741  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi I'm New Here, hope I'm welcomed. on: March 17, 2024, 04:37:32 PM
Welcome to this amazing forum, on this forum you'll learn a lot of Bitcoin. Just follow the advice of PX-Z by reading the rules of the forum as that would be helpful for you. I would recommend you to read as many topics in Bitcoin discussion board as possible and also try to read some topics in speculation board.

Other than that I would recommend you to read topics in Meta board if you want to learn more about the forum, and finally I recommend you to be present on Beginners & Help board to learn basics about Bitcoin. The forum is more than enough for you to learn about Bitcoin, just read the posts carefully and ask questions when you don't understand something. Best of luck!
742  Other / Meta / Re: How to handle a non sense Red trust by "trusted" member? on: March 17, 2024, 04:32:47 PM
I think the red trust has been removed from your profile and the issue is solved. Why don't you consider locking this thread as that would be much helpful.

It's good to see that you have taken first step in removing your feedback that's how a mature person would do, and I really appreciate that.

I suggest you to lock the thread in order to stop those extra posts which may not make much sense or may not be any way contributive. Thank you.
743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop gambling if you don’t have free time to do it on: March 17, 2024, 12:51:53 PM
This is an advice based on my experience, don’t ever insert gambling on your schedule if you really don’t have free time for it because it will always result to disaster in both gambling and your life.
Good advice, I believe you're right when someone doesn't have enough free time then that person should not gamble at all. That person may do some bets with lowest amount possible but not more than that. It's better to have some free time and do some research when you're betting, I mostly prefer sports book and in that research is most important.

I often give enough time to research before placing any bets. I avoid bets on daily basis, I bet on very few event once in a week or twice to thrice in a month. That's why I don't get addicted to gambling and I do it with full responsibility.

Even with that approach I face some losses which's part of gambling but I feel happy when most of my bets are winning ones. I don't consider gambling as a way to earn but a way to have some fun and that's why I don't bet on daily bases.
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10x vs 15x Margin Trade Question on: March 17, 2024, 11:48:08 AM
If I trade 10x vs. 15x will the 10x make more profit than the 15x if I TP @5% or should it be the same amount of profit either 10x or 15x if I set the TP @5% ? For some reason if seems like Im getting less profit per trade when I just upped my margin from 10x to 15x. And I should ask if it is less profit using 15x, why is that? Thanks
I have used margin trading in past but I don't use it anymore. It's some kind of borrow and repay game. Let's say if you go with 10x margin trade and you put $100 then you virtually have $1000 worth of a trade not $100 worth of a trade. Now if you take profit at 5% then you'll make around 5% profit at $1000 level not at $100 level. So in simple words you'll have around 10x more profit with 10x margin then with a spot trading. However, in margin trading you'll have to repay the borrowed amount plus some interest or fee.

So by keeping that in mind, 15x margin trade will give you virtual value of $1500, however it's a little bit more risky for you because the change of getting liquidated is higher with 15x margin trade than with 10x one. However, it's not correct that you'll have less profits at 5% take profit with 15x margin trade than with a 10x one. If the fees and interest rate of 15x margin is higher than that can happen otherwise that won't happen.
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypo Casino Virtual Scatch Offs - Idea on: March 17, 2024, 11:38:17 AM
I have used Scratch off games on crypto casinos many times in past and I can say from my experience that those games are not fun at all. I find crash games much more enjoyable than those scratch off games,  they have no element of fun for me.

I even find dice more entertaining than those games, I'm not sure about other preference but for me those type of games are literally a waste of time. Offline scratch offs are still somewhat enjoyable even if you don't win but online ones aren't much entertaining.
746  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC go back to $40K - $30K range before a bigger rally? on: March 16, 2024, 06:56:04 PM
No, I don't think that we may see Bitcoin at $40k or $30k again anytime soon. I expect this correction to go as low as $60 at most, after that it will start pumping again and we may soon see it crossing it's current ATH.

Bitcoin as we know always does price correction after pumping hugely, not only Bitcoin but all crypto-currencies does that. Bitcoin is less volatile as compare to many other crypto-currencies but when it starts going up then it will have to come down. But, after that it will slowly start moving up again.
747  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Play a browser game Earn Bitcoin/Etherum and MMOrpg stuff on: March 16, 2024, 09:14:56 AM
I'm interested in testing your game, I really like those browser based games and if there's an earning element with such games then that's another perk. I'll send you a PM so you can tell me in detail about the game. But, I suggest you to share name of your game in this announcement thread.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Scratch Offs on: March 16, 2024, 08:38:25 AM
I used to buy those scratch tickets but I have never got lucky with those. I have hardly made any money with those tickets, most of those were losses and nothing else. But, it was a fun activity for me and that's why I always used to spend some money on such scratch tickets.

If I remember correctly, the highest I made with a cheap ticket was around $0.8, but the feeling was still good because I thought that at least I have won a ticket. I don't spend any money on scratch tickets anymore because I don't enjoy such type of luck testing anymore.
749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the dip people!!! Could be last chance for prices this low on: March 15, 2024, 03:16:19 PM
So anyone who has money sitting on the sidelines and who wants to buy Bitcoin, today is gonna likely be one of the lowest days we're gonna see for at least the next 18-24 months, and maybe forever! Buy!
We can't say anything yet, crypto market is highly unpredictable and anything can happen anytime. I know that it's hard to believe that Bitcoin may fall back to $50k or below it but such things happened in past many times and they may repeat themselves once again.

I know it's a good opportunity to purchase Bitcoin in present times but if it goes down again then many people will regret that why have they bought Bitcoin at $65k or $60k. In my point of view the ones who are thinking about investing in it should use dip buying strategy in market correction times.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 03:10:16 PM
The main target of this proposed bill is to crackdown those influencers with high volume of followers that encouraging their followers to gamble.
That's a good thing because such influencers often promote shady casinos in order to earn revenue. I have personally seen many influencers who were promoting 1xBit to their followers and were saying good things about that casino. We on Bitcointalk know that how shady that casino is and if your words are true then government might also gather such information and try their best to stop such influencers.

Some governments see gambling promotions not appropriate or not appropriate to under 18 in the public and discourage the promotion.
That's in fact another great step taken by a government to protect the underage from gambling because underage people can get highly addicted to gambling and they can't discriminate between good and bad. If governments are against gambling promotion then why do they allow gambling casinos to continue their service in the area?

That's something strange, if they are against gambling promotion then they should be against casinos as well. In OP's country gambling casinos are functioning without any issue but the ones who say anything about betting may face issues. Isn't that very strange.
751  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 15, 2024, 12:03:10 PM
That's a quite strange law because they are allowing gambling casinos and outlets to work without any restriction but when someone talks about it they will get penalized. If they really don't like gambling then they should take proper actions against the casinos and those lotto outlets, however, i they don't want to do that then they should allow citizens to talk about betting.

754  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Faketoshi saga is now coming to a close... on: March 15, 2024, 09:06:44 AM
Finally that fake Satoshi get his answer from a reputed judge. Craig Wright isn't Satoshi and most of us knew that from the start, he was just claiming to be Satoshi because he wanted to have people's attention.

Fame and attention led him to claim that he created Bitcoin. But, lies can't stand for long and his lies took away everything from his. He has not only lost the case but also lost his reputation throughout all those years.
755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might reach $100k before halviing. What is your exit strategy? on: March 15, 2024, 08:25:04 AM
What is your exit strategy  with bitcoin once it reaches $100k?
It's March 15 and we are already seeing a price correction but if this goes more downward then it might be hard for Bitcoin to reach $100k before the halving event. I think it will be hard for Bitcoin to reach even $90k value before halving. My strategy will always be to sell Bitcoin when I see huge ups and buy it during dips.

In case if Bitcoin reaches $100k per coin then I may sell some Bitcoin at such high rates after observing the market, and then when a price correction takes place, I will accumulate Bitcoin with the money I earned by selling some of it at high rates.
756  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can someone please help with most successful technical indicators? on: March 14, 2024, 06:33:34 PM
If you really want to have a proper indicator then try to master a single indicator fully and that single indicator will be enough for you. You may go with basic indicators like MA, RSI, Bollinger bands, and MACD.
Those are more than enough for you because most high level traders use those indicators and they have good winning rates.

Practice an indicator in theory for sometime and when you're fully okay with it then start trading with it. Try to use stop-loss and take profit with during trades by following any of the indicators, the ones gives you more take profit is enough for you to have some profit overtime.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving don't make wealth on: March 14, 2024, 11:29:55 AM
You need to save up some money that will be sufficient for the investment, and if you look at the people who hold coins today, a lot of them invest with their savings funds. Saving money is also another way to invest in bitcoin.
I highly agree with you, most of those who saved money are now big Bitcoin investors. The ones who found out about Bitcoin started investing money on it after saving a certain amount for sometime. Those are known as DIP buyers, they always looked for good dips and then they accumulated Bitcoin during those dips. They never invested their monthly salaries or followed a DCA method, they just invested the money they have saved for the sake of investing, and trust me most of them are financially stable now.

I personally know someone who saved money and waited for bear market, and when bear market for intensity that person invested the money into some altcoins which have gained more than 2x to 4x value for him even in start of the bull run. So that's why I believe saving is the best way for those who are thinking about investing in crypto currencies, and such people will always get some good profits in the end if they invest their savings in good projects, especially those who invest in Bitcoin will end up with good profits.
758  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kiosk took $40K in Aug-Sept 2022 on: March 14, 2024, 11:21:21 AM
Now they still can’t let ne into my wallet? Or did I even have a bit coin wallet? But still have paper receipts from Kiosk where I deposited the cash in Chico, Ca

That's a procedure named as KYC and most sites need KYC verification from the customers. Just send them your KYC information if you don't hesitate much about privacy and after checking your documents and verifying those, they might end up releasing your funds.

Bitcoin depot is the largest operator of crypto ATMs, and if you have your funds with them then you can get those funds by sending them your documents. As far as I believe, they are reliable but to be honest I have never tried them myself. So do what they asked for and they might unfreeze your funds.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Soo, bitcoin is now over 70K on: March 14, 2024, 11:12:04 AM
Yes, Bitcoin is over $70k, and even over $72k to be precise. You have lost your holdings because you kept it in a custodial wallet of an exchange which is not recommended at all. If you have withdrawn your Bitcoin at right time in your own personal wallets then now you would be enjoying $12k, if you had hold it till this day. But, well we always learn lessons from our mistakes and I believe you also learnt your lesson which is to never trust a custodial wallet with your money.
760  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A curious Newbie!! on: March 14, 2024, 11:07:42 AM
Thank you. Understood...Would you be kind to give me some merit as a welcome bonus? Ahaha. Appreciate it 😆
Don't ask others for merits that's not the way for it, just be a good member and make good posts. If you continue asking for merits then trust me you'll never get any merits.

There are some good members and merit sources you may help you with merits after reviewing your posts, but there's no one who would send you any merits as a welcome bonus.

I hope you won't beg for merits after reading this post and I also believe if you really want to be among those top merit earners then you'll start making good posts. Best of luck!
