7521  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: February 21, 2017, 01:45:41 AM
Judging from the trend in the last two years, yes holding bitcoin is profitable in the long run, anytime is always the best time to buy Bitcoin because,Bitcoin grows continously in fact experts are predicting a rise of up to $20,000,can you imagine that it only started at $0.30..
yes to me i am also in favour of long term investment and specially when the price of bitcoin is trading above 1000 USD and there are always chance that the price of bitcoin can take a little correction. i think holding bitcoin for a long time i think more than for 4 to 5 years  will be more profitable.
Holding is no question the best way to earn profit this days, we have seen how the price rise substantially and for sure that will continue to rise in the future. However, being an investor, we need to minimize the risk even how good bitcoin is, we must set a desired figures to be achieve and the term that we will hold until. That way, we are investing according to our plan and not just hoping we are lucky.
7522  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: February 20, 2017, 12:00:41 PM
bitcoin I managed to save is about 1 BTC, because I was new here, so not many places that I worked
it includes a fairly large amount dude, at least I takes 3-4 months to save 1 BTC. and even then using many methods?
how much time do you need to get that 1 BTC ?
I think it depends on your skills, if you are trying to get that only by using signature campaign then you are going to wait for a lot of time to accumulate bitcoin but if you are good at trading then you could easily get that amount in 2 or 3 months at worst.
Signature campaign is not considered as your starting point to earn bitcoins, your post are paid but should be constructive and it has a limit, it is not considered as an income if you think straight. The benefits you can get from the campaign is more on the learning that you can read by staying active on the forum, if you do want to saved bitcoins, you have to buy or set a capital to venture in investments opportunity in the crypto.
7523  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 11:38:13 AM

--snip--

Exchange like coins.ph have issues too on where you get your Bitcoin.  If they found out or traced that you get your Bitcoin the illegal way, or in a shady way, they will freeze your account.  Or if you have a numerous shady transaction.  There is some inquiry in Coins.ph thread in Philippine Local Board about his relative's account being freezed.  Same way how the BSP wanted to implement a more strict compliance by Exchanges like Coins.ph, Rebit.ph etc. on AML/KYC.  They even implement a submission of yearly report of theses exchanges.

It's not strange for me. There are and other exchanges too, like as Coinbase which follows the same policy that is tracking how their users spend their bitcoins not only for illegal activities but to gambling sites too.
Most of my money is coming from gambling sites and I do not think it is illegal in any way since the gambling sites that I am playing is not operating in the Philippines, if they will be very strict, I guess we have no choice on that but to comply. Since it has not happen yet, I guess it would be fair for us if exchanges such us coins.ph will release an official statement for our awareness.
7524  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - CONGRATULATIONS TO WONTON FOR WINNING 300BTC on: February 20, 2017, 07:45:57 AM
Wow just saw bitdice's increased max win, it's over 100 btc now! looks like a lot of folks have invested into bitdice's bankroll.

Business is booming for Bitdice.  Congrats to Alex and his crew.  I hope they have a more prosperous year this 2017 and they get to expand their business to offer more games.  Player vs player games will be excellent if they do decide to have it.  I still vote for Yatzy to be on the site.  It's one of the most fun dice games I have ever played since I first started gambling.  You can read more about it here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yatzy
Reading on the link it is really an interesting game and bitdice company should put this one on the site which really attracts more potential players on their site. I agree on what you have said Bitdice business is booming now because we could able to see those indications clearly and they do really deserve this and hope to continue all over the years.
That gives us some kind of fulfillment on our part as well since we also made effort to support by promoting BitDice. I'm pretty sure the success will continue as bitcoin is getting more popular too, with the nice promotion and good support, it will make people stay and always satisfied with the entertain they are getting.
7525  Economy / Economics / Re: Build a Bank Of Bitcoin on: February 20, 2017, 05:38:48 AM
You know, wallets can be your own bank. It doesn't make sense  to me if you are making a bank for bitcoin. I haven't seen any bank like this. Why dont you make a wallet with unique features? Bank means you need to get under the government control which bitcoin users dont  want to be involve with.

I'm kind a little bit confuse of why he is going to build his own bank, Honestly, as a bitcoin fanatic we must understand that by keeping Bitcoin in our own wallet is obviously we are the bank of our own BTC. isn't common sense only, its logic isn't? I think that guy is like to implement the segwit which is not in favor to us for sure.

I dont know if this is as same as fiat bank or not. But if you have your own bank, this will earn you more of coin and if many people put their coin on your bank too you will get more and more coin that overflow on your pocket so I think if this can really be apllied I would like to join his bank too

Anyway OP does not mentioned about opening some bank of bitcoin or make a pile of bitcoin that looks like a bank of bitcoin
Probably it's a regular bank that caters bitcoin as deposits because that is something new that in my knowledge is not happening yet. With banks accepting bitcoin as deposits, it will give the entire bitcoin economy a good publicity to the public and will spread awareness to the people.

I hope it will happen in the future to come as I believe as long as the government will know how to regulate it, their would be no problem with them.
In fact, it will give additional revenue to the banks as their deposits will increase coming from us.
7526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Supertition on: February 20, 2017, 05:13:14 AM
I don't believe in mystical things like that I think gambling is the calculation of figures and has nothing to do with mystical
That's a more matured way of thinking but we cannot blame people if they believe on that kind of thing. We have our own method and we are the only one who can tell if it is successful or not. But to be realistic, since gambling is based on chances, we should calculate our chances based on the analysis  we arrived.
7527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 18, 2017, 07:26:42 AM
World and under? Just the opposite of the expectations.

For the all stars games I expect West and over.
Yeah, that's right, I log in to my sports betting forum account and people there are shouting the over, I though they are right so I follow, unfortunately it was a little short. I lose today but I will be getting my loses tomorrow and I believe tomorrow would be fun than today's game.
After this all star game, teams has a long break so they could study there past games and figure out how to win. I hope I will be able to see some surprises after the all start game, Dallas was on my top team to reach the playoffs as I miss seeing them winning.
7528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: February 18, 2017, 06:47:00 AM
Bitcoin can be used only for online marketing. It cannot be used for physical use.   Still many countries use real money and many people don not know about online transaction. It is impassible to use bitcoin by the people those who do not know about online transaction. But real money is used by all kind of people.
We used real money and even if we will be asked now if what will we choose, I will surely hear an answer about choosing real money. Bitcoin is not the main currency here, it's just a payment gateway that we appreciate because it's fast and cheap but without real money we cannot make use of it.
The value depends on the demand and I don't think the demand will come from the majority of people in the this world, only real money have that kind of demand.
7529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 18, 2017, 03:07:13 AM
USA vs world today, no one is talking about it
Either team could win, at this time, world is better since Embid cannot play and Big porzi will surely dominate the paint. However, I am not confident enough as this is an all star game and no defense at all. I have bet on the over 294 of the game which close at over 298. Hope this one will win, anyway, good luck guys and enjoy the game.
7530  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: February 17, 2017, 01:46:28 PM
Thank you for the payment BitDice.
7531  Economy / Economics / Re: You should never trust banks on: February 17, 2017, 08:23:17 AM
As my observations, some of the banks are bankrupt without any valid reason, without making some announcements and they are not trusted. People deposited in a bank in a way that their money is safe there, they think that they are trusted but they actually dont know that they are wrong. Some banks their is like a bubble it disappear and well sorry for your money, it will all gone and never came back. But there are some banks also that are big, famous and trusted one, so choose the best one

I don't know of any country that doesn't charter banks as a means of regulation. And in modern industrialized nations, bank deposits are usually insured by the government so that there is public confidence in the banks. When a bank goes under, deposits that are lost are reimbursed to the public so they do not suffer the loss. But if you're going to some unregulated or unchartered bank, there will obviously be no deposit guarantee because the bank is operating illegally anyway. Depsositor beware?
Unfortunately, banks only cover up to a certain amount of what you have in your account as deposit insurance, so if you plan on putting all your money in a bank, better to choose something that has a very stable financial standing. In my country, rural banks are always the ones who are more prone to declare bank holiday because maybe of their client base, which mostly belong from the rural areas, and which doesn't always have the means to payback what they owe to the bank.
True, hence you need to make actions to divide your savings. In my country, insurance on deposit per account covers an equivalent of only up to $10,000, thus, we have to limit our deposits per account. If fact, in my case, I have to deposit with different banks just to make sure I'll stay in the safe side.

I have worked in a bank before and it was closed by the government due to non compliance of the law, and too bad there are people who deposited more than the maximum amount covered and they only recover up to the insured amount.
7532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: February 17, 2017, 07:35:37 AM
you can be rich from gamble only if you are lucky and hit the "jackpot" or the biggest price at which you are betting, only one good play is needed to make you rich, in my case i didn't had the chance to hit that thing, but i keep trying with the best game that offer the best probable one, the one that make you lose less

That is the only way to become rich in gambling. Because if we are going to play gambling on a daily basis with the goal of becoming rich we are just making deceived to ourselves. It's very hard to become rich in gambling but if you will run a casino which is popular to the gamblers, it's also another way to become rich.
It's pretty easy to become rich with gambling if you either own a casino or you have invested in someone's casino. While I agree that if you hit jackpot you can become rich but hitting a jackpot is not that easy and if you keep thinking about it you will never win indeed.

Chasing jackpots is rather more worse because jackpots are made in order for the gambler to be hopeful while he is gambling normally. Like in bitsler you see a jackpot but pretty hard to hit, doesn't mean that we would start gambling for that jackpot itself.

And that is why I lose my hope now because chasing jackpots is my aim since then but from knowing the truth about gambling. I just treat it lightly and I don't intend to think that I can be rich by gambling and now pursuing this type of goal is better to do for working hard with your other source of income such as real jobs.
Considering the opinion of other people really helps, gambling is for fun so why would we think of becoming rich when what really happen are just spending. Winning a lottery does not happen to all of us, therefore we do not have to take it seriously, it will just come in due time if we are still alive waiting for that time.
7533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: February 17, 2017, 06:31:44 AM
As of yet I'm only earning through signature campaigns and other small services so I voted for poll. But I agree with many statements made that trading is the best way to earn bitcoin.
I am just not brave enough at the moment or have enough knowledge to earn with trading for now but in future I hope I can make some with trading also. I lost quite a bit of my btc in cloud mining scam (remember hashocean?) so not going to jump into trading so quickly.

Well, in that case, I suggest you try trading soon when you already learn about it. At first, it's really hard to earn and sometimes you could fail, but that's okay, and it's part of learning. Just don't forget what you learned each time you fail in which altcoin to trade. Investing on those ponzis are not advisable as it is much riskier than trading.
In trading you can strategies because you can get relevant information as your basis of your decision, however don't get too comfortable at first success, there is no trend that would last forever, everything is changing based on the real market performance of whatever asset you are trading.

That is the reality and you have to embrace it, while the market move, you need to move as well, and be updated with the latest news affecting your trade.
7534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: February 16, 2017, 05:39:58 AM
I have never heard an gambling casino site with 0% houseedge. If there is one so i wonder how they profit from that

There are still, I am not sure which ones but I know there are some out there. You could probably check out this thread for the links and check it out yourself. They still profit even without house edge. House edge is just an "edge" over the gamblers for the casinos. However, even with 0% house edge there is still a great chance that the casino will win over the long run, since statistics will tell you that no matter what settings you put there will ba a complete losing streak for infinite number of times too.

I agree the losing streak of anyone would also be infinite. I've tried using a win chance of 90% and even at that rate I lose 10 in a row, well that was because I was on autobet and using a martin gale system that I modified. That was how I proved that the chances of losing is still great even at high chances of winning.
That is based on luck, gambling sites does not operate just to give the bettors a free money. Even at the winning rate, there is no guarantee you will win, and you are a newbie in gambling if you think that is a guaranteed win. I have been in gambling for years and I have tried almost all the method available to win in dice games, but to no avail, I never get the satisfaction I aim, most of my winnings are just for short term.
7535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: February 15, 2017, 09:09:10 AM
I do not think that this is the future of money, but the future of the digital payments on the Internet, of course it is !
Anything could be happen in the future, I am sure you are aware that transact using bitcoin is very easy and fast. paper money current condition worsened, however the government suppress impairment of paper money, in my opinion will not change the character of paper money that is decreasing in value every year. I think it's time for us to use a currency that is more suitable for the present time, the currency that was obtained from mining such as gold or bitcoin is very suitable for the present because it is quite resistant to inflation.
Because money are suppose to be spent and not saved, we have to invest our money to grow and to avoid inflation. However, even if bitcoin is fast and easy, there is no doubt that money is still the easiest as evidence by the total number of users. Further, it is not only because it is easy and fast, bitcoin will replace money, we have to get the trust of the majority of people who uses money and without the support of the government, that is not possible.
7536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: February 15, 2017, 08:52:50 AM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
it might be hard to tell for now if that can happen now but as time goes on... but it will be defficult for another crypto currency to come up one day to beat down bitcoin...
That true, the way I see it, bitcoin will continue to dominate the crypto-world. It's popularity has been increasing and it has caught the attention of the media due to the recent recent great price increase.
This situation gives us a good chances to be profitable as with the help of the media, the increasing awareness will happen. In addition, bitcoin also raise the interest of big businesses due to the good adoption rate and they want to capitalize the market.

Banks are even thinking of making their own blockchain life as they are inspired with the unique system that attract people.
7537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most of the money on: February 15, 2017, 06:07:28 AM
Most of my earnings are from dice. The bad thing is that most of my losses are from dice as well. It's just so easy to play but the odds are on the side of the house of course.

mostly we get the money from the dice game, but most also lose money on the dice game. Dice games are games of chance, games tempt fate. Place a bet many times in a long time. We did a couple of wins when lucky, but the number of the defeat was too much, and sometimes even more than the number of victories.

not sometimes but most of the times especially if we keep playing and aiming to recover back loses its always or most of the time turned into another loses dice game like what you defined is just a game of chances and pure luck whatever we try its still a big chances of losing our bankroll better to try finding other gambling games that you can have a better advantage like strategy games which you can review and study to have some good looks.
People keep telling that we will just lose in the long run if we play dice but still we are here patronizing the game. Being a real gambler, we love to take bigger risk and dice offers us a fast result and a transparent kind of game. Also, it is a very simple game that even minors can easily understand so I guess that attracts more gamblers in the community. Not all people are aiming for long term success, so dice is fit for them.
7538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: February 15, 2017, 05:43:19 AM
the most day for me to gamble is on weekend because on this days i am out of work
I've got to be honest, I actually admire you discipline.I wish I could follow your control so I would not be gambling so much, my urge to gamble is very high as I want to do it regularly and even in the office I cannot help but to open my favorite site and gamble. Sometimes it already distracts my focus in work and will affect my performance, I have to control myself now and just do it occasionally.
7539  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: February 15, 2017, 01:14:37 AM
Sad to say in my country I can only buy loads in pure bitcoins ! I cant do online shop , buy some foods on a fastfood chain or even book a flight with my bitcoins I hear that on other country they support this kind of transaction , Hoping it will be implemented also here in our country because I dont want to use fiat again I am already Happy with bitcoins!
Very rarely, where you can buy food for bitcoin. More such tires to the car, or other technical issues it is possible to solve using bitcoin, the rest is very difficult. Not yet able to use bitcoin over all the power and desire.
for today is bitcoin has not been widely accepted in society so we have to be patient dude, for the time being rather than you having trouble spending, so it is better to exchange it for a fiat to spending
I think the problem is that the vast majority of people still do not even know Bitcoin, and it is not possible for them to accept something they don't know. The important thing is that it is possible to realize that most people who understand how this technology works begin to use it for different purposes, such as storing value, making payments, or using it to invest in other digital assets, something that becomes easy with the use of Bitcoin.
yep, many do not know bitcoin especially for older people who may be too late to learn in the field of Internet technology and more teens are using technology to play games, and also some countries do not accept bitcoin as a legal payment it made the founders of the store is difficult to supply materials (food, clothing)
They have their comfort zone and they are getting used to with the conservative way, we the new generation are very aggressive with adopting the new technology and I believe the world is moving fast therefore we should go with the flow. Every day there's an opportunity but bitcoin is something that we should not miss, we can spend it but let us focus so much on investing it.
7540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: February 14, 2017, 12:27:54 PM
The most obvious difference from real money and bitcoin is when we use for transacting. If we send money with real money so it takes a long process and the cost is high, but after the presence of bitcoin then everything becomes a fast, effective and cheap.
i think it is the difference between the procedure of sending money. i think the real difference between the two currencies is that one is digital currency while the other is real and fiat currency. bitcoin is decentralize having same value everywhere and not under control of anyone while fat is centralize and always under the control of the state.

The speed of transaction and the fees are crucial characteristics of bitcoin which makes it different from fiat currencies. On the international level, bitcoin is far better than fiat in terms of cost and speed of transaction. Since bitcoin is free from any third party interference, there is less risk of dependability on someone in order to spend or receive our funds and that’s really big difference between them.
That's true, I have tried transferring money using internal bank transfer, but it takes 3 days to clear the transactions, in bitcoin I never experience that long, I just need to wait for minutes and the sender receive my transfer.

Moreover, banks does has not public ledger where we can easily trace the update of our transactions, and we just have to make follow with them with the status. What is stated here is only the disadvantage of banks and advantage of bitcoin but in general, despite of that, we are still force to use the service of the bank.
