7541  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazong gift cards for Bitcoin on: May 15, 2017, 10:59:08 AM
I see people claim that they sell Amazon gift cards for 40-70% off
and they sell a lot (atleast they say so)
is that really possible or scam ? do you know any legit service who offer this ?

I agree with the suggestion above, you should go with the Digital goods section, there are plenty of sellers. You should know though, that some sellers sell carded gift card (bought using a stolen credit card) so It may put your account at risk. Simply don't buy unless the offer seems legit. (Usually, no one goes under 70% rates (65% If you are lucky) ).

do
amazon often  block gift cards that not legit?
and cancel an order made buy it ?

If the credit card has been reported as stolen and they were contacted then yes, Its very likely that the account will get blocked and the order will be canceled. If the order already arrived, there isn't much they could do at this point. Why would you take any risk anyway? just make sure you are trading with someone trusted.
7542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You know you're a Bitcoin gambler when... on: May 15, 2017, 10:10:56 AM
You became a gambler the moment you clicked the "Roll dice" button In my opinion, as easy as that, that's level 1. Level 2 is when you lose everything (and you will) because greed is a powerful emotion, In other words, nothing good comes from gambling, stay away from it.
7543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The absolute easiest way for a newb to run a node - Bitseed on: May 15, 2017, 09:10:50 AM
This is mostly for developers who don't want to buy a host and keep paying extra money while having multiple the blockchain size keep growing and the node consuming more resources because I don't see the utility of it for daily bitcoin users unless they indeed want to help the network but again, this type of people may find the price a little bit high. The question now is what is the lifespan of this thing?
7544  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Unofficial] Exodus Wallet | Multi-Currency | Built-in Exchange on: May 15, 2017, 08:18:36 AM
Some new major updates (Version 1.25.0):

A small updates were released on the 13th and 14th as well but Its nothing big: https://www.exodus.io/releases/
7545  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: e-Currency and Bitcoin online exchanger PayBis on: May 15, 2017, 08:02:58 AM
I see that both PayPal and MasterCard are no longer available, is for the deposit, withdrawal or both? and when are you planning to add them back. I'm just hoping that you don't stop accepting them, I'm assuming that some people are doing some chargebacks?
7546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / HiddenWallet: Full Block SPV TumbleBit Wallet  on: May 15, 2017, 06:38:36 AM
I believe this is the first TumbleBit wallet out there: https://medium.com/@nopara73/introducing-hiddenwallet-full-block-spv-tumblebit-wallet-testing-release-1054a15a9bb1

It's clearly on the testing release and there is a lot for the road-map: https://github.com/nopara73/HiddenWallet
He didn't mention anything about SegWit but I believe he is using it because Its the ideal thing, even though, TumbleBit can function without it.

7547  Other / MultiBit / Re: Balance tranforms to Unconfirmed Transaction on: May 14, 2017, 07:25:48 PM
I'm not sure If you could import to another wallet directly but I suggest trying this: http://bip32.org/

I don't own the site but Its open source, If you don't trust it, download the source and run it locally. I believe Its to easy to use, just type the seed and everything else should be done automatically and from there, import the private keys to whatever wallet you want, Electrum, Bitcoin Core etc.
7548  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Amazong gift cards for Bitcoin on: May 14, 2017, 07:04:21 PM
if you want to buy gift cards then try finding a legit registered service. something like Gyft i think is what you want.
when you buy from individuals the chances that they have bought the gift card with stolen credit cards are very high. and you might get into trouble if you use these cards.

How much in gyft ?

The rates are like 1:1 for gyft, using services (companies) is never profitable, trading with individuals in the other hand, can be very profitable as I mentioned the rates above.
7549  Other / MultiBit / Re: help needed with multibit wallet on: May 14, 2017, 05:09:43 PM
I believe you are using Multibit classic and not HD? because If It wasn't the case, you wouldn't need to backup multiple times and you also didn't mention anything about the seed. If you don't have the backup file and the password associated with it (If its encrypted) then I'm afraid there isn't much you can do.
7550  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any youtube partners that accept bitcoin? on: May 14, 2017, 04:58:49 PM
The only one I know of is creative nation. Are there any other ones that are available?

I believe there are no other YouTube networks. IIRC we used to have a service called watchmybit that pays for content (but not in YouTube) and Its not longer working. We definitely have a lack of services in this area while there is a lot of advertising networks like Adsense.
7551  Economy / Securities / Re: Mycelium Crowdsale , Are you investing ? on: May 14, 2017, 04:42:24 PM
What you think about this token?

The value of this token is going down because no one wants to buy it for the simple reason that they haven't seen any updates. I however spoke with some of the staff, they said that we should expect some updates soon. (major ones I believe), for the moment, there are some members testing it If I understood right. Another thing that worth mentioning is that the token is nowhere except BitSquare which is a decentralized exchange used by a very minority.

7553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: May 14, 2017, 01:58:16 PM
To control greed on gambling, first we should know our limit. Know the average winning we can have and do not push our luck to gain extra.  Do not play having lots to win in mind and follow that path.  If we have enough let us be contented on that.  Let us not push our luck to the point we lose them all, the winnings and even our bankroll.
Self-control is everything if we want to play gambling. Never play when we can not do it. Because greed can make everything ruin. When it has won then more to survive and wait until the right time.

That's the thing, you don't know If you can control yourself unless you try it and by the time you know If you can or cannot control yourself, It would be too late. It's better to simply stay away from it and never try it, there is no such a thing called "gambling for fun".
7554  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: May 14, 2017, 01:23:09 PM
You should probably think about adding Coinsbank.com unfortunately. They have some serious scam accusations against them on the section. I suggest checking them out and ask for further details before making up your mind, the company didn't make any statements, not everyone has faced these issues though.
7555  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: May 14, 2017, 12:53:24 PM
I've put capitalist.net on the list as it seems like their partnership with livecoin.net is still in place but they're the ones issuing cards. Their offer to cover fees probably isn't in place but interesting service nevertheless.
I have just began to use capitalist.net as new exchanger, cause of my previous one provides operations very slowly. Didn't know that they have fever cards too.

Their cards are VISA or MASTERCARD ? Because when i visit their website they mention and show a Visa card but in the footer i see the logo from mastercard too. Or maybe they have both?

The cards are Visa cards (both physical and virtual I believe). The MasterCard you see on the bottom along with other payment methods:

are simply the payment methods they accept to withdraw/deposit/transfer funds from/to the account.
7556  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what blockexplorer to use instead of blockchain.info on: May 14, 2017, 12:49:46 PM
There are many alternatives and i have tried to list some of them, hope this helps ;

1 http://blockr.io/
2 https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC (They are acting quite weird, blocking several IPs including mine recently)
3. https://blockexplorer.com/ (one of the best, without ads)
4 https://btc.com/
5 https://bitcoinchain.com/block_explorer

The blocking part is done by almost all services, sometimes people get banned without doing anything because some other people were ddosing or bypassing the limit of requests on API etc while they were using VPNs/ Tor etc... so those who did nothingcame across the same IP again without even knowing.
7557  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what blockexplorer to use instead of blockchain.info on: May 13, 2017, 04:00:40 PM
I believe that people are simply used to it and don't want to switch to something else. I personally use Blocktrail.com (BTC.com) as my main explorer, It has the best design out there.
7558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin on South Korea on: May 13, 2017, 03:30:28 PM
I didn't notice until now (either that or the exchanges are indeed new) that we have south Korean exchanges and they have huge trading volumes.

[1] https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/korbit/
[2] https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinone/
[3] https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bithumb/

I believe that Chinese exchanges stopping withdrawal for a period of time is somehow good for bitcoin. It allowed to other exchanges to step up (Japanese and Koreans) and not giving monopoly to Chinese.
7559  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: It's been over 13 hours and Blockchain STILL hasnt confirmed the money I sent. on: May 13, 2017, 02:50:55 PM
Its most likely that you didn't pay enough fees and with all the unconfirmed transactions that we have: https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions  It could take a little longer to confirm.  Try to send your TXID to: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ (If you found a spot because there is an hourly limit) and It should get confirmed.
7560  Economy / Services / Re: [Need] SQL Expert (Triggers) on: May 13, 2017, 01:25:45 PM
Are there any specific errors thrown during running the trigger ?
I'm not that experienced with triggers but don't you have to use the
Code:
FOR EACH ROW
BEGIN
loop to have it impacted on all the rows ?

I said that the trigger above works fine, there are no errors. Its just not doing what I was hoping for. FOR EACH ROW doesn't exist on SQL Server as far as I know and using a while loop won't work either because the insert can be done using one statement but with multiple values.

SET Bought = Bought + COUNT(Inserted.ProdName)

It won't work because values could vary and be different, It could be two of the same ProdName, 3 from another.

EDIT: I managed to handle this situation by creating a temporary table and storing data there (taking it from inserted) using GROUP BY. I no longer need this.
