741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin season coming soon? on: January 31, 2024, 08:53:09 PM
Till now no i think. We have to wait more time for real Altcoin session it is my observation. With the speculation we can gase near future we will see Altcoin session. Till now bear market for Altcoin not ended. Still some altcoin price decreasing. But some Altcoin price increasing. And near future Bitcoin halving will happen. Then Bitcoin price will increase i think. Then Altcoin coin price will increase and bull session for Altcoin will xome i strongly believe it.

We could call it as mini bullrun for Altcoins as some of the Altcoins have surged beyond expectations and even I think we will have full fledged Altcoin bull run once Bitcoin's price starts pumping up which may happen the the year following the halving somewhere in 2025. Because what we witnessed now is a strange rally where surprisingly Altcoins went for rally without Bitcoin pump though there were gradual pump but not enough to declare bull run.
742  Economy / Speculation / Re: 112 days waiting for bitcoin halving!! on: January 31, 2024, 08:11:20 PM
Price acting great right now, maybe its the hype of the halvening on the horizon.   Iam a sceptic but its not my job to ignore the public sentiment if it is positive then it can drive up the price easily.  My basic take if each halvening has been half the effect or change of the last hence I now look around for greater factors to push us off the line either way up or down.  Last time it was covid so quite obvious, I'm happy if we can keep heading higher 43.8k to beat for todays high.

There is a a lot to come and we may see frequent fluctuation until halving and this is the time most of the big players will try to manipulate the market for accumulating Bitcoin for bullrun and they would have already accumulated enough when BTC was under $20k. I second your thought and we should go with the market trend and consider any dip as buying opportunity and any pump as selling opportunity if we are looking for short term investment or gain but for long term we can do DCA which I am currently doing for a while and it's been the most stress free investment thing I have ever come across. I think Bitcoin may head towards $50k if it stays around the same number for a week or so.
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will still be my choice this year. on: January 31, 2024, 08:04:53 PM
If we have to choose altcoin with lesser risk then it would always be ETH and I still remember as ETH was the only Altcoin to resist the bear market even when Bitcoin went bearish during the beginning of 2018 and it apart from Bitcoin I can only remember ETH breaking it's previous ETH during the 2021 bull run (out of those coins which were part of 2017 bull run and 2018 bear market) because there were coins like XRP, XLM, LTC and other coins which is yet to recover from the bearish market low and break their 2017 bull run ATH.

If there is any other coins apart form Bitcoin then we can always prefer ETH though I have some other coins as well this time like ADA and UTK.
744  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Share Your Craziest Experience of The Army? on: January 31, 2024, 07:43:49 PM
I doubt you would find any real army or army veteran here in this forum but What I have observed is not only limited to my country but overall Army is really patriotic and never shy away from sacrificing their life for the sake of nation and it's because they stay away from their loved ones we stay safe in our home without any external threats. But at the same there there is a dark side of army wherein so massacres were carried out by Army and if they go crazy they forget humanity as they are already frustrated especially the ones in nations outside western and European nations. One can understand from the crimes committed by Syrian, Pakistani, Iraqi & Sudanese armies to name a few. You can mess with a cop but never mess with an army as they work as unit and will go to any extend to support their peers regardless they are right or wrong.
745  Economy / Economics / Re: Leadership and Economics on: January 31, 2024, 07:23:52 PM
One great example on how good leadership reflects the economy of a country is with Lee Kuan Yew. He's the former prime minister of Singapore and he's known not just on their country but in the entire world on how this small country became a first world country and reached to the top. Internal policies and love for the country really are one of the many qualities of having a good leadership and this guy doesn't just have those few factors but his brilliant mind helped a lot of citizens thrived to compete into the global economy.

We could say he is the founder of Modern Singapore and the way he developed a tiny island without any natural resource and the best thing he worked in the best interest of nation and it's development they selected the leaders, ministers and important portfolio was given of merit basis rather than given to their own relatives like it's happening in Arab and African nations right now as that's what causes corruption and leads countries to disaster.  Lee Kuan Yew was indeed the leader which every developing and third world countries need.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Do People Steal Hundreds of Millions in BTC And Still Get Caught? on: January 31, 2024, 06:56:53 PM
They might get away with their stealings but Karma waits for them. No one can lead a peaceful life by robbing innocent people of their hard earned money and the mistake these thieves do is they get addicted to it and they are too lazy to do any business with the money as they want to spend their entire life by stealing and some or the other time they get caught.

Few are very cunning as they never disclose their entire loot and diversify it in multiple assets like real estate or some businesses and they easily get away from jail and then enjoy their life but it's a miserable life.
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Myro - worth a gamble? on: January 30, 2024, 07:59:08 PM
There is always a higher risk associated with meme coins and myro is no exception, I would say you may or may not depending on your level of risk tolerance because I would be hesitant to invest into such coins especially when it has pumped hard and also dropped, memecoin have a characteristic that it would drop and then pump but suddenly it will keep dropping without any sign of increase hence I would say it's not advisable to deal with this coin if you cannot afford to lose it as meme coins can make you much richer or broke.
748  Other / Politics & Society / Re: RISK TAKERS ARE GREAT MAKERS on: January 30, 2024, 06:43:30 PM
Basically our ancestors rocked because they took risks and they didn't play it safe either. So we shouldnt shy away from online opportunities or business just because it seems risky. It's a nudge to step out of your comfort zone, take some chances and maybe make life better for you and the next crew.

We need to take risk as without taking risk we will spend our entire life paying off mortgages and working 9 to 6, but we need to be logical and take risk where it matters or where there is a possibility of good returns or being successful if we give our 100%. For example we can take risk in terms of trading only if we have knowledge and knows how the trading works instead of jumping into it without knowledge or strategy as both contains risk but the latter one will surely make us lose everything.

It's simple that we need to have knowledge before taking risk else it would lead to losses.
749  Local / India / Re: Which Country has the Highest Crypto Tax Rate and Which does not? on: January 30, 2024, 06:02:21 PM
Yes this just shows how different countries and their government are trying to loot the people out their profits as it just frustrates me even to think who gave them rights to take huge chunk out of our profit for which we spend sleepless nights and hours working on trading strategy to earn that, these sort of extortion are the reason why Bitcoin was created to remove any barrier or 3rd party for P2P transfers.

We cannot think of migrating to any other nation unless we are ultra rich with Crypto and it becomes our main source of income. UAE would be the most preferred choice as compared to cost of living in other nations.
750  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me who own the current banking system? on: January 30, 2024, 05:32:06 PM
There is not a single owner, you need to understand that every nation has a big one but yeah most of the banking institutes are controlled by zionist lobby and rothschild but we cannot take on them.

Need more clarity in your post as there is not a single person who would be accountable or run the entire banking system but one thing for sure that they are all corrupt and controls our finance. I would say there is only one way to escape from them or stop them from controlling us that's through decentralization but we cannot go all in to decentralization due to adoption rate as we will need money and hence we cannot defeat them.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Between new tokens and old tokens, which would you invest into? on: January 30, 2024, 05:30:03 PM
I have selected some altcoins like ADA and UTK which I personally feels haven't achieved the value what it deserves and I would like to have some funds invested into these coins and apart from this most of the investment (short terms) would be purely based on how the market trend goes because we cannot really assure or have much hint which coin would pump so I would rather stay active and invest in the coins which starts to pump and it doesn't matter whether new or old as our aim is profit.

I will invest in UTK which has been in the market for a while and despite having really good roadmap they didn't get their moment till date and I will take little risk over there.
752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Any Genuine Arbitrage Bot ? on: January 30, 2024, 05:14:57 PM
I am sorry if this topic has been discussed in the past but I want to know if people are still using any arbitrage trading bot and if it has been beneficial and are they genuine? because I have come across lot of bots and trading automations shown in YouTube which are kind of scams as they rip off your wallet hence thought of checking if I could get any leads here which are worth trying. Need a proof as well if it has been successful.

Meanwhile I am working on creating my own trading strategy using Python and if it's successful I will share here, it's still it very initial stage as of now.
753  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was Bitcoin ETF really a good thing for growth of crypto and Bitcoin prices? on: January 30, 2024, 05:01:50 PM
Indeed, it's a good thing as this will result in more adoption of Bitcoin even those who were reluctant to use Bitcoin would give it a try and thus it would increase the demand but we have not seen the price movement like how it was expected but the goodness for Bitcoin due to ETF approval is adoption rate and it makes Bitcoin more mainstream as it would create more curiosity on people's mind about Bitcoin because some people consider it as bubble but after SEC approval of spot ETF for Bitcoin they will be convinced it's not a ponzi or bubble.
754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying with Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2024, 04:30:38 PM
First of all Bitcoin was not created as an asset to hodl or investment rather as a P2P transfer medium without any third party intervention and to be honest it's absolutely okay to use Bitcoin for buying stuff as it can go either way because price will be fluctuating. I personally have sold Bitcoin and exchanged it to buy stuffs when there was emergency and yeah now people have better P2P options and Bitcoin cannot match their speed even but in terms of security Bitcoin wins the race.

Need to understand one thing that you need fiat in first place to buy Bitcoin.
755  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: 2024 some people still dy mine shit coin on: January 29, 2024, 07:25:54 PM
Pi mining was the most stupidest thing but unfortunately most of us believed in it because it was started by Oxford university alumni, even I did it for few weeks and didn't see any progress and no assurance from the team hence dropped it and I still have friends who continues to mine it till recently. But hey the best thing I have started doing and I see most of the users in this forum has done is doing DCA because we have accumulated good amount of Bitcoin without actually feeling the pinch regardless if the market is up or down as we have purchased it evenly and that's the beauty of DCA. Good you are updating people about the current trend and process of how to make profits, I have been doing the same for my close circle.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My List of Altcoins - Discussion and Predictions on: January 29, 2024, 07:15:20 PM
I think you have prepared such an interesting target as a short-term portfolio. But in terms of meme coin, I like Shiba Inu because I keep it in my bag. Almost new memecoins have entered the market this year and if a bull market is formed this year then memecoins will make good profits. My motivation is also based on real utility and it is more likely to happen.

I repeat, investing or hodling meme coin even for a short period of time could prove fatal as I am telling this from my experience because it doesn't take much time for memecoin to go from 0 to 100 and vice versa as I have experienced both the wave but unfortunately lost good amount of capital in the same Shiba Inu coin which you have mentioned. There are possibilities that memecoin can pull the magic once again but we need to understand that we Shibu has it's peak and it may be some other coin this time. Still, if you wanna take risk then ensure you have stop loss in place.
757  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $35K or $45K next? on: January 29, 2024, 06:53:11 PM
Looking at the numbers it seems to me that Bitcoin is going to retest $45k and if it crossed then it will head to the ATH of this year but I know the journey won't be as smooth as we expect because there would be multiple fluctuations but I don't see it going back to $35k or below at this moment. We may see Bitcoin crossing $50k once again if it manages to break this year's ATH and sustain above that for a week.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chances for a Litecoin (LTC) ETF? on: January 29, 2024, 06:30:36 PM
There might be an ETH etf but I am pretty sure there will not be a ltc etf. Sure it’s similar to bitcoin and all but nobody really uses it anymore. It was more popular during 2017 when people used it due to smaller fees but now people moved on to ETH l2 solutions.

So even if it was totally possible to have an ltc etf, most likely there will be no demand for it and it would just close down. The ETH etf is the only non-bitcoin crypto I can see that actually gets a spot etf going.

Aligned, as I don't see any chances for LTC spot ETF but yes ETH spot ETF may be approved and why would anyone file for LTC ETF when people don't prefer it as it's key upselling point which was lesser transaction fee and lightening speed but now there are lot better options available in the market and LTC has kind of stayed behind as there has been no updates on development from the team and why would people choose it now I would say it's a collective failure and won't make sense even to apply for spot ETF.
759  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Crypto & Older Generation on: January 29, 2024, 06:08:07 PM
I came to discovered that this new generation adopt crypto fast than the old generation because, the old people still believe in the mentality that is not easy for a young man or woman to get rich the way the youths in the countries are getting richer through the help of decentralized currency.

But the old generation prefer the new generation lifestyle and the way they are living their life not to depend on their parents at the age of 18 or 20 compare old generation when at age 25 or 30 youths were still living with their parents because there was nothing like opportunity we are experiencing today in the Bitcointalk.org.

Quite right, I have observed the same as older generation are unable to digest the fact that people can get rich quickly though it requires efforts and sometimes luck when it comes to crypto. I think they need to adapt with the current trend and should be more supportive towards crypto and I know about the generation gap and the difference in mindset but still no one is gaining by not adapting to current technology. Sometimes I feel it's the jealousy which takes over but every generation had their own goodness as we are earning quick now but we are eating chemicals as all our food contains chemicals wherein the older generations had pure food. People need to accept the reality because I have had difficult time explaining crypto to older generation as they just plainly call it scam or bubble which didn't burst for over a decade.
760  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is nothing like it since the past 12 years on: January 29, 2024, 05:41:12 PM
I would say it would have been worst than what you have mentioned, especially surviving on one meal a day and I am glad that your struggle didn't go in vain and indeed Bitcoin has been the best investment in last decade as no other asset can even come near to what Bitcoin has achieved but I am wondering you have an instinct or knowledge that Bitcoin's value will increase and it would be an investment medium. Everyone has their own share of struggle and sacrifices but conviction makes it successful at the end of the day. Good to see how Bitcoin has transformed lives for better.
