I see the heading in Sportsbet Specials tab, but not the market under it, and if I click the direct link, it says Markets not Available, so I guess I missed it or the window closed in the hour I had to go offline, tsk!
No matter, got a couple of bets on this already so hoping for some fireworks anyway for those of you who did make it!
I remember Villareal fans in Anfield, the only match I attended, Europa 2016, where we overturned a 1-0 deficit. They were actually pretty chillaxed =)
@DarkStar_ Hope you got in on all those Money Back Euro specials!

Probably about the same amount of time it took for all those crypto fund owners and master traders took to admit they were wrong when they said 2017 was just beginning and $100k was merely a future footnote en route to McAfee's $1 million grand ambition.
Oh yeah, most never came back to say they were wrong, until people said it for them and they admitted it.
Either way, I hope they don't suddenly keep quiet now, these bear market pundits. If they go away I can't keep accumulating =(

Italy outright is today's Countdown special. I fear I will be putting money down every day with such irresistible odds! A Huge multiplier here! This guy went out on a limb and it paid dividends! 3610/1 !!
Wow. Fully deserved. I would have been too afraid to make the calls on some of those games, got the Spurs one wrong (opting for Villa upset instead) but what a boost he got from the final match day! [...]
Man, I would like to cheer you up, but looking out the window, I also see cloudy weather. + If I am not mistaken, then in this particular case it was not about a refund, you either lose or win with the odds of 2.36, (considering 51 matches). Although I cannot find a detailed description of this bet as the chat history only displays events from the last 2 days. It says clearly money-back if there is a 0-0 match, so seems to be win or void =) Watch out for Greece, Italy games, I guess haha. I put a nice one on Italy outright today, super boosted odds!

I do not expect a surprise in today's match and I bet on the victory of Manchester United. I consider them a team a class better than Villarreal. It is true that I thought the same before the rivalry of the Spaniards with another English team, Arsenal in the semi-finals, but the Gunners are now also a much weaker team than the Red Devils
Bookies should be pushing this down then from all the sentiment I'm seeing, not that it's a surprise since I don't really know many Spanish supporters heh. I did get yellow submarine in at just a trickle over 5/1 so I'll be hoping for some niggly antics. United are the classier, silkier team though for sure. Villareal have never won a major final. If United don't win this, it'll be a disastrous season considering the outlay. They beat us (Liverpool in Europa 5 years ago) before we trashed them at Anfield, so we know the Spanish are capable of upsets! Go Unai! =p

Thank you for this thread rdbase! Have said before am not knowledgeable in this sport but I spent a lot of time in my youth (more than I care to remind myself actually) watching muay Thai in very very small local tourneys but I totally enjoyed the atmosphere and build up (and betting haha).
Plus the streams are impossible to get live (with good quality) where I am, add the unnatural timings for me... but they do look a lot like muay Thai in some matches. Strawweight! That's my area!
Betting wise, seems tough as hell for me to find value though! Look at the Vegas 27 odds, worst underdog is 35/10:)

Turned out to be a pretty easy victory in the end, early goal, and then a second one, and then River Plate's red card spelled their doom, even if they still continued to attack and got their just consolation goal before allowing another in. Fantastic! You really ought to check out Sportsbet, for daily offers counting down to EURO in 16 days... some have been too good to be true "can't-lose" bets! Underdogs clearly Villareal, but I'm feeling good about this! 100 units at Fairlay on Villareal to WIN vs Man Utd @5.19. Other odds: 4.50 Units advantage: 69 Running advantage after 355 bets: +24,134 (+69) All-time cumulative: +62,532 Running units after 354 bets (58W|296L): +14,705 (+400)

I would like to see audits made in those commercial papers. I want to laugh together with everyone if those commercial papers were issued by Binance, Okex, Huobi and Poloniex. The Chinese hustling gang hehehe. Also, for everyone. Read all the articles about iFinex, Bitfinex and Tether from this website. https://bennettftomlin.com/It is one of the best source of information for tether skeptics. Hot damn I always thought Okex was S.Korean, a quick look up confirms I was wrong. Not that it would have mattered, their reputation precedes them. I come from a non-profit background and I used to think some of the audits in the field cut a lot of corners (but I accepted it as a consideration of the complexities of record keeping and security in environments with extreme instability)... and then I saw audits for small corporates in Europe later on and got a bit of a shock. So no surprise if Chinese hustlers can get away with more ridiculous ones. Thanks for the link! I feel like I've read some of his writing before. Used to follow Tether-drama a bit in 2016/17 (?), back when the idea of Spoofy enthralled me.

Results at 75th min currently: 0-0, and as far as I can tell, no cards. So I can't see if there were are corners, so the hope is that they are defending corners like hell in the Eternal derby... so frustrating I can't find a good stream. I took another one of this "you can't lose" bet I think. A goal in every euro match, money back if there is 0-0.
In two months let's see what happens, because I accidentally bet $ 100 on this outcome, (don't ask how, but it was really a mistake). The first thought that came to me was in the spirit ... damn, I gave this money to Escrow for several months. Btw, speaking of today's match ... the Serbian championship is so elite that google and sofascore do not index the statistics of past matches. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) You do not want to see how sofascore used to track some of the games in my local leagues --- history from 2009 games, and wrong scores entered from the reserves results actually when my club was actually still "alive" and not restructured for the nth time haha;) And hey, Red Star is prestigious man. 1991 man! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) 2021 Invincibles man! ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) P.S. The odds for your "escrow" was 19/1, though? And July 12th is the final, so it's really just a 6-week incubation period for your $100 to turn into $1900 or back;) And BTC will be up by then, so you're a winner no matter what =p

Not only has it rebounded but the bullish movement is still being managed, for analyst Mike McGlone of Bloomberg thinks that there is still the fact that BTC can reach $ 100k ----
Yeah, I know history isn't guaranteed to repeat itself, and really it's just the 2017 cycle that can really be compared to the current one -- in terms of volume, market maturity, diversity and participants, anyway -- but it's definitely playing out to the same composer's tune thus far, so we should expect a couple more retracements before that inexplicable boom to the true peak. It would be really difficult to see another similar retracement-then-peak if we do reach $100k though. That would be for me the marker to strap in for the downward spiral marking the start of the new cycle.

Some questions, when you start wondering, you kind of have the answer to it yourself -- self-answering questions I call them (tm).
Belief in a greater power, belief in invisible people, belief in intangible benefits and unprovable futures, belief in malevolent forces bent on destroying the unifying object? Heck, I've been guilty of believing far more ridiculous notions than Bitcoin;)

^ Don't really follow and I'm not sure there's a real trend to follow but I think it's obvious Spain's dominance is somewhat waning now that the core of the national team is also ageing (talking who else about Real and Barca shirts there) -- and it's an end of an era that the current EURO lineup for Spain has not a single Real Madrid player anymore. Even Aspas isn't named so clearly, Enrique wants to re-establish a new axis there. Good luck to him. Zidane and Koeman might want to take note.
England, I don't know. It's like we've been through 2 or 3 cycles of golden generations who fall short.
May will be full of EURO Blackjacks, now eh? And did anyone pick today's Sportsbet EURO countdown special? 21 or more goals in a group or money back. It reads like a no-brainer to me. Äm I the only one who reads this like a "you can't lose" bet?

Dead on the first leg, and Melbourne City were trashed today, so that acca was doomed all over. We go to South America today, Copa Libertadores and of course we choose a nice underdog Fluminense, to beat Argentina's River Plate. Form is actually similar in my eyes, obviously home advantage plays an important part, but neither has been solid so: 100 units at Sportsbet on Fluminense to WIN vs River Plate @5.00. Other odds: 4.81 Bet ID: 60ac9fb57b02080bf94d35a9 Units advantage: 19 Running advantage after 354 bets: +24,065 (+19) All-time cumulative: +62,463 Running units after 353 bets (57W|296L): +14,305 (-100)

sportsbet.io will have THREE sponsored teams in the PL next season. WATFORDARSENALSAINTSIt’s been a long, mentally tough season with no fans. It’ll be much more exciting next season. As a LIVERPOOL fan I haven’t enjoyed it too much, we were handicapped by so many bad injuries but we got top 4 & a CL place so I can settle for that. Enjoy the summer boys, enjoy the Euros, plenty to bet on at www.sportsbet.ioI’m looking forward to a break though after this season. Roll on next season with Van Dijk, Gomez & Henderson back, Thiago running the show, couple of new signings. MAN CITY we are coming for you! Happy summer everyone! It's late May where I am and still raining and gloomy, spring has been stuttering so hope the warm weather comes here. Either way, locking in loads of bets for EURO -- so far the countdown specials have all been incredible value, I loved the money back if 120+ goals aren't scored which more or less works out to 2.5 goals per game average. But Sportsbet seeing 3 teams in the EPL, wow. And as for Liverpool, going to be so tough to fill in the gap Gini will leave, still hoped he'd stay on at the last but it's about time we fixed out back so Fabs and Hendo and Thiago can rule midfield. Trent said he took the season's bad form personally, and I hope the lads all feel the same way. We go again!

AFAIK each country ranks up contestants from the one having the most televotes to the one having the least televotes. And then gives 12 points to the first, 10 to the second, 8 to the third, 7 to the fourth and so on till 1 point. So only the 10 first countries can receive televote points. That means UK, Germany, Spain and Netherlands just didn't reach the 10 first places of televotes in any country, it doesn't mean nobody has voted for them. It's sad but that's not a shame, votes are not free so for the Grand Final people mostly vote for contestants being able to win the contest IMO.
Actually it does seem that you're right after all. I can't remember how I thought that SMS voting was counter per thousand or something. It is possible I was misled by a 14-yr old child who was telling me everything in 2019 haha! But yeah just checked, and televotes have the same weight was jury votes, each country tallies all the votes sent from its residents, and then the highest country voted gets 12 votes, next 10, and so on as you say. I find it incredible there wasn't even sympathy votes for NL haha. Still, poor UK, honestly =D

China has many hydropower plants and they have so many biggest hydropower plants on Earth. Their hydropower plants and huge dams make the ecosystem along the Mekong Delta become worse.
Their neighborhood nations complain too much with their megadams and serious changes for ecosystem there. China disclaim all of accusations with their dams.
They have the a huge hydropower supply on Earth.
I don't disagree, but I don't know enough, I'll be frank. My own island has huge issues with megadams (bad results and very poor transparency in the environmental impact assessment that have been linked to the beneficiaries of the project) but I think many other countries like the USA and India have also had some bad dealings with that and history forgets. Clearly, merely switching to renewable for the sake of it isn't the answer either, and developed economies have the privilege of not needing as much industry to develop (and the luxury of already ripping apart their original natural environments decades ago so they can lecture others from a position of comfort). We should then also talk about not knowing enough about environmental impacts of spent solar fuels in a decade or two, and apparently wind turbines as well. But that's probably not the focus of the current direction of discussion (from the simple pov of energy source).
|
|
|
First source I read related to this news put it at an even lower figure, but I actually thought that they already say they have audits (not transparent but apparently, shown to regulators) that already satisfy requirements?
Not that I care, or that regulators should. If FDIC banks in the US don't even need fractional reserve anymore (indefinitely at the moment), then why should Tether need it? They're all printing magic money now;)

the chinese crypto ban only applies to farms that are in fossil fuel power station regions and as of 2015.. yep 6 years ago mining farms in china were already positioning themselves in renewable regions
what the ban impacts most is not the farms but the isolated home hobby miners that cant just move to prefered locations
Hydropower mainly, yup. Cheapest form of energy in many regions there, with plenty of surplus, and for a time, easy to do really good corporate deals with the state governments. You'd definitely have to be a hobbyist or independent to still be trying out coal when there's plenty of cheap hydropower coming out from there from megadams. They switched one new megadam mid-last year, another mega one to come this July (yes, these actually also came at the expense of environment, special the 3 gorge dam project but that's the price they're paying for clean renewables).

Hey, people got to make money from charging fees and commissions to wealthy people who can't be bothered to do all the nitty gritty little things, right?
As Neurotic says, and I know it's unfortunate, but it's always necessity that's driven invention. It's always been difficult for regular people to get in on the act of "better money" but the silver lining is that, if desperate enough, they'll seek more decentralised ways, and then they may actually get into Bitcoin in more meaningful ways than they would have if they got in through an exchange.

I thought that France would win, she had the best performance but Italy put on a nice show and also deserved the win. Bookmakers also expected that Italy would win, so it wasn't such a big surprise. Biggest surprise for me was that Malta only ended 7th, I thought she would end in the top 4.
Placed a bet on Belgium top 10, just because I am from Belgium lol.
Ha yeah, a surprise but not a shock. I mean, they and Ukraine got the most popular votes, that was the real surprise for me. I thought all the kids were gunning for the cute Swiss and cute Frenchie. So envious of you being Belgian (I love Hooverphonic, grew up with them in the late 1990s so obviously so happy Geike reunited). Lol, that was a funny moment. It is the second time in a row that UK ended with 0 points ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) . Haha yeah, though at least last time around, they DID get some points from SMS voting but actually got more points from jury, so this was the worst performance ever poor guy! I was actually really really surprised four countries got 0 points from SMS voting. I seem to recall 1,000 votes = 1 points on the last time, did that change this time? Hard to believe not even 1,000 German kids abroad didn't vote. I do feel bad for him seeing that UK guy man, no one deserves that really haha. But Eurovision is at least partly a popularity contest and you can't expect to be the uncool kid and get anything but sympathy (which he got in loads at the show itself haha).

Thank you Villa, I knew it was right to hedge on Chelsea, totally distracted by Champions League. They have to thank Spurs too for sure, for sneaking into Champions League even with losing. Gotta feel for Brendan, or do we? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Anyway, I urge you to check out Sportsbet. Every day until EURO 2020 they have a really huge value special which I'm putting loads of money on. Some are no-brainers (void if it doesn't hit) and some are just plenty of goals and outrights at massive values. Meanwhile, outlier bets while waiting for EURO;) 100 units at Sportsbet on Bulleen Lions, Melbourne City and Austria Wien to WIN @9.37. Other odds: 8.88 Units advantage: 49 Running advantage after 353 bets: +24,046 (+49) All-time cumulative: +62,444 Running units after 352 bets (57W|295L): +14,405 (+460) P.S. Many pages back instead of 39 wins I wrote 390 wins, so instead of editing every post, I've now updated the W/L tally... less than 20% win rate as usual for my picks:)
