If there's anyone with chips looking to jump ship, I'm still offering assembly service on K16s. You'll have to PM me for availability, though, as I'm also trying two draw down my excess component inventory.

If I ever get my refund back before they go bankrupt or skip town, I will be needing to re-deploy those funds somewhere, what are your offers?

these look great!  Grin

one day I will have enough BTC to buy one  Cheesy

Hey miffman, I know that shipping is a killer for you Sad  Best I can do is offer to refund some if it's cheaper when I go to mail it (or the btc/usd rate is higher).  This turned out to be the case for some of the outside US ones I sent last time around so I was able to refund a little bit to some people.

How much does he need?

Terrahash has an article about their refund policy on Coindesk.com
CoinDesk has written an article about TerraHash's scam like refund policy switcheroo and refusing customers requests for a refund at http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-asic-builder-terrahash-changes-refund-policy-and-refuses-customer/

It's really good to see terra FINALLY actually getting involved in the BKK thread, but that is not the same as giving a useful contribution.

Its a nice show thou  Grin

5 posts in 100+ pages?

While persuading BkkCoins to release the source code and board designs, we promised to help with the programming side of the project (both the firmware and the cgminer driver). None of these is possible until the hardware is a little stable. So there is nothing we can add to the project at this moment.

so if there is nothing for you to do, then what have you been doing besides evading our questions?

How about securing board manufacturing resources for a quick turn around once the design is ready, sourcing the 50 something components (the PIC in the circuit is back ordered in large quantities with deliver dates running into August, but we already have enough for 2,000 boards, thanks to our efforts), making the necessary modifications in the case and getting them manufactured, getting new sample circuits manufactured, assembling new sample circuits, trying to get the new sample circuit hashing, getting the PayPal issue resolved, trying to get a merchant account that will process transactions larger than 5000 USD, securing additional chips to make sure all the orders ship in first batch, replying to over 400 tickets... to name a few.

you could have posted this 90 pages ago and you wouldnt be seeing all of requesting refunds, you might have even kept my business and saved yourself from all of my fud posts, btw where is my refund?

Not pointing fingers, just saying Smiley

Is it bad to be burning midnight oil?

so, how about those refunds?

Dude you have a serious problem, you have been calling TH a scam from day 2,
You have a link in your signature about it.
You are officially a stalker of Terrahash, you feel like you have to warn the world about them and they have yet to get to the date that they said they would have chips or ship items. You never even gave them a chance and you call them scam when they have shown chip orders, prototype boards, prototype cases?

Let's break this down a bit.

They have shown chip orders:
They stated that they purchased a total of 40,000 chips but so far no proof beyond the original 10,000 that they purchased in may, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198489.msg2511675#msg2511675

People have repeatedly asked them to show proof of other chip orders, why would they not show this to appease the gigantic shit storm that is going on right now?

They have prototype boards:
They have boards that they will most likely have to throw away because they jumped the gun and bought who knows how many boards BEFORE BKK was done with his prototype.

They have prototype cases:
They have a picture of exactly 1 prototype that they might have to change because they jumped the gun on their design BEFORE BKK was done with his prototype. That by the way they are selling for $1200.00 that other folks have stated they can build for $200.00.

The very first post in this thread states that they have purchased 20,000 chips. So far no proof that they purchased more than 10,000.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198489.msg2064806#msg2064806
Quote
We have ordered 20,000 chips from Avalon. We will be ordering Klondike boards, as soon as the design is ready. We are in process of ordering all the other components. Once we have everything, we will assemble the boards and sell them.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=198489.msg2682939#msg2682939
TerraHash states that they will not be taking pre-orders, roughly 1 month later they turn around and open up sales, stating that folks that signed up early on will get 24 hours or so to purchase and then everybody else will be able to. The day of the pre-order everybody is able to purchase. Later that day people are confused by the order numbers that they have jumping around in ways that do not make sense, TerraHash publicly states that they do not know how their commerce cart works, A forum member helps out by pointing to woocomerce's help guide on how there ordering system works and why the numbers are not in normal primary key order. We then find out later that more than likely they opened up pre-orders because their $100,000+ order with cloudhashing went wrong.

People have been asking about their team, TerraHash states they will be posting soon about their team members. Have you seen it, please post it if you have, because it must be hidden.

They changed their refund policy and decided it was best not to tell anyone.

They are refusing refunds based upon their changed refund policy, completely disregarding the FTC law that states you MUST promptly refund anyone in full for any reason anytime prior to you shipping.

They stated last week or so that they where going to upload a video, they can't even make a video and upload it.

Misrepresented their business address, had privacy protection on their website, the list just goes on and on and on and on.

They are continuously making promises that they are breaking.

What koolaid are you drinking man!
753  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 10, 2013, 03:08:38 AM
Forgot to ask, why are you refusing refunds for people that paid in BTC?

Terrahash I will buy the order that BTCEIC cancelled.

His order was so huge I don't know if I can scrape together the cash,

but put me down to cover his huge order of 3 K16s.

And yes btceic before you go look what I ordered, I also ordered what you ordered.

Difference is I have 300Gh on order with KNC and BFL.

You however have no hardware on order with anyone. Just 38GH of shares of other peoples rigs.

Now shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Does this make you feel better, that you spend more money then other people?

Dude you have a serious problem, you have been calling TH a scam from day 2,

People on butterflylabs.com placed their order a YEAR ago and still have not received their order, why aren't you yelling scam and posting stuff about them in your signature? Why? Because you risked $750 and lost your stomach for the risk and now you want to tell the world.

Guess what you will get your refund. Then can you go away?

Tell you what,
Send me $1500 in BTC (about 20 BTC) right now and I will have terrahash give you my tiny little pussy sized order of 3 K16's and I will stop, I'll even take that link out of my sig and erase the blog.

I think that's fair, you obviously have something to prove by defending them, so do it, man up, pay me double to go away.

This should mean that not only are the files deleted but should not be recoverable in case someone were to steal my hard drive.  As always though, if anyone has any suggestions on a more secure method I would love to hear it.

Could you put those files on a volatile drive or only in ram instead of to disk?

How are you guys still behind them?

They pop in for 10 minutes onto the forums that house (most likely) their entire crop of customers, answer no real questions, provide nothing of value and then just... poof... leave again.
