741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: www.myetherwallet question on: August 12, 2017, 09:36:21 AM
I have no idea how waves wallets are but, the link you gave us allow you see details of the wallet such as the address and private keys. If you want to send then check the Send ether & tokens tab. I know that ether has their own blockchain and I believe waves is not an ERC20 token so you will need a unique address for each.
742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 3.2K!! on: August 05, 2017, 04:59:02 PM
It's possible that this is not going to last If it got triggered by the BCH dump and If that's actually the case, BCH will reach a low price that will make people buy it again, and you will see once again, a price decrease but probably nothing significant.
743  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise on this forum - Round 217 on: August 04, 2017, 10:24:08 AM
I know that scams are not moderated on the forums but I think that It could be wiser to take off the ChipMixer ads right now as there are a lot of people who are no longer able to withdraw their funds, continuing to advertise them could make things worst for more users at this point.
744  Other / Meta / Re: Is it safe to share the IP address? and some other questions on: August 04, 2017, 09:33:48 AM
1. I see no reason on why someone is willing to share his IP address honestly. Everyone here appreciate their privacy and you won't find much people doing so, If you have a great amount of bitcoins etc. people could target you, better not share anything.

2. It doesn't matter from where you are posting, you should use the BBCode while posting an image and It should appear just fine, you can find it under the Italic button.
745  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Private Keys from Electrum compatibility on: August 04, 2017, 07:17:22 AM
It's not anything hard. Install Coinomi wallet on Android, add BCH there and then export the private keys from Electrum, It should show you the QRcode, scan it using Coinomi and the BCH should appear into your wallet, technically, It should take a few minutes/hours since you are basically sending from one private key (Electrum) to another (Coinomi) and then from there, you can send it to exchanges, this work just fine as I've tried it.
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cash paper wallet on: August 02, 2017, 06:02:49 PM
It's nothing hard to do really. A paper wallet simply have the private key associated with it. Use whatever BitcoinCash wallet you are using, export the private keys from it and copy them into a notepad, then print them and you are fine.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is an Alt-coin trying to profit off the Bitcoin Brand on: July 25, 2017, 07:06:32 PM
How many chances of Forking? Any rough idea if we want to know the %? Thanks.

The chances of forking are 100%. You shouldn't give it much attention though, It's going to be dumped in a matter of seconds as every BTC holder will have BCC as well and almost everyone here is with SegWit, no one is going to use that BCC.
748  Other / Meta / Re: Changing the login on: July 23, 2017, 07:50:49 AM
You must be a Donator or VIP in order to be change your username automatically (donating 10 or 50 BTC). You can try and contact theymos requesting him to change your username, but it's possible that he won't do it as he have other things to take care of.
749  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Monaco... will we get ever get a card that doesn't rely on Visa/Mastercard? on: July 22, 2017, 03:53:04 PM
The purpose from these cards is to be able to use them anywhere where Visa and MasterCard are accepted, If you want to eliminate the banks from the equation then you will have simply to use a BTM (Bitcoin ATM). We only have 1380 ATM currently (worldwide) but the charts really shows some progress over the years, doubling each year.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: July 21, 2017, 10:53:45 AM
Too bad its only for android and not for IOS. Can anybody tell me what happens exactly on the 1st of august to Iconomi, because I read it’s going to launch publicly but in what sense.

A platform was under development for a long time, the team started giving beta access to the people who requested it then gave it to everyone who participated in the ICO and now on first august, everyone will be able to register.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos progress? on: July 21, 2017, 10:15:22 AM
i can't find any information either, what are they doing now, anyone have the channel to communicate with offical?

The site contains a slack link but It's redirecting to this:

Code:
Slack invites are temporarily disabled due to the rate of phishing attacks, the Slack invites will reopen
after the fundraiser

The fundraiser finished a few days ago but we still didn't see a working slack channel yet.
752  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: July 21, 2017, 09:34:57 AM
Kraken made any announcements regarding the Bitcoincash/BitcoinABC hardfork, I know that GDAX and Coinbase won't be supporting it or treating as bitcoin at least.
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Tezos progress? on: July 21, 2017, 07:10:28 AM
I can't find much on their twitter except an announcement where they talked about collecting enough money, +200m dollar. I believe that the whitepaper was first posted on the forums like three years ago and this make the project more credible as they had time to work on it but why there is no blog posts or anything to share from their part? not even roadmap?
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: July 18, 2017, 07:54:07 AM
Ziber will distribute 10% of their tokens on Bitcoin and Ethereum holders, can ICONOMI take advantage of it?
https://ziber.io

Yes they definitely can and they probably will just like they did with Byteball, they had 9% of the whole first distribution. I believe they claimed some Stellar Lumens as well.
755  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: July 18, 2017, 07:17:12 AM
My profile showing my posts 51 and my activity 42.What would be the reason that my posts not converted in activity???Can anyone help me in this matter please.

Nothing is supposed to convert to anything. You gain posts by posting obviously as for the activity, you will gain a maximum of 14 per two weeks period. It's impossible to gain activity If you don't have enough posts. For example, If you have 30 as activity and 41 posts, the activity won't become 44, It will become 41 instead. If you had 44 posts or above, the activity will be 44. In other words, you will gain activity (with a maximum of 14 per two weeks) as long as you have the necessary post count.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [DENT] Dent: Tokenizing and Liberating the World's Mobile Data on: July 17, 2017, 11:43:43 AM
The ICO ends in 10 days time, at this rate I don't see the team raising 150kEthers from this market, most of the recent ICOs has dumped in price when they hit the market, so for me I would rather wait till the end of the ICO and see what happens to the price when listed on exchanges

The minimum goal was 15,000 ethereum and they already reached that so the development could continue even If they don't reach the other goals they wanted to achieve, the price will definitely decrease after launch for the simple reason that there is bounty campaigns, If they don't want that, they should give the bounty participants funds a few weeks after the ICO finishes.
757  Economy / Exchanges / Bittrex: Trading USDT on: July 15, 2017, 02:04:53 PM
I just want to make sure that I'm doing this right. Will I be able to withdraw my USDT or switching them back to BTC on Bittrex? while taking in consideration that I'm under no circumstance willing to provide personal details about myself. I only have 2FA enabled and no further details were given at registration. Is that enough?
758  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hello Everyone, Need some HELP..... Moving my OLD COINS Trezor NEWB on: July 15, 2017, 01:25:58 PM
1. A brand new laptop for what? using the Trezor? that won't be necessary as you will be asked to confirm sending funds from the device itself so even If someone could have access to your computer, he won't be able to use your Trezor funds even If it's connected to the PC.

2. If it's not a public wifi then I don't see on why you shouldn't unless you have a reason to believe that you are targeted.

3-4. How long really depends on your PC hardware and internet connecetion but since your PC is old, I believe It's not going to be fast. So I suggest exporting the private keys from Bitcoin Core, importing them to Electrum (do that while being offline) then turn on your connection and send them to Trezor address.

5. Whatever fits you really, Trezor already have a Chrome extension.

6. Don't be paranoid, as long as you are not downloading random files from the internet, you have nothing to worry about.
759  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: USDT Market Cap rising? on: July 15, 2017, 12:49:00 PM
The way I see is that everyone is currently switching to tether instead of USD for fast trading and the reason they are doing that is because of 1st august, some traders have some doubts about bitcoin being able to survive etc. so they buy tether, keep them on exchanges and buy bitcoin back after the storm fast, that's not possible to do with USD as bank transfers could take some days etc. The marketcap will continue to increase as long as they add more USD to their reserve since Its backed by US dollar 1:1
760  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money 💰💰💰 on: July 15, 2017, 11:24:00 AM
Money is important because you can buy things with it. In other words, It's not important, the food you eat, the clothes you wear are important. If you have everything, why would you need money? It could make you happy in some situation but not always. If you are sick for example, no amount in the world could get your health back, If you lost your family, no money could bring them back either.

If you have your beloved ones and everything you wishes for however, then money could definitely make you happy. I also don't believe in the drugs, girls, alcohol lifestyle, If you are wishing for money to do these things then you shouldn't. The true happiness come from helping people using that money.
