Chelsea so far has performed not so badly as expected from them Grin and funny enough I actually place a bet on them to lose the game but so far it has been a draw until  the 82 and 87 minutes were they managed to convert two changes and now currently lead by three goals to one. A nice victory for them and at least they have finally broke the dead lock of so many streak of loses and frank lampard I feel will sleep tonight with his both eyes close after such miserable start for him.

I saw some Chelsea supporters jubilating today like they just won the champions league trophy, it's good for them most especially Frank Lampard finally getting his first win since the reunion. Sincerely I didn't expect this result but let's allow them jubilate today because they have been through so much lately trying to get back in their feet and get something out of the season.

I have no doubt that Mourinho is a very experienced coach. However, Roma's squad is not strong enough. If the Roma management had made a bigger fund and given Mourinho full freedom to build his squad with the players of his choice, the Roma team would have been stronger.
However, Roma's performance this season has been quite good. Their opponents in the Europa League semi-finals are Leverkusen. This team is in pretty good form right now. But their defense is weak. If Mourinho is able to identify Leverkusen's weaknesses and create a good match strategy, Roma should be able to win against Leverkusen.
It’s true Mourinho's records and performances are going down but it doesn't really count as his fault, I can't say Roma has a squad that is good enough to compete at all levels and against top teams in Europe. Against Bayern Leverkusen it will be really tough and because of the records and  name Xavi Alonso in the Europa league semi finals.

Sevilla are my favourite for the Europa League title as well. I think like this even in a season that Sevilla have had big difficulties in general. Because their recent performance has started to get more interesting. There is some good level of improvement as it can be clearly seen from their recent results. They don't lose games easily most of the time from now on.

I remember how good they played against Manchester United in the second leg as well. This must be a warning for Juventus to defend them well in their matchup. Juventus need to be more capable of scoring multiple goals in a game as well. If they perform similar to the one against Sporting then their job will be really difficult.
I guess Manchester United was all they needed to get back to winning ways and they got it on a platter of gold. It feels good finally seeing Sevilla picking up from their poor season and getting back to top form again because to defeat Juventus, this level of form will be needed if they are to survive the semi finals.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is closing in on the end of his current contract with Milan now. By the end of June he will be free agent. I wonder whether Milan still have plans for him in some way. Maybe as a player or he can be given a trainer or coach job in the team maybe. Because for example I think he can make a really good coach to train some new solid strikers for Milan.  Grin

Zlatan has been like a role model for most of the players in this team for a long time actually. They have seen him as their leader so far. Maybe he couldn't play in so many official matches this season but his leadership matters a lot for this team anyway. I think Milan should keep him by deciding what they can do for him from now on. He really loves Milan so I think he wouldn't say no to stay.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the definition of a true legend, even at 40 he is still playing top football and still scoring goals. It seems the end of a superb career is near and I will surely miss him so much when he finally decides to embrace retirement.

'Here we Go"

Reported from Fabrizio Romano, Brighton Albion success sign James Milner after becoming free agent player and his contract expiry with Liverpool, the 37 players old will get one year contract until June 2024 with Brighton Albion and usually have other optional with one year extended depend on Milner performance.

James Milner is the best recruit by Brighton although he has 37 years old, James Milner joined Liverpool since 2015 and he has spent almost 8 years and success get Primer League and Champion League trophies, but he has over ages and many compete player with his position make Jurgen Klopp not extended his contract again.

I think James Milner to Brighton is a good match for Brighton because Milner clearly fits into the club’s style of play and therefore have prospects to succeed at Brighton. I really can't wait for the transfer window to reopen I'm sure EPL clubs will be very busy and active in the market to recruit and strengthen their sides for the coming season.

Aston Villa owners appear to be very satisfied with Unay Emery's work and that's why they promised to Emery will give him fresh funds to bought the players what his want this summer and reported Dusan Vlahovic and Ferran Torres has into Emery radar and he will attempts to bought these players because Emery want to strengthen Aston Villa forward lines

If this is happened probably Aston Villa will do mega transfer because to gets these players they have to spend at least 100 millions and this is probably will being an the highest transfer for Aston Villa history and about Ferran Torres and Dusan Vlahovic i think Barcelona and Juventus will don't mind to release them because since moved from Fiorentina to Juventus Vlahovic cannot performing well as fans expected and for Ferran Torres too he was recently always spend his time at the bench and with selling him Barcelona can cut the player's salary burden
Emery is doing a good job for Aston Villa, since his arrival Aston Villa has moved up the league table from 16th to 7th position something they have not been able to achieve in long years. I never doubted Emery's capabilities even for a second because his reputation precedes him.

Messi in PSG is in the worst situation we could ever see and they don't respect him at all in France while he was a legend in Barcelona and even in the Argentina national team, I think Messi should leave PSG even after because the fans are very unhappy and even Naymer is in danger in France while he can return to Barcelona as a legend.

https://newsinfrance.com/reinforced-security-in-front-of-the-homes-of-neymar-messi-and-verratti/
It’s sad to see how the relationship between PSG and Messi is falling apart. It was meant to be a fairy tale story with a happy ending. It is now clear that Messi will be leaving PSG at the end if the season, but his destination still not certain. I am expecting Barcelona as the next destination according to speculations going round.

Barcelona are on a different level this season after struggling with the sanctions, restrictions and even losing some of their key players to lessen the weight of bearing huge wages. Xavi's employment has obviously turned things around for better, already they are in pole position to win the league trophy this season ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid who have failed to match their strength this season.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 05, 2023, 07:53:42 PM

Brighton deserved to win this match. They dominated the entire match. Brighton dominated possession throughout the match. But unfortunately Brighton played very well in the whole match but could not score any goal till 90+4 minutes of the game.  Both teams worked tirelessly for 90+4 minutes but neither team could capitalize on the opportunity. The match between Brighton and Man United had a 99% chance of a draw.  But in the dying stages of the game, Brighton got a penalty short. Brighton football team took advantage of that opportunity to win the match 1-0
Brighton will be satisfied with the result because they fought so hard and deserved that late winner in the game. Manchester United failed to take the chances created, it is disappointing that they had to concede a goal in the final minutes of the game. I'm sure after the end of the game last night, Manchester United would have appreciated a draw if they got one. The race for top four spot is heated up and Newcastle, Tottenham and Liverpool are all looking for a place in third and fourth champions league qualification spot, I just hope Manchester United can keep their position until the end of the season.
747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 05, 2023, 07:03:01 PM
Manchester City are the kings of the premier league, they have dominated against other clubs over the years even without Haaland, now that they have a goal machine like Erling Haaland present and breaking records in his first EPL season, it is very difficult for other teams to beat Manchester City, they are formidable and very letal against other teams in the premier league and if they succeed in winning the champions league, they will be more confident and dominate even more.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: May 05, 2023, 06:44:45 PM
I honestly do not think that he would be a good fit for Real Madrid. Maybe that is just me but Garnacho plays best at wing, and Real has some elite level wingers already and they do not need Garnacho at the moment. I think he is better suited to play at United for now and should be doing fine, and that should be his growing period. If he wants to be a great player then he could stay at United and be a great player there.

Moreover, United is rich enough to pay him whatever he deserves, there won't be any team that could pay more than United just because he deserves it, United can match it if they think he deserves it. However the question is that will he reach the potential he will get, many people think that he will be great but I think he still has a long way to go.
I don’t think Garnacho to Real Madrid deal will pull through, Manchester United value him a lot and will be reluctant to letting him leave because they project him as a good prospect for the future, his recent contract extension confirms it all that he is not for sale.

Maybe some people have heard about this rumour, Newcastle are reportedly interested in signing Raphinha from Barcelona in the summer transfer market. Of course it would be very profitable for barcelona if they were willing to let Raphinha go to Newcastle, it's just that it would be quite complicated because the player prefers to play for barcelona.

The fee offered by Newcastle is also not small, around 80 million euros, of course it can help with the financial problems that are currently being experienced by Barcelona. Maybe by selling Raphinha at least they will have sufficient reserves to solve some of the existing financial problems. In my opinion, Newcastle is also not a bad team because they have achieved top performance this season and are almost certain to qualify for the champions league zone next season.
Newcastle for Raphinha sounds good to me but some weeks ago I also read Arsenal are considering returning for Raphinha whom they lost to Barcelona. I am also curious as to why Barcelona want to sell him now after just a season, he has been impressive playing for Barcelona but for whatever reason 80 million euros is a whopping sum and I doubt Barcelona will be able to say no.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: May 05, 2023, 06:09:47 PM

Basically, Newcastle does have a very good chance of finishing in the top four, because at the start of the season or in the first half of this season, Newcastle played and were in a very good position in the standings. So naturally, in the end Newcastle returned to being strong in the top four, because at the same time Manchester United experienced a decline in performance.

Newcastle are a club determined for transformation to a different level and that has been seen in their performances and transfer dealings since the takeover, I think we will be seeing a transformation similar to that of Manchester City. Newcastle are moving in the same path and I must admit that this is good development, if they continue this way the next two years will definitely be a different Newcastle team.

After Manchester United lost Ronaldo this season and he could have a good performance there, they were seeking for a player to replace him as a forward.
Since Lautaro Martinez scored many goals for the team and he had a perfect performance in Inter Milan, Manchester United is trying to hire this player for next season. However since this player is important for Inter Milan, I'm sure Inter Milan will not lose him easily.

https://www.footballinsider247.com/sources-inter-milan-open-door-to-man-united-sealing-70m-lautaro-martinez-deal/
https://thepeoplesperson.com/2023/05/01/manchester-united-could-seal-lautaro-martinez-for-70million-from-inter-milan-263445/

Lautaro Martinez has been an important player in Inter Milan team, even with rumours of a possible exit he has remained focused in his game. Because of the level of contribution he adds to the team I doubt it will be easy for any club to sign him in the summer.

The coach who is familiarly called Big Sam was finally officially elected as Leeds United coach for the rest of the season. Leeds hopes, of course, that Sam Allardyce can take Leeds farther away from the relegation zone with 4 games remaining. We know that he is a veteran coach on the plains of England and has also coached several EPL teams, it's just that he always failed to bring good results to the teams he handled before. Maybe with the election of Sam Allardyce as Leeds coach, he can give the best results until next season.
Sam Allardyce is a known and experience coach who has been in managerial duty in the Premier league for quite a long time and his name is no new name to the ears, I trust him to make a difference before the end of the season and save Leeds United from getting relegated.

I am very optimistic that Real Madrid will beat down the price of Bellingham for the two clubs to reach an agreement definitely he would cost more than €100 million by this swift action Real Madrid had ward off Liverpool purported bid for Bellingham next summer, personally I prefer him to sign for Real Madrid where he will play alongside talented promising youngsters like Tchouameni, Camavinga, and Valverde who will form a formidable midfield after the retirement of Modric and Kross with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo at their attack, with age on their side Real Madrid will become the team to beat both in Laliga and UCL matches.
Jude Bellingham seems to be the big catch in this transfer window and because of his individual brilliance and talent many top teams are seeking his services which means there is likely to be a bidding war between these teams and if it comes to that, Real Madrid will be in top position to get the player's signature.

Messi was never a perfect fit for PSG, ever since he arrived he hasn't formed that connection with the team nor the fans and it was certain he was going to leave after they were eliminated by Bayern Munich in the RO16 of the CL. Reliable sources confirm that Messi had already told PSG he wasn't staying one month ago, but i expected him to act professional and see out his contract without problems with the club, thus i am surprised he went on an unauthorized trip to Saudi Arabia. I know Messi has been suspended for two weeks, but i don't think we'll ever see him in a PSG shirt again, even after the expiration of his suspension, as for where he'd go, there are many options, the MLS, Saudi Pro League, Barcelona, and i expect other offers to come in in the next months.
I can agree with you, I have always noticed the absence of that chemistry Messi had with Barcelona on the pitch, he has always looked like a hired mercenary instead of a team player, probably it had a noticable effect on his game. We shall see in the summer where his next destination will be, most people feel it is Barcelona others feel it is in Saudi.

Next week it's that time again and we're going to look at the semi-finals of the CL. The first game is Real Madrid - Manchester City and that is also the most exciting game in my opinion. 2 teams that like to play football and are known for their scoring ability. That said, I thought last year was a bit disappointing in terms of goals. In Manchester it only became 1-0 for Manchester City, and in Madrid it was 0-1 in favor of Manchester until the 90th minute. 3 minutes later it was 2-1, but still, still only 3 goals. I think we will see more goals tomorrow and probably more than 4 goals in 2 matches. Real Madrid are no longer in top form in the league, but in the CL they often have a different level and style of play than in the league. Not very strange either, because in the league they are favorites every game except when they play against Barcelona.
Manchester City are in a very good form now and are showing better possibilities of coming out victorious in this fixture against Real Madrid. I have a feeling that Manchester City will cause more problems for Real Madrid than they have done in past seasons because the presence of Haaland alone will be big trouble for Madrid's defense.
Contrary to what some believe, Real Madrid's current position in the league will not determine the outcome of the meeting with Manchester City, it didn't determine the result of the game against Chelsea so I see no reason why it will now. The outcome of the game will be based on team's performance on that match day and the better team will come out victorious.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: May 01, 2023, 08:28:17 PM
The momentum change is the most important thing about this series. Juventus has been a little bit bad in the league recently, had 3 loss in a row, and they looked not so great, whereas Sevilla looks like they started the season terribly but doing a lot better these days. I am hoping that they would do at least a bit fine, not a huge amount of greatness but at least fine.

This momentum change means that Sevilla may have become better than Juventus, if you asked me a month ago I would say Juventus is the better team but when I look at it today I think it is a bit obvious that Sevilla is getting ahead of them. This is why I believe that we shouldn't really bet on Juventus with %100 confidence, do bet on them if you want to, just not have %100 guaranteed trust in them right away.
It will be more difficult for Juventus to defeat Sevilla in the Europa league, a total different opponent than Sporting because Sevilla have a good record competing in the Europa league they also have a better record in the Europa league than Juventus and Sporting. Sevilla will have to give everything to survive Juventus. I still think Juventus have a stronger chance against Sevilla though.

Man City vs Fulham almost ended in a draw if Alvarez didn't score in the 36th minute. With a 2-1 win over Fulham making the top position of the EPL currently occupied by Man City again, Arsenal's hopes of winning the EPL this season seem to be failing again. Apart from that, Haaland continues to increase his goal collection and at this time he has successfully scored 34 goals, what an extraordinary achievement.
It was a interesting game between the pair today, I really loved how Fulham reacted to Haaland's penalty converted early into the game, I thought Fulham would win the game because of the determination they showed to get the goal but Manchester City always find a way to win even tough games and today they did it again by scoring and holding on to the lead until full time. Such performance takes away whatever little hopes of Arsenal still being in the title race.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 27, 2023, 10:01:48 PM
Manchester United is having a nice time tonight leading with 2 goals in the first half of the match is quite a good start for Manchester United and this match against Tottenham Hotspur is quite a good team that can not easily be defeated like this and its shows that luck is on Manchester City side tonight and if they're managed to add more goals in the second half of being able to defend their already 2 gaols will make their point difference on the table coming up against other competitors in this season.

Manchester United have really picked up in form in recent games, but then the season Is almost at its end and this could not make much difference.
A good time that didn't last shouldn't be counted as a good time, at the time I felt United were stealing away all three points until the game changed hands from a 2 goal lead to 2-2 draw in tbe second half. These are difficult times and to stay up in top four position they need to win games to stay up till the end of the season.

It's lucky that De Gea is in prime condition, and was able to save his goal many times. the superiority that pastes got by Manchester United in the first round. Sancho and Rashford secured points well. If you look at Tottenham's attack, which was built by Richarlison, it was good enough, but no one quickly greeted the ball, both Son and Harry Kane were always late. Several times the bait should have been a goal. Shaw, who was placed by Erik Ten Hag as a substitute option, while Martinez was very good at guarding attacks and always managed to cut off the opponent's bait.

On many occasions David De Gea has saved Manchester United from conceding many goals, it is no surprise to me seeing him perform so well and saving his team from the brilliance of Spur's attackers. For once I thought Manchester United's defense was stable again until they conceded two goals and finished the game in a draw, disappointing end result, I'm sure they would have preferred a win instead.
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 27, 2023, 07:57:03 PM

To be honest, Barcelona don't need Messi anymore, with Barcelona condition being quite stable in terms of play and having gone through a lot after Messi departure, it feels very hypocritical to return on the grounds that his contract with PSG has expired. Sounds ridiculous to leave when Barcelona is on a rock and come back as if everything was fine as before?

With the recent rumours and statements from the club president and some others linked to Barcelona and the player himself, Barcelona have made it very clear that they are interested in having Messi back at the club but to do that they will need to clear up some wage loads to contain the expenses of the deal. There is no certainty that Messi will agree to return to Barcelona, if he does return I believe he will suffer the same fate as Ronaldo did at Manchester United. Messi is past his prime and will be expected to perform like he did in the past, the fans who are cheering for his return can easily turn against him.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 27, 2023, 01:27:08 PM

I still have faith in Aubu; he was performing admirably under Tuchel before his dismissal caused the entire team to fall apart. Letting Aubu go would be another terrible decision given that the team currently lacks a natural striker. Aubu is a good finisher with pace; what he needs is a coach who has plans for him and who can make the midfield work. I just hope that whoever the new manager is includes Aubu in their plans for the coming season. He can still play top football for two years,  Xavi wants him back, but the decision will be made by the new manager. The only good and ideal successor if they decide to let him go would be Osimehn, but I doubt he would leave Napoli for a team without a UEFA competition next season.

I can’t wrap my head around what the problem is with Aubameyang, before he moved to Barcelona he could barely score a goal to help Arsenal but started scoring at Barcelona. Maybe he has a attitude problems in the locker room that makes him have problems with clubs he play for.

I'm sure Ten Hag will bring in the players he really needs. for sure, Manchester United has a problem that must be fixed in the transfer market next summer. The Red Devils need to bring in a pure striker who is hungry for goals. since the transfer last winter, there have been several players who have become the target of Manchester United. several names including Osimhen, Harry Kane, Goncalo Ramos, have so far been linked with being recruited by Manchester United.

If the front-line puzzle piece has been found, it is not impossible that the Red Devils will be difficult to stop next season. in fact, being one of the challenging teams if they enter the Champions League. several other rumors also reported that Randal Kolo Muani, Marcus Thuram, Duvan Vlahovic, were on the radar as an option for The Red Devils. Unfortunately, we can't say for sure which striker will suit Ten Hag's style.
when it comes to Harry Kane, Osimhen, at least United have to dig deep into their pockets. so, I guess Ten Hag will choose another option. for sure, if the names I mention here play with United, they will be great goal machines for The Red Devils in the coming season. because, Ten Hag knows very well how to make players even better under his tutelage.
Manchester United seem to be very interested in bringing in additions to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window and one of the crucial positions they will be looking to strengthen is in centre forward and a couple of names have been mentioned. With Weghorst and probably Anthony Martial set to leave at the end of the season it is certain that additions will be made.
