I don't see him asking any of you to mine PoW for 0 reward. It looks like he is doing it for you
7402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] !MMXIV !Swap COMPLETE !Pure Proof of Stake !Multipool !HUGE PROMOTIONS ! on: August 06, 2014, 10:09:17 PM
I'm not sure I understand the purpose of these 10,000 zero-reward POW blocks to "keep the network moving faster." A block is a block, POS or POW.  As long as someone has some coins staked somewhere, and the wallet is correctly minting POS blocks, the network is moving - POW is not needed.

It will be weeks before we hit block 10,000 at the rate things are moving right now.  That means no POS reward for those of us trying to stake our coins right now.

And how exactly are these POW blocks being mined right now anyway?  What algo are the POW blocks?  Hardcoreminers is the only pool I'm aware of and they are on the old wallet.  Are we all expected to solo-mine for nothing until block 10k so we can all generate POS?

Are you serious...? Read the bolded part mate. I literally cannot explain it any simpler...

I completely understand the difference between POW and POS.  So are you saying the network is producing POS blocks right now alongside the POW blocks?

Can anyone else confirm that they have received a non-zero POS reward block from the wallet yet.  I sure haven't and my wallet has been open since 8/4.  What is the minimum stake age?

If you can "stake" now - show me a POS block in the block explorer.  I only see POW blocks with zero reward.

For the fifth time...YES

Since you say you know how PoS works, then you understand that just because you are eligible to stake, doesn't mean you will right away. But you already knew that, right?

If POS is being generated right now - what is the min stake age, and where are the POS blocks in the block explorer?  Show me one.

So, if I receive MMXIV to my wallet, and my wallet is unencrypted and left open and running, how long after receiving my coins should I expect before my coins will stake?  You're saying this will not occur until block 10,000?

He's already answered that question many times for you. I'm barely even following this thread and have seen him answer that same question at least 3 times

Just stop responding to him MMXIV he is obviously trolling lol
7403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin STILL has the highest number of ACTIVE ADDRESSES of all the altcoins. on: August 06, 2014, 06:46:00 PM
I could make millions of "active" addresses for any coin with a simple mixer

Doesn't mean anything except the clueless meme fanboys are passing the same coins back and forth with tips
7404  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not enough people were buying Ripple so they rebranded it on: August 05, 2014, 08:41:10 PM
So you are receiving free currency and are still angry? What is wrong with you? You besides from receiving free currency you want it to worth millions?

Scams are those alts who want you to mine spending hashrate on it or even buy them to later dump the devs stack on you.

Ripple devs never orchestrated a dump like 90 percent of shit alts outhere
And i did used ripple to store some currencies many times.. besides of 90 percent of shitty altss.. when did you use a shit altcoin for a real transaction or to buy something?

I would guess about 50 times, but that's probably on the low side
7405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not enough people were buying Ripple so they rebranded it on: August 05, 2014, 07:58:06 PM
Ripple- 2 Years in and still useless as fuck!

I usually like to argue, but I can't on this one

7407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: send altcoins through email on: August 05, 2014, 01:57:29 AM
Or I could just send coins to a fresh wallet and email them the private key...for free
7408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unattanium: Broken by design. on: August 04, 2014, 10:33:01 PM
Well he's right about orphans. They don't break anything, just mess up stats

All exchanges have to do is set confirms higher. P2P transactions will still be fast even if it takes a few extra mins for an exchange deposit to arrive

Sure, assuming you don't accept any transactions with less than 1000 confirmations

As Cryptsy did with Reddcoin?

And as Poloniex did with several coins
7409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are here because they like reading about scams? on: August 04, 2014, 04:00:06 PM
agreed it amuses my balls off more than Altcoins themselves..

Is that why you're still broke?

Fiat isn't going anywhere. The same way plastic didn't replace paper in pocket space

7415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MYST] Mystery Coin Random Rewards 24 Seconds Mystery FOUND - ROLLBACK on: August 01, 2014, 05:41:20 PM
I downloaded the new wallet and my coins are still there. So they are valid?

That's what I was upset about I thought ALL coins prior to the error mined would be invalid and destroyed..

Not true?

If so not such a bad lesson

They should be fine. If they go to confirmed then you're good. It was rolled back to block 7400 something I think

Yea it was 7408. The block right before the big one

You guys do realize it was only rolled back like 8 hours right?
7418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MYST] Mystery Coin Random Rewards 24 Seconds Mystery FOUND - ROLLBACK on: August 01, 2014, 02:49:31 AM
To be fair I don't think anyone would have paid attention if they didn't let him do it and only explained it

I feel like I'm in ancient Rome with a few crazy people standing on big rocks screaming how everything sucks

Hows your new project working out for ya ? care to elaborate on it ?
a little birdy whispered in my ear Wink

Another spots coin in the works? 5 coins, a wordpress fiverr clone, and a vapourware payment processing site isn't enough to manage? Mullick compiling this one too?

No matter what you are holding, I guarantee you have at least 1 coin that I've been involved with

I didn't actually make WorkForCrypto, just helped out with it

You're right about Paysha, though. That project fell through. Disagreements between team members and different visions for the product. Yes that project failed, but at least I'm the only one that lost out financially

Respect for the non trollish answer to my trolling, more than could be expected from the loudest voice in this thread. Go on though, give Spoetnik a rage orgasm (he needs on hes not stealing from an underage girl, conquest sexual predator he is and all) and list them. I doubt I personally have any, my hodlings are pretty limited--unless you made Bitcoin or Namecoin.

Not worth it to argue anymore. My time is better spent on things that actually matter now

By the way...I don't even know who iGotAids is

I'm usually super against rollbacks...

But being that it was pretty obvious there was a planned issue and not being on an exchange yet...this one seems ok
