747  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hacking The KNC Firmware: Overclocking on: April 24, 2014, 12:47:15 AM
Hi, I would like to buy a used KNC Jupiter 680GHs (4 modules), how can I check if all cores are operating? What should I ask the seller for verify that everything is working well?

Thanks in advance W_M

ask him to send you a screenshot of bertmod showing all 4 mods...you'll see if all cores are on or not...course he could just grab one off the net...good luck

or maybe ask him to take a picture with cell phone with name on it? if you really don't trust him...make sure to escrow too Smiley

So it turns out soniq is either incompetent or a scammer.

Let's take a look at the facts:

1) Bought one share for 1.33 BTC.
Turns out the BTC was not changed immediately to USD and therefore I was 0.34 BTC behind when the miner was bought, since bitcoin had decreased in value. No proof shown of payment dates.
-> Incompetent management decision, insufficient transparency, lack of communication.

2) All of a sudden we are informed that the hosting was paid upfront for 17 BTC in total.
No proof of hosting payments.
-> Incompetent management decision, insufficient transparency, lack of communication.

3) Miners are hosting half speed for several days, all of them, for no apparent reason.
No proof of actual performance issues.
-> Incompetent management decision, insufficient transparency, lack of communication.

4) Miner three appears to be returned for repair. No proof shown.
-> Insufficient transparency, lack of communication.

5) A vote turns out in favor of selling all miners, although most comments on the forum are against selling the miners. No comments on the 17 BTC paid upfront for the hosting fee.
No proof shown of the actual voting.
-> Incompetent management decision, insufficient transparency, lack of communication.

6) All miners are turned of before any receive an actual bid. Miners 2,4,5 might be sold.
Still no proof shown of an actual buyer for any of the miners.
Miners are not turned back on.
-> Incompetent management decision, insufficient transparency, lack of communication.

Although I might have missed a few 'management decisions',  I expect those will not change my main conclusion.
All these management decisions show clear signs of incompetence.
However, all these decisions in sequence, nobody is this incompetent.

Draw your own conclusions.

I should have known not to trust someone with a name that sounds like a nineties video game hero who steals all coins he can grab.

749  Economy / Auctions / Re: 4 Terraminer IV- Hashing 1.6 TH/s - Auction Starts 8 BTC - In Hand on: April 13, 2014, 10:12:19 PM
I have agreed with padrino to sell 2 x miners @ 6 btc each.

The deal will be done on a 50/50 basis with 6btc paid up front and the remaining btc paid on delivery.

Payment address for the transaction -

I give him credit for taking it this far, he's dedicated in his attempts to commit fraud..

so he takes our money, claims the units are his...trys to sell them after he recouped his money and is now just leaving them offline cause nobody bought them...ya i think i'll seek legal action now too
751  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 12, 2014, 04:00:48 PM
Okay, even I'm annoyed now. I have supported you all the time soniq but you won't make it easy for the people to trust you any more.

- Two of five miners are sold
What happens to the others? Will they go back online soon?

- No news about TM #3
What is the status here? Is it at CT? Did they say almost ANYTHING to you what will happen next? What will you do when you get #3 back? Will it return to colo for mining?

What about the overpaid BTC? Will you at least pay back THIS money???

Please soniq talk to us! Tell us what you're going to do! Tell us what you do at this moment! People invested lots of money and trusted you und it really seems like LittleD will have the right to say "I told you all!!".
Don't make this happen!

actually only 1 sold...i backed out...and the other person sounded like he was getting cold feet too
752  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 11, 2014, 08:16:36 PM
so you didn't sell'em all...but they are still offline...do you enjoy screwing us?

754  Economy / Auctions / Re: 4 Terraminer IV- Hashing 1.6 TH/s - Auction Starts 8 BTC - In Hand on: April 10, 2014, 10:28:39 PM
Miner #4 @ 8 btc
755  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 09, 2014, 11:31:20 PM
Soniq, why not sell on ebay??

They are going for a much higher price
http://www.ebay.ca/sch/Computer-Components-Parts-/175673/i.html?_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&LH_Sold=1&_nkw=terraminer

$7000, $10000....
I sold my old Avalon ASIC on there and had no issues

Because I cannot receive payment in BTC

Are you willing to just give the mining to the GB share holders ...? Maybe some one trustworthy can take over the miner in each GB Huh

The price for the auction  in BTC is lower than these Terraminers are selling on ebay.  If anyone thinks managing these GB's are easy, then  buy one and sell shares.

IF you can find someone that every member unanimously  votes for I would hand this over in an instant. But getting a 100% unanimous vote will be just about impossible and improbable, because a lot of the members are willing to sell at this point.  And  I would not transfer this GB  to anyone else unless there was a 100% consensus.

i don't see why your having such a hard time with this...your the one that is making it complaicated with the math stuff in your other KB GB...the only reason this is hard...not really hard but time consuming...is the hardware isn't the best...but i'm sure they will come out with better FW to fix it...eventually...Well I'd take over GB #4 or #5 heck idk...i'm in both i think...considering i still could just buy it for 8 btc but rather not cause of the escrow deal...I have trust but i doubt the other ppl in GB would go 100% on it...cause everyone would want to run it lol...oh well

ya it may be lower but your not offering the buyer any protection from shipping damages...and we all know that it happens alot..i've had packages lost/damage both sending n receiving...

and finally soniq..ya didn't answer my ? bout what happens if ya don't sell it in auction? and how would there be tax? you would have cash for btc....you haven't gained anything from it since its the shareholders money right?

you just buy the btc then Tongue setup a coinbase account...cause the way the auction going i doubt anyone will buy them...which is good cause i really don't think anyone but you wants to sell...and what happens if nobody buys them off auction?
757  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 09, 2014, 02:19:01 AM
well if he gona sell the unit...might as well try n buy it hehe..then i guess that means i kinda get a discounted price...probably just gona resell it anyways
758  Economy / Auctions / Re: 4 Terraminer IV- Hashing 1.6 TH/s - Auction Starts 8 BTC - In Hand on: April 09, 2014, 02:17:28 AM
Miner #5 @ 6.75

759  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: April 07, 2014, 03:42:46 AM
i voted NO... GB #5 2shares BUT he is NOT going to do anything unless we file a lawsuit againts him
