to pack in but I have backed up my coins on an encrypted USB, can I restore an old wallet? Is there a timeframe on this? Say I didn't back up for a few days / weeks? Can I still restore?

Thanks in advance!

G

You don't need an encrypted USB. Just make sure your wallet is encrypted. You do that under settings.

Choose a good passphrase or make it on your own computer. This is a javascript program that will do it for you: https://lastpass.com/generatepassword.php

[edit]

Either way, encrypt your wallet. If malware has access to your computer and the USB is mounted, it won't matter if it is encrypted. You have to encrypt the wallet.

Wallet Links v2.1.0.0:

Any nodes for the new version, 2.1.0.0?

I can't get it to sync.

It will sync. You have to wait for it to connect to the tor network. That can take a few minutes.

Guys can anyone tell me how much I could earn if I stake 140,000 SSD?

Each day: 76
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - First coin over TOR with functional anon send - 0% prem on: September 26, 2014, 02:31:25 PM
I have mentioned this a couple of times, I don't think people realise the implications of the app the dev has created, and an audit by someone like Dan meltcalf would deffinetly get this coin the recognition. It seems to be anything Dan touches turns to gold, and with the technology that argakiig is producing (by himself), the review would be more about the man than the product, as it would prove what argakiig is obviously capable of

There's no premine. Metcalf charges for reviews. The community might have to come up with funds for this. The stealth dev maybe would do it for free or a discount because these guys were part of the same group for a while.

First Automated SonicVortex transaction has completed
txid=987d303ac8a32982ae945957a9bf4cc1977b8dcf4b993fe2663ef9cea52d6848 if any of you are interested.

The Transaction was initiated with this picture.

How to Create your own SonicRelay for use with SonicCoin and Sonic Vortex following shortly

So let me get this straight. There's an encrypted transaction in that picture? And that transaction has txid 987d303ac8a32982ae945957a9bf4cc1977b8dcf4b993fe2663ef9cea52d6848.

So that's steganography. I ran stegdetect on it and it gave me a false positive for an ancient program called jphide that doesn't use f5. I ran it on another transaction with a different image and stegdetect didn't detect anything. So the best steganography detection software is completely undependable for sonic vortex because it gives false positives and false negatives for sonicvortex, but no true positives. My guess is that it could do better but transactions are very small compared to the image.

That's what I call hidden. This is truly ground braking. There is no way for anyone to guess that you are sending a transaction with this software. There is no exposed cipher text, no numbers or addresses, etc. And then, even if someone made a lucky guess that some information is in the picture, there is no way for them to know what it is, much less that it's some sort of transaction.

This is the coolest idea for crypto to come along in some time.

Why is the price not above 10k sats right now?
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SSD] Sonic - First coin over TOR with functional anon send - 0% prem on: September 25, 2014, 09:31:10 PM
I donīt know where this coin is heading right now. But does it matter? The price slowly moving down....

Everyone is pumping hype coins, complaining at the same time that only hype coins get pumped.

This coin has features but no hype. The same people who complain about hype in the hype coins come to the feature coins and make fun of the price.

Thanks for your feedback. Restarted already approx 20 times and then always got a few more blocks synchronized. But now I can't get it over 100499...

First try to delete your tor and onion directories and your peers.dat file in your 'Application Data/StealthCoin' directory and restart the wallet. It may take a while to pick up connections. See if it syncs from there.

If that doesn't work, stop your client again, remove the above mentioned files and folders again. Add this line to StealthCoin.conf

Code:
connect=7kpxbh5bebkfyxhw.onion:4437

See if it will sync from that node, which looks to be a good one connected to my client.

to be completely fair, the CCEX fiasco is whats accelerating the inevitable for SSD. But even without CCEX f***ups, SSD value was going downhill sub 1k sat regardless. No pump groups backing this up whatsoever. Bagholding investors arent about to pump this themselves lol.

The first mistake was naming this coin SONIC SCREW DRIVER.

lmao.  Cheesy

way to be taken seriously.  Tongue

You guys realize that I turned this ordinary day trader into the troll he was always meant to be.

He's a Surplusbob hater because he thinks Bob killed his favorite shitcoin, cloak. So he was spamming XST pretty hard at the time and made some ridiculous predictions about price (which he has now deleted). I called him out on it by PM and on the XST thread and he couldn't take the butthurting. So now he's a troll.

If you don't believe me, check his post history and you will see exactly where I drilled in on him.

Unfortunately trolls don't go away, they just get more pathetic.

I cannot figure how they can try blame the dev for when they weren't paying attention to their own wallets.

C-CEX has had this type of issue many times before. It is well documented.

People need to learn that if they lose money at C-CEX, it's their own fault.
