Cryptocurrencies in general are declining not just eth, Its a market cycle that's why we are experiencing price plunges right now. I believe its unlikely for the value of eth to drop at $50 its a very low price, im doing my own analysis and I think this wont last long. Eth is being used by companies with an ICO and we can say they are not affected because their work are still in progress. One of the reason for this dip is the weak investors who panic sell because they are not immune in this situation who only wants quick money thats why they invest.

Even an expert cant predict accurately the price of bitcoin by december, and no one knows actually however there's still 4 months left before this year end. Last year the price of bitcoin started to rise in the month of august or september (if I remember it right) but at the moment there's still no indication of major recovery.
