RCB scored 164 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. MI is a very good team in this season, and they are in a great from now. Now they are at the top of the points table. I don't think it is difficult for them to win this match by chasing 164 runs. However, this time IPL is so unpredictable. Anything can be happen.
First I thought maybe we will see a good match by Virat and AB. But unfortunately both have not played good match today. I don't know why they sad me most of the time. This was the first time Warner was able to give SRH a good quick start in this IPL usually he was taking a lot of balls and the inclusion of Saha was a game changer and this is the first time i am seeing him play and once they posted a huge total they always have the bowling line up to restrict any team. The top two for SRH which includes Warner is always scoring the bulk of the team runs and the problem with the team is the middle order who fail to make any impact. Warner is a true pioneer of T20 and he was not in the best touch but he changed that today by giving the team a quick start and Saha played a good innings in his first match this season. Despite these big wins i doubt they would qualify because i think it is too late as the competition is high from Punjab and KKR. After getting a massive win, SunRisers Hyderabad have moved up to the 6th position in the point table. Yet it's much difficult so sorry to say SRH don't have any chance to playoff round at this stage. IPL 2020 getting more interesting now with still no one confirms their play off place, let's hope for the best. I guess today someone between MI vs RCB will be confirmed to take a spot in the playoffs, probably in top 2. All the remaining matches will be much interesting than playoffs because results of one match will impact the chamces of getting into playoffs for other teams.CSK is the only team out of the playoffs but they can beat two team out as well if they win both. |

Sunrisers Hyderabad is taking the match really close and Manish Pandey wasted many balls and then lost his wicket and they are in a bit of trouble while i thought they will be winning the match easily, they still have wickets at hand but if they loose a couple of wickets they will be in real trouble even though they just need 17 runs to win from 14 balls. The only positive for them is that the main bowlers finished their overs and they have Jordan and Arshdeep Singh to finish the rest of the overs. Edit: lost another wicket  This real time drama can cost SRH this match as just few minutes back I was feeling they are going to win this match very easily but suddenly they lost this temperment and now struggling really good fight back by KXIP 15 runs with 9 balls left and just 4 four wickets in hand what a drama happening in last part of play. What a victory by KXIP, they snatched the victory from SRH as it was supposed to be easy win for SRH and I was of same opine that they will win it . But all credit to KXIP bowlers and team for picking early wickets and then when SRH stabilised in between innings they fought back later and picked up remaining wickets and won in the end by 12 runs. Four victories in a row, KXIP would be happier and their morale will be too high in the second half of the tournament. I feel Gayle is their lucky charm. It was a tough season for them. The absence of Suresh Raina and Harbhajan Singh destroyed the team balance and they didn't had experienced replacements for these players. The performance of Sam Curran was the sole positive CSK could take away from this edition of the IPL. The management needs to have a rethink on their policy, on maintaining a squad that is mostly in the 35-40 age group. Harbhajan withdrawal didn't hurt them much as they already have fair amount of Leg/off spinners Piyush chawala, Karn Sharma, Jadeja, Imran Tahir, Mitchell Santner etc. Batting department definitely took a hit after Raina backed down from the competition. One of the many reason could be foreign venues, no one should forget that CSK is tough team to beat in their home ground back in Chepuk, Chennai, India. This is the first time in IPL history that they might not able to qualify for playoffs, minus ban fiasco. Even watto and Rayudu don't gave any match winning performance other than the single instance by each, Jadeja and Sam curran has been positive throughout the season, Faf scored runs but still no one backed him up so which made him to be under pressure all the time while he was at the crease. I just saw the post match interview and MSD clearly accepted that nothing really went on the side of CSK and he is thinking about rebuilding the team for next season with new combination so players on the bench will get their opportunity in their remaining matches as he said. |

Today all the hopes of CSK progressing further in the tournament will end. When the tournament started, i was favoring this team but they proved to be one of the weakest team of the tournament. Ms Dhoni did not gained any batting form in the tournament and this also effected on the team moral. I am of the point of view that that CSK should change their captain for the next season. I don't think there will be a change of captaincy for CSK if MSD is going to play for the next year because we all know how good he is while captaining any teams he played for, single season's bad performance is not going to change anything.I think the CSK need to change their core team in my opinion because they are playing with the same core team for years and years. Even though they got experience still they are out of an international career for too long. |
