Mahirap ba mag bukas ng bank account? Sa BPI 500 pesos lang ang deposit. Sa BDO, maybe 2000 pesos, not sure.

While I'm all for "bitcoin is for the unbanked", mas madali pa rin kung meron ka any of the supported big bank accounts, lahat gumagana sa coins.ph.

BDO, BPI are in most malls kasi SM at Ayala sila.

7423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT(NON FUNGIBLE TOKEN)... which are the best to invest in 2021? on: July 30, 2021, 11:51:34 PM
Check out the threads in the forum about NFT and there's the popular game Axie Infinity. People are watching it closely for those who are interested folks. I've invested in it and plays the game and has already earned two times and I've initially got my ROI already.
I wasn't expecting that it would be that quick to take my ROI but with the low price of SLP and AXS lately, the price of Axies is going to be quite down, and as well as the ROI range would take longer. I'm not advising you to invest in it until you understand it. I've done my research on it before I've bought my Axie team.
7424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 30, 2021, 11:18:24 PM
IMHO, it's better to make this thread focused on his fight and avoid discussing his possible run for the presidency and anything related to politics. Since adding that will give anyone's opinion differently towards the match. Let's make the thread clean even though we know that he's going to run for president and look at the most recent situation that he's been with during his training. There are three more weeks until his match finally happens and I know that it's unavoidable to discuss Pacquiao's motive of running to the presidency but that's just a suggestion of mine.
7425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: July 30, 2021, 08:24:26 PM
Those that don't like bitcoin to receive as their salary, there's the reason behind that and they're aware of the volatility that bitcoin bears. And to those that are willing and happily going to accept payments in bitcoin, they also know what they do and it's like a direct buy of bitcoin but less hassle since it's coming from their employees. Well, in the future we're going to see more jobs paying in bitcoin as long as there's an agreement between the company and the employee and both sides are willing to cater to both needs and meets their end.
7426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC fall below $20,000? Bargain hunting? on: July 30, 2021, 07:20:43 PM
a trend for the short term has formed I think. more visible this will be a good rally for the BTC market. but maybe it won't be a very strong rally. because after a small pump we see there is good stability for the BTC market.
I became convinced this would be an opportunity for altcoins to get a pump rally.
Altcoins will always be next when we see the bitcoin rally. Whilst for those people that are waiting for the bargain of bitcoin to hit $20k, we're doubled from that price and we've seen it go half from the past ATH and the highest as of the moment. It is unlikely that we see $20k soon and if it does then that really hits that we're in the real bear market by that time. We saw the bear trap when it's down by $29k and then eventually has recovered so fast. And that gives us some idea that we may not see that price again, hopefully not.
7427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for ICO 2021 on: July 30, 2021, 06:34:13 PM
Good luck if you're hoping to get some gains with ICO. Not saying that it's impossible but it's highly unlikely that you'll get to see those valuable ICOs around. They've been gone since the scams came in although some projects are still hoping to get a good crowdsale through ICO.
But as you've said, most are into it anymore and chose to get into NFTs. So if you think that you've got a better opportunity with NFTs, why are you still interested in ICO since there's not that much interest in it anymore and it's harder to get into those projects that are likely to reach even their soft cap.
investors now didn't aware any more with ICO project that launched recently, most of them now failed in crowdsale stages. Only really good project with excellent team background will attract new investor especially from ventures. There are alot new scheme of crowdfunding and IDO or IEO still be safest ways to invest new project since dev team didn hold the money. trend now shifted to NFT project which is provide really fun concept , that is play to earn. with some coins or token as starting balance we could use it for playing game and get token. i do agree now investors concern in this project.
There are few of those that can be said to be successful during the crowd sale but unlike before, most of them were into their hard cap and they're hitting those easily. It's very important to look at the situation right now of the ICO market because if you're not that too resourceful, you might spend your money without the ease of researching and might put it into the wrong project. That's why you'll have that moment for yourself to study first the market for you to understand everything that's being popularized by the community and new projects that do come in.
7428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Exposed to children on: July 30, 2021, 12:23:22 PM
They'll get the money to gamble from their parents, they'll look for a way to cash it in and then so that they can gamble with their parents' money. These influencers should always put a disclaimer that the young viewers that they have shouldn't gamble since they have no money to gamble and teach them to be responsible first before trying anything crazy that they have on their minds like the perfect example of thinking that you can make 10x or more. I've thought of that when I was a teenager that has saw gambling in my neighborhood.

And worst, some will use credit card /details from their parents just to sign up especially if they encounter fiat-based gambling sites. In this case, it is really important to instill with your kids the importance of money and the effect of gambling. Even at early age, they need to know about the possible consequences, so when they finally encounter it via their peers or online search, they already know what to do.
That's already it, they'll get the money from their parents. Cash or transfer or through credit card but that's the problem of those parents that will have this problem. They shouldn't let their kids touch their credit cards because they'll really use them for the things that they want even for online shopping. That's why guidance is needed for those kids so that these parents will not have these encounters if ever they have a grown-up kid that's too curious with technology and gambling.
7429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: YOUR FAVORITE GAMBLING? on: July 30, 2021, 10:08:11 AM
If I had to choose one game, and only be allowed to play this one game for the next year it would either be blackjack or poker. I love card games of any time, especially if money is involved.
As long as they're card games, you'll be loving to play them. Well, I'm not so good with card games but I know how to play poker and I would choose that but it's not my favorite. It's not also dice but for this time, I'm going to choose sports betting.

The thing with poker is that it got very competitive over the last years and can't be looked at it anymore as a recreational game of you play online for higher stakes. For relaxing after work blackjack is better because you don't need to concentrate so hard.
Because there's a big amount of money involved for most of the tournaments, it's really going that big and that's why it's not that considered anymore as a recreational game. Some have even considered it as their career path.

7433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling becomes popular on: July 29, 2021, 11:44:41 PM
Although the people of the world are under house arrest due to the epidemic, they are involved in various online based activities. They're trying to adjust themselves with various gaming, betting and gambling site with incoming but they don't know they are becoming a real gambler.
It's not house arrest, staying at home is the key to be protected and won't be a potential carrier. It's done by everyone to stay safe and we can't do anything with that and even you have received full shots of the vaccine, it's still recommended to stay at home.
And this isn't just an epidemic but a global problem for this disease and called a pandemic. As everyone stayed at home for long and will keep staying, it is true that it's an adjustment that everyone has to be done because we don't know how long this pandemic will stay and and when it will end.

7435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't panic on: July 29, 2021, 10:25:17 PM
Panic is a kind of dangerous disease for a trader. If anyone has this disease he can't get profit by trading. So don't be the patient of this disease and take your time to decide where to invest and also research yourself. Don't invest anywhere before researching yourself.
It isn't an actual disease it's a reaction that we show whenever we see the market don't go and isn't in favor of the likes of us. Someone has to understand that crypto investments are very much volatile and you have to be patient for you to survive this fluctuating market. Because if you're not too patient on it, you're not going to stay on this market for long and you'll be too quick in temper and might lead yourself to do things that you don't like, just like panic selling and selling at losses which isn't even your will.
7436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Number of altcoins keep increasing! on: July 29, 2021, 09:47:45 PM
Now many investors pay close attention to digital technologies and actively invest in DeFi and blockchain.
And in NFT too. We are investing in the projects that are working in blockchain. This makes the defi market become crowded and makes a lot of these projects get out of the sight of most investors because they're competing with each other.
As for the new projects that are leaning only to the coin or token that they've made, they're likely to survive if they're going to get the sale that they needed but if not, they have to try again with another project that they may end up.
7437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or playing? on: July 29, 2021, 05:18:48 PM
It can teach the young players to gamble. If that's sort of an in-game NPC and place, those kids will gamble at their will as part of being curious. That's the side effect of having a game with a gambling game inside and you'll never know what will be the implication of it. They can bring that gambling experience even if it's just inside a game into the outside and real world until they grow up and the rest would be history. That's the side effect that I can see and for sure that I'm not the only one that's concerned with the young ones who will be introduced to gambling by that way.

I will also get concerned because you cannot expose or integrate gambling to kid's gaming sites, it's not right, even if some countries allow kids to gamble I will not let my kid gamble or even expose to gambling games like dice, slots or similar games that are very much associated to gambling, there will be many complaints if a gaming site integrates gambling or parents will prevent their kids to play there and look for alternatives.
There are the parents that have the most important role to guide their kids. But sometimes, it's out of scope already when the kids are too resourceful and they eventually gamble inside a game without the parents knowing it. And it doesn't look important to them so they don't tell it to their parents while the parents, as seem it's just a game, do not care at all as long as their kids are enjoying whatever game they're playing with but without the notice of what type of game they're playing.
7438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Combination of gambling and trading on: July 29, 2021, 04:14:21 PM
You have to be exceptionally great in time management and analyzing, if you can't do that you are going to lose money and sleep because it requires great effort and concentration if you want to handle both, you will end up losing on both, it's better to pick only one and have a good sleep than master both but have a sleepless night.
Not that really exceptional, as long as you can manage your time and you know how to analyze than that should be enough. Why sleep is about to lose? you can trade at any time without any need of sacrificing your sleep. I agree that when you trade, you must have a good sleep but you don't have to go up to the point of having sleepless nights as you trade.  And if you're gambling, you can have those right time of doing it the same as having no need to sacrifice your sleep.
7439  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is stop loss and how it works on: July 29, 2021, 10:21:44 AM
what is the best way to apply the stop loss features that will guarantee zero loss,
This is impossible. You're doing a stop loss because you're already losing and that's inevitable when you apply this strategy. You can stop loss if you ever meet 1% loss or more up to the amount of loss that you're okay to bear. And for more discussion, there's already a thread for the importance of stop loss. You will see people how they're stopping loss and how important it is and how it has changed their trading style. The link of the thread below.

7440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOLDING TOKEN TO EARN DIVIDENDS on: July 29, 2021, 09:10:39 AM
It's not useless to hold staking coins. There really are those worth it tokens to hold but you've got to be picky in having those because you might choose the wrong staking coins. Not just because it's a staking coin, you're going to buy it already, no, just no. You still have to conduct your research and look at its liquidity or you'll just buy it through the hype. While you're doing that, look for those lists in different articles that have considered staking coins. There are too many of them and it's up to you to decide which of them suits your investing style because not everyone affords to invest in those.
