7541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List Exchanges Hacked 2011 / 2019 on: January 17, 2019, 02:42:04 PM
Seriously it is so weird that even before this post got to a lot of messages we had another hacking. I mean what does these websites do for security ? I mean I know hackers are getting better and better everyday and whenever you defend some way of hacking they find another way of hacking but you really need to consider cold wallet as a big number versus hot wallet.

Even bitcointalk got hacked at one point through the avatars we had, think about how canny you had to be at hacking to figure out how to hack someone from your avatar. Hence, I understand difficulty of not getting hacked but even if hacking is unavoidable than find a way to minimize the losses in a hacking attempt, just protect as much as you can while giving them something to say they hacked it. That way they will have some small hot wallet amount whereas you protect most of the coins.
7542  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 🔥Daily Trade Ideas 🔥Share your ideas with us on: January 17, 2019, 01:35:01 PM
The simple and best strategy we can follow for increase our profits in crypto day trading is just by following the bollinger band and RSI with small time candles to see how the market is moving and when we can sell. But I don't support day trading it causes more damages than profits so do only if you know to make profits.
Having more than one technical analysis and trading at the points where two or more analyses coincidence, we may take them as they are confirmed reversal point. I am trading based on 200day moving average along with pivot point analysis.

Sometimes I do get stuck due to unexpected volatility but I'm just trading BTC against USDT hence I never need to worry about potential losses as I am always switching over my day trading into positional one and I will be holding them for months until recovering my losses. We can go for combining any technical analysis for having confirmed trading calls. But, we need to test them in real time before following them in live markets.
7543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Options for investment in early 2019?! on: January 16, 2019, 05:35:42 PM
Other than BTC and ETH, I personally think that Neo’s price has the potential to grow. However nobody will know when market will recover. So if you are looking at the long term, I think Neo is a good choice.
Besides BTC, I keep seeing lots of people are suggesting lots of different altcoins. Probably due to numerous choices, the in-flow money get scattered which resulting in most of them not finding success. I mean to say, when more people are targeting one or few coins then there will be a definite chances for a coin to be successful. This way I believe I do not need any other altcoin but bitcoin alone will be a great choice by early 2019 just due to its price levels at this time.

Ripple, it can give not only a profit, but also to save money at the next collapse of prices, showed itself worthily last year, trust her
Ripple may get dumped at any time as its owner himself a whale and we cannot predict them when they go greedy. Investments on ripple are pure gambling. It means you are having only 50% chances to get your capital and only after this, you may think about your long term profit levels.
7544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A bounty telegram channel that do not update is a warning sign on: January 16, 2019, 02:10:20 PM
if the bounty channel have no one on the team or the bounty manager is not login anymore in this forum this  is a warning sign for bounty hunters to consider, do you have similar experience like this.
You are just talking about one of the obvious sign of future scam. There are many similar things are available to identify that who are all going to pay you and who are all may run away by keep on informing you that "ICO is just extended and keep working for some more time". In an ICO, everything should be as per plan and should be informed well in advance otherwise we can go for suspecting them. The exception should be like this, the changes to already planned things should be announced in right time with proper reason.

Maybe it is major part that can destroy the project or in other hand every one if the team leave the project. No update means no progress.
Yes, it will lead to destroy the project like it will be leading for earning bad reputation among the crypto community. Twitter for announcing own updates whereas telegram/discord channels are for interactive platform for having update. If they are silent, that will end up in scam in 99% of the cases.
7545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Crypto Market Remains ‘Moderately Bearish’ in 2019 on: January 12, 2019, 02:37:28 PM
We all see this bearish news all the time recently, ever since 2019 started we all have been seeing these news that talk about how bitcoin still looks bearish, how bitcoin will reach new lows before going up, how volume is not enough.

I am starting to think maybe there are people in the world with enough money to create some sort of FUD in order to make people sell their coins and drop the price so they can buy cheap before the SEC and Bakkt happens, after all we are all waiting for that news and if both of them happen together than the price should be going really high and what better way to spend your money than making sure bitcoin drops before those things happen and buying bitcoin.

You don't even have to make a huge amount of "donation" to these news websites, if you give them the news they will publish it.
7546  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you think the price of BTC will change this week?💰 on: January 12, 2019, 12:56:01 PM
We will publish the results 📊 of this poll in ICObench Weekly Digest next Monday.
It will definitely go up from here. I wasn't expecting a drop to be honest with you but since it already dropped and the money is getting more squeezed than the only logical step is going up. Remember last time we moved it was because the amount was getting stuck between smaller and smaller numbers.

Bitcoin was between 5.8 and 7.2 all the time and moved between those prices couple of times until it was stuck between 6.4-6.7 levels and than moved downwards, same is happening here price was around 3.2 and 4.2 and right now it is getting stuck between 3.6 and 4 thousand dollars which means something is about to break again and I hope it won't be downwards again because that is really scary to even think about right now. More likely scenario is going higher and breaking the current resistance.
7547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: God of winning be with all the gamblers in 2019. on: January 12, 2019, 07:34:05 AM
Hard to said this but we must be truth to ourself.  Gambling is the most risky among all the investments ventures and it is really very difficult for you to continue making profits.  I believe that currently we should not hesitate to make this prayers that God should put his favor on us and for us to keep making many winning trade than 2018.
You sound like more superstition than practical. Controlling gambling and making profits from it are always beyond our control hence I'm not thinking it will be possible to make profits from gambling by praying to God. Will our God bless us to make easy money ? I do not think so because being lazy is prohibited in most of the religions. That is the reason gambling is being considered as one of the sin in most of the religions. Being lucky is completely different from what you are referring because to make profits from gambling you need to have your luck to favor you all the times which is completely impossible because that will make anyone to be more lazy.

no matter, how many times you pray or something, it won't really chance the odds because God doesn't answer prayers like that.
Yes, God will not respond on their own reasons :-). If praying will be working on this way then it must be an easiest way to bankrupt all the gambling houses Wink.
7548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: January 12, 2019, 07:00:46 AM
Gambling is only for fun not a way to make money what you think Gamblers Wink
You learned this after spending 10 BTC ? I believe this is not too late. Because, some people would never find opportunities to learn this lesson even after spending 100 BTC (given that they are able to spend that much). you learned your lesson at least now in my view so that you can save your future losses and you can recover your losses in some other businesses. Please never ever try to recover your losses in gambling.
Yes, OP is sounding like he had learned the lesson and probably may not go for gambling again for the reason of chasing out his losses. Moreover, OP is is not sounding like a real gambler because that is how he had composed the open post. As far as I have seen most gamblers are not quick learner, they need more time and external help too for making them to realize their mistakes and what they are literally missing out while gambling. Only after long hours of intensive lectures, some gamblers start understanding the hard lessons from their own experiences.

10 BTC must be a very big money in 2018 compared to 2019. But, I wonder how these gamblers are affording to risk that much big money for gambling. At the same time we cannot ignore the fact that how gambling making them to be focused to keep on gambling regardless of how much they are spending and losing in gambling.

Probably no gambler will realize the market value of their bitcoins but they just need some bankroll to continue. This is where, altcoin based gambling must be a good choice to have.
7549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies (beliefs) on: January 12, 2019, 06:11:49 AM
My strategy is to play two or three bets with small bets,if I win something hen I believe I am lucky today so I will continue few more bets and sometimes it helps too.
Is it a strategy ? How many times this helped you to crack more profits ? Even it had helped you to go for few more profitable round of bets, I am sure that you might have ended your day only with losses. Because, as per your strategy that must the final result. You will never able to finish off a day in profits, even you will get some round of profitable bets.

My strategy is to promote gambling sites and gamble witb referral comission.I am not greedy most times I just increase 2x my balance and then I cashout money.
If this is a working strategy then you never need to go back to promoting sites for commissions as you might have some balance left after you got 2x profits. Otherwise, you keep gambling and making profits/losses in same manner and then to refill your bankroll to go back to affiliate programs, right ? Yes, all gambling strategies are working this way. There cannot be any special changes due to having gambling strategies, gambling will always get us same set of results Wink.
7550  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie in crypto trading on: January 11, 2019, 04:56:17 PM
You mentioned that you are just starting trading, from that may I assume you are complete new to trading or just new to crypto trading. But, an experienced trader will not start such a topic for suggestion as he must be busy on analyzing major coins for that $200. I may need to assume that you are a new trader and just entering into crypto space. In that case I am suggesting you to go for long term trading and for that bitcoin must be good to make your $200 into $2000 in nest 2 to 3 years.

Next time, please find time to mention about your skills with trading and your expectation on profit levels for your capital. Because, you simply sound like you want list of coins where you may go for investing. Still, that is not a great idea as most people suggest shitcoins and your capital will burn out in couple of months itself.

It is always better to go for bitcoins with long term basis. You will never find disappointed for adopting bitcoins whereas most other coins may not.
7551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental or technical, which one you do used? on: January 11, 2019, 04:19:55 PM
I use "trending" and none of the options. Fundamental and technical both makes bitcoin into something like forex which it is not, forex is something that has indicators that it follows and most of the time markets are predetermined to go where it should and you get results that you are expecting.

Moreover, bitcoin is unregulated and crazy which means one big thing and it can go anywhere, you can read a title saying bitcoin is now illegal in USA and we can see 1000 dollars even less in bitcoin price, or maybe in Oscars coming up someone will praise bitcoin and how it will destroy banks than we will have 10+ thousand.

Basically bitcoin price is all depends on news and trends, if you see it go up even a bit than it will go up a lot, if you see it go down a bit it will go down a lot. For example, when its 4200, if it goes down to 4100 than it will definitely go down to 3800 or so, when its 3600 if it goes up to 3800 than it will go up to 4000, so trends are what matters in crypto.
7552  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3k range the new $6k range? on: January 11, 2019, 03:37:52 PM
For two months the price stayed in an uncharacteristicaly stable range in the mid $6ks, before the price was very quickly crashed into half, down into the $3ks. Do you think this same stability has begun to form over the next couple months in the mid $3ks? if so, will price break upwards to end this stable range or downwards, as it did last November?
Apparently so. I have been waiting for the price to move towards 5 thousand dollars on this recent increase because of the upcoming deals but apparently the 3-4 thousand dollars range is so strict that it is constantly going higher and lower at the same levels.

I mean I understand having the trouble to move beyond 4 thousand dollars and having 4.2 thousand dollars as the max we reach because of the lack of volume however we have now tested those levels about 8 or 9 times if I counted correctly, I understand not breaking those levels once or twice but 8 or 9 times is just too much, we should have broken that already.

Good news is we do not drop back to 3.2-3.4 levels anymore, we move to 3.6 or so levels which is closer to the max and makes it easier for another try but I am sure if we try to break 4.2 couple more times we will eventually go beyond it.
7553  Economy / Speculation / Re: Dovish Fed Minutes Sees Cryptocurrency Market Lose $11 Billion in 5 Hours on: January 11, 2019, 02:57:13 PM
People need to realize that bitcoin and crypto doesn't move according to FED at all, it doesn't matter what FED does and how it does it for crypto because we are a different market than them and we move according to our sells and buys instead of their moves. A fed interest could be insanely higher or lower and it wouldn't change anything in the bitcoin market.

It is the constitutional money that changes bitcoin when FED moves, which means FED does have an indirect effect but not because whatever FED does but because how people react to what FED does. If people stop caring about FED and what they do than bitcoin could be totally clear from it considering the whole reason for Bitcoins creation was to have a decentralized money and FED is the CENTER of money, so we need to have people who hate FED and move to crypto instead of people who reacto FED and change bitcoin positions.
7554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC should be for big whales on: January 11, 2019, 02:24:35 PM
I don't doubt it should be available for everyone but KYC needs to be more relaxed. Depending on the amount of money the information required could be really insane sometimes. If I am trading couple hundred bucks at most than you do not need to know my ID number or require a picture of my face with paper in my hand which is really looking like its entry to some sort of cult and you need to give them a picture so they can blackmail in case you want to leave.

In reality the best you can do is if you want too much information it should be from whales who trade millions every day, if its just couple hundred bucks a day than ask me for my name and all (which anyone can lie if they want) and that is it, why would you want anything more from something that is under 200 dollars anyway, it makes no sense to ask so much for so little.
7555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic - 1.1 Million USD Stolen Through 51% attacks on: January 11, 2019, 01:51:41 PM
Does anyone know what happens to ETC now ? Like they were attacked and got 1.1 million stolen but what about now ? Is it gone ? Like will it be 1 satoshi and forgotton like some scam coin ? Or will it continue to operate and get traded in big exchanges and forget about this happened and try to make the 51% attack harder and just move on ?

I don't know if I will be ever capable of trusting ETC again and I haven't had any ETC in the past year but from now on I don't think I will ever even consider trading it let alone invest into it. Maybe they will start to crumble and not matter anymore in the short future, it would be weird to see investors still supporting a coin that basically got hacked and stolen because of the 51% attack because why would they support it when there are many other coins much more secure.
7556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful of strange projects on: January 11, 2019, 03:10:45 AM
Participating in to bounty program should be done after lots of crosschecking and verification. I'm not sure how many people are valuing their hard work that they are going to put for a campaign still I do see many scam projects are finding their success only due to the people who are all ignoring those crosschecking.

I'm always not preferring to contribute in ICOs for many reasons but the prime one must be I should not support scammy people. Instead of looking for making big money out of ICo, I am more careful on not supporting scammers, it is kind of being more conscious against scammers.
I am also finding lots of people are randomly participating in to bounty programs without checking that where they are going to work and for what people they are going to put their hard work. They simply check what are the rewards and not even looking for what is the assurance to get payment with them, but simply enrolling themselves and then start wasting their hard work. I agree this must be the reason why scamming people are always enjoying in ICO industry.

Not just with strange projects, we always must need to be more careful while choosing coins and ICOs. Because this is how, we may protect ourselves. Unfortunately many people are being careful while spending hard earned money but they become lenient when they are putting their hard work. They never understand their hard work is another form of money. But, they are ready to risk their hard work.
7557  Economy / Economics / Re: You were warned on: January 10, 2019, 06:32:38 PM
What do you mean no one chooses to pay taxes ? I mean I understand we are not clearly happy with how our taxes are used but in a normal country when taxes are used for proper stuff people are quite happy with paying taxes. Nord countries like Sweden and Norway have really high tax rates yet they are happy with paying that considering they are definitely happy with where the money goes, free education, free healthcare, free many things thanks to the high taxes.

USA pays almost similar taxes and gets trillions yet use that on banks and making rich people even richer instead of helping a high standard of living. I know that wasn't the topic but I just got fixated on that "nobody chooses to pay taxes" like they take it from you by force, if you don't pay your taxes the country you live in will turn to third world country Venezuela type deal very quickly.

Plus, about the 250 trillion dollar debt deal, when everyone is in debt, no one is in debt, if A asks for the debt from B than B will ask from C and C will ask from A and it goes around, that is how we reached to 250 trillion dollars and that is how it will continue.
7558  Economy / Economics / Re: From Bitcoin to Brexit, Here’s What Investors Need to Watch for in 2019 on: January 10, 2019, 05:36:54 PM
Seriously ? Bitcoin didn't start to drop significantly until mt.gox trustee sold 34 thousand bitcoins all at once on market prices which caused a huge drop in the price. There was not enough money in the market to cover that type of sell and the more prices start to drop because of it the more panic sellers sold their coins to get out.

Anyone who thinks what FED did even remotely effects bitcoin doesn't either know what bitcoin is or hasn't been in bitcoin world for too long. The most recent drop was because of bitcoin cash hard fork war and those guys selling bitcoins to fuel their war. Hence, in the end you can not expect bitcoin to stay afloat when there is so much huge sales going on due to other stuff than FED. We in crypto don't care what FED does and we only focus on our internal stuff, only thing we could care would be if FED wants to get bitcoins as well and that is not happening.
7559  Economy / Economics / Re: Low demand for gasoline on: January 10, 2019, 04:42:49 PM
You assume the gasoline usage is low because people do not possess money to actually buy it and instead use other methods of transportation but you are missing the fact that there are more and more electric cars made and electric bikes and so forth made that people are actually moving towards using less and less gasoline cars. Right now, almost all new high tech cars are that way unless its some super fast sports car or something. Even electric trucks are getting made which means overtime there will be really no gas cars left, from public transportation to daily usage to work cars they will be all electric soon.

I do not really think the reason the usage dropped is money related, its just about time we moved on from gas and into renewable energy, you can use sun and wind to charge your car instead of fossil fuel which is much better option.
7560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with regulated brokers? on: January 10, 2019, 03:34:30 PM
I think the first one that people use with huge amounts will be BAKKT, places that small that are not open to whole world globally are not going to get any attention from people that much. Bakkt will allow people to invest into bitcoin as much as they want and still be in the good side of the law. Right now there are too many places that makes the exchanges a bit "gray" instead of making it legal, its definitely not illegal but its just too gray.

Avatrade and similar stuff are like that, they are just too gray for my taste and I would rather wait and see what SEC says to move on with my investments. Of course if you are based on New York the bitlicense deal makes everything quite clear but there are couple million people living there and god knows how many of them are crypto people compared to all of us globally.
