741  Economy / Economics / Re: IF USDT would collapse what do you think will happen to the BTC price? on: December 28, 2020, 08:05:32 AM
If USDT collapsed it will bring new opportunities to those that want to buy bitcoin at a cheaper rate and that will make bitcoin recovers, whatever comes bitcoin will recover because of adopters, many will be waiting for some opportunity to buy  Wink Wink
Have seen this USDT collapse speculation throughout the year but no one has explain what they expect or mean with USDT collapse. USDT is still the most used currency around the world, among countries even in Europe. Highly used in Cryptocurrency, Gold exchange, Reward and purchase in sport (especially sport), trade of crude oil even in money laundering. As long as these continues the type of collapse for other currency cant happen to USDT
742  Economy / Economics / Re: China Economy Forecasted to Surpass US Economy by 2028 on: December 28, 2020, 07:59:21 AM
This competition may go on for America-China, but statistics has always shown China leading. The economy already has over 1 billion population to take care as against over 300 million population of America. For the past 4 years that US has relax the funding and involvement in international projects, China has done more. They got more reserve of Cryptocurrency, Gold and even US currency.
743  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cash out or HODL - Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2020, 02:36:35 PM
There should be a strategy for selling, laddering out a percentage the way you will also in the bear market. Its a way to teach oneself how to manage greed. Some thought we had the ATH 2 hrs apart and the loss the $2k margin, same will happen when it will dump within 2 hrs. You can sell all your bitcoin but a good percentage on every price and wait for correction to pick more up.
744  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: December 27, 2020, 02:28:25 PM
As people thought the pump is getting weak the retail investors thought they need to push more higher. I think they consider the extent of price the coin might drop from there and thats the reason for the little push to stay close to $20k, either below or above when the correction comes. It is totally different from previous because on the high size of fund, institutions involved and the crazy scarcity created.
745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Current market conditions on: December 27, 2020, 02:17:42 PM
Personally I am surprised with the market turnaround today as against the usual trend. Generally this month has been good for cryptocurrency and this is a pointer to next year being a more profitable year with a mix of declination. As it is now, would you suggest that we will end the year in green or we have more pull backs.?
Share your opinions.

For me, we are gonna end this year in green and probably, more green to come before the middle of next year.. Btc is now more popular than ever.
From October, bitcoin made 2x of its price and keep going up. Analyst believe the retail investors had taken over from the institutional investors and they keep buying but more on exchanges than the OTC  which give any immediate price movement. However, most purchase is kept on exchanges which I dont know what the plan will be for that. Some believe the purchase is getting weak with size purchase and could end in push back very soon
746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: December 26, 2020, 09:05:12 AM
I believe some Altcoins will have their time but it would be like deceiving oneself to think all these Altcoins would pump, for me I am distancing myself from most if these 2017/2018 because there are a lot of bag holders looking for people to dump on. If you are looking to make money from Altcoins, look for those that got listed after September dump, then you should be fine
This September or previous?
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Current market conditions on: December 26, 2020, 09:02:52 AM
My skeptic mind is very active. If bitcoin is enjoying the liquidity, ethereum also should. There is no point Bitcoin can be sold that Ethereum cant,  OTC or elsewhere,Grayscale is the only institution that had such a great interest. I know the expected price of bitcoin demands a very big strategy that will need hoarding and institutional attraction. The institution must have been convinced with a profit in mind, the fund been risk is damn high and how exchanges saw such a withdrawal to be transfer through OTC
748  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with BTC? on: December 26, 2020, 06:45:19 AM
Two mains reasons for this demand.
1) Institutions like Grayscale, Microstrategy, PayPal, Skybridge. They are buying huge quantity of Bitcoin every single day for a long term hold, which is increasing the demand and it's reducing the supply.
Although they buy through OTC, but still it's creates a lot of demand in the market.  Through which price is increasing slowly & steadily.

2) Big Institutions Investors are showing Massive interest in Bitcoin like Paul trudor Jones / Micheal saylor , Raul pao..  Which also pumping the price every day.
The news are very interesting but have they acquired enough to be bigger than existing whales. They came when more than 70% of the coin had been mine and a large portion still left in wallets unmoved for many years. Are they capable to prevent next bear market ? What is the strategy for holding such a huge coin? Has exchanges lost so much in the size of bitcoin held for many years? I also wonder what is the future of altcoin with such devotion to bitcoin? Altcoin maximalists are losing their mind to the take over of the market by bitcoin
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whales or institutes do not stop their bitcoin buying on: December 25, 2020, 10:36:44 PM
volume on major exchanges drop ALOT today.  Curious what people think is the reason.....

Also you are right institutions are buying .......seems hodl s are selling though

https://blockcast.cc/news/what-you-should-know-about-bitcoins-growing-1000-club/

It's Christmas so most of the traders probably aren't active. They won't be that active during the holidays,I guess.
Anyways, moving more BTC to cold wallets is a good sign, unless the US government decides to ban cold wallets(or creates some kind of KYC for cold wallet owners),which is very unlikely to happen.
I'm not sure about Coinbase letting lots of people and companies buy BTC using their platforms and moving that BTC outside the Coinbase wallets.I assume that Coinbase makes money from the buying fees, but they are greedy,so they might impose new rules to force their users to keep more BTC inside their Coinbase wallets.

The opinion formed of a quiet market seem not to be the same, Bitcoin made a new ATH today, when I compare the most part of the year, nothing looks different from the present holiday, this is internet, things cant be too quiet because of holiday any more. What is Coinbase etc benefit from restricting withdrawal after they got their transaction fee?
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP and The SEC on: December 25, 2020, 09:12:25 PM
Short term doesn’t look good for xrp. Exchanges are starting to delist it for US residents.
have not held XRP once in my 5 years in cryptocurrency, have struggled with the understanding of the project, recently in the bear market I read of traders reaction to the high trade. It was thought to a form of bitcoin accumulation of the team while it slip from the second on the coinmarketcap to forth. Athough the team promise to fight back but the news of delisting will haunt the coin for long time into new year and I feel XRP might struggle to defend itself in this market
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] ⚡AMEPAY- Crypto ⇌ Retail. IEO in BKEX + Listing in Bithumb Global 🔥 on: December 25, 2020, 09:01:54 PM
The token has 10% already distributed among over 25k holder before IEO, how do u plan to manage the token so the price will be conserved to an extent in few week after listing? The project is engaged in staking at the moment, do we have details of the amount of coins staked at the moment? Any roadmap for the next 12 -24 months?
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best undervalue projects with not so big cap on: December 24, 2020, 02:45:05 PM
Hi, which are the undervalue projects (with not so big cap) in your opinion .I am asking for good coins not about some shit ones
I could suggest you some like CHILIZ, THE GRAPH, or BAT but I will not suggest you buy the coins when the coins have pumped. It looks like the market is still in the correction due to the SEC vs ripple's case.
Those coins are good but the graph looks still over valued. it may go even deeper than the current rate. It's better to stick into another coin.
Chiliz is a better coin if low cap market is considered. The graph and Bat have a market more than $300 million, Graph has more than 50% dilution which gives a possibility of higher market cap as coin get diluted. Consider low cap coin on top exchanges like Binance, Gate or Huobi, they have capacity to handle large sales without dumping the value. Do your own research and invest on your capacity for risk
753  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] keyTango- The easiest way to get started with DeFi {43000$} on: December 24, 2020, 02:28:24 PM
Can the bounty manager make email hidden please?
754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non successful projects find it hard to pay on: December 24, 2020, 02:21:20 PM
Usually the project maker will limit the participants, so this will certainly minimize losses from the provision of funds that will be distributed to bounty hunters who have met the requirements according to the desired criteria.
Sometimes I think project should make bounty campaign strategic and reward it according, like you said, a moderate budget can deal with the outcome of ICO. More also is the form of distribution, staggered distribution in 3-6month can manage the price of the token. Requesting higher number of social media followers and higher rank member that can carry obvious signature
755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of the project depends on the project developer himself! on: December 23, 2020, 08:42:21 PM
Am always of the opinion that team or developers are the most important factor of a project. There is no reason for project that does not serve a purpose or meet a need but when a developer see a need a build a solution to fit it. There are many exchange why is binance doing better, same with Satoshi, Vitalik, Justin, Brian armstrong; they make most of the decisions that determine the success of the project. Whenever I see project with developer that has/have strong track record, I know he has better chances to succeed.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: December 23, 2020, 08:20:18 PM
Here is a thread I created about the SEC filing charges against Ripple: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5302872.0

Even though Ripple will fight the allegations and charges in Court what is clear is that this will take a long time before any resolution is found and with an appeal pending immediately regardless of who wins after the verdict is announced, it will take even longer for things to become clear.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/12/23/cryptocurrency-xrp-plunges-25percent-after-sec-files-lawsuit-against-ripple.html
https://www.ibtimes.com/why-sec-suing-ripple-what-know-about-xrp-lawsuit-3108368
The allegation is likely true and I saw it coming since last year. They might struggle with this case in court and at the end loss, they are likely buy time with the court case to accrue some fund as exit scam. All through last year, everyone was complaining of the high transaction of ripple, some with the thought of dumping the market to accrue bitcoin but we got a different story now
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: exchanges that support low amount of conversion on: December 22, 2020, 07:01:36 PM
According to binance. That's a very low amount. It's roughly around $4 which is about 0.0007 ETH. The minimum order amount for ETH is 0.01 ETH and there is no BCH/ETH trading pair.
But you can easily convert the amount to BNB which is their native coin. The minimum order amount for BNB is 0.1 BNB
https://www.binance.com/en/trade-rule

Unfortunately it is on a wallet not exchange, which makes it more difficult. In binance you cant purchase other coin at coin value less than 10 dollar. I would have advice that and trade from small amount.
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Becareful at this BITCOIN price point on: December 22, 2020, 06:54:09 PM
You're one of those people who are always afraid. When Bitcoin was trading for 5000 early this year you were probably thinking that it could revisit 1000 and recommending people to wait and see. Now that it's above 20 thousand you're also telling people to wait and see. For some people, like you OP, there will never be a right moment.

If it would fall from here back to 15 thousand would you buy? Probably not. You'd think that it's the end of the bull market and that we should wait for the bottom Wink
That is something that all traders need to confront at some point, which is the fear of being wrong, I will save you the time as a trader you are going to make mistakes, your predictions are going to wrong and you are going to lose money, that is the price you have to pay to be part of the market, but if you can obtain profits then all of that does not matter and you need to enter the market whenever your system tells you even if at the time you think it does not make a lot of sense.
You are not asking the right question to make a decision in this market, 'will I be making profit if I buy at this price probably in the1 year? I will say, Yes. I may not be able to predict the size of profit but will be worth the investment. For the fear of dump, no one can pick the depth and the height, Just a considerable price of entry and exit. Bitcoin has the shortest period of ROI if the investment is in the right time like now.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can you use the same address to send AND recieve Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2020, 05:03:10 PM
All the story behind the transaction looks suspicious to me, I cant rule out possibility of trying to scam you, they could be trying to lure you into it. I guess they are trying to introduce you to the gamble site but were surprised you got so much information to address the process of transaction. After 3 weeks the transaction rectify by who? we dont usually delayed such transaction again so be careful out there. I wish you provide the name of the casino
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tunnel (TNI) the liquidity protocol connecting DeFi projects on: December 22, 2020, 04:52:43 PM
At this stage in Defi we all know it is very dangerous to invest a project with no information of the team, nothing about the team on the website. Detailed information to give confidence to investors. There is liquidity but it is not good to put trust in the private investors alone. What other utility does the token serve asides Defi?
