741  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How Does popular economic trends solve real life problem? on: February 20, 2024, 06:47:05 PM
Everywhere is currently flooded with the price of the dollar and fuel rising too high that has directly affected the price of foodstuff and so many things in the market and BTT is not left out as so many threads is now centred about our current economic situation.

My question is, how does this whole trend help reduce the price of dollar?

Wouldn't this public talks about how bad our economy has become tarnish our image and reputation in the public space? Or could it possibly make our leaders more concerned and set up strategies to help reduce the hardship on the citizens?
Bro wat are you saying sef so are you saying that Nigerian should hold back on the happening about the state of the economy being rubbish by these set of people in power? The thing is that the country is bad and when people speak out it's good because that's the only way the people in power can possibly know that they are actually doing something wrong in the country because from their taught it's all well since they are not being affected by the state of bad economy the nation has.
742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason for acquiring bitcoins. on: February 20, 2024, 06:42:31 PM
What is the essence of buying and hodling Bitcoin like is it to accumulate it till it attains ATH then we sell it off and wait for a dip and start buying and holdling again or just accumulate it and start using it as a digital means of exchange or are we going to continue till the 21 million Bitcoins have be mined, already 19 millions have been mined remaining 2 million because overtime, i have come across several topics about buy and hodl bitcoin so i actually wish to know the sole objective of acquiring bitcoins.
Why do people do anything in this world in the first place? The answer should be to get profits and thats what makes people go into Bitcoin purchase because of the high probability of people getting profits. Bitcoin is a medium that makes it so easy for people to get profits at a very high amount without doing much stress, the only factor is that one must know fully the basics of Bitcoin and you are good to good so tell me is that not enough for people to buy it?
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites including unsolicited games in betslips to ensure it fails on: February 20, 2024, 06:36:03 PM
On several occasions, a friend has complained that he often sees games he didn't include in his multi-bet slip. And those bets are of games that obviously will fail which then renders his ticket useless.

I ask, has someone else noticed this same thing, as he said he has noticed in two different betting sites. I want to know if its a global practice to expect or a thing with the betting company or that the both betting sites were a coincidence.

Remember, he has series of wins that has been repeated for a long time and he has made serious profit from both platforms without betting with up to 3% of what he has won in total.
Hmmm, this really sound crazy if you ask me because since my many years of gambling I don't think I have ever come across such thing before and I think your friend might be over reacting or maybe the fault could be from the site maybe an error in the page of the website where the bettor wants to stake or place the bet. Sometimes the sight might be slow in processing and maybe failed to remove a game that he once selected and him too might fail to cross check for certainty before playing.
744  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Road to Bitcoin bull run on: February 18, 2024, 09:16:02 PM
My naija people I hail una, I hope say di dollar to naira rate wey de make our beloved naira to devalue everyday no too affect una Bitcoin journey to bull run. Anyhow we wey know wetin de for crypto matter suppose try to de do DCA method to de accumulate and hodle Bitcoin, no matter how small, because in approximately one year  time from now, hopefully we go get plenty ROI. Bitcoin halving de happen like leap year, because na once in every four years e de happen, and from research, after e happen na new ATH go follow within the next year.

So dis thread na morale to us say make we no give up for our Bitcoin hodling , based on di economic hardship wey we de face for our country now. Who sow in tears go reap in joy and happiness, e no easy but make we no give up, in di end success is certain. But las las, Bitcoin accumulation to bull season no be do or die affair, if we try  but no get money to de buy Bitcoin, because of di coming bull run, make we no kill ourselves, after dis bull run other bull runs go still come in the future.

Boss thanks for the advice and also heads up because I no go lie you many of us no wan really miss out on the great opportunity wey this bull run bring because na one of the many opportunities wey crypto lovers for the crypto space don wait for and e don take four years for them to get here but most of us we get to know about this knowledge very late and still we have tried to follow up to see wether we fit gain anything from inside but as you talk am na so the matter be, na hold Bitcoin no be do or die affair but na only person wey know watin him eyes don see when him dey poor go know know if e go really wan see those things again.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Understanding the basics in Bitcoin before investing on: February 18, 2024, 09:09:39 PM
Many newbies got discouraged because they bought Bitcoins at the wrong time (when the price is high) and are in a hurry to make profits immediately. This quest to make profits immediately makes them to compromise and sell of their Bitcoins when they feel Bitcoin investment is not worth it. Bitcoin is a high risk investment, yea but it is only those who are not planning to embark on a long term journey with Bitcoin that often suffer this risk.
It is a common scenario nowadays for newbies to get influenced by others, who are often exposed to social media, and friends who boast about their sudden increase in profits by investing in cryptocurrencies. As newbies also want to make money, they follow the same path and invest when they see it, which is during the prices are high, without understanding the risks involved.

You would be surprised to the level of influence this newbies are exposed to, I have seen cases of friends telling me that they want to get into Bitcoin or purchase Bitcoin die to the fact that they have heard one or two stories of people actually making it big time through social media which obviously they know nothing about and even fail to make research, all what they are concerned about is actually getting involved in securing an investment in Bitcoin and sometimes you would try even explaining the volatility of how Bitcoin investment is and all the risk involvement but it would sound completely numb to them because they are mind is only set on the possible profits they can make through the Bitcoin investment.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling between the past and nowadays on: February 18, 2024, 08:56:15 PM
In your opinion, what are the factors that brought  change in the field of gambling?
in my opinion, Computers, smartphones and the internet, this three invention brought countless possibilities(to almost everything to be honest) in the gambling field, it expanded its reach to billions of people.

What is your outlook on it in the future?
with the technology's advancement, I can only see that the gambling industry will continue to grow and people will create new innovative ways to enjoy gambling online.

That's very correct because technology is the actually the father to changes and we all know how this changes have come and this is why the gambling industry too has being been greatly affected by this change and as far as the tech power continues to grow so will more innovation and advancement will take place, we all knew that before this period gambling industry was limited to a only one particular means of users getting access to it but as the world advances with technology so did the industry too and now there are crypto gambling means and I obviously know that this development are all stepping stones compared to what the future holds as the world of technology continues to grow.
747  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: February 18, 2024, 08:34:12 PM
Is there anything happened to the bc.game website? I can't access the website. It's shows "This site can’t be reached".
Or my region is restricted on BC.Game if then I wanna know that, can I access your website with VPN? Also, if I use a VPN, will I be able to access all the features of bc.game? or not?

Nothing is wrong with it - try using other mirror links to see if anyone will work for you: https://bcgame.com (you’ll find the list here).

As for the restriction, I don’t know your region - but you can use vpn and still get all the features but the problem only arises when you’re asked for kyc verification (if you happen to be asked) you won’t be able to pass it due to the restrictions in your region.  First of all, go through the ToS of the site and check the list of restricted countries if yours is among them, if it’s not then try clearing cache or use a different browser or try using different mirror links.
Thanks for the link but I have already tried this BC.GAME Official Mirror List. All links are working except the BC.Game ,I have also tried after clearing the caches and used kiwi, chrome and brave, firefox, I don't know what is happening.
But just now I Have tried to access bc.game with using supervpn connecting to the Singapore, German, USA. But I can't login on my account it is showing this.
Anyways, if there is no difference between the features of BC.GAME's official mirror links and bc.game link, then I don't have any problem to using those mirror links. Wink

That's strange I can't really point to the reason for the site to be showing like that on your end because I just tried visiting the and found no errors, it's seem all is good from my end. I have curious to know what and why the reason for you to be getting this error message well maybe your region is restricted or something because I haven't heard anyone complain of such.
748  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post quality matters than replying fast on: February 18, 2024, 07:51:42 PM
It is better to write a very comprehensive comment with quality thoughts and ideas in it than to write some shitpost for the sake of completing the post count or whatever. IMO, good posts are not only on the first page of a thread; some quality posts from some reputable members can still be found on the second or third page of a thread, and it doesn't really matter as long as they are giving a quality idea that is far different from what others have said. Although some members like to be on the first role comment because they feel it's what gives their comments the possibility of getting merit more easily, that's not a fact; comments on the second or third page usually receive merit as well.

I don't think this action only applies to newbies because I have seen some higher ranked users here too rushing to be the first page posted although I can't be certain on the notion of them actually rushing to post but sometimes it just feels like it's what they are actually doing, I think I have even come across a posts of users being accused here of actually using their alts account to ask a question and still supposedly being the first one to actually answer them correctly all in the name of achieving merits.
749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are newbies afraid to comment on threads of highly ranked members? on: February 18, 2024, 07:41:20 PM
I've been confused for several days about something that led to this thread. Many may find my subject ridiculous, fanciful, or incoherent, or I may be critical, but I still need to clear my doubts.

I want to give my opinion on some threads when I read threads of senior, legendary, or ranked , but being a newbie, I am afraid to join discussions with seniors, (legendary) members. The scary thing is (though it may be completely wrong to think), I think, can tell me, how a newbie engages in discussions with seniors, wants to give advice, what I know and how little I know. Also, I have a small number of threads that have no merit (that's my main fear). I even stopped commenting on some posts, thinking I might be wrong in my knowledge, even though I was right.

I know this thread will seem like nonsense to many but I took a lot of courage, and now I want to know if it's just my mistake or if it happens to many freshmen. But I have seen many newbies join the threads of senior, legendary or ranked members, but I hold back for fear of lack of courage. I can't move it at all.

If this is not the case for many in new situations, and if this fear applies to me, how do I overcome it?

All your valuable suggestions will be appreciated.
I think most of the reason for the fear is because most newbie tend to see other newbies being corrected and some of them that aren't willing to learn make it seem as if it's actually a bad thing for them to be corrected. I have seen newbie's involved in some serious discussion and that's because these certain newbie actually have done their home work because the community here is all about offering what you have upstairs and that also is a major fault coming from sets of newbies because they are eager to involve themselves in discussion where as they have failed to actually learn well first and I tell you it leads to correction which other newbies see and take it as oppression cases.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well Prepared For the Bull Market And So Far In Bitcoin Investment. on: February 17, 2024, 11:28:05 PM
My Bitcoin Investment
I thanks God I am back to continue the knowledge of bitcoin and it Blockchain, within this period which I was absent from the forum, I have learn more and I have also taught many people and some of them also invested in bitcoin some times I used some of the good quality posts for reference, I have not stopped my learning. And today I am a good investor. So far so good I have invested 0.05494075 BTC.
.

In January 1, 2023, I made my first purchased of bitcoin My First Bitcoin on the New Year Day 2023. and after that I purchased it massively when the price was low as $23+k as of of early (first 4 months) 2023 and after then I used DCA to accumulate every week and month and today I have a good number or amount of bitcoin for my level. And I am not competing with anyone but to my level. I have bitcoin now.  I was planning to have 1 bitcoin but at a time the school expenses were much so I have to stop and hodle the once I have acquired.

I think this is the time for me to excite my joy. I have invested some reasonable amount of bitcoin before the halving and the Bull Market. At first I was keeping my coins in the Exchange where I bought my coins but later when I discovered that it is not saved for me to keep them there, then I created an Electrum wallet which I have asked question on it last year , so I transferred all the coins to the newly created wallet and printed out the seed phrase and laminated it and keep it in a safe place and also photocopy two extra and store it in different locations. I will like to thanks those who taught me wallet from one way or the other in the forum. Such as LoyceMobile, NeuroticFish, Charles-Tim, joniboini, Rruchi man, SquirrelJulietGarden, Peanutswar.

And special greeting to The Cryptovator, The Sceptical Chymist, rby, Rikafip, SamReomo, GeorgeJohn, CryptoHeadlineNews, Dr.Bitcoin_Strange, Franctoshi, Sandra_hakeem, Eh Moo Nah, SmartGold01, Mpamaegbu, Adbitco. Thanks you all.

DiMarxist.

First of all, welcome back to the community and also try your best not to get involved in any situation that led to you been restricted. Secondly I must say you have actually done we for yourself, well building and stalking up that amount of bitcoin must have crazy for you although I don't actually know your type of work but looking at the value of bitcoin you are holding that would be a very good start ahead of the bull run that's very close.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do people truly risk their money on bets for profit? on: February 17, 2024, 11:19:22 PM
I came across a recent topic where the op was saying over 80% of gamblers gamble to make money and I had to have a dip thought on that and was curious as to know if there are possibilities that people gamble just for the sake of answering the name gambler?
Nearly eighty percentage of the gamblers are doing gambling for the money making.
From my opinion, I think there isn’t any need to stake or risk one’s money on a game simply because you want to catch fun when you could simply not risk your money and still have fun while watching same game.
I don’t know if I’m really staying my points well but I wish to know if people really have to gamble without intentions of making money?
Well I can say there are only few persons that actually do this and I believe this would be the type of gamblers that are already made because these type of gambler don't actually play for the winning involved but maybe for the pleasure that comes with all the adrenaline pump of actually gambling. There are many types of gambler today that would argue differently to this thought but with all what I research on, I think I can say some gamblers actually do stake for the genuine fun involved gambling.
752  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: BITCOIN'S PRICE VOLATILITY 😮😮 on: February 17, 2024, 10:50:57 PM
The bull market and season don reach already so seeing the price fluctuating isn't supposed to be a new thing and aslo na watin dey cause the massive demand of Bitcoin too for the market because people dey see as the price dey go and dem dey try to get their hands on it as possible as they can because when the price begin go up people go one dey say dem regret for not buying.

Volatility itself na watin give crypto and Bitcoin in particular a specific blend of uniqueness and this period na the period of Bitcoin going up and e for make sense to get coins to back up and wait.
753  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: The Nigeria system of education how it’s affecting the youths of today on: February 17, 2024, 10:45:31 PM
My people I greet oo. I don see say the way education system they go for Nigeria. It’s not encouraging oo. How education dy become so expensive, and the system they very poor. See as lecturers dy exploit from students. Without even taking a deep thought to know or even think how this Student’s are surviving. See how the government and the so called eduction bored  will be using the future of young ones to play any how. Some times we go for unnecessary strikes, they will say it’s for the development of our schools, and so on and so fort. Once the government pay them small money. The so called education board system, will take those money as their personal gain, without thinking of the students well being. The level of poor education system in Nigeria is really becoming a case that needs to be addressed.the leaders don’t really care about our education system, because all their children are in other countries that are well developed schooling.while the masses are here suffering in this so called Nigerian education system.
This education problem no be today e start because this country don already dey spoil dey come no be today and na why so many of the supposed scholars wey supposed help us here dey travel comot dey go build their selves and some of the many Nigerians dey even become the best doctors and best at their field of study because of the available material and also the will power for them to learn outside so if this our country fit improve these educational system e for help well well because the manpower and brain are already filled in this country but situation keeps chasing and removing people wey supposed help the country comot finish.
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 10:22:10 PM
I think it depends for me the nature and offerings from the casino although I understand that some new casino are might be a place for scam activities but I would like to believe that even the most prominent casino actually stated from somewhere and was once a new casino and there are more benefits from new casino because they would be looking to draw more persons to their casino so these casino normally run crazy bonus and offerings.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP telling people how much Bitcoin you have on: February 17, 2024, 10:11:55 PM
I think that probably just at that moment they realize that we are talking about personal things, that shouldn't be shared with people. In a certain way I can also understand why some people ask this kind of questions: if you're not into bitcoin probably you don't take it seriously and you struggle to understand that it's money, so it's private.
Sure, if someone is aware about the personal data, he won't share it to other people. Personal data isn't something available for sharing, we must keep it secretly. So if people ask about the number of our Bitcoin, just ignore the question. It is not a proper question to answer, we can suspect there is something wrong with the people. The number of Bitcoin and the amount of money in the bank account, are 2 secret things that should be forbidden to share with other people.

Bitcoin is equivalent to money so keeping your financial holdings a secret is definitely something that everyone should do because the world today is a an evil world and you don't what the next person would be thinking or capable of so i wouldn't advice anyone in any situation whatsoever to actually let people know about their financial background, i believe keeping it a secret reduces the eye of people on you because you cant attack what you dont know about.
756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The person who can’t control emotions in gambling will never earn money from it on: February 16, 2024, 09:58:19 PM
But there is misleading with the statement of making money from gambling, this is as if gambling is one way that is commonly referred to as work. However, in fact, it is not that easy to consider gambling as a job.
The mentality of losing will be a heavy burden to be able to continue the game rationally, there are no longer any reasonable calculations because the goal is to avenge one's defeat. In a different situation with those who win, their mentality will tend to be easier to control and they will be able to think clearly about the probability of winning. I myself have experienced these two things and even now, sometimes what I think often fails to be executed properly so that I end up running out of balance to play.

The gambler who had enough knowledge in gamblers can earn money from it,because the skilful gambling was different from the normal gambling. The normal gamblers use the random better,So the game can be win or loss based on the luck in the gambling site. But the gamblers who had skills play the gambling with different strategies.Because the gamblers use their own skills on each betting, the calculation based betting will give the productive results to the gamblers. The gamblers with skills are using the gambling as their regular job,but they are not the gambling addicted person. They try to earn using their skill in gambling.
Well all what you have said actually depends on the type of games you are actually betting or gambling on because I know for sure that some games are purely luck bound and their is nothing like strategy to this and that's because you don't need to calculate to actually play the game and examples are the slots game like dice and also roulette games. What you do is you actually just role the dice and wait for the outcome to show and take the results of the game at heart too.
757  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: The increase of altcoins on: February 16, 2024, 09:44:12 PM
When it comes to  altcoins, there are a lot of options out there with unique features and potential for growth
It's important to analyze and carry out a little research before making any investment decisions
Investing in cryptocurrencies can be quite risky, it's wise to invest what you can afford to lose
Just for the benefit of those that don't know altcoins, it's simply alternative cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin.
But out of all the ones that have emerged, which is the safest to invest in currently?
In my opinion I would say Ethereum, cause it has been on the rise lately and gaining more worth.
This is a good altcoin that has a lot of futuristic potentials.
But the value of crypto can be quite unpredictable which is why you must always be updated before making any investment decision
When it comes to altcoins selection the issue of finding the right coin to invest is always a matter to deliberate on because it's very hard to make a good selection of the right altcoin that maybe have the pumping power that could give you good profits during this bull because alot of them will be out there and if not properly accessed you might jump in to a case of scam altcoins that maybe rise up and eventually dump again in little space and time.

For me Solana is the choice well that's from my own POV because I have made research and found out that it might have a strong bull run this year so if there is any possible thought of investing I will definitely choose Solana .
758  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Hold your dollar tight on: February 16, 2024, 09:39:19 PM
Right now nah holding in foreign currency nah be the route to salvage body away from this economic hardship we the face in the face of this continuous fall of the value of the Naira. However, if you want to hold your money in dollar you should be careful with this domiciliary bank accounts due to the news wey federal government done the raise intention say them wan the convert domiciliary accounts money to Naira as them take am nah the solution to this local currency way the fall.

So if any person the hold, make sure say nah in bitcoin or USDT and try use correct exchange wey get reputation or better wallet to take hold your coins. Wetin I believe be say anyhow things get to we go survive am as there must always be a way out for people like us
My brother the matter for this country no get head again oo, omo I just dey wonder how people wey get full family of maybe three or four dey take survive because the matter no be here things don hard and the only way forward na to actually save up in USDT or Bitcoin because if you put your money for bank and na value loss e go just get and nothing go come out from there so better save and suffer where you have hope say increment go dey in the future for your investment.
759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A little ignorance and you can lose all your holdings on: February 16, 2024, 09:17:33 PM
I came across the post on Reddit about a guy that took this hard drive that he stored his bitcoin to a data recovery specialist to fix it, who told him that his 276 bitcoin has been stolen, wait a minute how, his hard drive was bad and gave it to you to fix it and then you told him it was stolen.
It's a shame how people would still act so unwise with their holdings, I know its not his fault that his hard drive got bad but at least he should have taken some measures to secure his holdings, and now there is no proff that the so called data recovery specialist was the one who stole it or not.

Well am suprised even to hear the possibility of someone having such amount of Bitcoin and still being so naive and clumsy to fall for such stories although no one can be certain on the story about the Bitcoin actually being stolen but I think the guy should have done his own research and kept his holdings more flexible because I know for sure if am having such coins, I would rather prefer saving it in an offline cold wallet where nothing like hack stories would be told because that's the last thing I will hate to hear about Bitcoin that I have saved up for a long time.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 16, 2024, 09:10:53 PM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?

Interest Ask. I'll tell you what I heard about this. In religion, people rely on God, his plan and his power at work in our lives. There is one God and there cannot be another. While previously, non-believers worshiped the goddess “Luck” and believed in her, which is considered unacceptable in many religions. There is God and his power and hoping for luck is contrary to religion
Well even in place where there are one religion, I think people can still be allowed to do what they believe Because it's a free world and restrictions on things because of religions believe is not really sounding okay although I know that most people are strict with their religion and that's why the whole nation such acts as gambling is seen as evil and some place even punishable too.
