7481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: March 25, 2019, 04:02:50 AM
Yeah, I heard about it. You are absolutely right. It is like we are selling our data for $25. lol. Anybody understand why they are doing this? To learn the number of users in Blockchain?

I don't think so, they must have other reason behind offering free $25 for your identity perhaps they have plans of benefiting more as they could sell the IDs to other companies for much higher price numerous times to recover for their airdrop expenses. If you truly want to do an Airdrop I see no reason why KYC is need. We have other ways to prevent cheaters, use them.
7482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin in sports betting on: March 25, 2019, 03:55:46 AM
Have you ever tried using bitcoin in sports betting??

The first time I ever used/spend my bitcoin was on a gambling platform. Its felt good betting with bitcoin as I could stay anonymous for the first time gambling as back then I was underage but still love gambling. It thought me some time to understand how gambling with bitcoin worked but when I did I perfected the art and thought others.
7483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling.. way to loss on: March 24, 2019, 08:36:15 PM
Addiction or for fun, I won't really recommend gambling because my family was fooled by it. I was raised by gambling addicts and I see how they have fastly ruined their lives because of their addictions. If you still have the choice to stop it, please do so and you will definitely help yourself by doing it.

Do you here yourself, you won't recommend gambling yet you were a signature advertising gambling, people that think in your manner shouldn't be employed to advertise something they aren't ok with. We have numerous campaign out there that aren't gamble related go advertise those instead of doing so something you don't like just for some bitcoin. You need read this post "[Guide] Factors to consider before joining paid signature campaigns." take note of number 2 consideration

In gambling you don't lose totally because if you lose, you learn lessons and when you gain, you profit don't just let it get over your hand

7487  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [ASK] question About Bitcoin on: March 24, 2019, 09:26:00 AM
Hey Guys Grin, I Have Some question About Bitcoin

1.If There Is Any Hardfork, Who Must Agree? The Miner Or The Nodes?

All participants of the network, the miners just keep the chains alive. A hardfork create a permanent fork or split in the blockchain resulting to two chains and the old & new chains needs enough support from miners for them to continue existing.

Quote
2.What Is The Benefit Of Having A Lot Of Full Node(For The Network)?

Helps the network to grow by accepting more transaction and also validating those transactions. It helps the network stay decentralized.

PS: I strongly believe you should move this discussion to the technical discussion board as you'll get better explanation from members there.
7488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does crypto keep screwing me over?? on: March 24, 2019, 07:30:06 AM
First OP, what was your intention in buying those coins/tokens, were you thinking of trading them or investing to hodl. If your intention was to trade then by now you should know trading isn't for you (for now) you should learn more on how to buy during the dip not when you see fake signs of green on chart. If your intention was to hodl then why're you complaining, just keep on holding until you're satisfied with the profit to sell, don't bother about the short term blood bath.

In conclusion, you need change your criteria used to choosing the altcoin you buy maybe that's the original of your problem.

Is hard to double crypto on gambling, but yes is the faster way to do.

It isn't that hard, is just that people are too lazy and are looking for fast ways to make quick money instead of investing their time on aquiring some skills before investing their money. Gambling isn't that hard to profit from and again your mindset plays a big role in the outcome of our experience. Skills plus luck gives you profit.

7492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 23, 2019, 12:44:21 PM
most people are choosing shitcoin because they hope that someday the price will be quite high but with very high expectations, but as we know the results that will be obtained is not really some shitcoin can provide benefits but for now it is very difficult

This shouldn't be the right way to select altcoins to invest in. I get it if you invested like I did and the price dropped but investing in known shitcoins just to benefit in future pump and dump isn't hygienic and doesn't benefit the industry in any way. We should learn to put our selfishness and greediness in check if not profiting from the industry will be difficult to come by.
7493  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have doubt about altcoin on: March 23, 2019, 11:47:20 AM
Altcoins are different ... Ethereum or Tron also altcoins. However, no one considers them a scam. Therefore, if they say altcoin does not need to assume that this is a bad investment.

True although majority of altcoin are worthless and aren't worth your investment capitals. Many users learnt it the hard way as the  bear market have taught them life lessons as many have lost money to the extent even the next bull run can't rescue them. The mere reason an altcoin gives you profit doesn't mean they aren't scam or shitcoins, take bitconnect as an example.
7494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: March 23, 2019, 11:29:36 AM
Speaking about the ongoing stellar airdrop by blockchain.com which started as a fair one but now requires those interested in the airdrop to pass some KYC procedures, I ask, is it worth it? We complain of Facebook, Google etc of stealing our privacy and possible selling them for profit to other companies and praise blockchain of been decentralized yet we're willing to sell our private details to some centralized organization offering services related to the blockchain technology and we think it's safer? I get it that the bear market has affected numerous newbie that came into the market in 2017 but I ask again is just $25 worth your privacy?

I suspect this moved by them as a deliberate attempt to steal users private details (identify), first they made the airdrop looks so simple and easy thereby deceiving numerous customers into believing they would get free $25 after they have trapped their victim, they then introduce kyc to steal their identity.
7495  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't join spam bounties. Easy money does not help you to (quickly) get rich! on: March 23, 2019, 11:16:13 AM
Speaking on your topic, it's simple as saying easy come easy go. Money that comes easily such as promoting Scam tokens through bounty to help defraud others doesn't last long, that's the reason we have numerous scams carried out by the same set of individual those type of wealth won't make you rich if that's the reason for engaging in such act and if you partake in any scam bounty on forum you're liking to get red tagged as DT members frown against such act.
7496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: March 22, 2019, 12:26:32 PM
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Why did you bought those coins in first place? After you answer that question ask yourself if those coins still fulfill that purpose.

What other purpose could you guess altcoin are bought for except making profit? I bought the tokens because I had spare cash mostly gotten from fork coins and also through my cashout policy on well established coins. And no one could had predicted the type of bear market we're experiencing we only anticipated a correction not this massive decline in price. Cash possibly lost in those token doesn't concerns me I just want to know why you're still hodling those shitcoins.
7497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Locking Bounty Rewards To Avoid Dumping on: March 22, 2019, 10:11:27 AM
Locking bounty allocations won't prevent dumping instead it'll encourage it due to anger from bounty participants when those allocation are finally distributed. Many projects thinks locking bounty allocations is the solution to their tokens or coin dumping not knowing dump of coins/token are result of lack of faith in the project and excessive supply of it in the market due to selling of tokens with bonuses in presale for very cheap price.

Irrespective of what allocation gets locked be it investors, advisor, team or even bounty allocations. A token/coin without a future will still get dump and those with little real world application might suffer some few decline in prices but in long run will be profitable.

7499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Strategy on: March 22, 2019, 06:00:00 AM
Gambling sites know all the Strategies which can make the customer win, so they have already the control in place.

You can't general this, although some gambling platform employs researcher to research on new gambling strategy and study then to help improve their platform, not all gambling platform can afford that especially the new ones and beside new strategy are coming out so the gambling platform can't know all the wining strategy out there but they could be aware of majority.
