We seem to be getting mixed signals about bitcoin and China. Are they actually trying to ban it? The recent actions only affected the price temporarily it is good again
763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good News - China on: September 16, 2017, 05:30:43 PM
Ah this is great news and it has had an affect on the market probably. Bitcoin and others seems to be in the positive now.

766  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin starts to rise on: September 15, 2017, 07:37:52 PM
it is a very good sign, it shows people are willing to buy again instead of selling, it is a mark of confidence but hopefully the confidence will continue
767  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 13, 2017, 08:22:11 PM
From reading other boards on this forum it is only very recent that people were saying bitcoin was headed for 5k and beyond so I would not worry
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA!!! on: September 10, 2017, 09:09:30 PM

Will this be the end of cryptocurrency

This is like the third time I have seen this asked. Is the crypto community really this scared and cowardly? So easily shaken? Its a little embarrassing. Anything other than bright blue skies and sunshine and people start losing their minds LITERALLY asking "Is this the END!?".
I agree, I'm new around here and I even know now that China has issued a TEMPORARY ban on ico's. The amount of silly panic China threads is getting too much
769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please help me to understand what is happening right now. The value of my bitcoi on: September 09, 2017, 08:15:41 PM
I think this is normal. China have issued a -temporary- ban on ico's but some people are panicking.
770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese exchanges delisting ICOs on: September 09, 2017, 08:01:46 PM
It is temporary ban to protect from frauds more here http://www.coinfox.info/news/7582-china-to-allow-ico-after-deciding-on-licensing

Chinise are working on his regulations
this is good news, the China authorities have stated that the current ban is just temporary. Some good and not so good news on that report but mostly good
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest for long term or short term gains? on: September 08, 2017, 06:04:41 PM
I think I will do both also. Trade with some coins and -bank- the profits as I go along but overall I think I will mostly like to have bitcoin for when it is more widely available for buying everyday goods
772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swarm Fund looks really interesting on: September 08, 2017, 06:00:36 PM
As a newbie I really need to study this. The points made in this board seem to be very positive. The Forbes article states The first way: how Swarm will help small investors use digital tokens to invest in real-world assets that are largely inaccessible to them -- for example, real estate. This sounds quite good
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there somewhere cryptocurrency email? on: September 07, 2017, 08:30:44 PM
Two interesting things in this board, a block chain degree and block chain email, two great ideas
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins have potential to grow? on: September 07, 2017, 08:12:18 PM
I like the idea of a coin presenting something that different to bitcoin but I don't know those coins other than the older ones like dash, dogecoin, monero, ethereum and lightcoin
775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think all online stores have to use bitcoin as main currency? on: September 07, 2017, 08:02:12 PM
It would be great to be able to buy and sell with bitcoin on big online shops but I do not think that the price going up and down is good
776  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: September 07, 2017, 07:58:25 PM
I do not have any regrets because I just heard about bitcoin about 2 weeks ago. I do not think there should be regrets because the idea of bitcoin in 2009 was so radical and not everybody was willing to take a gamble
777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin may not be number one for long on: September 06, 2017, 08:11:32 PM
From my travels around bitcointalk to date, I don't think any other crypto can touch bitcoin it seems just way too strong even with that ICO ban news
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: September 05, 2017, 10:20:45 PM
I am confused, there are hundreds of different and potentially similar coins to choose from. How do we sort through all of them to figure out what is good and what is better
779  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: September 05, 2017, 10:02:10 PM
This discussion proves to me why bitcoin will always grow. Its because of its popularity and the belief in the users of it.
780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 08:22:54 PM
I am new to this forum and to bitcoin and I am not even worried about this latest panic in the market. I have confidence bitcoin has the strength and support to grow into the future
