Via his official Instagram account, Eden Hazard has announced that he is retiring from football. Previously we knew he had retired from the Belgian national team and now he added that he had ended his career playing football as a whole, including for clubs. After 16 years and more than 700 games he has officially stepped away from the sport he loves so much and I really appreciate his decision. Everyone knows that when he was in his prime he suffered a prolonged injury and that caused him to experience a decline in performance. During his 4 seasons at Real Madrid he spent most of his time on the bench and since then he began to lose hope of continuing to play football. The only thing we remember is of course his prime time when he was still at Chelsea and it was a very extraordinary moment at that time. Well, enjoy your retirement and wish you the best Eden Hazard!

Looking at the EPL standings this week, two teams from the city of North London are in first and second place, which makes Spurs and Arsenal even more confident about continuing to be consistent this season. Both Spurs and Arsenal are still undefeated until the 8th week and of course this competition between city teams will continue in the future if there is no draw or defeat for them. I didn't expect the arrival of coach Ange to be so positive, it made the Spurs players appear more consistent this season and they became more confident since the previous series of wins. Barca underestimated Granada and that was why the two goals was scored in the first half. Chelsea did play superbly today and deserve the win. They controlled the game really well. Starting the second half with the referee awarding a penalty to Chelsea further dampened any hopes Burnley may have had. Sterling was really involved with the success the team enjoyed in this game.

City might be one of the best in terms of competing for the title but one thing I haven't seen is that I have not seem a season that comes and goes without Manchester City not being in form, they're just good and that's what other club don't have that's why they're better in the league.
Manchester City current position doesn't show if they won't defend their title or not and as it stands the players that ain't in the team are not even showing. Pep Guardiola is a coach that always have back up and he knows how to improvise when things ain't going his way, like the absence of KDB, he got one of the better player Phil Foden to play KDB's part.
As for teams who are likely to win the league or give City another headache I can't for sure mention those two London clubs, Tottenham and Arsenal. They're never serious but let's see how this season will be like for them.

Lower the egos of Erik ten Hag and his players. The players themselves experienced many problems, where the presence of Antony and Sancho still played an important role in building attacks. Now leaving Rashford on the front line without being able to work with Hojlund or Garnacho will have a bad impact. Talking about Hojlund, he has started playing well and has an undoubted goal-scoring instinct.
