Looks like german backers are happy today with nico shulz scoring for germany at the 90th minute of the match to end it.
Didnt think they would win cause I bet on them in their last match to score to take them out of the draw but they couldnt do it with over 20 minutes of play left in the game.

They should be, That's almost a 3.0 odds they'll be having bro!
I'm glad I won my bet on the Netherlands to win either half too
I'd have Netherlands to win either half @ 1.68

I think the Netherlands deserved perhaps, a draw, but it is what it is, and in football not all results will be well deserved.

Who's ready for an upset tonight?  Cheesy
Looks like the giants are on alert tonight

Gnabry just scored a beauty to make it 2 Nil for the Germans!
Goal was an absolute beauty. He hypnotized Van Dijk with the moves  Grin

Yeah, Van Dijk before that goal have made some good tackles and ball recoveries., I think there's he nothing could have done about that goal, There was no stopping that, even the goal keeper stood no chance.

Netherlands have equalized from 2 goals down! Now this could be interesting!!

Here is the Line up, Lets see if Germany's experimentation will work, or they will be humiliated once again

So far, So far good! Their playing awesomely well! And Manuel neuer with some impressive saves!

Gnabry just scored a beauty to make it 2 Nil for the Germans!

I had read previous statistics that during play at Netherlands home ground Germany cannot win 4 times in a row for latest game and especially most of Germany players currently don't have experience to playing for international events because mostly Germany were dominated by young players and possibly Netherlands will dominated the game and i was so tempting with Netherlands odds which is pretty high @2.53 and for this game i think i will pick for home team Netherlands won

I'm not sure if Netherlands can pull of a win tonight, but the odds are very tempting and undeniably Netherlands are in a terrifying form.
Germany will still be fielding an experimental squad after axing several of their top stars.

I'd have Netherlands to win either half @ 1.68
7466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 24, 2019, 05:14:59 PM
It's just that the star players were holding to their spots and they still are.
Guys like DeJong, DeLigt, Arthur are here to replace the older players... but that will only happen in due time.
Only Lenglet and Dembele have made it to the starting XI but others soon will.
I actually like the way Barca is dealing with this situation.
Now finding another Messi will be another story.

Lenglet happened to be very lucky with the long term injury Samuel Umtiti had to through, If not I think he'd have had a very limited playing time, just like Yerry Mina and Vermelean had.

Only one game worth watching today: Netherlands vs Germany. I'm going with Netherlands to win and BTTS @3.58.
Last time both teams met was in the Nations League, 1st leg was a 3-0 home win for Netherlands, 2nd leg ended 2-2. Germany have been playing some mediocre football lately, complete opposite of Netherlands who I think are the main favorites to grab the 3 pts today.
Germany is going through some sort of transformation which could take a while.
I won't be surprise if they lost tonight.

I noticed some very new faces in that 1-1 draw against Serbia

1. Wales Beat Slovakia by 1 goal to 0
2. Visitors Russia thump Kazakhstan at their home by 4 goals to 0. Denis Cheryshev continues with his National Form by scoring a brace and assisting another goal.
Is this the same Kazakhstan that mauled Scotland a few days back?  Grin

I had Russia to win @ 1.88 and Wales/Slovakia either team to win @ 1.32
Overall odds 2.47 bet won.

I was surprised with Russia's performance they had comfortable lead just at halftime with a 2 goals lead, and Cheryshev is really in best form of his life with the National side.

And my favourite young striker scored last night at his debut for Italy. Moise Kean  Smiley
A Drogba-Balotelli combination with brains. Not saying Drogba didn't have any but Balotelli surely didn't reach his potential.
He seems very calm and confident in his qualities and that is good to see.

Lol,
with the likes of Himself, Donnarumma, Barella  and Bernardeschi I can say the future of the Italian team could well find it's way back into the league of Europe giants, after several disappointing competitions over these years.

Bet pushed, It was a very close game even until final seconds.  Grin
Lucky for you that blazers still able to cover your handicap, did you also bet for ML or you just bet for handicapped?
Moving on for tomorrow's pick, do you thinks backing GSW handicapped of -12.5 would be a good choice or following
the news and play against them instead? rumors said that coach Kerr will rest some of his stars, earlier they've lose the
game without curry.

Are you making reference to GSW upcoming match against Detroit Pistons ?

Edit: Got it, Detroit Pistons are doing badly at the moment, so I'm definitely not going to back GSW at their recent form on a -12.5 against the Pistons ?

It's not logical either. It's the knowledge and experience matters more in sports-betting than logic. Let's assume you say a Team-A will beat Team-B because team a has a particular player but who knows if that player will get injured or a red card? Now that's not either logical or knowledgeable. Luck again will play an important role here for the bettor on the other end. My point being, at the end of the day it's still gambling.

I don't quite agree,
Logic and Knowledge is about "a way of reasoning" and "facts, information, and skills acquired through experience", Neither of the two is a certain way of knowing what's to happen ? but you'd make an "Informed guess" without the need of luck for it to happen, all factors considered.

Let's say would you always bet against Man City with the hope(luck) that their best player(s) will get injured or a red card ? Even with a red card you'd fancy them to win some matches right, without getting lucky ? Do you think someone could be lucky enough to bet on and win that the current Man City squad will lose all their 38 games in the premier campaign ?

many expect ideal club matches. whatever the match I expect to be able watch a good match from each soccer team. and each team bring down their best squad and formation. not like 2018 final, Liverpool had to lose moh salah in the middle of the match & Kraus make a lot of mistakes. until the end of the match I felt I did not enjoy the final because of a lot of mistakes on the Liverpool team.

Liverpool started the final very well, but losing Mo Salah who happened to be their best player early had a huge effect on heir level of confidence and they just couldn't contain the Real Madrid pressure, they alson had a huge momentum after coming back to level terms, but it wasn't just enough.

My picks for today are simple
Bosnia&Hertzegovina
Spain
Italy

With an total odds of 2.09, it’s enough for me Smiley
Good luck to all

Good win, and congratulations to you! Hope you did make some pretty good profit with those 2.09 odds.

Italy has a good players but I think their strategy bad but many new squard in italy

Yes, there is a relatively new set of players for the Italian, which is understandable considering how aged their previous squad used to be, there are still quite a number of old guys.

Today's game Portland Trail Blazers vs Detroit Pistons

I'm backing Trail Blazers to win this game, but I will be going for the Blazers to cover a - 5 point spread.

Trail Blazers - 5

Italy are already up in an early after just 7 minutes and while spain are leading with 1 goal too.
It's now 2-1 in Favour of Spain.. Sergio Ramos scoring from the spot kick.
How many goals does "El Capitano" now have overall? 🤗
12 minutes to stoppage time.

Yeah, I'm not totally sure about the amount goals he has scored for the national team, last time I checked I think he has around 15 goals or there about.
7476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 23, 2019, 09:13:03 PM
By the way, New signings especially Youngsters haven't really lived to their expectations after joining Barcelona in the recent years. All we see are just glimpses of talent in a few matches before they get completely forgotten. What do you think is the problem?

That's most definitely due to lack of playing time for the youngsters and a huge pressure when they're trying to live up to expectations a the slightest chance they get, The most recent case would be Yerry Mina he came into with a big potential as a CB but had a very limited playing time due to Pique and Umtiti's partnership at the heart of defence, but whenever he gets a chance the pressure is always too much.

Besides me, is anyone else thinking that Brazil is go to settle for a draw ? What is going on LOL
I blame the lack of motivation to beat a weaker team like Panama as the main reason why the game ended with a draw. If they were playing for the points, I have no doubts that Brazil would've won easily...Brazil with a draw, and Argentina lost yesterday, not the best start for the two south american juggernauts.

Italy starting XI vs Finland: Donnaruma, Piccini, Bonucci, Chiellini, Biraghi, Verrati, Jorginho, Barella, Kean, Bernardeschi, Immobile.

You were right @Pmalek, Kean is in the starting XI, looking forward to see how he performs tonight.

For Brazil, even with their full functional XI, they're struggling to win matches, I think the team still need more time to evolve completely.

Italy are already up in an early after just 7 minutes and while spain are leading with 1 goal too.
7478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling - A Game of Luck or Strategy on: March 23, 2019, 07:10:03 PM
Gambling includes a wide range of things inside it. Depends on which particular thing you are referring to.
Take poker , it's about skill and luck. Take about lottery it's purely luck, take sports betting again strategy and luck.

Poker has a lot of skill but all the gambling games are strongly correlated to the factor of luck.
You gave some examples and all of them had the factor of luck but some of them the factor of strategy. So gambling is defined by luck and not about strategy because there are sometimes that luck can destroy your strategy.

Maybe does play a part in gambling, but in the view sporting bets which I'm a big fan, Strategy and logic plays a bigger role in winning. Luck is just based on very small percentage of winning, you can't win all your bets solely based on luck, while you stand a chance to win them if logical enough.
7479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Qualifying on: March 23, 2019, 06:24:09 PM
snip..

It was just a bad day for Portugal, they didn't played badly and they deserved to win the match, they created more than 15 scoring chances with 8 shots on goal, all which I think is enough for a team win with even -.2.5 handicap, It just doesn't happen to be their night.

As for you new 3 fold bet, I really hope you win, Brazil is currently playing a 1 - 1 with 25 minutes left in the match.
7480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 23, 2019, 06:15:14 PM
Gambling addiction cannot lead you to a disease because playing gambling does not have a side effects that will result illness.

According to Oxford dictionary here's is one of the definitions of disease
Quote
A particular quality or disposition regarded as adversely affecting a person or group of people.

While another defined it as "Lack of ease".
From what I can say, gambling addiction can cause both an uneasy situation financial, which could definitely have mental effects, It can also have an adverse effect on the well being of any individual. So I assume it's safe and logical to consider it a disease.
