761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling? on: June 17, 2018, 12:35:37 PM
It does.
After ICO, the investors starts expecting profit while bounty participants and early bonus investors can't keep up there patience and sell for whatever profit they have and the coin goes into a lower stable price.
After some workout, the project starts it's product or service than again the price gets a boost and the long holders are rewarded for their patience.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a future for Waves Platform on: June 17, 2018, 12:33:14 PM
Waves is growing in price but I don't find any interesting characteristics in this platform to displace the likes of ETH, EOS, NEM and NEO.
Waves was one of the oldest infrastructure project but had lost its shot by far.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Are masternode the future of cryptocurrency on: June 16, 2018, 04:36:18 PM
We are seeing masternodes as a good alternative to mining. Energy efficient and quicker.
Most of the successful newer coins are masternode based and very few mineable coins.
Casper, POS or whatever name they might give, ETH too seems to be moving towards a completely masternode transaction.
So, is the masternode future of cryptocurrency?
764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some ICO is not scam on: June 16, 2018, 04:24:51 PM
There are two cases that defies our understanding.
1. Scam ICO looks even better than real ICOs, great team of advisers and advertisers. Money can buy anything.
2. The label scam is very difficult to use. Real ICOs are having their coins below ICO price for years and some Scam ICOs made their initial investors rich.(of course on expense of later investors)
765  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Potential and prospects EOS on: June 16, 2018, 04:19:36 PM
EOS is fast, on transaction as well as on development and problem solving on the expanse of it's centralized network controlled by a few or a single organization.
EOS is a full package, they call themselves a decentralized operating system and are made in order to lift over the limitations of ETH.
So being a student of ETH, EOS has better prospects but again EOS is hugely depended on the EOS team.
766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coin Prices on: June 16, 2018, 03:23:19 PM
The price generally may have a difference of upto 1-2%. The price shown is the price of the last transaction which in return depends on the sell wall, order wall and the volume.
The large difference comes as a result of suspended deposit or withdrawal for the particular coin in the specific exchange.
767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2018, 06:28:33 PM
Anyway, won my bet within 23 minutes of gameplay. Cheesy
That particular bet seemed an easy one and the odds were great.
First bet on World cup success with 5.18 odds.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your tokens? on: June 15, 2018, 03:15:44 PM
The tokens first rest in my usual personal address whose private key is saved with me.
If I intend to hold the token for a long term, I transfer them to a dedicated address with private key.
If I intend to trade them, I transfer them to my exchange wallet.
I use the private keys in myetherwallet for sending purpose while I also use it in metamask for decentralized trading.
769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Infrastructure Projects are the new trend! on: June 15, 2018, 02:41:57 PM
Infrastructure projects are a slow start but a risk free high profit scheme.
Unlike services and technical startups, Infrastructural project would require some months or even years to start a profitable business.
But when they do, they have minimum operational cost and long term sustainable profit.
770  Economy / Gambling discussion / FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia Discussion Thread on: June 15, 2018, 02:11:22 PM
Didn't found a discussion thread dedicated to the World Cup, so made it.

Todays Match
Match 1: Uruguay 1 - 0 Egypt Full time
Match 2: Morocco vs Iran
Match 3: Portugal vs Spain

My only bet for today is Portugal and Spain both score in first half. Odds 5.18.
771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Starting today, Best Sports Book to bet on? on: June 15, 2018, 02:07:33 PM
I'd like to add one more. wbet7.com
They have similar odds to the popular betting site and they accept many payment options without verification. Namely Bitcoin, Eth, ETC, Bitcoincash, Litecoin, Dash, Dogecoin, monacoin, Vertcoin as well as perfect money.

I personally like betting with dogecoin as it's easier to calculate and transaction cost is lowest.

773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Central Bank of Bahrain licensed the first crypto exchange of Arab on: June 14, 2018, 08:25:42 AM
Tiny nation of Bahrain becomes the first Arab nation to give a regulatory sandbox license to the operator of Palmex, a Dubai-based (Not in Bahrain) cryptocurrency exchange. This would certainly make things favourable in Arab and other nations are likely to follow the move.

774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why all other Cryptographic and Blockchain projects should call Cryptocurrency?? on: June 14, 2018, 08:20:48 AM
You are correct. We are just in primary phase with new technologies coming out everyday, new coins being issued everyday.
As the technology matures, surely we would have distinction between them on the basis of their use and nature.
775  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: June 14, 2018, 08:18:28 AM
From the experience of last couple of years, if you mean to get profit, you should know when to buy and when to hold. Just holding for long time won't make you rich. What now be bought by 1$ can't be done by 2$ after 10 years.
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any newbie friendly investing platform? on: June 13, 2018, 04:52:31 AM
If you are expecting for a place to look and directly invest on ICO than their are many options but all are have the same problems, i.e. have limited number of tokens.
For example binance, one of the most popular exchange also has an inbuilt platform to sell ICO.
Cryptonomous in recent time has came up as the largest of them and has an easier to understand GUI.
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEX - NEO based token for decentralized exchange :o on: June 13, 2018, 04:00:00 AM
The best thing about NEX is the cross chain support. i.e. in future they'll too support BTC, ETH and the likes.
It's something difficult to achieve in decentralized exchange.
And you can't just call them a NEO based token as they are planning to have their own platform in the future.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies? on: June 13, 2018, 03:57:02 AM
It's an advertisement.
The celebrities gets paid to endorse and that does not reflect the personal involvement of them in the project.
Though you can deduct that any Cryptocurrency capable of paying celebrities to endorse are either a big project or a huge scam.
Smaller scams and smaller projects can't afford it.
779  Economy / Gambling / Re: WBet7.com - Sport bet accept ETH, ETC, BTC, BCH, DOGE, LTC, DASH, VTC, PM... on: June 13, 2018, 03:54:11 AM
Glad to see Wbet7 have similar odds to popular bitcoin gambling sites.
The only downside I noticed is it doesn't have a bet for world cup winning team or the golden boot wining player.
Otherwise the odds are good and the payment options are best in the market. I prefer betting with dogecoin and Perfect Money and I can have both in Wbet7.
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe you are not aware, but you are rich? on: June 13, 2018, 03:11:04 AM
It was supposed to do it in a better way but it doesn't shows the tokens that ethplorer did. For example Helbiz token is shown by Ethplorer.io as a valued token while the github site doesn't do it.
And it gets the Values wrong For example it's calculation of Total USD value is wrong for most of currencies relative to coinmarketcap.
