7521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increase block size or increase fees? on: June 08, 2015, 03:34:57 AM
i don't see any reason for increasing the fees at this point. the block reward is big enough that miners don't need extra fees in order to mining being profitable for them.
if anything should be done, the block size should be increased.
7522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on....you can buy things on ebay now....with Bitcoins! on: June 08, 2015, 03:33:08 AM
this is great news. i hoped that they start accepting bitcoin themselves but this is good too.

is there any place that you can buy steam wallet money (i forgot what it is exactly called, wallet code or something like that, that you can buy and gift that someone can top up their steam wallet)
7523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2015, 03:24:29 AM
I dont think that is a good thing to do. That is sure a ponzi. How can you make 2 btc just in 2 weeks? That is not logic

It's not a ponzi, no one else is involved. And no I am not recruiting people to join under me. May not have logic but I do not have to prove. Just see my bitcoin address

If that is not ponzi how are you making 2 btc in 2 weeks? That doesnt make sense. Its too easy to get that 2 btc just in a short period of time and that

transaction doesnt make that what you do is legit. Is there any proof besides the transaction? May be some link or printscreen that will make people

believe what you are doing that will be better
earning 2 BTC from a 1 BTC investment is nothing strange.
he said he earned it by gambling and trading.

with gambling, it is not possible to profit from an investment, you only have a "SMALL CHANCE" to win and you lose most of the time.

but with trading it is possible and many are doing it, but to do it after a friend tells you and you start and gain that much profit in your first try, this is BS.
7524  Economy / Gambling / Re: what is your favorite gambling place? on: June 07, 2015, 12:32:00 PM
i have always used Primedice for only dice gambling site. i have also tried some other gambling games but have not yet found anything that interests me enough to stick around.
7525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Stolen at Gunpoint in New York City Robbery!! on: June 07, 2015, 12:09:05 PM
that person create a new history so after this Robbery now he is the first person who get robbed, i think never heard that kind of story in the bitcoin's history anybody lost his coins on gunpoint so that is another interesting story added to there.
actually i don't think that he was the first one who got mugged.

he was the first one who got mugged and became known, maybe because he was from New York.

but i have heard that someone has got mugged before, there was a similar topic here long time ago about it.
7526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Booty Girls !!! on: June 07, 2015, 11:48:45 AM
In the future, people would do anything to get Bitcoins! What am I saying? They would do anything to get 1 little Satoshi, mBTC or uBTC!!!
what is going to happen in the future? are you implying that bitcoin price is going to moon so mBTC would be worth a lot?
but, people weren't doing anything to get little satoshi, mBTC or uBTC back when it was skyrocketing, what is going to change in the future?
7527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is sex selling bitcoin? on: June 07, 2015, 11:43:55 AM
Bitcoin doesn't need sex to sell, it sells itself. That being said, I do think the sex industry could really benefit from bitcoin. I think it's only a matter of time before they get involved.

What if the Bitcoin-payment processors refuse to cater to the porn websites? I have heard that the Bitpay has turned down a number of requests from porn websites, along with similar requests from merchants dealing with legal Marijuana (in Colorado) and those dealing with pharmaceuticals. We need more and more payment processors, as currently Bitpay and Coinbase are monopolizing the market.

I don't understand why they wouldn't deal with adult websites? Why turn business away? Doesn't make sense. I think Paypal do this as well. Couldn't websites just accept bitcoin directly and use their own bots to cash out the coins to an exchange automatically?
i think the biggest reason that websites don't accept bitcoin directly to their address and then sell it themselves is that right now there aren't many people using bitcoin and maybe it is a lot of effort for little reward if you ask me. so none of the big websites have done it yet.
7528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Booty Girls !!! on: June 06, 2015, 12:44:37 PM
This is turning into a huge circus anyways... we might as well bring in the clowns and the girls.

Question : Are we building a groundbreaking shift in technology or are we feeding and growing the sex industry?
when we can see porn websites start accepting bitcoin as another way of payment method in their sign ups or whatever, then it can be called helping bitcoin popularity.
a couple of chicks flashing and then asking for bitcoin, is not the way. it is so small and in most cases scam that it is not going to help anything.
7529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Being your own bank and theft on: June 06, 2015, 12:40:39 PM
So even if you keep your own coins secure, there is still a danger of theft performed with violence. You have heard of people who were forced to give up their coins/keys under duress.

Does this mean that multisig is a must?
it is a pretty good idea but not necessarily a must. there is no difference between keeping something like jewelries or gold safe with yourself and keeping your bitcoin private keys in a safe place.

you can print a paper wallet with your precious bitcoins in it and keep it with your other valuablesin a safe place
7530  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which comes first: Halving or max transactions exceeded? on: June 06, 2015, 12:35:39 PM
i think we still have time until max transaction limit is reached, so block having IMO is going to be here sooner than any changes in block size.
besides changing the block size still needs much more arguing and work to be implemented.
7531  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: June 06, 2015, 12:32:17 PM
Why pay money to a porn site if you can watch free? Cool
Any video can be downloaded from the torrent.
Well, some people have morals and respect other people's works and intellectual property. Yet I doubt that people watching pron online are are even considering that making porn movies/photos is not cheap.
Again I doubt that associating bitcoin with porn will do any good to bitcoin image. Bitcoin will be pigeonholed as currency of terrorist, extremists, hackers and porn lovers.
porn industry is a big industry and if it comes into bitcoin it is going to be huge and will not change anything about the fact that bitcoin is like any other currency.
is dollar pigeonholed as a currency of terrorists or porn lovers, .... yet it is being used by all those groups and no one thinks any different.
7532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: if I disconnect my pc will my BTC be safe on: June 06, 2015, 12:28:47 PM

or you can write your private keys in some place that no one would expect to find them, so they would not be subject to hardware failures

yes transferring your private keys to another place will be the best idea..or you can store all your coins to deep freezer...
it is better to sweep all your addresses into a new address that you create with your new wallet.
every wallet has this option to sweep addresses when you import, which means you send your coins to the new wallet instead of risking contaminating the new wallet.
7533  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FREE BITCOIN Sites on: June 06, 2015, 12:18:37 PM
Birwo.com casino offers 0,005 BTC immediately after signup. if you wager at least 0,2 BTC you can withdraw the Bitcoins. Really great offer.
this offer is still valid? I think it's been a long time. well I'll try it with a new account. thanks to information  Tongue Tongue Wink
there always is a casino or a similar gambling website that is doing some promotional giveaway in gambling section.
also you might find some free bitcoins in games and rounds.

7535  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: So fees may apply to some transaction !! on: June 06, 2015, 11:50:38 AM
I think for transactions of 0.01 you dont have to pay a fee as they are classified as high priority because of the large amount being sent, for transactions lower than that, what you can do (i also do it) is send your money at nights before you go to sleep with transaction fees of 2-5k sats, the savings add up over time

Not all transactions, and not always.

A transaction may be safely sent without fees if these conditions are met:

It is smaller than 1,000 bytes.
All outputs are 0.01 BTC or larger.
Its priority is large enough (see the Technical Info section below)

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

Of course if the network is too crowded it might not be so safe
what do you mean not safe?! Cheesy

the only thing that can happen if you don't send a transaction with fees, is that it might take a very long time (even a week) to get confirmed.
you can double spend the coins if they are not confirmed anyways.
7536  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is my wallet going to be compromised ? on: June 06, 2015, 11:43:53 AM
ok , i enabled my 2fa , and did`nt get any thread form last 48 hours.
run a full antivirus and malware scan on your computer, or even reinstall windows to be sure you have a clean and fresh start.
then create an offline wallet, preferably paper wallet to keep your majority of coins there and on your online wallet keep what you want to spend
7537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: June 06, 2015, 11:41:27 AM
Either trading (but it's hard to earn without losses there) or affiliate programs and freelancing are IMO the only three ways to really earn. Correct me if I'm wrong... but IMO most other things are either rip-offs or kind of "get $0.00000001 for free clicking ads"

trading bitcoin is something that requires experience and skill though, wouldnt really recommend it to the beginners without a good background in trading already.

newbie should start trading with altcoin instead, it is far easy than trading with bitcoin, there is a pattern that those alt follow, you just need to spot a new coin and invest immediately into that, usually they always rise at first, then there is a dump and the death of it

and this is the reason why you see some users in the official thread of that coin, that are selling off market, to catch the train later, i've done it plenty of times in the past and always worked

Will love to venture into that too but what is the main requirement for starting?
visit altcoin section of the forum, and start reading some topics.then go to an altcoin exchanger and sign up. watch the market and learn.
and as always buy low and sell high
7538  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin price stability !! on: June 06, 2015, 11:36:57 AM
price is not even close to being stable. is this a joke?

what is this link? why don't you post the direct link instead of the shortened one.
7539  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: June 06, 2015, 11:35:13 AM
Buy CLOAKs hold them for staking and you will earn more then 1 BTC in a year Smiley
why CLOAKs? how do you know that in a year you can gain 1 BTC profit from it. besides altcoin prices are always falling so the initial investment will go away when it goes down.
7540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Circle Android app has 10,000 to 50,000 downloads. on: June 05, 2015, 04:07:06 AM
wasn't it circle that was giving away $5 worth of bitcoin to everyone to attract user to itself?

if the 10,000 50,000 downloads are related to their promotion it doesn't show anything about the popularity or anything about the service. it shows that so many people got $5
