At the end i don't think that most of these fake coins will resist. In addition the profit that people made with bitcoin is by far more interesting than any other coin  Wink

Only a  couple of weeks ago, hacker group ‘The Dark Overlord’ uploaded 10 upcoming episodes of the “Orange Is The New Black” show  to a downlodable torrent on the Pirate Bay. Similarly, as with Disney, Netflix refused to pay the ransom.
Okay it seems people will watch the pirates of Caribbean or star wars before its official releases since thoses hackers did the same thing before
7543  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin ever drop to $1200-$1500 on: May 11, 2017, 10:26:30 PM
I was planning to sell my coins for $2000,- /btc and then hoping that it would drop to around $1500,-.
Is this realistic or is bitcoin not going to drop soon? If it's not going to drop, should I buy more? I dont really need my money now & can afford to buy more.

Same question was asked before by a guy : should I sell at $1200 then buy when the price will drop to $800 or wait?
The answer selling now = fail and holding or buying = good step
At the end who knows  Roll Eyes

GDAX USD 1,614.76

7545  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 04, 2017, 11:27:48 PM
If we were trading at a range of $130-$160, the movements wouldn't feel as intense. But now that BTC is way up here, the $100+ swings feel like a lot. We are going to have to get used to this!

Time to switch to mBTC. Get your cheap coins under $2!

Wait until the bitcoin price pass the $10k barrier, it will not take that much (too optimistic here lol Roll Eyes)
7546  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 04, 2017, 05:14:55 PM

7547  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 04, 2017, 01:27:56 PM
I'm tempted to post another prediction, but I have run out of tea, runes and sticks...

Here you go.
I suspect the price will hold for a while, at just below 1600, dropping to high 1400 and rising to 1530 for the end of May...

I would say +$1600 in the next days
50% by tomorrow
30% in 48 hours
20% before the end of the week  Smiley
7548  Other / Politics & Society / Re: French Election on: May 04, 2017, 11:18:47 AM
Who's going to be the next french president? Le Pen? What kind of changes she will bring? What do you think.

I doubt it will get elected, 45% is the maximum vote she could get in the best cases, unless a major event will happens and change the cards
45% considering that a considerable number of the supporters of the other ex-candidates won't vote for anyone

This particular election is very unique, and you can't be sure about anything. One thing I can say for sure. Both Le Pen and Macron are hated by more people than those who approve them. And everything will depend upon the turnout. Le Pen supporters will vote for her, no matter what happens. But not sure about the fringe supporters of Macron.

Right, i just gave an estimation that could be wrong of course. The two aren't liked by the voters maybe but Marine is hated more than Macron.
Finally no one could think Trump will be the next US president at early stage but he made it.
@popcorn1 didn't understand too much what you are saying but the French guy is blaming also the EU

Please don't be a goose..It fly's one way and you follow..THE POLLS..and the NEWS,,
Wait till the result ..

Personally I don't like the two (all politicians btw) and what i said came from polls mixed by my feelings/the sixth sencse  Tongue
We will see anyway, bad luck for the two

7551  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nuclear weapons on: May 04, 2017, 01:13:58 AM
Until now, the politicians are quite using their brains, hiding their anger and using a diplomatic channels to solve the problems
Assuming that uncle Kim is having a nuke and the old guy in the white house didn't like his morning cookies...well that could escalate to a war in which the two parties could use the nukes if they feel that the end of its regimen is soon
Of course, Seoul will take all the damage, maybe Japan too?
7552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prediction - $1500 in 30 days - What do you think? on: May 04, 2017, 01:04:01 AM
-snip-
So fro 600 to 1300 dollars in 6 months, My prediction is for BTC to hit $1500 in 30 days. That's my logic!

If it doesn't, I you have my word that I will not try to predict the future again, now where did I put my crystal ball....

Using bitcoin logic : the price broke the $1500 barrier in 1 week in the most exchanges without counting bitfinex of course (+$1600)
More predictions please  Smiley
7553  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price break 1459 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 04, 2017, 12:57:25 AM
BTC price break 1459 1535 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin?
With bitcoin it is never too late  Wink
7554  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price break 1459 USD, is it too late to invest in Bitcoin? on: May 03, 2017, 11:24:20 AM
I thought that its too late when the price was 1000$, and look now Smiley
you never know with Bitcoin

Best answer  Smiley
I saw people several times asking if it's too late to buy and start crying when the price crushed after they bought some coins then it comes the rise and everyone is enjoying the epic profit
The only exception is people selling when the price crushed, they will cry forever  Wink
7555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches the price of 1500 USD do we have to sell or we save? on: May 03, 2017, 10:38:39 AM

Time I was really confused, bitcoin prices have gone up to more than 1500 USD, I have little bitcoin deposits whether at this time should I sell or should I save to wait the price more than the current price that may reach the price of 2000 USD?

What is your opinion for me right now?

Selling now could be profitable since the price could get a correction and drop down
Holding your coins could be also profitable since the price could get higher and higher
My opinion is hold and wait if you don't have much coins or else you could take the risk and sell a part from your holding which I think it is much more gambling right now
7556  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-05-03]Bitcoin Price Continues Historic Highs Toward $1,500 on: May 03, 2017, 10:31:04 AM
The Japanese will remove the imposed 8% consumption rate tax in July, so after that there will be normally more people going to buy bitcoin and then the price will rise further, cute  Wink
7557  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 03, 2017, 10:21:25 AM
The funny thing is if/when Bitfinex actually solves it's banking issues (and therefore proves to be USD solvent), there will be a price correction.

Yes, that is also true. Although I neither expect that to be a violent move at all.

There will be a price correction but I think that it will just reduce the abnormal +$100 gap between bitfinex and the other exchanges, I don't think that the bitcoin price will crush under $1400  Smiley

I wonder that one of the most used features in forums and communities is not in use on bitcointalk.
It would be nice to vote up good posts and downgrade bad ones.

I think there is a reason why its not esed here - what is it?
What did u say?

7559  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin by Christmas 2018? (POLL) on: April 20, 2017, 01:04:52 AM
Bitcoin by Christmas 2018?

I think +$1500 in December 2017 and +$2000 in the next year
Anyway the price for the moment is promising and $1300 could be reached in few days tho
7560  Economy / Speculation / Re: Imagine how the guys that sold at $800 feel now on: April 10, 2017, 05:01:12 PM
I knew Bitcoin was not going any lower than $800 when the forkcoin fears were hovering around. Now Jihan Wu is hated by the entire community except the couple paid shills. Looks like UASF is closer than ever and this is translating into a healthy price.

I think that they behave better than the guys that sold their bitcoin with approximately $200  Roll Eyes
Anyway the price gonna be insane
