I am not sure how many coins/tokens will survive because there is no further information on every exchange that will delist the coin. We already see xrp, xmr, dash, zec, and maybe more coins/tokens which will be delisted on the exchanges. If that project does not have supports anymore, then the project will not run and the coin/token will be delisted soon. We need to analyze more to find the potential coins/tokens, so we do not buy the wrong coin/token.

With the increases of bitcoin price, I think that will make some gamblers feel that they need to reduce their funds to playing gambling in bitcoin amount. And if the site can add the other coins, that will help the gamblers reduce the transaction fee and do not need to spend too much satoshi.

Four hours after the transaction occurred and the price of Bitcoin is now sitting at $29,250 so if anything, it was probably done around midnight somewhere in the world to avoid detection on New Year's Eve. (And was probably an automated transaction too) So there is nothing much change from the bitcoin price from yesterday until today because the price now is $29,400-$29,600. But if I see at the market, the progress of bitcoin price to increase still open, and hopefully, this weekend we will see another high price and who knows, the price can break $30k. The green candle comes again to the market, and I hope to push the price to increase more. |

We already have ethereum in the number 2 positions and a new comer polkadot, link, okb, and cel that can compete with the old altcoins with good position. And I think there are many more altcoins which can increase and lift the position at the market. But we need to follow the crypto journey on the market to find out which altcoins can get better position later.
I agree that there will be a lot of altcoins that are growing reasonably well and could enter into long-term investments, but I still believe that the current top-ranking altcoins have a better chance of increasing sharply compared to newer altcoins. because last year the top-ranking altcoins had not made any significant moves to follow in the footsteps of bicoin. perhaps this year is the time for the top-ranking altcoins to make the move to deliver their latest ATH that many current altcoin holders have been waiting for. bitcoin will certainly continue to allow top-ranked altcoins to move freely during this year by helping to provide a boost with their increase. I think that is because people in the last year prefer to choose the new projects which can grow, and they see it happens to some altcoin. That is why we saw that some new altcoins can survive in the long bear trend, but that coins still need to compete with the old coins that still have the power to rise. It could be the institutions or the whales that already have a big amount of bitcoin, and we do not know. I wonder what will happen to the market after that transaction. I don't know how to put this but we've seen other alts continue to rally up this 2020 but I think it's different from what we've seen in 2017 were there are massive gains from alts. Can we still expect something like that especially this year 2021 and what do you think is the altcoins/s that may trigger the alt season (redundancy at it's finest)?
We can still expect to see some massive gains from altcoins, but the gains will not be too big if the bitcoin price does not increase more than $30k. The altcoins themselves still search for the right moment to increase, and the altcoin trying to increase step by step. It will be different than what we saw in 2017, but the altcoin season will still coming in the future. |

Most U.S. based exchange had started removing/suspending XRP on their market, the reason why XRP price had a free fall even with investors' effort to keep the price going. Nobody knows where will this issue take XRP, if the lawsuit keeps on and Ripple losses it, XRP will have to say goodbye to the market completely.

What I know is, Holding is the only way to go, especially for long-term holder making the real profit. Short term hold is not good, We all regrets who sold early and made little profit. Cold storage is not prone to attacks online, the only risk of security for cold wallets is that it is physically stolen from you. Unlike Coinbase which locks some users accounts, you can access your funds anytime. You have to watchful because cold wallet are far more inconvenient when you are trading.
I understand that the online platforms are prone to cyber attacks but doesn’t the FDIC insurance make that a non issue? The frozen accounts thing is concerning. I wonder the reason? Every person who has bitcoin will know where they can store their bitcoin, whether they will use online platforms or cold storage or a temporary wallet. I am not sure if the FDIC insurance can help them get their funds back once their account gets hacked by the cyber attacks. If that is our money, we need to know how to store the funds in a safe wallet, and we do not have to use the third party services, especially not using the online platforms because we do not know if they can always protect their member accounts or not in the future. |
