7421  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Is Draftkings The Most Trending Thing Now? on: February 15, 2019, 10:03:35 AM
It just makes it easier for people to find other people. I know it sounds weird but people are not amazingly friendly with each other right now, from social media to online presence people are getting more and more distant from each other face to face and get more familiar through screens instead of actually talking. That is why online world is more social than real world now.

Considering the talking and networking became more online and why fantasy world became more online as well. On a regular fantasy you need to get together with a group of friends and build a fantasy draft league and go from there, with draftkings you do not need that, you can join in on some random strangers and just go with that and even tough you don't know the people you can just contact via trades and all that.

Basically, takes out the personalized stuff in other fantasy leagues and makes it more online and can be played with strangers which is why its awesome.
7422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in Sports Betting on: February 15, 2019, 08:43:35 AM
You bet on a good team, it will win eventually. No?
You may go for betting continuously as per martingale but make sure how long your sport event will last to get you enough number of opportunities and another hurdle would be your available bankroll after the lost previous round(s). I guess a well pre-planned sports betting through martingale may end up in sure profits given that you are capable for deciding things and transact faster.

If you are referring about going for martingale strategy with your sports betting across different matches on multiple days then I guess that you do not need any special skills and you may crack profits but you still need big enough bankroll to support your martingale strategy.
7423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino Affiliate Programs list - Promote multiple casinos under 1 program on: February 15, 2019, 07:20:03 AM
It would be much better if you go for organizing this in more elaborated way like including their special requirements and conditions and payout threshold levels and available payment options and etc. Just listing name of programs along with site may not suitable for this forum.

I mean you may go for adding view by this forum members and including proof for payments (happened in recent times) kind of things will make this list more versatile and you may attract more people to refer this discussion. Also, you did not mention anything about crypto based gambling houses, still I assume these programs are having bitcoins and other altcoins as one of payment options.
7424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Creating fast (algo)trading bots on: February 15, 2019, 05:33:50 AM
Trading bots which will do trades faster ? I guess you refer this speed of trade only in subject line but never in your open-post.
From subject alone, I am understanding this is all about finding entry points for trades faster as for exit, everyone must wait along with markets Grin. Kidding aside, I am always against using trading bots as I am always sure that I could trade better than any codes. I do see lots of trading bots being advertised across this forum but most traders are sharing about got struck.

I don't know how their bots can be faster when we all rely on the same API in every exchange.
In wild guess it is not about placing orders faster but finding a perfect entry point before other traders. Practically, a pro trader may catch a trend reversal earlier than others as it will be possible for them when they are combining multiple technical analysis. This is one of the way to trade faster but I am not really sure that OP is referring this here.
7425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trouble question on: February 14, 2019, 04:30:46 PM
If someone requires you to give them money so you can take bigger money out its ALWAYS a scam. Never in history of anything it is required to just pay someone to pay you bigger later.

If that was the case (in which times it is) people usually take out the money from the earnings. You have money there, if they require money from you they can just deduct the amount from your winnings and send you that way. Simple as that.

There is no system in the world that would require you to pay them, never do that. It is the typical Nigerian prince who needs you to send him money so he can take out some money from his bank and pay you. The oldest scam in the world, never trust any website that does something like this because there is not even a 1% chance they are legit and real.
7426  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading In Venezuela Keeps Setting New Records on: February 14, 2019, 02:54:27 PM
People are just trying to get their money out somehow. When a country is this bad and the conditions are getting worse and there is a civil war going on you can just assume there are people who try to run away from that country to somewhere else. Doesn't really matter where because no matter where you go at least you will have food to eat. That is the level they are at the moment, if they can EAT they are happy hence they do get bitcoin from their country and than leave for another country to maybe have a chance to feed their baby.

There are mothers who lost their new born babies because they couldn't find food for them, if a countries conditions are that bad its not a wonder why they would prefer bitcoin over their own currency. Hopefully, it will get bigger and bigger and either the dictator falls or people leave that country for good. We talk about ISIS being a terrorist organization and kills people there and send people away to other countries but in reality Venezuela is in the same situation and the dictator should be considered a terrorist occupying a country as well.
7427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Roger Ver control the Bitcoin price? on: February 14, 2019, 01:45:00 PM
One person only can control the price only one way, buying or selling. If he doesn't buy or sell bitcoin than he can't decide on the price in other way. If he is not buying bitcoin to increase it or if he is not selling bitcoin to drop the price than all his talks are not really that important.

Bitcoin is not speculative in a way that just talking would affect bitcoin that much. Bitcoin cash war did affected the price but not because of the hard fork itself but because they needed to sell bitcoin to fuel their war and they needed to buy hash power and all that with it, the price drop was because of that. Also just because he supports bitcoin doesn't mean the price increased because of that, price was already dropping and needed to go back up for a correction.
7428  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many Bitcoin do you think Wall St will own on: February 14, 2019, 12:48:03 PM
Not too much, bitcoin is a limited thing and its finite, if they want to buy too much of it the price would increase a lot and they would not be profiting from it. They do not want to buy bitcoin at a 20k+ price because the price could drop anytime and if they want to buy a lot of bitcoin than there is no other way than increase the price. That is the good part of bitcoin, its finite and since its finite there will never be anyone who buy too much of it, if they collected it before bitcoin became famous than they already did but from now on they can't do it since it would affect the price badly for them.

Wall street has a lot of money but they didn't become that rich by just putting their money on everything and just wait for the profit, they are smart and know how this is run so they won't do it neither.
7429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies Wallets on: February 14, 2019, 10:04:17 AM
Good work OP !
I do see you are listing bitcoin-core after Exodus under desktop category. I mean official things need to be prioritized. I checked twice like you are listing alphabetical or in any order, I am sorry I am just finding that you are listing pure randomly or based on the order your preferences like your exposure on those wallets.

I like this topic, because you also provided pros and cons of each wallets. That must be a new thing as far as I am concerned. Like to see more elaborated advantages and disadvantages for all category.

This is my usual reference for gaining knowledge on latest wallets info : https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet
Now, I have bookmarked this topic too.
7430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2019 No Bull Run, the Bull is Sleeping on: February 14, 2019, 09:22:34 AM
for the beginning of the month of 2019 the altcoin price does not yet have a sign of rising, but I strongly believe that the increase will occur in mid-2019.
Even we will be having bitcoin prices trading above $4000 levels, I guess this year will be marked as a positive year for bitcoins like to indicate that bulls are not sleeping. I guess bitcoin can easily reach up to $10k levels this years. Overall this is too early to call there is no bull for this years. There are plenty of months left to surprise us. Need to wait some more months before making such a statements.

A good project lock their token to save a fall price. But its not give effect to make their price is up because too little buyer in market.
Some devs had opted for partial payments and many devs had delayed their launch. There are many negative things are happening around crypto markets and I sure that this year will be complete different from what we had in 2018. So, getting ready for bull market is sensible in my opinion.
7431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if the bull run started and ended in one night? on: February 14, 2019, 08:54:13 AM
It is clear that it is no longer called a 'bull run' but is only limited to pump and dump. In short, bull run is a condition where the crypto market is experiencing up trend.
Yes, that will be classified as spike which is normal for any markets but OP is mentioning about some unimaginable ranges which may not be happening in real markets. I remember in late 2017, BCH was bumped up to 0.5 BTC over the time and when I checked in my day time it came down to around 0.3 BTC levels which is the incident strikes in my mind once I did see this topic. Everything is possible in these markets but I guess these peculiar fluctuations cannot be considered as "missed opportunities".

There are multiple variants on "missed opportunities" while we are trading and the most hurting one must be, missing out big profits even were aware of market reversals like I did miss the $19.5 levels of bitcoins. I was planning to ove my bitcoins into exchanges to convert into tether to lock my USD profits but I hesitated as I was expecting market to test $40k and missed that opportunity very badly and holding my bitcoins till now.
7432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Eth Dapps worth keeping an eye on on: February 14, 2019, 07:51:05 AM
if you are interested in the blockchain projects that have the most potential I would say would be these 5:

1. BitTorrent
Bittorent is not blockchain based project but it is a decentralization based content sharing project. Moreover, their tokens are Tron network based smart contracts based (something like TRC 10 if I remember correctly).

I seriously am amazed why people think that bittorrent is a good idea to invest. It works fine without crypto. Sounds more like a way for getting a large funding.
That is the magic of heavy promotions. Tron itself being intensively promoted by Justin Sun, the head of its dev team and part of their promotional stunts, they have bought bittorent and planned long term based air drop to Tron holders which means Tron may get long lasting investors. Some people have already started predicting comparing tron against ethereum but tron got enormous supply whereas ethereum got unlimited supply. We need to wait some more time to make any conclusion on these.
7433  Economy / Economics / Re: Bruce Schneier criticizes blockchain technology on: February 13, 2019, 01:21:36 PM
He has a small point, blockchain supposed to be p2p and when a blockchain company builds a blockchain software and helps you install it and use it that creates a third party. Has no other purpose other than regular software company, except this one uses blockchain. We need to make sure companies have their own blockchain that is p2p without outside help to actually make it trustless system where it has no third party connections.

If used incorrectly blockchain could be very dangerous as well from tracking the movements to 51% attacks to many other dangers so when it is installed by a third party it is not exactly a trustless system like bitcoin promised. Hence blockchain is gaining a lot of attention which is awesome but its not properly used like it should be.
7434  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: February 13, 2019, 07:40:53 AM
the market should show a more positive movement even though slowly, it is time for the crypto market to recover. But with the market improving recently I pay more attention to Ethereum which seems more significant to recover quickly even though the price of bitcoin was red in a moment.
I am also expecting this market will sustain from the current levels and will start slowly toward bouncing back to previous peaks. Like many people here speculated, we can expect market to stay sideways for sometimes because it is currently failing to attract new high level of investors like institutional funds. They are the real player who are doing all the pumps and dumps. We can be sure about they have all done with their dumps and it may be a time for pumping out.

The exact current market state is sideways. It may trade in range between $3300 to $3650 levels. But, the positive thing about sideways market is, it will usually break up at the upper side and almost zero chances to fall further than lower side.
7435  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance Charity used blockchain tech to deliver services to Bududa victims on: February 12, 2019, 03:17:09 PM
With the recent charity from primedice and now binance we are seeing the profits of crypto businesses are going to charities. Unlike the wall street riches and billionaires who try to keep their money in their pocket these business actually help people who are in need. This is the power of bitcoin, it gives everyone a fair shot at being successful and if you give a chance to everyone to be rich than you will see more people helping out others.

The rich of the traditional monetary system fail to help the people in need, Jeff Bezos who made his money from working his employees to death (people actually died working in amazon warehouses) paid only 20 million dollars in charity this year, 20 million dollars may look like its a lot but remember this dude made 24 BILLION DOLLAR profit this year, that s less than 0.1% of his JUST PROFITS going to charity, we need more bitcoin companies to jump in on this charity thing to show the world how different we are.
7436  Economy / Speculation / Re: Proof MtGox Dumping Caused Bear Market Alleged on: February 11, 2019, 03:25:22 PM
There is always a wave affect. You can drop a stone into water and it wouldn't just affect the place you drop the water it also affects the surrounding with circles going bigger and bigger. Hence, when a 24 thousand is sold it affects on a bigger margin than the 24 thousand sold.

It affects what happens before hand, it affects what happens during, it affects what happens afterwards. Of course we can't put all the blame on them but we can at least honestly say that they did had a huge part on this bad bear market. Not the only cause but a huge cause as well, if we listed all the reasons why bitcoin dropped from 20 thousand dollars to under 4 thousand dollars the trustee selling 24 thousand bitcoins would be at least on the top 3 if not the biggest reason. That is why its always important to keep an eye on the whales.
7437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the disadvantage you experience with crypto related gamble projects. on: February 09, 2019, 01:28:55 PM
This thread might be of help to crypto gamble companies so they can work on those disadvantages and make your experience in gambling with cryptocurrency more fun and enjoyable.
1. I do see most gamblers are not satisfied with transparency of gambling houses hence a better system than "provably fair" may convince them at some levels.

2. More P2P games. I am well aware of practical limitations of P2P environment. Still, I do see many gamblers are demanding it compared to playing against house.

3. Quick and effective customer support. Even tier-1 houses are now a days replying, waiting for "higher people" to conclude.

4. Well defined TOS. No case to case rules.

5. Enhanced mobile gambling experiences. Gambling on the go is biggest demand for many people here.
7438  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🚀 Micro Exchange with Poker & Dice & Roulette 🔥🚀 on: February 09, 2019, 11:50:38 AM
So far all things show that you guys are on the right track for sure. With all the exchange money that is basically similar to rake in poker and then the rake you are capable of providing the freerolls daily which is still amazing and still believable amounts and considering you guys are getting more and more people joining your freeroll everyday we can assume you are also getting more and more users everyday and that means you must be making more and more profits everyday which concludes at the marketing you are doing actually works really well.

Funny thing about the freeroll, I have registered for the past 3 days and always stayed until there was like one hour left until the game starts but I always forget about it and start doing something else and then check back only hours after it ended Cheesy. I need to set an alarm or something for myself lol.
7439  Economy / Gambling / Re: 📢🔥[ANN]🚀 STARS VIP Club - The Biggest Casino Platform 📢🔥 on: February 09, 2019, 09:36:05 AM
Domain seems about 5 months old right now, pretty sure a good time for a software building and checking beta testing and all that so we can call it a brand new place for sure.

I wanted to check because there have been other live casino places in crypto before that are actually fiat currency casinos that added crypto on top of their existing system so I wanted to see if that was the case but apparently it is not and its a brand new place.

Also, when going to your website it sends us to starsvipclub.com but when I want to play it sends me to starsvip.net which is a bit confusing and honestly I do not have any idea why it would be needed, that alone is a bit scary I would love to know an explanation of why something like that would be required for us to do and would rather not play until I know the reason.
7440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is that GREEN? BTC BULL RUN V2019? on: February 09, 2019, 08:49:33 AM
I would like to argue that this might only be a few moments, and then come back like normal days (red). And if indeed this will continue to experience good conditions, I think the price increase will continue at an ever-increasing pace. At least the price of bitcoin will rise above $ 4000 in 48 hours.
Please remember after 14 months of bear markets, we are not going to have bull markets in sudden but we are going to have a sideways before the start of bull markets. Hence, I will not be shocked if bitcoin will be failing to break $4000 this time and going back to $3400 levels. But, I am also seeing an intensive buying pressure which may lead to $4200 levels before seeing any chances for coming down.

We have fallen for many months in a row and a little correction just must happen one day. It doesn't mean the bull run has begun at all.
Yes, this might be a correction in bear markets. But get ready for more this types of corrections in coming days as bitcoin may struck range bound for another few months before it will be getting ready for another strong bull run.
