@Viva! you can find the schedule of cards that were first offered to the Partner store that are to be released to the public store by looking at each cardīs swapbot. You can find the list of which cards were released to the Partner store here: http://bitcrystals.com/storeYou can see the cards marked "Partner Store" are currently only available to partners. If you click on the label, you will be taken to the corresponding swapbot where the date for public release of the card is indicated. Currently next in line after CARDAUGUR (Dec 10) is CARDASTEMA which is to be released to the public on Dec 22, followed by CARDAIRBITZ (Dec 29) and DOGECOINCARD (Jan 5). Starting in the second week of December, all cards are to be released first to the Partner store, and then either to the public or the premium store. WOW 730,000 BCY burned for November, and Spells of Genesis is not even fully launched. At this pace we should see the number of existing BCY fall considerably. Well done to the team, keep them cards coming!  Well... to be accurate, 730.300bcy burned in 35 days (26-oct to 30-nov) are minus than 522.931 bcy burned in October, 21 days (5-oct to 26-oct). Viva, the burn period for those 522.931 BCY was from SEPTEMBER 4th to October 26, therefore 52 days, not 21 days. Yes, at this rate, BCY price will rise considerably even without extra demand.
I'm not sure why the price would rise as long as EDS is selling their BCY in a swapbot instead of on an exchange. If someone wants to buy a lot of BCY, they will do so via the swapbot and not move the price at all. Without the swapbot, that buy would take place on an exchange and the market would decide how high the price should go as a result. Under these conditions, the price can fall but not rise. Nonsense. EDS have the right to sell their BCY from anywhere. And the price effect it will be the same in the medium period. In my opinion swapbots and special deal (eg. Black Fridays Deals) have less negative impact than a direct selling on poloniex. Just have a look un Poloniex-bcy trading book and do some math. The real question is: Does EDS really needs to cash out its part of Bcy now? Or not? For now bitcrystalss have very little speculative traction, we need at least one big pump to attract more traders on bcy and the spotlight of specialized news magazines and newsletters. So probably EDS have to wait some months before start selling their BCY stockpile (not only BCY earned whit crads but also the 30 million bcy reserved). Viva! |

i may sound like newbie.. but what do u mean by burning ? ....BitCrystals, tradable Counterparty assets, were issued in a limited supply of 100 000 000 units. 30% of the initial supply were kept by EverdreamSoft for promotion and development purposes, 70 000 000 BCY were allocated to the BitCrystals Token Sale. The unsold BCY from the Token Sale were burnt afterwards. BitCrystals are now traded on the blockchain and within a month after the end of the Token Sale, they became one of the top ten most traded digital assets. At the end of each month, 50% of the cards sale income in BCY are burnt and EverdreamSoft publishes a detailed report indicating their BCY incomes as well as the amount to burn. Bitcrystals for sale don't generate burn of course. It's mostely bitcrystal that were unburned.
For the rest cards sold in BTC and in BCY will result from a burn.
Subscription for free cards give people free cards but it will result with a burn at the retail value.

I mean:

Let's do an hypothesis: 1) The mean free issuance will be 600pcs for every card (accounting card already sold) 600x150 : 90.000 cards Now the total supply of BCY is about 43.500.000 that is a maximum spending power of 87.000.000bcy (because the half of the revenue stream will be burned) So the maximum median price for every card till April 2016 is: 87.000.000 / 90.000 = 966bcy That's the theory. But I think that at a certain point the price of the old blockchain card have to go down (and the price of bcy must go up, A LOT). |
