First testnet MN payments immanent! ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs3.postimg.org%2Fblupbdr6b%2Fspr2.png&t=663&c=TLT7u0tzW4ybOg)

Sadly it's not possible to export or copy the data. You can select the table cells, but no possibility to right click or anything. YET!
You can, but only one cell at a time. I copied/pasted all my outputs into a list to generate my mnstart strings with the mnsecret command.

and so spread has masternodes. waaay to gooo just centralize a coin focusing on decentralisation jeeesus christ. but hey. good luck to you all.
These don't rely on reference masternodes like DRK does - anyone with the funds will be able to set one up, and they will each be equal. aand how much fund would it require to own 51% of masternodes again? You'd need way more than 51%, as MNs are chosen at random from the total. But go ahead and try buying just 51% of all DRK or SPR in existence, get back to us with how much that will cost you. Dunce. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

The retards have banned Mr Spread for 14 days. What a pack of wankers. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Is anyone still able to access the testing thread?
Nope. ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) TPTB strike!

Are you able to see the IP address of the masternodes online? I've always disliked that. If these can be set up on a local server(PC) with adequate protection, cold storage and no broadcasting of IP addresses; that = win in my book.😄
Well, 'masternode list' in the QT console doesn't work, but you can see IPs in the debug.log. Someone should try over a VPN.

Can someone send me some more tSPR? If just a dozen of us can get 10-20 MNs going each we could hit the magic 300 number and see if payments work. Right, I'm off to the basement to fire up a few more boxes. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

So, any vin greater than the current minimum is elegible to act as a Masternode, just check the box. Multiple MNs can thus be easily run from one machine, no static IP required, subject to bandwidth limitations.
Personally I would still rent a VPS.
My initial impression is that Spread Masternodes are a HUGE improvement in terms of ease of setup and administration vs. Darkcoin Masternodes. Which is great, until a bunch of Windows users get hacked and lose their Spread. And the service levels of a constantly fluctuating MN network (more so than Darkcoin as home users join/leave) remain to be seen. I don't see there being too many issues with this, but we'll have to see how well the network performance scales.

Guys, should I keep mining after creating MN?
No harm, but don't overdo it, 1 thread is plenty. I'm still at 86 tSPR and waiting for another 20 to confirm. Please nobody bring a crate of 290s online. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Ok, so i created new address in the same wallet and sent 100.5 to each. All masternodes are now live on the network. Is that normal?
Is it going to be this easy to set up once we are on mainnet?
Amazing, isn't it? Depending on the size of the network you are presumably going to run out of bandwidth (especially upload bandwidth on a domestic connection) at some point.

|
|
Mr Spread, we might not see 1000 MNs on testnet - is it worth lowering that number to test the MN bidding behaviour?

Compiled on xubuntu 14.04 fine, mining now, looking good so far: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs18.postimg.org%2F6a2oqmjeh%2Fspr1.png&t=663&c=BUA9gc3Fj36gtQ)

Sounds promising! I wasn't expecting IX to be along in any shape at all yet. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

EDIT: and imagine drk goes to 10€ ... man i would be on horse ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) And if it goes to 10 cents you're going to be the guy in that famous equine avi. 'mrhands' was it?

I've mined for ages at 3.4mh/s and still nothing, yet the only way is to solo mine ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) You either need to set up a private pool as some people have done (with escrow, mutlisig or other arrangements to prevent theft of mining) or get yourself a bigger rig. Or wait more than a few hours... Whatever your hash rate, solo mining will over time earn you just as much as pooled mining.I tried to solo mine with my reconfigured settings, the hashrate increased but I wasn't getting any BS/Shares just detecting new block after block the same as before. I have bolded my post in the hope that this time you actually read it. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Gitian builds take sooo loooong time and if something went wrong you need to restart it from the beginning. Anyone needs Linux builds for testing masternodes or Windows is enough?
Linux please, although unless there's some weirdness we can always compile it ourselves from source as usual? Ah OK thanks. Sounds promising BTW. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Maybe it was ebolareject or whatever he was called that bought the Hippie account. That guy wasted months shitting up the DRK thread every time he was out on day release, and was caught sockpuppeering several times.

Hello fellow darkcoiners!
Can anyone point me a link to a guide for setting up darkcoin daemon wallet on my mining rig so I can try to mine solo? I'm running my GPU rig on debian wheezy and it runs sgminer with poolmanager software. with the low profits of mining, I like to stop mining on pools and toy with solo mining. My hashrate is tiny, about 23MH/s.
I think you just need the following in your darkcoin.conf file and then point your miner at 127.0.0.1:9998 -u rpcuser -p rpcpassword (+ whatever other options) rpcuser=you rpcpasword=something rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=9998 server=1 At least that's the gist of it IIRC. Try it, and if it doesn't work, I was wrong. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)
