I also think Martial is not Barcelona standard. Barca will probably come back in for Coutinho in the summer after failing to achieve him in the transfer window.
True, but they're desperate for a Dembele sub (and is his injury gonna be long?), as it takes two players to replace Neymar. And they're gonna make another bid for Coutinho for sure but not in the same reason as you think. Coutinho usually plays at the midfield left of a 4 3 3, not at the front wing like Martial does. We should all remember that Martial used to play as the main striker for Manchester United when Louis Van Gaal signed him, it was only when Jose Mourinho move to the club when he was pushed to the Left wing and from the way he playing there this season, he is really thriving there. Martial is a good player but not a top player! Barcelona looks very interested in Antoine Griezmann and is ready to pay the 100M rescission clause. Mourinho would also like to buy Griezmann. Surely he will leave the At. Madrid next summer. |
