7461  Other / Meta / Re: MERIT SOURCE application on: May 14, 2019, 11:08:28 AM
I would like to bestow this extremely well crafted (and in no way MS Paint created in 30 seconds) Medal of Merit upon micgoossens, for being one of the few worthy souls to surpass satoshi in merits. Not only is mic a go-getter, he's a giver, one of the more charitable benefactors of the Bitcoin Forum community, as can be witnessed by his ever-popular BTC price prediction contests.

I'm sure that if The Goose was made a merit source, he would travel outside of the WO thread more regularly to expend them, even if this hasn't been said yet (if it has then my bad, but it should be said that I'm sure that he would).
7462  Economy / Reputation / Re: S_Therapist = mdayonliner on: May 14, 2019, 08:11:25 AM
Yes I have seen people in fiverr offering all kind of shady services for bitcointalk from merit giving, post writing, improving your writing style and a lot of this shit for a really low amount of money.

The worst thing is they are medium-low energy shitposters at best and they charge a decent sum of money. The clients are people who can't write or formulate an original thought to save their lives who pay other people with 8th grade level English to talk to themselves.
7463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 14, 2019, 07:01:49 AM

LOL! They look just thrilled to have to learn extra steps in their job in order to satisfy these two Abercrombie & Fitch douchebags.

Doesn't a 1 minute block time seem slow? Are you adding layer 2?

One minute block time seem slow compared to what? That's 10x faster than bitcoin. I think its pretty fast, no need to add layer 2.

If you read the details of the trust rating causing this warning, you'll realize it is probably caused by you spamming the thread with useless nonsense, not by wrongdoings of the project.

Check the trust rating again.

OK guys, good luck with your project. Sorry you're having this troll infestation but there's not much more I can do about it.

I do recommend you open another thread for your project and lock this one. The last comment you write here before locking it should have a link to the new thread. Make sure the new thread is moderated! Best of luck to you, I'm out.
7465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 13, 2019, 04:57:40 PM
But, what do those numbers you posted (2-2-10-4) mean? Just curious...

Play Railroad Tycoon, you'll learn. Cheesy

Great Series of games BTW.

Damn I miss that game. Goes great with a bag of weed (as do most things).

One of my favorite aspects was trying to bankrupt the other tycoons by manipulating their stock prices.

If you had enough capital to buy and crash the price of a competitor's stock, you could leave them forever bankrupt, unable to dig themselves out of massive debt. Fun!
7466  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Monero White - team photos from dating sites on: May 13, 2019, 04:50:31 PM
LOL.

That's pretty awful.

They're not even hot chicks! I'm sorely disappointed.

"Hey lets find some middle aged shlubs on the internet in selfie poses and pretend they're us. That will really get the investments rolling in."

How did you discover this turd if its not on bitcointalk?

If they had an account here, I can imagine they would respond with, "That's really us. We can't find dates."

At least Masonboris has incredibly wide standards, looking for a woman between the ages of 41 - 80. That's nice of him.

He must me a GILF Hunter.
7467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: how they spend the ICO money buying cannabis and OCBs to smoke pot. on: May 13, 2019, 03:00:29 PM
I don't even mind to answer to these ppl. I just wanted to see if the team has any official answer to the accusations of being potheads and smoking cannabis using the ICO money. Regarding your statement that the coin is going down. Indeed, you are right. It is almost all time low in satoshi. It is almost 19 satoshi and most probably it will fell down under 15 sat as well.

Do you ever tire of talking to yourself?

Even if it falls to 15 satoshis it will still be up considerably higher than it was back at the beginning of the year. Even after today's drop of 6% (rather insignificant by altcoin standards) its still up over 2x since its January price. You are being facetious by measuring the coin's price in terms of satoshis knowing full well bitcoin has risen 80% since January.

In short, NIM has outperformed BTC throughout the course of 2019 thus far.

What is your real motivation for continuing to attack this project?

I think this type of post is indicative of spamming behavior, which is defined by the rules as the following:

Quote
If a user is habitually posting obviously false nonsense ("obviously false nonsense" to an outsider, NOT to someone who follows or is involved in the discussion) just to stir up trouble, then it's considered trolling, which is prohibited. Such cases should be thoroughly documented in the report though (There are tons of reports that just say "trolling", but moderators don't have time to look through each user's post).

By the way, who gives a shit if they smoke pot? Its legal throughout much of the world. A lot of coders, developers and programmers do. Its not a point worth repeating hundreds of times as you have done through all of your mindless alt accounts.

Says the pothead himself. Useless fucker.

LOL I haven't smoked pot in a long time. Want to talk about "useless"? The price of NIM has doubled in the period of time since you first began your smear campaign. You really suck at FUD. You can't even spam properly  Cheesy
7468  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colorado school Shooting! on: May 13, 2019, 02:57:44 PM
Ok other than "more guns," what is your solution? There's already more than 1 gun for every person in America, so don't say "more guns."

Destigmatizing mental health problems making treatment more accessible for people that are starting to go down a bad path. Changing the way we label people forever due to a bad week they might be having. Making available other options rather than just putting someone on prescription drugs for the rest of their life. Allowing them an outlet to talk to someone so they never feel so isolated that they can start to rationalize splitting from human norms.

Good people only commit gun violence by accident, we can train safety measures to prevent that. Good people that succumb to mental illness because the cost or other factors listed above become more likely to commit intentional gun violence. People who want to be criminals are going to be criminals, no amount of laws or anything else is going to stop them. Mass gun violence isn't committed by criminals, as there isn't anything to gain from it. Crime is like gambling, you weigh the odds of punishment versus what you gain out of it. If you can make millions of dollars and you have a 50/50 chance of getting away with it, maybe you roll the dice. Thats not how shootings go down.

This is a well-reasoned approach and I agree with it. BTW I'm not a "ban all guns" kind of person. I think there's a middle ground that needs to be found, and increasing mental health funding and support should be a part of it. However, murder is still a crime, regardless of the reasons that made somebody snap.

Better to train and arm them all until there is no further need.

This is an awful approach.

7470  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Adab Haraam Exchange - Claiming to Be Religious But It Is A Scam on: May 13, 2019, 02:29:08 PM
I'm on there telegram bounty channel and the bad news to all their bounty hunter is, they are going from no KYC to KYC like all the other scam projects are doing, it's a very long campaign and OP has done a great job never giving us an update, it's a scam project that refuses to die, and that's very suprising.

I was reading through the Telegram chat for bounty hunters. At first the answer to "is KYC needed" was "no", then they changed it to "I don't know," then changed to "maybe," then at the last minute after everything was over it was changed to "yes." So they wanted as many accounts advertising the project as possible, but when it comes time to pay they conveniently change their rules in order to not have to pay for it. They did say they could change their rules at any time, and I would never work for such a project, but it still seems not fair to bounty hunters and indicative of scammer behavior.

I understand they don't want multiple account holders but why allow them to participate in the first place, other than the free advertising?

We'll have to wait and see what happens on the 25th.

No activity of any of you various accounts between May 2 and May 8, even though normally it is multiple posts per day. Had some vacation?

@Moderators: sorry, we go a bit off-topic here, but as long as you refuse to do something effective against those multiple fake users doing most of the "conversation" in this thread, I think it is fine to at least educate everyone about it.

It is telling that they _all_ shut up during the exact same period of time. These accounts (all the ones I red trusted and a few more) are obviously all owned by the same person. I really don't understand the beef they have with your project but their behavior is psychotic. Nobody in their right mind acts the way they do, and nobody should trust a word of what they have to say.

I'm not a moderator but I'm pretty well versed in the rules. The best chance you have of getting them banned is for spamming, which is against forum rules. However, its not easy. If the same account posts twice in a row under 24 hours (back to back comments), use the "Report to moderator" button at the bottom of their post and type "double-posting in under 24 hours."

I've seen some sore losers during my days at the forum but what this guy is doing is on a whole nother level.

Good luck.

So unless I agree with you I should butt out? So in your mind a foreigner has more to say about this than a US citizen? LOL. k.

This has nothing to do with any of that. I just want some perspective from other cultures, which I realize you are deadset on avoiding at all costs. I frankly don't give a shit about your opinion as I already know what you are going to say about any hot button political issue before you say it.

You will notice a few things in common with a high percentage of these school shootings. One of them is that 90%+ of them are in "gun free zones". Essentially this is just an advertisement that there will be no armed resistance on the premises. In short, the schools with armed teachers aren't the problem.

Individuals licensed to carry are allowed to carry inside gun free zones.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/922#q_2_A

There we are, once again back to blaming an object for the actions of humans.

An object designed specifically as a lethal weapon. We're not talking about cars or toasters. We're talking about something manufactured with the express purpose of acting as a weapon. Of course the humans pull the trigger. Nobody is debating that except for those intent on beating up a straw man.

Even if you could wave a magic wand and make all of the guns disappear, the intent to harm still exists. This means they will simply change the tool used, and there are plenty of available tools for mass murder at a rate equal to or surpassing firearms.

OK like what? Grenades? Dynamite? What did you have in mind that is easier to get than a gun?

Do you suggest they should start controlling gasoline like firearms? What about large vehicles? What about common products that can be turned into explosives? The problem is the fact that these people have intent to harm, not the tool they use to do harm with. I can beat your skull in with a hammer or I can build a house with it. No matter which I do it does not transmute a moral standing to the hammer.

Nobody uses a gun to build a house; thats the difference. Just like nobody uses a gun to drive to work. Nobody uses explosives as a cleaning agent. You are just being facetious.

As I said previously the focus on the firearms is just a convenient way for weak minded people to avoid looking at the issues that might cause these individuals to have such intent to begin with, which is of course a much more complicated issue. It is a far easier task to simply point at guns, throw your hands up, and declare the inanimate objects responsible. You play the roll of the savior when you are really the ostrich hiding from the problem looking for a convenient way to absolve yourself from any responsibility in the matter logically or otherwise. This is the harsh reality you hide from.

Ok other than "more guns," what is your solution? There's already more than 1 gun for every person in America, so don't say "more guns."

Just answer this... why is it owning a car increases your chances of dying in a car accident? Clearly cars cause auto deaths, therefore they should be banned without any examination of the benefits of car ownership right? RIGHT!

Again, more facetious foolishness. Cars aren't manufactured to be weapons. That's the difference.

You evaded my question. Answer it.

Just answer this: why do you think Americans have so many gun-related deaths each year as compared to most other countries?

Yes, green market is always good for ICO projects and for all cryptocurrency industry.

Your current list of customers:

ArtPro - The Art of blockchain
[POS / MN] An All-in-One Crypto Trading App
[ICO]AMANPURI – Ultimate exchange
SESSIA - SOCIAL NETWORK & CASHBACK SYSTEM
ParamountDax ⚡️⚡️ - Profit Sharing Exchange

I will soon be investigating all of these projects as because you are posting in their threads, they are likely scams.

I know you don't care because you got paid to spam for them already. But once I have demonstrated that all the clients that hire you are scammers, I will red trust you and your pathetic army of alt accounts.
7474  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colorado school Shooting! on: May 13, 2019, 10:34:52 AM
^^^ But all the teachers need to go armed. And the schools need to have several armed parents walking the halls at all times. And some of the more responsible students should be tested for their responsibility, and trained, and armed in the schools.

I'd like to know: what does this sound like to people who live outside of America? Would you want so many guns in the school of your children at all times? How about armed students?!

I don't know about you but to me that sounds like an incredibly bad idea. A huge number of things could go wrong.

Anyone wanna guess why the U.S. is also #1 in gun-related suicide?

Teachers shouldn't have to become combat-ready in order to do their jobs. Their job is already hard enough.

7475  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ethereum Basic is a Scam Project on: May 13, 2019, 10:28:57 AM
being private isn't a scam, are you too stupid to realize the creator of bitcoin is anonymous.

But the creator of Ethereum is not...

This may or may not be a scam per se but it looks like yet another shitcoin that will aimlessly wander the valley of altcoins, serving no real purpose other than providing a cashgrab for its devs.

In this day and age only creators of actually innovative blockchain tech are worthy of remaining anonymous. Copying somebody else's idea and tweaking it a bit is not a good enough reason to remain anonymous. If it is for you, you have to question your skills as an investor.

The last decent coin idea with an anonymous creator (he didn't even really create it so much as come up with the idea for it) was Grin. It was actually developed by Andrew Polestra, so this isn't even really a good example.

If you're reproducing old ideas, remaining anonymous is suspicious because it looks like you're just trying to make a quick buck without any negative blowback.

Bookmarked for future popcorn eating.

I've been following this saga for a number of months now so it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Will the campaign reimburse all of their participants for their 9 months of bounty participation?

Is the whole thing a giant scam??

To be continued...

You got proven wrong using your own statistics. Just own it for once in your life.

Yep, you are right, it was confusingly worded and organized. The rates per-capita are comparable. The problem is this is still not an accurate representation of actual crime rates as explained in detail here. India has a poor criminal justice system resulting in less officially reported crime. As enforcement goes up, the statistical documented "crime rate" goes up independent of the ACTUAL crime rate. In summary, you are still wrong even when you are right Nutilduhh.

OK well I know this is as good as its ever going to get regarding a concession from you, so I'll take it, thanks.

Can thank BTC for that.
Goodbye phone posting!

Good, which  one did you buy Smiley

Its a HP ProBook, thanks for asking. Not very glamorous but it will get the job done!

They put a 70% tax on imported electrical goods here, and since they don't make their own computers, its really a bitch to find a decent laptop at a reasonable price. Don't know why they do that -- its like they are making it harder for their own people to be technologically competitive. Its really hard to find a job online if you are trying to make a resume on your cell phone.

They have 1 cell phone manufacturer, called MyPhone, and while the name sounds a bit cheesy I bought my girlfriend one of their tablets over a year ago for $60 and it still works great. It really was life changing for her. I would buy their brand laptop if they made one.
7479  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Colorado school Shooting! on: May 13, 2019, 08:55:51 AM
Hmmm, okay. I posted a screenshot for a reason but anyway Let's try one more time in simple manner.

Murders rate Per million in India = 34.24

India has more than 1.2 Billion population. Let's say 1.2 billion for now, which means 1200 Million.

Now Let's multiply.

1200 * 34.24 = and you have your answer which is pretty close to murder rate.

For fun you can try this with US's population as well.

Hope this is helpful.

Yes lets get simpler... perhaps you should look up "per capita". You too Nutilduhh.

You got proven wrong using your own statistics. Just own it for once in your life.
