As a reminder to everybody considering investing in this garbage (please don't):

This project employs a bumping service to bump its thread (as can be seen by the mindless conversation in this thread by newb and jr member accounts) and their white paper is heavily plagiarized from the Binance whitepaper:

This project is likely to be a scam, it is recommended you DO NOT send money there.

All the conversation happening in this thread is 100% fake!

Is Haiku Sunday still a thing?

Good day Bitcoinland,
Off to sunny Mexico
To get my new teeth.

Well, it made me laugh
While typing on the toilet
Meritable post.
7583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 28, 2019, 03:34:48 PM
Funny fact about the Tether FUD: governments have been doing exactly the same thing for decades, and nobody gives a shit about it.

Actually people do care... it's been the subject of several books by sons of rich people who ordinarily wouldn't have anything else to talk about. Peter Schiff comes to mind.

Still without a laptop and that's why I've been sparing this thread from my unhip posts as of late. I usually read 2-5 pages of WO before jumping in with a decent comment but it's not so easy with a cell phone. Cant imagine this is how hundreds or thousands of bounty hunters do their thing.

And my phone keeps insisting on autocorrecting 'with' to '28th'... WTF??
7584  Economy / Reputation / Re: Proper way to get Apology on: April 28, 2019, 03:25:59 PM
Also, don't call the DT a scammer while trying to bribe them... I mean you shouldn't do either of those things separately, but also not simultaneously:

Please scammer accept my doge, lets negotiate your price, i only have doge, is the only i can afford, please scammer

Stick the idiot on ignore and have a power wank over the tears that OP is crying

LOL. Sage advice. Will do. Thanks.
7586  Economy / Reputation / Re: Double Standards for Red Trust on: April 28, 2019, 05:13:36 AM
Its clearly not the same. You were given red trust 3 years ago. I was not. You were trying to purchase an anonymous account (and it looks like you were successful), I was trying to sell my own account (and I didnt).

You ignored my asking you to provide evidence of another account that fit my circumstance and everything else about the situation in order to continue cramming a square peg in a round hole.

The account seller who sold the account for which you got red tagged currently has a neutral trust. There are many discrepancies in how tagging gets carried out. That's a much more clear instance of an account being sold and the seller not being tagged for it. No system is perfect.
7587  Economy / Reputation / Re: Double Standards for Red Trust on: April 28, 2019, 04:32:58 AM
There are number of cases where an account owner says that he want to sell his account and he get reds paint on the spot.

Name one.

Gleb Gamow is the only other instance of this I know of, and his was a big deal because it is one of the most well known accounts on the forum. Besides, he didn't get red paint on the spot, he got it afterward.

Back before then, in 2016, I was relatively unknown and it wasn't nearly as big a deal.

This is the 4th thread to bring up this issue. There isn't much new to say. Theymos discourages red tags for past events if the user seems unlikely to repeat the offense again. I already explained myself ad nauseam in that I now recognize the potential for damage to occur if my account was sold, and would now never sell my account.

I didn't then, I wouldn't now. Just about everybody on DT is aware of this issue and nobody feels it's tag worthy. Its not a double standard so much as a case-by-case issue, as are many situations.

Sorry if you think the outcome is unfair but there's no other instances of a situation like mine during which somebody was red tagged.

- 3 year old "problem"
- account sale by owner
- neutral tagged at time of sale

These conditions have never warranted a tag 3 years after the fact.

All the evidence in the world that this account never changed hands and that the positives I've contributed far outweigh the negatives won't stop future trolls from rehashing this issue time and again. Just as I'm certain my argument won't have any bearing on those set on stirring up non problems.
7588  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: April 28, 2019, 02:52:26 AM
Can we have at least one thread in Meta without all that nonsense. TYVM.

Point taken.

I hesitated quoting this, eh.... f..k it:
Quote
If bitcoin fall to 1 dollar that means there will be lots of other coins that thay price will go to moon...
And than ill sell all of them for bitcoins and be very rich
What a shitpost omg. I am trying to figure what that person had in mind, it probably sounded better in their head before they shared this with world, still, makes little to zero sense.

This is without a doubt one of the worst posts ever written.

Its all the hallmark elements of a shitpost rolled into one:

- bad English
- unclear communication of idea
- faulty logic
- evidence of misunderstanding of basic principles

This post should be studied and referenced by academicians in universities
7589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NIM] - Nimiq - The Browser Based Blockchain on: April 28, 2019, 02:10:33 AM
You just say the same things over and over in every post and the price of NIM continues to increase. What is it that you hope to accomplish exactly?

Lol you sure about that buddy? Sounds like your a bagholder. I sold out all my coin at the low so I don't care. But to me looks like it gonna go back to the fucking ground where it started. 'Cos there is no visible progress on the core from team Scumiq. There is not enough exciting news & progress for investors new and old to get excited about. Result is a sagging coin price.

You are 1000% the same person as nimiqshitcoin. Your writing styles are indistinguishable. I will be red trusting you as well unless you can prove otherwise.

You are mistaken of course, but I'm not sure how I'm supposed to prove that beyond revealing identities. Funny enough posting with these guys is very therapeutic. The pain from losing over $50 thousands was just too much.

So, I am not the only one who lost money buying this shitcoin ? You lost money as well....

Yes. I was an ICO investor and was dumb enough to hold to the mainnet. Nobody expected this coin to have no marketing, no good exchanges. That was what the ICO money is for, but they like to have it in their own pockets more. To be honest what can you expect from these guys they are a bunch of kids with no management kicking their ass. I also notice their performance gets worse month by month, that's what the drugs is doing to their brains. Wasted.

i am exactly in the same boat as you. I was even greedier. I bought NET tokens during the ICO, then I decided to buy more in Oct 2017 because the communicated to us that main net will be launched by end of 2017. Then after the main net, I bought directly NIM coins from Trade Satoshi. Everything went so low with this shit coin. So, I decided to sell after some time, when I realized that these scumbags are doing literally nothing with the ICO money. They just pocketed the ICO money while filming themselves in Costa Rica smoking pot. Worst possible experience for me.

You know what? I just feel sorry for you now. Talking back and forth with yourself about the exact same subjects for months. You clearly have a mental disorder. I have no stake in the outcome of this project, so feel free to carry on with your pointless lunacy uninterrupted.
7590  Other / Meta / Re: THEYMOS GIVES NEW MANDATE TO DT MEMBERS - will they take heed?????????????????? on: April 27, 2019, 02:29:11 PM
I have you on ignore so I cant see what you're writing, but I dont think you added enough question marks to your subject title. Is it really a question? I'm not certain...

I have to ask, did you look at this members trust rating or history before agreeing to do business with them? There are plenty of warnings available to you that this member is a scammer.
7593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Lightning going to ensure Bitcoin dominance? on: April 26, 2019, 05:06:52 PM
LN is a separate independant network, the units of account of LN (msats) are not even recognised on the bitcoin network

LN is not even fixed/tethered to bitcoin. you can change the chainhash to be litecoin or other alts
thus LN can actually promote litecoin far more than bitcoin because the onramp (cost/time) to lock collateral to LN is faster and cheaper using litecoin

people keep assuming that LN is a sole unique feature that is only bitcoin enabled due to the silly buzz words like "layer" but the reality is that LN is not a layer at all. its just fluffy buzzword used for PR to do the fame game of garnering sponsorship/funding by trying to mention the word bitcoin/crypto/blockchain being related to LN

It is a second layer protocol that serves to help scale bitcoin. The main opponents of LN tend to be those who hold a grudge against bitcoin and don't want it to achieve even greater levels of success. No one is conflating it with being bitcoin. So far the whole milisats issue has proven to be a non-problem.
7594  Economy / Reputation / Re: Faketoshi. How did Craig Wright end up like this on: April 26, 2019, 03:24:28 PM
Youre a great writer. I don't agree with you 100% of the time but I appreciate that you bring an original flair to the forum.

Also one minor correction: it's Adam Back, not Beck. Who coincidentally, I believe is a much more likely candidate for being satoshi than Wright or Kleiman.
7595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: how they spend the ICO money buying cannabis and OCBs to smoke pot. on: April 26, 2019, 03:13:17 PM
I am not interested in getting in return a 1000 euro premium touristic package when I lost over $100,000+ ....

Still don't know how you lost $100k on a $50k investment. Did you forget the size of your investment in your initial comment or what happened?

Regardless, even if you were an investor, and I sincerely doubt that you were, it sounds like you're just an incredibly shitty trader who sold at the bottom. The price of NIM has been on a tear this year and it's been a tremendously profitable opportunity for those who bought in when you were selling.

Move on a different topic instead of spamming this thread with nonsense.

How about you go first?

Your story changes every time you tell it. I'm not clear on what your endgame is but I dont believe one word of anything you have to say.

Warning: this project is a scam. It has a plagiarized white paper and is hiring a bumping service used to promote other scams. All of the conversation in this thread is fake and investors are warned to stay away from it.

Nice mix there nutildah, fighting the good fight.

Thanks. With people like me the top list is more who we engage in battle with the most, for the most part.

Some of that list was a real memory jog... Had long forgotten about some of those users. Wonder what they're up to now..

Thanks suchmoon. I wonder which user quoted themselves the most times.
7599  Economy / Economics / Re: Craig Wright sues a podcaster for saying Craight Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto on: April 26, 2019, 04:18:02 AM
There are still people who do supports this coin no matter what happen to CW.

Perhaps but I do not understand why. 90% of this coins market cap value rests in the idea that csw is Satoshi. If it is revealed he is not then it simply becomes yet another altcoin. For all intents and purposes it really is just another altcoin.

Ok curiosity has the best of me. Can we pick non active users?

If so, I pick Spoetnik.

If not, I pick Flying Hellfish.
