Besides cryptocurrency, I would invest in Forex Trading and Writing. These two ventures are the excitement and feel I have. Of course FX controls trillions of dollars in marketcap and is far more stabilized than crypto market at the moment. While writing has always been a hobby.

I also have an appreciable portion of investment in Ardor. I bought in when the coin was almost less than nothing at the same time I bought dogecoin and bytecoin too. Today, ardor is showing strength and it is worth $0.55. But I don't think there is any issues with the coin. OP, is the rise in value getting you scared or what because that's how your question sounds.

You are right with your observation OP. Personally, I have had a few situations were I had vituperated certain threads because of repetition. Some a few posters had felt my observation was not necessary; just as some will feel about you now. Well, I believe the major cause of this is laxity on the part of posters who find it difficult reading through what had been said before.

I sold some at 10,900 hoping it will fall again to rebuy in the 9000's as I purchased some around 10,300... Do you guys think another temporary slump will happen soon? Or cut my losses and rebuy now at over 11k?
Of course bitcoin price will fall from time to time even though the projection for 2018 is $25,000 per coin. It is called correction. But don't expect it to fall to your expectation to trigger off a buy. People should stop fretting each time bitcoin takes a correction. It has come to make a mark in the world economy and upward it shall continue to rise because of its value.

Please, I ask again. Anyone to direct me on where or how to locate the private keys for NEM wallet. I have been unable to access mine since payment was made here. I guess I ought to uninstall and then reinstall the wallet. I can't do this if I don't have the private key unless I would lose my coins.

How do I go about buying zcash? What's the best exchange?
Binance exchange, because that doesn't require a lot of the verification just like what already happened if you are trying to use the birfinex or another exchange site. And the exchange site is very reliable if you are seeing the majority of the binance users. They've not had a lot of the problem just like bitfinex. Binance is good, no doubt about that. I use it. But you MUST do the compulsory verification before you can get your money out, even if it is a mere 0.005btc. OP, you can check here for a list of exchanges and you make your pick: https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Of course, it is very clear that each time bitcoin bleeds the altcoins cry. That has long been established even though it shouldn't have been that way. Bitcoin and altcoin should be parallel like pairs in forex trading. That way we know what crypto to buy whenever btc is down.
By the way, what happened yesterday wasn't a sharp fall. It was a simple correction. Bitcoin couldn't even break below the 25MA. Now it's back up trend.

I just joined an ICO, is there any possibilities that I will be scammed. They have just collected $5-10 million.
I have been involved as an investor in a few ICOs and I know there are decent ones out there. Research should profit you OP or any other person going into ICOs as that woukd enable you sieve through the scamming ICOs. Bitbase just proved it by running away with investors money. Just do your research before investing.

You are absolutely right about the decrease in claims from faucets as bitcoin price increases. I once experienced this with dogecoin when I started newly in crypto. It used to be two doges per claim until it was decreased to 0.5. But really, faucets are a complete waste of time if you asked me.

You are right that some cryptos may have really diversified from Bitcoin but the truth still remains that Bitcoin is the crypto pioneer. Every other coin should live with the altcoin tag because one way or the other they are building on what Satoshi started using the blockchain technology. These other coins are alternative to the bitcoin.

After 3 failed attempts to get in on the ICO, I tried to withdraw my BTC that I deposited. And guess what??? No luck.. Its been pending for 3 days with no TX ID. Looks like they're keeping it. Good luck to you guys.
It looks like I've been robbed. :-(
I am not sure the company seeks to scam you or anyone. From what you have explained it is an obvious strategy of ICOs. They don't allow you withdraw your bitcoin from their site in frustration until after the ICO. Almost all the ICO I had participated in were like that but I got my Bitcoin back where I failed to buy in. Just wait a like, dude.

Bitcoin might drastically go down deep following the sudden surge in price. If am wrong you can correct my impression thank you.
Your fears are understandable but they are unfounded. The continual rise of bitcoin does not in any way automatically translate to an inevitable crash in price. Corrections are bound to happen and that is just it. Bitcoin can never see the $5000 level again. I am not sure such a fall will happen again considering the shortage in supply and the hyped usefulness and demand it has.

Looks like the ponzi scheme is getting exposed and coming to an end shortly. UK Registrar of Companies has threatened to shut down BitConnect and dissolve its operation. BitConnect has two months to prove “cause to the contrary” until the decision has been formally enforced. Should the company fail to comply with these terms, the government agency will strike off its registration and seize its assets.
BitConnect was registered by a British man going by the name of Ken Fitzsimmons, he holds 75 percent or more of the shares in the company.
For those of you that are still participating in BitConnect you should get out now while you still can.
So, why has it still not been shut down my dear FUD spreader? The truth is that we tend to label whatever we dont understand a scam this day. That is the practice and this is ignorance at its peak. Was bitcoin not labelled a scam in its wake? Even now some still think and insist that Bitcoin is a scam. I have seen many coins labelled scam but have proven not to be with time. Only time can unveil this. I hope that those of you that are still participating in BitConnect get out while you still can, in 2 month max Bitconnect will be shut down and lot of people will lose money. Stay away of this scam, it's the same thing like Onecoin a obvious scam !
Onecoin was never a cryptocurrency. It was purely a Paper Company whose owners wanted to fraudulently raise money for by deceiving the public through the crypto label since it was the in-thing as at then.

Actually I don't know how many altcoin are in the cryptocurrency world. but i know just listed on coinmarketcap have more then 1320 types altcoin. Just you see here: https://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/Coinmarketcap.com doesn't have all the coins listed. Apart from those at ICOs, there are several others through with ICO and are now operating but are not listed on the CMC. Examples are hextracoin and Westerncoin. So, I think it's a tough call getting the exact number of cryptos existing.

What is your view about lending coin? Bitconnect, Hextracoin, Regalcoin, Firstcoin and many more.
I just see profit from lending, where is that profit from?
Ya, there are a whole lot of them. I must confess that I really dont know where or how the daily interest from these coins come. But I like the idea that these interests do come. Here is a site list of the lending coins: https://icoreview.siteWell, scam or no scam I withdraw my interest every month from bitconnect and this has been helpful. I truly don't think lending coins are for the purposes of scamming. But then shit does happen.

I had actually thought that word is "Stupid" until now that I saw it spelt "Stoopid" Lol...I have to question my learning then. Well, I really don't think the problem is from religion per se. It is the overzealousness of worshippers that cause the world certain stupid and irrational practices and beliefs. For me, religion is cool.

You know that saying, "Use money to attract money" is applicable here. No matter how you want to look at it, one has to spend to get more people to the awareness of Bitcoin. Like for me, the first time I heard about it was on the radio. I was like what the heck is bitcoin. Then curiosity set in and I went searching on the Internet for more knowledge and that also brought me to this forum. So, I think organizing periodic seminars will help grow awareness for bitcoin.

Basically after some glorious trading, and mistakenly getting into pump with all of my BTC, this is what I got now. xD Guys... What do you think I should do with my 0.01 BTC? Donate to charity? buy me beer and drink myself into oblivion? You missed out a third option which should have been....Really? Do people still come here to ask inconsequential questions like this. Come on, give us a break. Every btc lucky dude knows it's either they plough back the coin to increase their trading stakes or keep it safely in wallet. Your options didn't contain that.

Try to re-install the application again and it should work. Keep your private key in a safe place before uninstalling and installing again. Pls, how do I get to find the private key? Where is it located actually?
