I don't know if the people putting up faucet's with adult advertisement and really graphic ones realise that some under age kids do collect on the faucets.

What is worst is that the admin of Faucetbox do accept those faucets and even though they had repeated reorts of it but a faucet with normal ad on it if a popup apears bam they are gone from the list and neeed to wait an eternity to be put back on

We don't accept faucets with porn. Faucet owners usually put them after we approve them. I've went through the reports today and removed few faucets with porn ads today. We have scripts that try to automatically detect and take down faucets with bad ads, but they're not perfect Smiley. Also we have hundreds of submissions, mostly spam/malware/popups/porn, so it takes us a long time to review faucets.

If I don't care about being on the faucet list but I just want a faucet and adult material on there will it still work?

Yes.

And for people asking about withdrawing only some funds: just use the API and send them out just as you'd send out coins as reward.

What script do you use to get payments for Dogecoin?

What do you mean?
743  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 23, 2015, 09:33:54 PM
My faucet is here: http://makingmoneyhoney.com/index.php

It keeps getting de-listed from the list, with the error saying it's broken.

I tried it out and it worked, so I submitted it, got it re-listed, and it was listed as broken again today. I haven't been changing anything with it, so what would cause it to keep getting de-listed?

Either unstable hosting or too small hosting plan probably. Use something like pingdom.com (with keyword check) to monitor your sites.
744  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 23, 2015, 06:16:57 PM
I got this reply when sending an application to faucet box, " your faucet seem to be broken please check your hosting and configuration file" the fauset seem to be working, I am new to this, can anyone help me?
this is the faucet I created http://dogenetai.netai.net/

I am using ooowebhost the free hosting service, free? yes as I said before "just started" wanna see how things go, thanks for the help.

Try submitting again. Maybe when the Admin was reviewing your site he found something broken and rejected your application
Downtimes and errors always happens with a free Hosting Wink

Random short downtimes are usually the reason working faucets get rejected as broken.

If you set it up to 2 minutes you will have to wait whole 3 minutes between dispenses.

Yup, I've tested and I confirm that's true. I'll fix it later.

EDIT:

I released new faucet script version. I hope it'll only fix bugs... Smiley

Next week I plan build 3+ more faucet for btc and can do more also for Doge thise we dont need any payout we can do straight.

What i want to know i already got good faucets will i need to wait more then few hrs to get accepted or i go strsight to xapo only payout and use my way t and xapo to announcce it that will be ur lost ot the % deposit

took u 14 days to accept my ltc faucet then turned around accepted alot same day put them new mine was never tagged new
wow i think my % was paid also

We're really slow at approving now. Too many new faucets, we don't really have time to go through the list regulary. However:

1. we earn next to nothing from the deposit fee, so that's not our loss actually... the deposit fee is only for covering network fees.
2. the approval is only needed to be listed on our Faucets list, nothing more. Faucet is fully working with or without it. So it kinda doesn't make sense to switch to xapo only because you didn't get approved... Xapo won't list you anywhere.
3. the "New" tag is based on the first approval date

ok how do they get hot faucet status Huh??

by offering big payout at begining?

and wow what if they get accepted in list after 1 day and takes us more the 1 week to get it

yes i know how u accept in list i saw it few faucet asked aftet got accepted in list mine pending holding my tail

"Hot" means that this faucet had many users in last 2 days. We give "Hot" tag to 5% (or 10%, I don't really remember now Tongue) most popular faucets. We don't accept faucet just because someone asks. Usually someone asks, we go through the whole list and then we reply to everyone that their faucet got approval.

Can anyone say what is happening with my Faucet ??
http://googlefaucet.com  http://faucetcloud.com
Claims becomes 10x faster. I think bot attack because normal banner views, almost normal analytics report but Crazy claims

Please reply fast anyone

Change your captcha to reCaptcha. If payments drop, that was a bot probably. If not, then who knows, maybe you've just got popular among adblockers?
748  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 20, 2015, 01:43:20 PM
Don't ask why it adds 1 minute. There is a bug in FB script nobody has discovered yet Wink

Code:
until: '+'+(minutes*60+61)-60+'s',

Can't you just do someth8ing like that to fix it?

I think we should ask the admin of why this is Happenning ??
He should solve this

I didn't check that, but I believe that it rounds up the remaining time up to whole minutes. So if there're 5 minutes and 1 second left, it'll show that there're 6 minutes left.

pleas chek no paymet after 48 hours  Sad

We're processing payments right now, sorry for the delay.

Can you add the transaction id + value amount to the payouts made?

What do you mean exactly? Are you asking about page for users to check their address stats or the owner's dashboard?

please add more alt wallet i want create paycoin

It was discussed already, we won't implement Paycoin anytime in near future.

Cool...
This is one my favorite places to look for bitcoin or other altcoin
But this is not the rotator. What if made rotator faucetnya so when we play is not too much tab space consuming

What about https://scanthebox.com?

FaucetBOX will be down for maintenance today.
753  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 15, 2015, 09:53:30 PM
hi, could you lower minimum deposit for Litecoin?

It's too high compared to DOGE, 50 DOGE = 0.003 LTC and current minimum deposit is 0.1 LTC, i lost 0.03 LTC because of minimum deposit. Thank you.

Minimum deposit is based on currency fee, not on it's value.

This page is temporarily disabled, sorry.

i got this when i wanted to check the show status

please fix it

Don't you think we did that on purpose Smiley? No point in asking us to enable it, it wouldn't speed up anything. However it's enabled now.
754  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 13, 2015, 10:26:49 AM
wondering why it takes so long for a faucet to be listed when it has been approved.  Yes for sure gonna say maybe broken no payment in last 5hrs since it is not listed it is a LTC faucet.  I was about to make few more BTC ones but now makes me wonder if it takes a week to be on the lit I may look on other places

Possibly broken means no payouts in last 6 hours. We use that to automatically find broken faucets and take it down from the list. You don't need an approval for your faucet to work. Please mind that our Faucets list can't be your main source of traffic. You have to advertise it yourself too or you won't last too long...

Could you please Start Approving Faucets. Mine 1 is pending from more than 30 hours

Be patient, we have other things to do like making sure the FaucetBOX.com API works good Smiley. It can take up to a week. And the same thing I've told yvesp110: Faucets list can't be your main source of traffic. It's only a nice addition, but won't be nearly enough.

I was checking my google analytics and I noticed that a good amount of visits are coming from some "weird" browsers.
Can it be connected with bots?! Anybody has experience with it?

Those browsers are:
YaBrowser (about 7% of the visits)
MRCHROME (2%)
Maxthon (0.6%)
and very small percentage of Iron, YA, HggH PhantomJS Screenshoter, Nichrome

I never saw any of them in Google Analytics stats for other "normal" websites...
Should I be concerned and try to block them?

YaBrowser, MRCHROME, Maxthon, Iron, Ya and Nichrome most likely aren't bots.
PhantomJS is some kind of a bot, but not necessarily a faucet bot, rather some kind of a crawler.
756  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 11, 2015, 10:56:23 AM
But I have another issue. Sometimes (when under heavy load) FaucetBox (CloudFlare) returns 522 (timeout) but actually sends the amount. Sometimes it returns 522 and does not send the amount. Since in this situation I'm not deduction the amount a user having 10000 satoshi could wait when FaucetBox become sluggish (this happens 5-10 times a day for 2-3 minutes) and try to cashout multiple times taking 20~100k.

I suppose I'll have to disable the cashout for 5 minutes for all users once I get error.

I confirm that we're experiencing random locks in database and we still haven't found the cause. However we're working on that and I expect to have it fixed by the end of next week.

maybe this could give some ideas regarding bot spotting
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2717599/defeating-a-poker-bot

just please dont kill if not Smiley

Well, there are some things that we could do, but to be honest there's no way to prevent faucet bots entirely, so it's all about making it as hard as possible. We'll research on that more when we deal with some more important issues, like preventing random people from changing the threshold and performance issues Smiley
757  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 11, 2015, 09:33:33 AM
You approved my faucet - I edited the description from 'TEST' to a tagline that looked a bit catchier and it went back to pending.

Now my faucet has been rejected for 'annoying ads'. I literally purchased the same script being run on about 6+ faucets currently.

What sort of flip-flopping is this?

Anyway, I don't believe anybody will waste his time to cheat 4~5 step faucet to get average ~300 satoshi per captcha  Shocked

I believe it depends on the captcha Smiley. Allegedly there are bots for SolveMedia and Are you a Human captchas, so that plus broken timer means that cheating can be fully automated and that would be quite profitable.
759  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 09, 2015, 10:46:47 PM
I'm using custom script and have no issues with CloudFlare (free plan). Maybe the only thing I can't detect are the socks proxies.

I must say that I didn't really check thoroughly, but I see that it's possible to bypass CloudFlare and connect to your server directly and it responds with your faucet. That possibly means that one can simply connect directly to your server, spoof the CF-Connecting-IP header and bypass your timer without using any proxies. Unless you're checking whether the real socket-level connecting ip address (aka REMOTE_ADDR in PHP) matches CloudFlare and only use CF-Connecting-IP then. I recommend you double-checking that Smiley
760  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: March 09, 2015, 05:16:22 PM
@NeedIfFindIt - many thanks for the fix

I have Cloudflare disabled on my cpanel because I experienced some errors in he past (like "resource limit exceeded").
I will re-enable it to see if I get that error again.
Note: Cloudflare I'm getting is the "lite" version. Do I need to apply for a paid subscription ?

Don't use CloudFlare for a faucet if you don't know what you're doing. You'll end up either with a timer shared between many users or users bypassing your timer entirely.
