Colbert is a joke of a man, and therefore it is a joke of a coin. I respect the doge smiley dog more than Colbert
Unlike Doge, Colbert actually has massive influence outside of the small crypto circle. That tweet is also why we chose to START with a reward of 1 with CC. Now there is no chance for a massive block reward reduction later when we want the price to rise. That's just shady shit. Goldcoin did it, first, from 500 per block to 49 with a fork

Hopefully that .13 BTC helps their case. I lost my respect for him when we found out it wasn't backed like he said it was

Google is an aggregate of miscellaneous information and an inefficient way of finding specific information. GOOGLE does NOT provide answers....it provides links to WEBSITES it THINKS have answers. ANYONE can put up a website, even those with self serving interests. I want specific and true info, not who spent the most on SEO.Best way to do that is to come to here and get unbiased opinions?

Celebrity coin ? I guess Letterman miss his chance then ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) By the time Colbert takes that show over, all the CC should be mined out

Rob,
Keep in mind, the FDA has already approved a Chip From VeriChip for human implants.
Why?
That's a bit too close for comfort for my liking so this chipping theory has basis and can be a reality tomorrow.
Whether it's voluntary or forced is a different matter but the tech is here, FDA approved and waiting mass adoption.
Just imagine how effective their "war on drugs" and "war on terrorism" would be if we only agreed to chip every living thing. Hahahaa.
In pills No, VeriChip is a subcutaneous chip. Right under the skin. To avoid overheating [of the chip] the optimal place for such a chip would be in the extremities - ie. hands or head, where heat is dissipated and thus the coolest parts of the human anatomy. I meant these. They are supposed to be to remind people when to take their medication with a text or email or something http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/768665

Guys, NO ONE is going to mine your coin being SHA256, and Colbert is NOT going to bump it. I tried mining your coin with a 10 x 280x farm and didn't get shit. No coins now start SHA256, you had better change it to keccak, scrypt, or scrypt-N so normal people can mine it. You and your few buddies with old antminers pre-mining this coin is not going to get you very far. I would mine and promote your coin if you change algos and re-launch properly with no pre-mine.
That's not happening at all. There are less than 5000 CC out there after 2 days. You call that an instamine? YES, when 10 x 280x's are hashing at 7mh/s earning 4 CC/day AND your Antminers are hashing at 700,000mh/s earning 400 CC/day, well yes that is an unfair pre-mine that is going on. You never officially announced an exact launch time either. But really, you think ANYONE is going to mine SHA256 these days? Change algos and be gpu friendly or the coin goes nowhere. I have been on teams of a few coins, different algos, but nothing as ludicris as you are trying to pull. I have no idea how you even got on Poloniex, must have bribed them. I didn't pay him a single coin. Don't be mad because you have Scrypt rigs

There's nothing wrong with SHA. It also leaves the option to add merged mining with a coinlike Bitcoin later on. There are less than 5000 CC out there after 2 days. You call that an instamine?

Geee.. I was about to buy a 290 gaming. How common is this? Might go for the TriX...
It's common. MSI Twin Frozr fans are crap and will not last long with steady use past 56-60%. They are not designed for continous use. I have replaced the fans on 17 out of 26 MSI Twin Frozr 7950 I still run. on the other hand, I haven't lost a single fan on 20 Gigabyte WindForce 7950's. ~BCX~ Never had a problem with MSI, but I had 3 Gigabyte 7950s shoot fireballs after a few months, all with different power and riser setups

Max Coins: 1,000,000 Not nearly enough? Why only 1 Million?
To give a sense of value and not artificially increase network market cap with an inflated number of coins that have no true intrinsic value individually It will take between 2 and 4 years to be fully mined out, depending on how much the difficulty fluctuates
