741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: September 25, 2018, 09:49:17 PM
I have read several posts on this forum where people have claimed to have invested all the money they have on Bitcoin, I also read a post where a guy claimed to have used all the $20,000 his uncle gave him to also invest in Bitcoin, some even sold their landed property. The reason for these risks and others is the firm believe that Bitcoin would be $50,000 - $100,000 by the year 2019 or thereabout.

First, I must say that I admire the courage and high risk appetite of such persons. But, I must also warn.
Yes, It is good for everyone to have high hopes for Bitcoin, and also hope it gets to 100k USD in future, but you should also consider a safety factor in anything you do including investing.

Mathematically,

DO NOT Assume,
P(Success of future term) = 1 ; and
P(Failure of future term) = 0

This implies that, you must always leave a little fraction for probability of failure which in this case is the safety factor, no matter how little the fraction may be. Simply put, you don't have absolute control of what happens to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in the future.

Invest wisely, only invest what you can afford to loose

Just a piece of advice.

What are your own suggestions?

Personally, I invest 40% of my savings in cryptocurrency. Even at this level of the market, which we see now, with a good level of knowledge of Analytics, you can multiply the funds at least 2 times. I can also share my advice: every month I withdraw 5% of all cryptocurrency in Fiat, which gives me a constant profit even when all coins fly to hell. This way to I have read in one of branches on this forum. Very useful.
742  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Identity of Satoshi Nakamoto on: September 25, 2018, 09:43:11 PM
Hal Finney is Satoshi Nakamoto. Here are my findings and explanations on to as why.

Many people speculate that either an individual no one has ever heard of or Nick Szabo created Bitcoin. One of the main priorities of Satoshi Nakamoto was to remain as anonymous as possible and he was absolutely on point with his OPSEC. If Nick Szabo created Bitcoin, he would know he’d be the first person suspected of creating Bitcoin due to his Bitgold research. Satoshi would never put himself into this position. I do think Nick Szabo is the biggest influencer of Bitcoin and without his Bitgold research, Bitcoin may have never existed. However, he is not Satoshi Nakamoto and had absolutely nothing to do with Bitcoin at any point. Now that were past why Nick Szabo is not Satoshi, let’s get onto who is.

The man that is Satoshi Nakamoto is none other than Hal Finney. The man who was the first person to work on Bitcoin besides Satoshi and received the first ever Bitcoin transaction. While this will always be speculation, there is honestly no doubt in my mind, and it will probably leave not much doubt in your mind either.

Let’s start with the obvious.

Satoshi Nakamoto created the Bitcointalk Forum in December of 2009. Hal had been helping Satoshi with Bitcoin since January of 2009 (as emails indicate). Hal Finney registered on the Bitcointalk forum in November 2010. A full year after the creation of the forum. Why would Bitcoins biggest supporter, Hal Finney, wait one full year after the forum was created to register on it? Also, he registered two weeks before Satoshi Nakamotos final post on the forum. Coincidence? I doubt it. He knew he was retiring the Satoshi account and would no longer work on the project due to being diagnosed with ALS in October 2009. Yes, he was diagnosed with ALS two months before Satoshi disappeared.

Another interesting point some need to consider is that all timestamps on the forum point to Satoshi being a man in the western part of the United States in either California, Oregon, or Nevada. Hal Finney was in California. Which brings me to my next point. There was only one man in California named Satoshi Nakamoto. This man lived two streets over from Hal Finney. Let that sink in for a second. No, this man had absolutely nothing to do with the creation of Bitcoin. He’s not a computer programmer in any way. I don’t even believe Hal Finney and Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto even met. Hal Finney saw that Satoshi Nakamotos house was being foreclosed two streets away and thought it would be the ultimate symbol to the Bitcoin project and an example of banks mistreating people. A problem Bitcoin can solve. That, and he had a cool name.

Another point to be made here and another piece of compelling evidence is that Satoshi Nakamoto presumably mined blocks 1-77 of Bitcoin, Hal mined block 78, and Satoshi mined blocks 79-125. Hal claims to have mined Block 78 but not blocks 72-77. However, blocks 72-78 were more than likely (in my opinion, 95%) mined on the same extraNonce slope by the same person. If you do not know what an extraNonce slope is, please click the link below for reference:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2346992.0

People will always point to the email conversations between Satoshi Nakamoto and Hal Finney in January 2009 and onwards. Those mean absolutely nothing. Hal Finney was a very intelligent man and thought literally every detail about his project through. He was more than likely scared of past digital currency founders and operators getting arrested without technically breaking the law. Please google Liberty Dollar and/or Liberty Currency. This and Hal thought Bitcoin would succeed more so without a face and creator. Although I think it more has to do with the legal aspect. So Hal knew he had to have a fictional character create Bitcoin to avoid any issues. Now why Email himself? Easy. 1) He knew he would be one of the first people suspected of creating Bitcoin and wanted an Alibi. 2) He probably eventually wanted to work on the project himself and retire Satoshi. Mostly, #1. And no, E-Mailing himself does not mean he had multiple personality disorder in any way. It just means he carefully planned his alibi from the start of the project.

Another point is Hal Finney received the first ever Bitcoin Transaction. This is not hard evidence by any means but if I’m working on a project like Bitcoin, I’m sending myself the first ever transaction to see if it works.

This one is purely speculation but I thought I’d add it in. Hal and Satoshi both had @gmx email addresses as one of the emails they used. Not a super common email service (at least to my knowledge).

Another piece, Hal Finney Article on Double Spending:

http://nakamotoinstitute.org/detecting-double-spending/

There you have my findings and thoughts on Hal Finney being Satoshi Nakamoto. This is obviously only speculation on my part but there is not much doubt in my own mind that Hal and Satoshi are the same person.

Hal Finney created Bitcoin.

I will be creating a video on this, basically saying what I have said in this post. I will post the link in the first post when I do make it.

Interesting thoughts, but I think that doesn't make much sense. That will give us the knowledge of the name of the Creator? Of course, this is interesting from the point of view of studying personality. Such people as Steve Jobs are always interested in their history of formation, but the practical benefits for bitcoin owners, as well as the entire blockchain technology in General, are useless information. The network has a lot of investigations and guesses about who created bitcoin, but I think that the truth we will not know. Where is the proof?
743  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 25, 2018, 09:37:56 PM
Many believed that the inventor of Bitcoin wants to remain anonymous to avoid legal consequences as what happened during 2007 about E-Gold, one of the first digital money (Bernard, 2017). On the other hand, I think it would be better if the founder of Bitcoin will reveal his identity since many countries recognized the essence of this cryptocurrency.

If this might happen, it will contribute for more development of digital currency and regulations in Bitcoin procedures. Also, the acknowledgement must be given for the person who invented the most efficient digital currency in our society.

What are your thoughts?

There are people who prefer to stay in the shade for more productive work, as well as for their safety. And I support this position. Can you imagine how a person's life will change if the public finds out that he is the Creator of bitcoin? This is a constant life under the lenses of cameras and news portals (which are very fond of coming up with something that is not really)
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: September 25, 2018, 09:29:07 PM
Today as we modernize some of the aspects in the economy like in the production wherein pneumatic machinery are being introduce. Thus, innovation has already prove its efficiency in the production which lowered the production cost. In the areas of transportation, there are cars also being introduced that run by a battery and efficient also and economy in terms of expenses maintenance compared to gasoline powered cars. Other than that there are already other inventions that promote the comfort of living in life. Thus, digital currency is another innovations. Could you consider bitcoin as the new innovations for fiat money? The answer will be used in my research term paper for the adaptation of unified digital currency that could be used by the people around the world.

In General, of course cryptocurrency and bitcoin itself is a huge step forward in the development of the financial industry. But there is one key difference: solar panels and other similar innovations do not use oil or gas for their work. They are completely Autonomous from their old predecessors. And bitcoin, in turn, is tied to the cost of Fiat money and thus depends on them directly. Perhaps in the future the situation will change, but so far it is not quite the development in the usual sense of the word.
745  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and is limit, why will use it? on: September 25, 2018, 08:57:50 PM
More or less 21M in total circulation but more than 17 million already mined. I'm not really sure what do you mean by used in economy. But bitcoin can be used as currency or it can act as cross-border payment as well. If people around Asia or Africa prefer to used bitcoin as remittances then it will be a good boost to their economy specially if countries have billions of USD coming from remittances alone.
It's not about which countries use bitcoin and how much turnover of this cryptocurrency they have at the moment. If you lose your private wallet key, your coins will disappear forever. And at some point it may happen that the number of coins in the world will be very low and thus cause an economic crisis in the field of cryptocurrency. Of course, there are a huge number of alternative currencies and this will mitigate the situation, but theoretically this can happen.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest for Bitcoin on: September 25, 2018, 08:52:27 PM
In the cryptocurrency market, there are two types of crypto. It's Bitcoin and shitcoin. All crypto are in motion and are dominated by bitcoins. The future of bitcoin is unpredictable, you should not trust any shitcoin, including ETH. I believe Bitcoin is a bubble, but
- "Just because a market is in a bubble does not mean it's going to die." Bitcoin has been through over half a dozen big bubbles and increased in price after each one "
If you are a long-term investor, the best way to minimize risk is to invest in bitcoin. As for shitcoin, you should only invest in short term
- "You can make money trading the momentum and hype in shitcoins, just do not invest long term"

I would not say that ETH, Ripple or Stellar can be so boldly called shitcoins. If you look at the statistics of growth in a certain time period, you can easily notice that these coins develop much faster than bitcoin, and also have a higher probability of remaining on the market for a longer period than the grandfather of bitcoin. I think you're wrong here.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Memories. on: September 25, 2018, 08:45:21 PM
So I remember vividly around last year when Bitcoin was booming so much, that has been my best lived moment till date, I got a business from a random guy on Facebook, where I just had to monitor stuff for him online and give him green lights to go ahead or so ( basically I was just staring at the screen for like 3 hours or so ) daily and I was earning 15$ daily, for like 3 weeks or so I was being paid in BTC Grin this were my best days, this same guy made me know about Bitcointalk, and so I registered and was following the forum, posting regularly and reading posts I could read, joined signature campaigns and learnt many other stuff, until boom, My PC got hacked into someway somehow and I lost my Bitcointalk account, I copied my wallet seeds somewhere so I was safe, and I lost contact with my mentor guy.

Here I am trying to start from the beginning again and hoping to meet someone or group of people that'll change my life, maybe not permanently but would leave marks.

Hoping for better days ahead.

If you don't mind you could share your best memories too.

P. S: I knew about bitcoins in 2014 thought it was scam(silly me LOL) so I wasn't interested until 2017

My best memories of cryptocurrency are: once, when my finances were almost in the zero area, I was looking for an opportunity to sell shitcoins on the fork. And to my surprise, one coin made a tall pump about a few hours before I arrived. In the end, I got a very nice bonus X10 is completely random with coins, which are not collected even softcap. Here's a fun, but still very pleasant to my heart story.
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: September 25, 2018, 08:37:19 PM
Well you should always think about what to do when you buy something in the preiod of time, when this is getting hyped as hell, you bought a hyped coin others were selling it and thats the result, next time it is better to follow the market not your emotions.
This is a classic example of how not to. I have a huge number of friends who bought bitcoin at the highest positions and lost a very huge capital in just a few days. And even all my talk that it had to be done at least a month ago they were not stopped. This is what happens when you are guided by emotions, not analytical thinking.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS on: September 25, 2018, 07:30:53 PM
People go here and there spooling, spreading and propagating FUD to get on peoples emotions and to put them on PANIC MODE just so they sell their BTC, and you know what, PANIC SELLERS in these industry are LAZY, they can't and won't research and understand after lots of rise and fall in these year that the KING of all digital currencies is just going through a phase.

I personally Love PANIC SELLERS, and I hope there can be a section on these platform where they register so that people like me can contact them to buy CHEAP from they..

GRACIAS PANIC SELLERS, MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE BLESSING FUTURE MILLIONAIRES WITH YOUR COIN

Panic sellers are those people who give an opportunity to earn good money to people who very well and deeply study the Analytics of the economic environment and behavior of the market in various critical situations. At the initial stage of learning cryptocurrency and the economy as a whole, each of us was such a panic seller. That's normal. It is only strange that the man who is not doing this one year saves on the status)
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: September 12, 2018, 11:46:04 AM
There is a high probability that we can see the etherium at $ 140, but I do not think that below, otherwise it will kill the mining. Probably now is the time to invest in the ether, however it is also very risky.
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: September 12, 2018, 11:43:44 AM
If you do not want to risk that bitcoin will be the best investment at the moment. The entire market of altcoins now involves very high risks, even coins from the top 100.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: September 12, 2018, 11:41:54 AM
I believe in the cryptocurrency market and believe in its huge potential. Though now and not the best times in the market. But experienced investors understand that this is only a correction of the market, which is a consequence of the significant growth of the market before!  But I think that many newcomers now need support. I wish us all patience! Soon we will see a new wave of growth, there is very little!!! For those who are quite sad reminded that " those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»

Every one of us finds comfort on early investors who made a huge profit when the market is in bearish, and this is how you actually make money from cryptocurrency it's like forex, you buy low then sell high, you enter at the right time and also exit at the right time thats how early investors made their money.

I will wait until the end of the year and decide what to do with my portfolio. I do not want to sell in loss, but perhaps there will be no choice.

The most difficult thing here is to exit in time. Now it's too late to exit, we have to wait. Nobody wants to buy high and to sell low. It remains either to go out to Fiat and fix losses, or wait, or start trading.
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First bounty Experience till 10000$ on: September 12, 2018, 11:30:42 AM
Friends, you are really lucky. I am an ico project that I joined in 18 years. I didn't get a one-time $2,600 for all the tasks I did. I think this year's ico project is not as good as last year. Maybe it's because of the market. But I will always insist.

In 2017 it was easier to make money, the crypto currency was just beginning to get its popularity, investors were not afraid to invest, there was a constant flow of money to the crypto market. Time of constant growth.
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in Ethereum on: September 12, 2018, 11:26:33 AM
It seems to me that Ethereum does not have competitors yet. Although, on the other hand .. these competitors can appear very quickly. Just now it's my choice for investing.

Well, there's plenty of competitors to be true, there are many decent blockchains out, like NEO, which is paying GAS. ETH does not pay you anything for the hodl.
However,  still the Ethereum project have the best team out there, it is the 2nd crypto on the market and there are hundreds of projects on ERC20.

And only now it keeps the etherium afloat. If in the near future the price falls even lower, the miners will stop mining blocks, because this will be unprofitable. The etherium has problems with the speed of transactions, and if these problems do not resolve in the near future, the etherium may lose its place in the top.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All alt coin become shit coins. on: September 12, 2018, 11:23:44 AM
it's hard to see the potential of the coins because we are in a bear market and people prefer to sell their coins that hold it you can see this in the ICO's business right now, only few ICO are generating funds or even reaching their softcap people are very careful investing right now maybe we can see a good results after the September 30 decision.,

And what is going to happen on September, 30th? SEC is going to reject yet another application for an ETF approval? It will be the 10th, if I remember correctly. So the chances of approving it are miserable and that rejection is likely already priced in if there had been anything at all to price in.

It is interesting that while most if not all altcoins are in a free fall currently, bitcoin itself remains rock-solid. It means that the crash in the altcoin market we are experiencing right now may be pretty much orchestrated and artificial. I don't think it takes a lot of money to crash major altcoins like litecoin, ethereum, etc, as compared to what it takes to manipulate bitcoin prices. And the rest of coins will quickly follow on their own.

I also think that the drop in prices on the altcoins market is artificial. If this is so, then it is vitally important for us to wait this period and not make mistakes. I'm afraid that on the 30th day after the failure, the whole market will fly even lower. I think then there will be no choice but to sell.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 11, 2018, 09:17:44 AM
To sell your Etherium only makes sense if you are sure that the price will fall even lower and will not recover. Otherwise, it is better to wait until the price increases. As practice shows after the fall, there is always growth.
758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market has recovered? on: September 11, 2018, 09:14:43 AM
I am sure that it is still far from full recovery. I do not even know how long the current correction may last, because in the past it could take a very long time. In any case, there is no point in guessing, we need to continue to work.
759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency should I buy now? on: September 11, 2018, 09:11:11 AM
I do not know how long the ether correction will last, but I do not believe that this is the end. The ethereum passed through more difficult times, so I consider it is a good investment.
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of crypto money on: September 11, 2018, 09:09:23 AM
Before talking about the future of crypto currency, we need to go through all the manipulation and correction of the market. Because the prices for crypto-currencies are not stable and often fall, many projects are forced to close, which slows the development of the crypto industry.
