Any one want any miners? I think not....
It depends only on price. I am selling 7 PCS of ANY MINER S5, second hand, that have been running for 4 months. Contact me juneleekr@gmail.comSure you chose a wrong thread for WTS post, but PM sent. I would agree on depends on price. I would like to see the S5+ being sold to US. Kinda stinks they don't have it listed for more then China. I think it pushes 7T if the specs in another thread were right.

most people wouldnt trade to you directly for CC since it can be easily reversed, but you may want to try and exchange; i think coinbase offers instant purchases if you buy with a credit card iirc.
Coinbase the fee's are higher for CC. I can't remember limits on it. They will limit it based on account, more activity and older more you can buy with CC. With CC you risk chargebacks and stolen CC's. So this causes higher fees. I suggest finding a good exchange and set up a bank account for it. Most likely you can set up one with a small min amount to keep in it. Then use that account just for buying/selling BTC.

I speculate the new Spondoolies Golan Heights will come out in two weeks. It will have 7000 GH/s. It requires 3576 watts to run. It will be cool with liquid nitrogen.
So happy to welcome the Golan Heights
Are you trolling? I am guessing so with liquid nitrogen cool part. Can you provide if really speculating or if joke thread? If joke thread might move out of speculation.

I have been running 2 s3's on a corsair rm850 over clocked for about 6 months. The psu generates a lot of heat but it has coped well so far.
The RM series is a good one. I personally have had great luck with RM1000. Used with man different miners. Recently though there has been a switch for people to go over to server PSUs. In most cases you will save money going this route. Just make sure to get good gauge wires with it. A lot even sell in a kit. I was looking to buy server psu as I have bought a 3rd s3 recently that's running on a cx750. Too messy with all those cables so I want 1 psu to serve all 3. I was looking at an ax1500i but the cost is far too much, especially when an equivalent server psu is less than 1/2 the cost. The cx750 and the ax1500 are really not in the same class even. Were talking about very low and a very high end ATX psu. Either way yes best most likely to look into server PSU. If you get kit with server PSU, breakout board, and wires chances are that is best bet.

Get a signature campaign at this site. Most earn around 1 mBTC per day for Jr. Members.
I will add to this. First keep your BTC safe. Look into cold storage. Also avoid scams there are a lot of them around there. If it sounds to good to be true chances are that it is. On signature campaign they can work great and beneficial for both sides. Just make sure your post is substantial. If a bunch of small posts with not much in them it's asking for ban or ignore lists.

I don't think that it will be going to happen.
You might be careful with posting in multiple threads with very small posts that don't add much and having something in signature, it's kinda asking for a ban. If anyone want's to see how many wallets there just try to do a vanity address. You will see how many address's you generate if you are using GPU's. And getting one depending on how many variables can be very very hard. I use cold address's and sleep safe at night not worried about someone getting my address.

For most people using residential ISPs all over the world it is trivial to get a new IP:
1) if the ISP uses DHCP: first use "RELEASE" then "RENEW" while not having any reservation;
2) if the ISP uses PPPo{A,E}: just disconnect the PPP session and reconnect anew.
What are the residential ISPs that make it difficult to change the IPs? I have yet to see any, aside from the ones that don't even assign globally routable IPs but force the use of CG-NAT.
Depends on ISP really. I have a smaller ISP company not one of the big guys. It's possible to get new IP but the actually have it wired with a special battery backup. And if you do open up and unplug from battery backup, you have to wait a bit to try to get new IP so kinda a pain. But yes others and especially others using services as VPN's, Proxy's, etc IP is hard to stop them from coming back.

I got my miner today it is real and it does perform as advertised
Where did you get it from? And can you please post some pictures of unit and performance. A lot of us would love to see it.

Mikestang - going to change the IP address as it is currently set to what you suggested and hopefully that will work.
I have an old laptop I use for just this task - I change it's IP address to match the miner so I don't have to mess with my good network computers, then change the IP on the miner. Once you do that and 'save and apply' you'll no longer have access to it on the laptop, but you should be able to bring it up on your regular computer. Using a laptop or extra network router is a great way to do it. Laptop if you know what your doing makes it nice as it does not take long to setup. And can change to normal very quickly. Router is also not hard, if you have a extra and on normal router use a weird IP address range worth having around.

I was afraid at first to try a different brand then Delta's. But I was very happy with my Sanyo Denki. I use it on a S4 that a fan died. So far been a few months and working great and has been great. If you don't mind going with something not Delta it's worth checking out for sure.

Been gone for a few days. Just wanted to say this is the best sig campaign around. Since late March I have been apart of it, and am extremely happy.
Macro and Bitcoin Boys both have been great.

In practice it is better to look at Solar Power as a completely separate investment, particularly as the Solar Feed in Tariff will probably be more lucrative the mining.
This is the the best part of anwser. Solar/wind is just a whole different investment. You are far better getting cheaper electricity vs building one of these "green" miners. If you look into solar look into selling it back to electricity company, as likely one day you will not be able to compete with cheap electricity. When this happens you will be selling to the company.

Those pictures reminds me of how "user friendly" they try to be.. but in the end the picture really stands for laughing at the suckers who they scammed.
Its a shame though almost every new btc service ends up being a scam, and hard to see which ones are legit. I mean they could of started small and grow eventually instead of scamming 16k..
It makes me sad for the ones who got scammed. Yes they should have researched and not trusted new service. But still not really a good laugh. Everyone should stick with exchanges they know. It's really based on your country on which one works good for you. But go with a good one that has a very long history with lots of good feedback.

I haven't seen this idea posted before so here it goes: Considering the many shortcomings of moving a lot of cash between places far apart in two countries(theft, bad excahnge rate at local bureau de change, etc) and that credit card is not acceptable at every shop in every country, traveler's cheque would still be useful sometimes, however, companies like AMEX won't setup branches in every city of the world, and Paypal is not allowed by financial regulators of certain countries(like China)/So if a person A wants to travel to certain city where all the above-mentioned options are not practical, here is what he/she could do:
1.Arranging an agreement with a person B living in the destination city, who will pay person A an amount of fiat currency of the destination country upon receiving a certain amount of BTCs.
2.Person A travels to the said city.
3.Person A finishes the transaction with person B face-to-face using their computer to minimize the risk of a scam, and at the current exchange rate.
Your opinions/suggestions?
As far as buying use a exchange you get a better rate on a regular exchange compared to lets say localbitcoins. Also much safer using good exchange vs meeting someone. I would not describe BTC as a travelers check at all. If you lose your travelers check you can call and cancel it. It's a little more like a credit card then BTC in my mind. Btc has more of a investment side then travelers checks aswell.

Recently Bought Some Antminer S4+ with the new PSU units
I'm in north america so our standard is 110v not the 205V needed to power these units up
What kind of cord, and circuit box do i need to install to get these to power up and work properly in NA?
The first thing I would look up is if your able to do it yourself. It depends on your local rules/laws. You might need to get a electrician. But in short need a 220/240 breaker, I believe it's 12 gauge wire if I remember proper, and you will need a receptacle. As far as "circuit box" if you need to put in a new box get a electrician.

im in north america what kind of circuit do i need to wire up to get this to work everything for 240v uses those t shaped circuits and wires...can i simply wire up a dbl breaker and run 2 110v lines to a standard circuit?
On electricity don't try to be cheap unless you are asking for problems. Anwser is have I seen it done yes 2 separate 110 breakers and a higher gauge wire... yes but don't do it. It is very easy either get a electrician or learn how to do it (if legal in your area). And get a true 220/240 breaker. And then use the right gauge wire. With so much electricity if you don't have the proper wire you will get hot wire and possible fire.

Thanks for checking philipma. I didn't post in advance as I thought I would use my phone to post, but was at a computer security conference and did not feel safe doing that even. I was worried about someone doing a fake account of me if announced beforehand. Happily I think I made it without any new ones. On picks 3.26% to +3.50 Thanks!

I've been into bitcoin for more than a year now ,but I have never mined any bitcoin or altcoin before ,beceause I always hear that mining isnt profitable anymore and it needs a high capital etc ... but today this idea came to my mind ,whitch is using solar/wind energy to mine bitcoins ,does it worth triying ?
Short anwser ... no. Solar/Wind is actually a completely different investment. It is not cheap when you have a decent amount of gear for mining. You are better off following the cheap electricity. So putting the gear in a cheap electricity area beats solar/wind all day long.
