I believe anything can happen to crypto, but to achieve 1000% ROI cannot be done in one night, even if there is, then be prepared to feel the pain of falling from a high place, success in crypto requires a fairly long process and not short.

Investing in crypto-currencies with hope to make 1000% ROI in short period of time is ridiculous, we all know that.
People who believe in fast and high ROI will probably invest money in some shady project and lose money. I agree
with you Inanilujimi big things don't happen over night, we need to be patient and wait for them to happen.
World is in a specific situation right now, things around us are happening for the first time. I think its better
to wait for this to end, to check what officials will do and than to make conclusions about what is waiting for us
in the near future.
742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 19, 2020, 04:32:53 PM
Take me for your example, I didn't stop buying in the last 2 years, or more! When ever I have some money
I invest them in crypto-currencies. It's not easy, my portfolio is going up and down as the prices do, but I do
not complain, I try to accumulate more. More then once I said crypto-currencies are the future, I strongly believe
in that, and there's no way I'm backing out for any reason!
My paycheck is coming soon, with some part that left for me I will buy some crypto-currencies again!
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOBIT scam peoples in X100 ICO on: April 19, 2020, 11:13:37 AM
Y'all need to learn how to stay off this exchange. It has done more harm than any good in this industry. I don't know why some folks still trust this site and even invest over there. The saddest thing is that they have one of the poorest customer support in this industry. Place a request/call and it will never be answered Sad.

The problem in this world is that there is no cure for stupidity and greed. That is why we come across such topics quiet frequently in this forum.

It is a known scam exchange but stil you will hear people investing in projects by that exchange.

Yobit exist for years, and I am sure that some people there make profit! There's no other explanation
why Yobit exchange is lasting so long! People should do a research before they invest money, is it Yobit
coin or any other project from this or other exchanges.
Pakhitheboss I agree with you that there's no cure for stupidity and greediness, but people will learn
on one way or another after they lose a lot of money! I think I think the blame is on people here, never
invest before you check all about it, read WP, check background, and what experts have to say!
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where could i learn about trading? on: April 19, 2020, 06:40:42 AM
I like to read about trading strategies, I watch trading related videos. I learned a lot, but I still feel that I'm
somewhere at the beginning. Learning about trading is never ending activity, all the time there is something new,
or something old in a new way, better way.
Anyone can learn for free these days, but to get experience you need to spend money! I don't like to spend
too much, that is my problem, I don't like to risk much and I always miss some important moment because
of that fear. I guess that with trading not everyone can make profit!
745  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 18, 2020, 03:47:57 PM
There is a tendency that some of them would engage to online gambling if they are really that addicted into the activity but some would be forced to resist their urge to play because there are things which should be prioritized at this moment such as things regarding daily needs, given that there are shortage wuth the supplies in some places, so they would more likely choose between dying out of starvation- worst if their government is not effective to aid such situation. Some will just jave no choice but not to, since there are companies who are not paying their employees due to the policy of "no work, no pay".

Bottomline is that, those gambling addicts who still have the privilege to do their own 'thing' will just continue, and those who are less privileged will be forced to stop until this problem is solved but if they are really that addicted, they would again engage to the same activity once situations are back to what is 'normal'.

Eclipse26 you are right, everything depends on individual situation, while some will find alternative in
online gambling or some private gambling, others will stay without options and they will be forced to
stop gambling, which is a good thing for addicts I guess.
Aside from addicts, I think that many regular gamblers will choose online gambling option. And after
this ends I assume that many will stay with online gambling, just as I did.
746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: April 18, 2020, 02:07:31 PM
I didn't have very high wins in my gambling history. I don't bet much, and therefore I don't win much. What
is interesting for me is when I win some high odd, like odds higher than 3, or combined odds higher than 10.
And this happens for me to win nice amount, for me that is around $20, with my couple dollar bets. And when
I win I am happy for the money, but even happier because I hit some higher odds!
747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The next monster on: April 18, 2020, 11:23:02 AM
Candidly speaking, the next monster still remains the current monster called Bitcoin. What on earth is to be a monster aside the one we have already had from the beginning? Binance won't be and can't be a monster because it is centralized, even the suggested altcoins BT OP still have a long way to  go before be recognize in the society, so, let's be more realistic here. Bitcoin is decentralized and nothing centralized can be term monster except otherwise.

Xcana you are right, Bitcoin is the monster for all time, but we can't deny the existence of all other good
projects. I like decentralized projects and I need to mention one project it's DigiByte, one of the old and
real decentralized projects, many people say it's undervalued for years and that this projects is one of
the best ones for investing right now.
I will check Null's project, I heard about it, but I didn't do any deeper look into this project. Now when
we are in quarantine I have time for that!
748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be real projects on: April 18, 2020, 09:20:45 AM

Almost all new Masternode coins, too good to be real, they almost always do the same strategy, create a coin, do a presale, thousand dollars for an MN, after that list into an exchange, price keep for a few days, then after weeks, Crash, No use case, No products, only ROI of a new coin.

Now when you said it like that I realize the same, there are many new Masternode coins! And it's true,
all of them have the same strategy and many of them offer high returns in short period of time. I think
that last for some time already, we can say it's a trend!
But among all them with fake promises and weak teams, is there some new and good Masternode coin
in your opinion?! Some Masternode project worth attention and research?
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 18, 2020, 07:44:46 AM
It looks there is a problem with understanding how Bitcoin works. Bitcoin is volatile and the price changes all the time, sometimes it grows, sometimes it falls. To expect that price will move according to our wishes and always have a positive trend is illusion. Forget about that.

A common mistake on most people and specially to those who do just recently jumped into this market where they do believe that they can make easy money or do hope that the price could shoot up continously
without even thinking that this isnt how the market works. We cant really say that BTC might not able to reach its previous ATH if we do try to look up on its current price then we are 200% away into that level
which we know that it isnt really that hard to reach it up but the question is, when? I cant see a reason for it to be seen on early time yet we know on what are the current situation we've been facing.

As a long-term holder I don't ask myself when we will see new ATH! It's the way I prepare myself to wait,
to not bother myself with questions nobody can give answers! I rather think about possibilities and chances,
it's how I try to find a logic. After all that I choose to believe in Bitcoin in long-term, and my believes can't be
shaken easily!
Where is positive prediction about Bitcoin future, there is couple negative ones. Stop reading predictions if
they bother you and make you feel bad, focus on how to contribute and how to help Bitcoin in mass adoption.
I think all of us help in some way, and if we continue to do that like until now we will see Bitcoin making new ATH.
750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 17, 2020, 07:41:15 PM
Telegram is anonymous, and where is anonymity you can count there are scammers too. But if you are
an educated person you will not fall on the first message you receive. Scammers send messages, create
groups, but if you don't respond them, if you don't join suspicious groups, you will never be a victim of a
scammer on telegram!
751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: April 17, 2020, 06:28:24 PM
You can start from Bitcoin, I think you can still see people talking how Bitcoin is a scam. After Bitcoin I think
you will see it's a case with almost all crypto-currencies. I tried to find some info about which coin is accused
or marked as a scam most times, but I couldn't find anything.
When I joined this forum I use to read old topic. I remember reading how Ethereum is a big scam in the
beginning, find some topics from 2014-2015 about Ethereum and you will see that for yourself.
752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto trading bots - 3commas, cryptohopper. on: April 17, 2020, 05:16:29 PM
Two things bother me, first is capital needed for trading bot to run, and set up of trading bot! As I read, and what
concerns me is these two things, is it really hard to set up a trading bot to make profit, and do you really need a lot
of capital for trading bot setting? Is this two correlated? One depends from other?
I still didn't try trading bot, I think about it when I see some topic about it, but yet I didn't dare try. Probably info
I find about it is confusing for me and I am not sure to try or not.
753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 17, 2020, 03:31:02 PM
I guess we can compare day trading and gambling, theoretically we can compare anything we want. In this
case now, we have some similarities between day trading and gambling, but I would't say that one is like other,
even with many similarities, there are huge differences as well.
I think anyone can gamble and win, with a bit luck. Day trading require knowledge, it's not like anyone can
do it and make profit!
754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: April 17, 2020, 11:57:41 AM
Budgeting your money is best way to not lose a lot of money by controlling yourself. Once this outbreak are done many people for sure are going to the casino gambling to play because they are now break of playing due to this pandemic.

Nice tips for the casino gambling player but it is for all players even traditional or online gambling it is best to do it.
Yeah, the traffic for online gambling websites will go down after the end of pandemic. The traditional casinos will see a boom on customers if the scientists can find a cure for Coronavirus. The virus infection is highly possible on the crowded places included casinos, so limiting the entrance is possible too. Let the future bring whatever will happen.

In my case after introduction with online gambling I stayed with online gambling. I didn't come back to real
casinos, and I don't think I ever will. Danslip you need to know that many people will see the benefits of online
casinos and they will not return to real casinos. If casinos limit entrance that would be good for online gambling
people don't wish to wait in lines to gamble, why would they, when they can gamble from where ever they want
in which ever time they want! It's an advantage, people will recognize that!
755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 and Altcoins on: April 17, 2020, 04:30:05 AM
A big event indeed which pushed through bitcoins popularity for the last years.

But, there is a bigger picture that is happening outside. The CoronaVirus.
There is still a chance though that those who don't know what bitcoin is or any altcoins will be seen.

Let us make myself as an example. Using internet like 14 hours in seven days and I bet a lot of us are in the same position.
Maybe now is the best out of all. We might not see bitcoin having a large amount of buyer (since people are spending everyday without income) but the fact that they will see it might be a good opportunity for the future.

Let's not forget that many people have savings, savings in dollars, euros, and other fiat-currencies, and now
they are thinking what will happen with their savings after Coronavirus? Recession, inflation, or something third
that will affect their saving, it will lose value. In times like this one people who have something think about
long positions, to put the money that worth now in something that will survive the upcoming storm and maybe
even make some profit in long-term.
756  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which will be the best altcoin to invest now on: April 16, 2020, 08:49:09 PM
Now everyone should decide whether to invest in crypto or not until the crisis is over, but personally I have invested in ETH and Bitcoin, in other coins until I see the point of investing.

I can't agree with you Jarhed. It's crisis and prices are down, it's a good opportunity for buying,
after the crisis prices can grow and you will have to spend more money for the same investment.
Normally you need to have money if you wish to invest, in my opinion it's better to invest money
in asset that has chance to rise, than to hold money in this moment, because after this crisis money
can lose it's value, do you see that countries are printing money a lot.
757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to keep life savings more secured on: April 16, 2020, 08:07:53 PM
My crypto-holding is my saving, and I am sure that it's more secure than my money in the bank! I relay
more on crypto-future and my holdings, than on my fiat-savings. Time will tell, but I have more in crypto-
currencies, which is normal as I believe more in crypto-currencies.
Keep your wallet offline, store your keys on several places, safe ones and you are secured. There is better
but more complicated security, but for me this is enough I believe.
758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 16, 2020, 06:21:54 PM
You can bet double after you lose, or you can bet the same but on double odd! Why to force martingale when it's
not working, anyone can see that in many comments here. If it's not working on odd you wish to win, bet on higher
odds and you can win your money back.
I do that in sports betting. After few loses on the same team I bet on them but I find some higher odds, maybe more
goals, or double win, there is some higher odd, but I don't risk more money, it's not in my interest!
759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: April 16, 2020, 07:48:38 AM
I stopped gambling for a few months after I lost a couple of grand on one stupid football game. I’m now way better at limiting myself to smaller bets. Winning big is great but it’s no fun when you have so much riding on it, I much prefer to bet smaller & if I lose it doesn’t matter so much.

I gamble like that, I bet small and usually I win small, but if I lose I don't care much about it. I never
gambled with more than $10! it's some maximum for me.
Now I don't make long breaks because online gambling made everything easier. Before when I was
younger and we didn't have online gambling I had long breaks, but now I don't think about that I just
play when I have a wish for that!
760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: April 16, 2020, 06:45:10 AM
I think you should check extentions that you are going to instal. And we got fresh news from a Google about some of it's extensions  Smiley

Google Removes 49 Phishing Extensions That Steal Cryptocurrency Data

https://cointelegraph.com/news/google-removes-49-phishing-extensions-that-steal-cryptocurrency-data
Therefore we must always update information so as not to miss the news, because it is very likely we are also exposed to fake extensions on the browser. I myself have never installed any extension that is not from the official or from a trusted website that has provided it for the browser.

Or we can have an offline wallet! Why do we need to have wallet with Bitcoin that's online all the time?
You minimize risk when you keep your BTC offline, and when you need to use it you can go online in
few seconds.
If we are not careful and don't watch out, we can make a mistake and we can stay without Bitcoins
we have, security is the most important part, and when exchanges get hacked we are like easy
targets.
