741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [HELP] I mistaken "odds" with "chance" on safedice -- 3.7BTC loss from this on: May 06, 2017, 10:51:23 AM
Please see:

Will safedice help me? I always play 1.5-3x odds on this site, never such high odds. I accidentally mistaken chance for odds, I double every loss on 2.2% chance (45x odds) instead of playing 2.2x game odds

Will safedice help me in this situation it is obvious it was a big mistake ... $5700 is a lot of money to me, i was not going to play in such risky way, i hope they can help me

what do you think.... will safe dice help me Huh Huh
I think you won't get your money back. There are some reasons, first, you have decided to gamble your money, it means you already know about the risk you can lose your money. Second, This is your own fault, you were betting on wrong winning chance. You will get a refund if this is site's fault (i.e You lost because of the bug on that site).
742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: May 04, 2017, 01:22:59 PM
Day trading is for trader who can't wait or don't have patience, and I'm do a day trading, about the profit long term trading can give your more profit but you should research first about the altcoin you want to trade if you choose a wrong altcoin not a profit you get but a big loss.
Hahah your right technically when i learn how to trade now or i understand what trading it is. I start using day trader stragety but moslty of it i'm buying coins that have potentially can grow not like many shitcoins here, well i have big capital so i can earn moslty 0.05BTC - 0.1BTC a day if there's a coin that pumps and dumps (PND).

Now i hold many coins that have potential to grow like XEM (NEM) that top 8 listed coin laat month ago but now as what you see it came up to top 6.... Wow!
Wow 0.05-0.1 Bitcoin/day approx 3 Bitcoin/a month from trading is a good income for you, and like you said need a big capital to get big profit, for now I'm still learn how to get fix income from trading, day trading still my choosen.
You can't judge him can earned 3 btc in a month. He already said he will get that profit if he holds the coins which got pumped up, if not, he won't earn anything (he could loss too). Doing day trading is really risky, because you can earn profit if you have invested in some shitcoins, you won't get daily profit if you are trading with stable altcoin (XMR, ETH, DASH).
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: May 04, 2017, 01:13:34 PM
Because they are lazy to click bet manually and there are a rumor if you use dice bot your "winning chances" will be higher than manual. This is wrong.
Dice bot just makes your game more easier but not improve your chance to win.
I have said, the biggest reason why there are a lot of people using bot instead gamble it by manually because of they are usually starting from very small base bet. It doesn't worth if you gamble manually if you started from 1 or 10 satoshis, and they want always to try "new" method which will make the game more fun for them.
744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: May 04, 2017, 12:21:57 PM
The problem is not how much money you put into it, but where you put that money. I would not even consider it an investment, unless you're referring to casino bankroll.

I think this thread refer to bitcoin casino investment because it is located in the gambling discussion section. [1]I wonder why people still use their money to gamble when they can invest. [2]Everything could be started with a small amount , well I mean reasonable amount not only with few satoshi investment of course
[1] Most of people are always want easy and fast money, that is the biggest reason why they prefer to gamble their money instead invest it on gamblng sites. They don't have any patience to wait their money grow while they have invested their money.
[2] The reasonable amount imo is 0.01 btc and they must keep re-investing this amount until they are really have "reasonable amount"
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have 0.5 BTC how to make money in Investment. on: May 03, 2017, 01:52:39 PM
That's a big amount of money if you will try to use it in trading, but if you will just invest it in a casino I believe you need to wait for a longer time before you will be able to meet your goal. Investing in gambling sites are profitable but not lucrative when you do not have decent money to put it.
Think of that, you better increase that amount in trading then invest in casinos afterwards.
Even though it will took long time to reach his goal, but it's quite safer than he using it for trading. The only risk while you invested your money in gambling site is you will lose your investment if the site closed before you withdraw your money (rarely if you have invested in reputable sites) and your investment amount decreased because of whale's winnings. We know if trading has higher risk than investing, he also said if he doesn't have any spare time to do trading.

747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade shitcoins? on: May 01, 2017, 11:39:55 AM
Yes, i had (at least 1 coin). I bought DIEM coin in poloniex for 4 satoshis each and i have already collected around 1 million DIEM coins for some months. I thought this coin will be rises because they are listed on popular exchange site, the highest peak this coin ever reached was @11 satoshis and i still hold it because it think it could rises more. But unfortunately for me, poloniex decided to delist this coin because of low volume and i was planning to sell it @1 satoshi, but what's next? No one buy this coin until it got delisted by poloniex and i lost my investment.
748  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin: Best investment in 2017? on: May 01, 2017, 11:30:26 AM
Best investment is to buy Bitcoin and hold it or use the bought Bitcoins to invest in a casino bankroll. For me this is the best investment, but maybe there is an ocult investment only few people know and are earning a lot of money from it and won't tell others about the method. There is always something like this happening, if many people know about the method, the method becomes worthless for all.
[1]Casino bank roll is not good in my mid, [2]Just with a little amount and we can't get a decent profit from there. I think vslice has offered best dividends for the investors rather than casino bank roll.
[3]Bitcoin alredy being best investment for us, just hold them and try to wait until the price goes higher than before. With lower risk and it's really good investment in my mind.
[1] To be honest, they are good. There are a lot of people making profit from investing their money on gambling sites. Why are they want to risk their money on gambling sites? Because they think gambling sites/casino will always win because there is house edge, which will make people lose in long run.
[2] No matter what kind of investment you want, you can't make decent profit if you only invested small amount. If you want earn decent profit, you must risk decent money too. The only ways how to earn decent money from small amount are chasing lottery/jackpot in some casinos or investing in some shitcoin on yobit and hope they will get crazy pump.
[3] Remember when bitcoin has reached $1200 in 2013 and then falling down to $300 in 2015? People were thought same like you say now.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If today was your last day, would you gamble everything? on: May 01, 2017, 10:54:27 AM
I wouldn't be able to gamble everything, because it would take me much more than one day to liquidate all of it.
The answer is yes, I'd bet all my money because I wouldn't care about it anymore. Maybe If I had kids I'd look at it differently.

LOL yeah everything changes when you have a family of your own. You're not only thinking of yourself that way rather, you're thinking about your family's future and how you can make it better even if it's your last day. Definitely gambling is too much of a risk if you have a family.

Why we need to think about our family when considering gambling term? I agree that, we all have a strong relationships with our families but gambling is totally different kind of behavior or earning method for young folks. A lot of people can found themselves in that 'depends' situation without their gambling knowledge.
Because when you lose your money in gambling site, you will be frustated and don't know how to recover it. When you already have your own family, you will think if would be better if you use that money for your family, such like going travelling, taking some recreation, or doing anything else with your family.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people use dice bot? on: May 01, 2017, 10:03:29 AM
Most of the people who uses a dice bot are using it to maintain a betting strategy.
But I just can not understand why do they do it, as all of the strategies will lead to a lose at the long run because the house has a rake over their users.

They do it because there is no other way.  Even if they do not maintain their strategy, they will lead to losing if they continue to gamble.  They use bot to make their betting easy for them.  Just setting up the  bot and leave it as is, and it will continue to bet according to your setup.  They can even leave it while running if they intend to use all their bankroll fund in playing.
Exactly but they dont even know that it is only a losing move .[1]if they can pass through on it the first time sure the second time the seed will be adjusted it is all running by a system .[2]If you want to win take time to do manually ,people want easy work and easy money .
[1] No, you must read how provably fair works. The site doesn't need to adjust their system to prevent for each of your strategy.
[2] There are a lot of people who lost because they were gamble by manually. Your winning chance doesn't increased even if you are betting by manually or through dice bot.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling vs Betting on: April 30, 2017, 07:51:04 AM
I don't get it. betting is gambling also because you're risking money on it. so it's supposed to be part of gambling also . but if you're talking about gambes in gambling. betting is more profitable than gambling . because im into sports betting and I assure you that I getting profit from it.
Of course it is betting is considered as gambling also risking both money to trying win on sports betting when you do actually bets we always see's the ratio odds of each team who had [1]the smallest one we place on it sports betting could be more profitable we can assured and assumed what ever it takes.

I strongly disagree, this is so confusing to be honest. Betting is more profitable in gambling? Oh really? How come? gambling and betting is just the same, because if you are gambling, then of course you are making a bet in order to win, and if you are not going to bet, then obviously it is not gambling. [2]Maybe what you are trying to say is the DICE and the Sports "Betting", that sports betting is more profitable that playing DICE (correct me if I'm wrong)
[1] Small odds in sport betting doesn't guarantee you will win on that match. I used to lose my money while i place on 1.1x odds in sport betting.
[2] Yes, he was tried to say that. When you are gamble your money on DICE games, it's depends from your luck because it's luck based games. But in sport betting, you are also need analyze before you place your bet (You still need luck on this).
752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 27, 2017, 01:44:40 PM
Small investments make sense only if you do it every now and then. Like to make an investment every fortnightly or monthly of some fixed amount.. May be its just 0.01BTC or 0.05BTC. Just one time investment of that much amount will not be any useful for the future.

If you think that making few dollars of 0.01 btc or 0.05 btc might be useful in the future then go for it. You should get better profit in using those to trade rather than let it sit in a gambling site. You wont be making much money and even if you do then you will need to wait quite some time before you actually made it
Perhaps, He will hold bitcoin until bitcoin prices soar. so do not look it in the form of money, remember when bitcoin price $ 220, 0.01btc only $ 2.2  now you can see the current price. small or big isnt a problem as long you can accept it and the investment have big potential.
Actually what johnwest said even though you just invested small amount of btc, you must keep investing your money in every month with fix amount. Investing only 0.01 btc and wait for bitcoin price rises is not a good idea. When bitcoin price still $220? It was around 2 years ago and you only "profited" $11.2 (1$13.2-$2.2), this amount doesn't worth with the time which you have wasted in 2 years
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have found a long term and strong dice strategy. on: April 26, 2017, 10:43:10 PM
~

thats the problem, you need at least 1,000,000 rolls before you know what a strategy can do

Wait, you said you want a bot.
[1]You made a 1 000 000 rolls with your hands?

Also, strategies are fun to make but it's all about luck again Smiley
[1] Of course no, he said he needs to test any kind of strategies in 1 million bets and see how's that going. So, he will try it with dice bot (Make 1 million bets by manually is really insane).
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer 100% or 150% Welcome bonus ? on: April 26, 2017, 01:31:15 PM
Do you prefer 100% or 150% Welcome bonus on the casinos ?
I choose none, because we know it needs some high requirements before we can withdraw the bonuses. I prefer to join and participate in some competitions or contest rather than those welcome bonuses.
755  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is the best bitcoin casino? on: April 26, 2017, 01:17:56 PM
Please share which casino accepts Bitcoins?
There are many trusted and old casinos that are using bitcoin as a bet. But why not try new cainos like I am promoting the AdmiralSpot. Here, there are many various game so you would not be bored. Yet, there are promos here like if you deposit 0.5 bitcoin you could play with 1 bitcoin.
There is no special thing with by deposit 0.5 btc you could play with 1 btc (if you ever tried on other site, this is called "deposit bonus"). When people already feel "comfort" with some old gambling site, they won't move to a new gambling site unless they are having a lot/big promotion and unique games.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you trust Poloniex? on: April 25, 2017, 01:42:20 PM
No, I don't trust them. Every company is susceptible to be hacked, and Poloniex exchange is no exception. I trust my cold storage better than their servers constantly attacked/ddsoed by hackers.

One thing is certain, if they get compromised, they won't refund your coins. It has happened to other bigger exchanges and it can happen again. I would not use any exchange as a secure wallet.
Poloniex was got hacked and busoni/tristan has repaid full from his own money (he has deducted from all people's balance first, but he recorded and repaid in full from the fees which poloniex got). Why we can't trust them then?
Quote
I take full responsibility for this and am committed to repaying the debt of BTC. The exchange funds are 12.3% short. Because there is not enough BTC to cover everyone's balances, all balances will temporarily be deducted by 12.3%. Please understand that this is an absolute necessity--if I did not make this adjustment, people would most likely withdraw all their BTC as soon as possible in order to make sure they weren't left in that remaining 12.3%. Aside from the obvious drawback of most of the BTC being taken out of the exchange, this would not be fair--some people would get all of their money right away, and a few would get none right away.

The amount deducted from everyone's balances will be recorded, and funds raised from exchange fees, as well as donations from my own pocket (which is not very deep, I'm afraid), will be distributed regularly to all users who have had BTC deducted. Exchange fees will be raised to expedite the recovery of the debt. 1.5% has been suggested by many people, but I will take input on this. Exchange fees will not be raised.

If I had the money to cover the entire debt right now, I would cover it in a heartbeat. I simply don't, and I can't just pull it out of thin air.

757  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest Dice win? on: April 25, 2017, 12:57:51 PM
Hello everyone!

I have just started using dice for the first time in my life and I'm shocked how good it is! What's your biggest win on Dice in one day and in general? I bet on OneHash.com and today I have started using dice and made 0,125 profit in 2 hours. What do you think of OneHash dice, do you think that it can be profitable in a long run for a user, are there better dice than this one?

https://www.onehash.com/dice
My biggest win on dice was 5.5 ETH from 1.5 ETH. I know it's not much, but still something for me. In general, i never win a lot because when i added all my winning and losses, i still got -ve profit. You are lucky because you have made good profit from the first time you tried dice games, but don't too addicted with that.
758  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 25, 2017, 12:52:09 PM
Freebitco.in dice system is provably fair and they have high house edge of 5%. So it's very difficult to win much from their multiply game. It depends on your luck.

And we give back about 1% of that 5% house edge in the form of bonuses too!

No one is interested in those bonuses instead you reduce your house edge and make the game more fair for people to consider playing. 5% is very high and you guys simply making a lot of money from these poor gamblers. Any good reason why such a high house edge is maintaining even after many people complain?
I agree 5% for the houseedge is very high and isnt fair for the gamblers , Better to reduce the bonuses and try to put a low houseedge. It is more efficient than having a lot of bonuses in the lottery. The gamblers must be happy with that.
I never think if that's not fair for gamblers. When they want to gamble their money on freebitcoin, they must know first the risk when they are playing on high house edge. Freebitcoin is known as faucet site, not a gambling site, why should they lower their house edge? Their main income also isn't from gambling too.

760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: April 24, 2017, 08:18:47 AM
Yes, small investments do make sense. The thing is with small investments you will get small returns. For beginners investing in 0.01 btc is a good sum. I agree that everyone has to start from somewhere.
experience that earned from small investment will turned big after learning, if you choose better and make good judgement
you will able to grow your small start, don't look for quick one rather to find more deep knowledge that will give you stable
one,.

Small investment are the best for newcomers. Newcomers should not invest big in the start and use small investment to gain experience.  [1]Once they get skill and experience, they can better invest good and [2]earn a lot without loss.
[1]Investment doesn't need any skill, what skill do you need to invest your money? When you are investing your money, all you need only the news about the place where you will invest your money. Investment is not like trading or skilled based game in gambling.
[2]Investment also has the risk, you must risk something if you want earn something. When whales come and won a lot of money, your investment will decreased, or when the site closed/run away, you will lose your investment.
