I was halfway into my 24 hour test... lol when the delay in payout started. Simply put I was going to take the 24 hour period and divide my total to get the hourly average. No worries about the pool the biggest worry would be the website. I trust it will get sorted out. I just wanted to put it out there that to be taken seriously an ALT coin needs to be on their A game all the time. Agreed 100% but i believe this is the first time in 6 months its offline. Maybe something with the server its running on. Jared is contacted and working on the problems. Digibyte.co back online

Just a open question to everyone ... how many people would be willing to contribute some DGB to take out a banner ad on Coindesk? The base price would be $800 (that would be for 50,000 impressions) ...
I'd be willing to throw in approximately $75 to get the ball rolling (from the start). I'd also be willing to set up a donation address/wallet (and provide transparent accounting). I think if we're going to do it, we might consider timing the ad with the DigiSpeed announcement ...
I've been thinking about this for the past week or so ... and I don't have time at the moment to fully explain all the reasons ... but I think it might be a good idea.
$50 added i am in maybe a good idea to create a topic for this on DGB forum. easy to follow how many people want to invest in this Thanks for all the support everyone. I will make a topic on the DGB forum ... but, I'm also going to have to think through the logistics, reporting, support, questions, etc.. Based on the positive early responses ... I'll move forward and keep everyone in the loop ... Offcourse check me in. I will also donate! I love helping when individual go above and beyond starting projects! Shows Jared he has a big team behind him! Same thanks to you LovetheCoins I have seen some very unreal images in this forum lots of creative people.. Can't wait too see the banner! I would donate, too If DGB has a banner (320x250) I would publish it on my german news page about Bitcoin & Altcoins. http://blog.btcgermany.eu/I will give it a try...Do we need a .gif? Any suggestions? Examples?

100% Digibyte imho
Looking at your avatar and signature is making it obvious. Haha yeah you are right but dont you think Digibyte haves it al? 1. Name - It's the coin's "face" and it is extremely important. You can't "sell" (adopt) CyberGoatCoin (for example). This is not serious. Digibyte,Good, strong an catchy 2. Active developer - There are a lot of good coders around, but most of them sucks on communication. It is not enough only to update specs, you have to be also "with the people". Jared Tate, 1,3 years constant development and always looking to network with other devs and people outside the crypto. 3. Strong coin network - A coin must be secured in order to trust that your investment will not be lost, because of some issue. 3300+ nodes, multi-algo,Digishield. 4. Strong social network - This is something that about 90% of the coins are missing. We are not talking only about hype, we are talking about foundation, which is extremely vital in order to complete 5th step. Check for Jared tate and Digibyte. https://hk.linkedin.com/in/jaredctatehttps://twitter.com/DigiByteCoinhttps://www.linkedin.com/company/digibyte-payment-networkAlways socializing and helping others, Helped out Naut (BK) Dogecoin with Digishield. 5. Business oriented thinking - If you ask me, this is something which 98% ot the coins are missing. Lately we are all witnessing numerous coin launches with fancy roadmaps, great wallets and specs, but this is not that important, because you actually must sell that. And you have to do it for months and years ahead. It is not enough just to list it on big exchange, make some good volume, rise in price and profit. This is why most of the coins are dying right/soon after they are launched. I think Q 4 is enough 250k investment last year. http://www.coindesk.com/digibyte-raises-250k-altcoin-retail-payments/1 office in HK and 1 office in USA

Having an issue with my Digibit wallet not synchronizing...just happened today only saying "Connecting..." on the bottom of the wallet. Any idea why I am not connecting to any peers?
Maybe you can try to reset/resync the blockchain? Tried this, but still no luck...anything connection to the website being down? I am trying to download the Windows wallet so I can send my coins I'm mining somewhere rather than an exchange. Website and download server offline atm. You can use the online multisig wallet,. www.dgbwallet.comGreat, thanks! No problem! Good luck.

Imho - the answer is pretty simple (but execution is not) if we are not talking about day trading.
1. Name - It's the coin's "face" and it is extremely important. You can't "sell" (adopt) CyberGoatCoin (for example). This is not serious. 2. Active developer - There are a lot of good coders around, but most of them sucks on communication. It is not enough only to update specs, you have to be also "with the people". 3. That guy on 47 sat makes a smart move Thank you for your kind words . It'll join my stash of 38,000,000 already. I hold bitcoin and digibyte only. Other coins i get through trades, rewards etc i convert to btc and 50/50 convert to digibyte. I actually need some for a gaming/crypto project i'm working on that will use dgb as the base reward system. Mainly because of its development activity and low value coin as opposed to bitcoin and the speed of confirmations makes it ideal for me. Very intresting! I hope for you that the buy orders will fill but it will be hard to get it all. Looking forward to your project!

That guy on 47 sat makes a smart move yes, but the person who fills his order is a knob! Some decent debate going on here and I think we have fleshed most of it out. What we really need is faster easy ways of converting fiat to DGB. and I didn't say anyone who spends their DGB is a fool, I said anyone who spends ALL of their DGB is a fool, especially if they mined it! One day i was reading here some members talking DigiByte exchance this idea in trashcan? yes, I'm sure Jared was talking about that at one point, I remember reading it somewhere at sometime. I don't know, i imagine it may still be in the pipeline but there are so many things going on with this coin. Exactly, You are spot-on. At the old website you could see a "roadmap" and there you could see the DGB exchange is in development.
