741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to know when an IPO is a scam? on: April 04, 2014, 05:25:46 PM
It seems even that with a trusted escrow, the general concensus is that any coin with a IPO and any percentage of premine is a pump- and-dump-profit-scam-run-away-to-hawaii-and-ride-in-my-laborghini. Im asking this as I would like to invest in some coins (not naming coins, unless relevent as I do not want a flame war between trolls and puppet accounts) by buying a stake in the IPO, but IDK which ones are legit, and which ones are scam.

Joshuar can you explain why is shit?

i Mean:

Its X11 Algo (not scrypt like 90% of other coins ), and how can you say something is shit without looking at our changes in source???

What changes in source?
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ULTIMATECOIN (ULT) BRAND NEW COIN on: April 04, 2014, 05:14:35 PM
There arn't any pictures or demonstrations of these large units. They are just taking preorders lol

You obviously haven't seen zeusminer's video of them hashing....
744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ULTIMATECOIN (ULT) BRAND NEW COIN on: April 04, 2014, 04:31:29 PM
No the scrypt asics are not fast enough.

10-20MH/S scrypt asic is just vapourware nonsense.

It doesn't matter, if it is a problem, I can just move the coin to another algo.

Just vaporware? Seriously? Gridseed miners are the closest physical ASICS, but they will come out!
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much longer do you think Bitcoin will last? on: April 04, 2014, 04:28:15 PM
Bitcoin will last another 5-8 years. It will fade away like many stuffs in internet.

i doubt it will fade, there is so much money in it and with a market cap it already has, with so much support I doubt it will "fade"
746  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: April 04, 2014, 04:26:50 PM
I see the prices are updated again :O
I guess it is  same as last night..!

the last time I checked (a while back Cheesy) it was 0.0006 for Full Members and less for Hero&Senior members Cheesy

You are correct, he did lower just full member. But is higher paying than prime dice, so he still technically higher paying.

Evolve = hard fork? what's the difference. Not trying to troll, how does source change with out a hardfork which also means getting all the merchants to change and such.

Evolve != hard fork as long as the majority of miners agree on it. The project is in beta and has been evolving from day one. What are you trying to say?

I was asking if there was a difference between Evolve and hard fork or can you just change the source code? Don't know much of programming so yeah....
748  Economy / Lending / Re: Seeking investors: Guaranteed 3% return in 24 hours on: April 04, 2014, 03:53:46 PM
The negativity in this thread amazes me. I don't understand why everyone needs to be so negative. Arbitrage usually guarantees about a 1% return a day, all I do is just up that a little bit.

Anyways, I was busy yesterday. So I will handle all new requests and send the LTC out.

Because it sounds like a Ponzi. IF the first investors get there money back, I'll take a shot at it xD

750  Other / Off-topic / Re: Rap artists you listen to? on: April 04, 2014, 02:39:37 PM
Eminem's last album is okay but it nothing compared to the old ones.

I listen to MMLP2 regularly, but nothing compared to Stan xD
I like his less mainstream songs on the new album, but Im just in love with Eminem! Rap God, Survival, The Monster (lesser), Bad guy, A******, etc.
751  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you think Bitcoin will last? on: April 04, 2014, 02:37:55 PM
Probably 5-10 years, i'd imagine that BTC will get replaced by something better by than, idk what. Sorta of like how myspace was the first social media, but failed, then facebook became dominant. Then there were many strong competitors, such as twitter, Instagram, etc...
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: eBay Officially Adds New ‘Virtual Currency’ Category to US Site on: April 04, 2014, 02:34:10 PM
This will make selling bitcoins, hardware, etc.... much easier I imagine xD.
753  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will IRS revise there guidelines on "virtual currency"? on: April 04, 2014, 01:54:52 PM
I seriously doubt that IRS will, unless that petition gets signed. I doubt there are 100k based US miners that are aware of the petition sadly Tongue
754  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Will miners in USA be able to remain competitive due to huge tax burden? on: April 04, 2014, 01:53:40 PM
Buying and selling is easy to account for, but adding in a mining operation with reinvested revenues and the enjoyment, and profitability, get sucked out completely.

This is precisely the purpose of the ruling...the collecting of whatever revenue they get from people who attempt to comply is a bonus.  They simply want to kill it by discouraging people from having anything to do with it out of fear of not being able to comply.
The sad thing is that it might actually work.

This is just burdening BTC mainstream adoption, and the viability of using BTC as something for everyday transactions. I think that the rulings aren't a bother if they're used for big purchase.... What's the actual viability of IRS trying to enforce this?
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: These new EFFICIENT x11 algos everyone is talking about ?? BULLSHIT or real? on: April 04, 2014, 12:53:25 PM
Well you never know.... Consider half the energy costs, double the rigs xD? IDK probably are x11 ASICS... Do you think its possible to have a gpu mine each 1 algorithm of x11? Would that increase hash rate?
756  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What Types of Signature Deals Do YOU Want To See? on: April 04, 2014, 12:29:10 PM
Weekly, high rates, and no scam xD

High rates is what we need  Wink but unfortunately not many advertisers are willing to pay high rates when they could pay lower rates and get more people!

that's why I'm gonna test out Ritz xD

ASIC resistance, not asic proof. Its been a surprise there haven't been ASICs yet. Litecoin dev team has had there official response, I doubt that they were bribed not to change algo's.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: These new EFFICIENT x11 algos everyone is talking about ?? BULLSHIT or real? on: April 04, 2014, 11:38:28 AM
Quote from Rofo. That's not me.... Please quote correctly if you plan on doing stuff like this.
