7581  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchange Bitcoin directly to Dollar? on: September 08, 2017, 08:27:41 AM
Where are you located at if i may ask? There are many services that allow you to buy a card, and then load it with bitcoins.
The fees usually vary from 1.5% to 5% for every card load. Most of the services accept only in EU countries, because of the current regulations over at Wave Crost Holdings LTD.
This is at least the list of supported countries for bitwala:
Code:
Andorra
Austria
Bailiwick of Jersey
Bailiwick of Guernsey
Belgium
Bulgaria
Canary Islands
Croatia
Cyprus
Czech Republic
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Gibraltar
Greece
Greenland
Hungary
Iceland
Ireland
Isle of Man
Israel
Italy
Latvia
Liechtenstein
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Madeira
Malta
Monaco
Netherlands
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Romania
San Marino
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Switzerland
Sweden
Turkey
United Kingdom
Vatican City

If you are not residing in one of those countries, instant transfers will be kind of hard.
However you can always use bank transfers and wait few days for the funds.
If you are located at US, then i have heard good things of Shift Card
You can find also a comparison of the card providers from Bestbitcoincard.com

No, virwox has really high fees and i do not think them as a reputable source. Using them you will cause high fees.
Did you even read the OP's post?

I am from Africa but you and I know that Changelly won't ask for Location before converting my cryptos to another cryptocurrency. All that are needed are respective wallet addresses for transfer. Changelly accepts credit card to buy cryptos but isn't allowing users transfer converted cryptos back into the credit card in the form of fiat. I am looking for a site that can offer what Changelly isn't offering yet.
7582  Economy / Currency exchange / Exchange Bitcoin directly to Dollar? on: September 08, 2017, 06:42:46 AM
I know one can convert one cryptocurrency to another using several exchanges like Changelly to one's desired wallet. This is almost instant. Is there such a service for cryptos directly to dollar or local currency account without going through the localbitcoins sites and waiting for buyers?
7583  Economy / Services / Re: is there anyway to trace people's whereabouts? on: September 08, 2017, 06:20:40 AM
There's a site called "the Internet police", a very good site. I used to have it on my phone but had mistakenly deleted it a couple of days ago. I would've sent you the direct link. You may want to google that and report the case to them. I think it works like the forexpeacearmy for the forex industry and they should do something for you.
7584  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Value Will Soar High in the Future on: September 07, 2017, 08:13:15 PM
Now is the future of Bitcoin. All that was hidden about Bitcoin is almost revealed now unlike in 2009 - 2010 when it was greeted with lots of skepticism. The future or tomorrow belongs to the altcoins and that is why a country like China is clamping down on dubious ICOs. This is China's own way of sanitizing the crypto business in its domain.
7585  Economy / Services / Re: real work for bitcoin on: September 07, 2017, 07:21:20 AM
...
This is legitimate work from home for pay in the form of crypto currency. I won't moderate the thread but please don't spam me or call me a scammer. If you have questions please ask.

**Edit** Forgot to mention that training is online via a virtual classroom.

I am not sure anyone would call you a scammer since you haven't asked for cash here. They may callnyou a time waster if they end up not achieving anything from the supposed training. Anyway, I wish you luck in your endeavour.
7586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin november hard fork? on: September 07, 2017, 04:51:01 AM
Will bitcoin hard fork in November result in a third coin forked out from "Bitcoin"?

I guess there would really be a hard fork and the ensuing "split" resulting into the birth of another altcoin just like what we experienced with BitcoinCash (BCH). Anyway, I am not a very technical person so I could not delve on its many technical aspects as most of them are beyond my simple grasp.

What I understand is that just like the BCH in August all Bitcoin holders would also be receiving their own share of this coming new altcoin and that is where the excitement is all about as it can mean free airdrop of possible money for all of us. I understand that this new fork may not really be good for the image of Bitcoin but there is nothing we can do if that would be the decision of those people involved.

I would just be glad to receive my share of the new coin.

First off, I think this rumoured November fork will spread another FUD in the Bitcoin community and  plunge the price. Maybe, October will be the right time to buy more Bitcoin because of expected panic sell off.

To iamTom, this may not necessarily create an excitement for all the way it did for you during the August fork. There was a dude here who lost 45.8btc for attempting to claim the BCH from the Electrum wallet. In his confusion, just like many of us were, he wrongly downloaded a fake Electrum wallet from www.electrum-wallet.com and transferred the said amount of coins. And off his coins went. As at the time of the incidence those coins were worth over $150,000. I don't know if dude is still alive or he committed suicide thereafter.
7587  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Nootropics (smart drugs) free offer when using Bitcoin or Litecoin on: September 07, 2017, 04:17:33 AM
https://cognitive-nutrition.myshopify.com/collections/all

When using bitcoin or litecoin (both instant automatic processing) buy one get one free. While supplies last. Sale ends tomorrow Sept 1st 11:59 pm central time.

Questions hit me up.

No! We won't hit you up with questions. We shall do that with corrections. People, beware of this Newbie account! Newbie accounts and scam are like Eskimos and snow!

Fake in the sense that you are not using a proper website on your own domain but using a free subdomain which can be created using just a fake email Grin
If your products are genuine and you are the manufacturer or authorised retailer of the products, why don't you use your own website on your own domain and provide details about the company with physical address which can be verified?

That's the point! Nice to know someone took notice of this.
7588  Economy / Services / Re: Will People Buy This ? on: September 07, 2017, 04:04:57 AM
So the main earning comes from the $1.99 which the three referred accounts provide and is distributed in the upline Grin This is a ponzi in disguise and not only no one will pay the $1.99 but the account from where this will be posted will get red tags from default trust members.

No, not ponzi. The $1.99/user (REFUNDABLE) is being raised to fund the project. Once we get enough funds to run our business then we will refund the $1.99 to everyone who paid and with the project going onward, we will start to pay the high-$xxx/month to mid-xxxx/month to the users.

The more you try to explain the deeper you dig, exposing your intention as a scam. Yes, it doesn't smell right. Why would anyone offer you their money, no matter how little you think it is and still bring you referrals, if it isn't a Ponzi scheme? Ok, make it chewable and mildly say it's an MLM. I think this is an unworkable scam and people should not be ensnared by it.

7590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 500,000$ to invest on: September 06, 2017, 03:46:00 PM
If you have 500,000$ and you don't know on what to invest them on, take your time and research well the cryptocurrency space before investing, don't put your money just because X said so

Whatever you do, just make sure your research for investment in cryptocurrency doesn't take you to China as there is a hard knock on ICOs there and 60 of the exchanges registered there are under scrutiny now. Already done cryptos there have taken the plunge and are delisted. OP, just be careful if truly you seek advice on how to spend $500,000 on investment here. To be honest I don't think you would make strangers your financial advisors.
7591  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: September 06, 2017, 11:44:39 AM
Distracted driving (using technology while driving) is now killing more people than impaired driving.   Undecided

I see this a lot in my countey. Drivers on the phone while driving has become almost a fashionable trend in the world today. They don't just make a call, some of them ping and type away while driving. Sadly, this has frequently led to accidents and expectedly lost of lives. We can effortlessly say this is one negative affecfs of the modern technology and management of it.
7592  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you give your own list of great campaign manegers? on: September 06, 2017, 05:54:53 AM
my list and good recomendation campaign manager

1 yahoo62278
2 lutphin
3 jamal
4 irfan_pak
5 sylon
6 avirunes

I like 3 campaign managers. there name 1.Sylon 2.yahoo 3.Jamal.

OP, I really don't know what you intend to achieve with this thread but I seriously hope it doesn't cause any disaffection among the campaign managers. And for those mentioning Jamalaezaz, please reconsider your decision in picking him for he doesn't rank as a good CM. He meseed up some campaigns in the past. An example was the Onegram campaign and social media bounties. Guy messed up the whole thing for everyone and ran away to the altcoins section.
7593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin is banned? on: September 06, 2017, 05:14:57 AM
If it's banned, it stays banned. Look at what happened in China two days ago with the government hitting hard on the ICOs and that caused a sudden panic in the crypto world with already existing coins plunging. That wasn't a ban but it sure did send a strong message to us.

However, I don't think any country will place an outright ban on bitcoin. Countries can only regulate its use by way of leveraging on it for its tax. They will find a way to TAX users if it ever becomes expedient. But if by fatal stroke of luck bitcoin is banned in my country, I will relocate to a country where it's allowed.
7594  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Announcing bitdoubler.io on: September 05, 2017, 05:47:58 PM
Quontoloue,

Our web site is not the same domain. Our domain is https://www.bitdoubler.io/ (notice the r on the end).

So, you agree that yours is a phishing site then. Shouldn't that bother us? I think it should. Why pick a dormain name almost like another popular site if it isnt for a sinister engagement? Perhaps that is to hoodwink and ensnare unsuspecting public to your nest, right? Wake up dude, people are not that daft anymore.
7595  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You Should Never Sell Your Bitcoins Ever on: September 05, 2017, 09:06:55 AM
Have red today, that china is only speculating with Bitcoin. I think the regime earns money with it. And when they want they drop the Bitcoin price to 100 Dollar. So i sold my Bitcoins near 5k!!

Lol...That is the beauty of life: the lack of hindsight. And then when we know today after tomorrow has set in we tend to regret our past action. Yesterday was a real bloodbath in the crypto bathroom. A lot of money was made and a lot of loss was recorded. Anyway, I hope you later bought back back on the dip. That way you would've made another round of profit too.
7596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2017, 04:53:19 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

It is natural instinct to react to things said about one's passion, whether it is negative thing said or positive. We align with the positive and despise the negative talker. But then everybody must not align with the Bitcoin technology or accept it.

This thread implicitly also raises the questions:
1. How do you react to vegans?
2. How do you react to misogynists?
3. ...to dwarfs?
4. ....to murderers?
5. ....to gays?
6. ....to animal conservatives?
7.... to anything you don't agree with?

How do you actually deal with all these if not through tolerance? Therefore, those who despise Bitcoin should be tolerated too.
7597  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I invest (safely) in Bitcoin for the long term? on: September 05, 2017, 03:54:34 AM
no one tell you that online system are safe, but I you have perfect knowledge about online then it will be safe.becouse you know how to use your money. yes, coinbase platform is the most popular and save to invest your btc.
yes, I agree with you that there is no safe deposit of money online. in addition to hackers the absence of any internet connection can be a cause you lose your money. but currently the risk is very small.
the safest way is not to put all your money in bitcoin.

But really where has business ever been easy or rosy? Nowhere! It is not easy with any kind of business including the offline businesses. Go ask an uncle or aunt who runs an offline store or shop, you would be amazed to know the level of risk they also take. To this I would say to everyone indulge in what catches your fancy...There isn't any free lunch anywhere, not even in Freetown.
7598  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: September 04, 2017, 12:33:51 PM
Improving countries economy depends on government and people not in bitcoin. Bitcoin is just another form of currency and like other currency may it be gold, fiat or crypto, its useless in improving country economy if the government cant come up with projects to better their country.

I absolutely share in your sentiment here. A lot of people paint bitcoin larger than it is. Bitcoin this, bitcoin that, as if it were a kind of demigod. For crying out loud, bitcoin is just an asset of value like the conventional fiat or paper money. It isn't a magic wand to turn every bad situation into good. However, if the leadership of a country is good and technical it should be able to utilize this new technology which bitcoin affords for the betterment of its economy.
