Cointerra Dear Keenan,

We feel sorry to have disappointed you and others. It seems that either the expectations about our commercial offer were overinflated (possibly due to our own communication), or that our value offer is somewhat misunderstood.

We feel that our product offers not only a competitive price per Gh, but also has additional value because of
- low shipping cost due to compact size
- high energy efficiency leading to longer shelf life
- complete package: no additional costs, plug & play
- possibility to trade your spot in the order queue (under development)

That being said, any commercial offer made to the public will excite some and put off others. That is the way the market works, and we accept that.

Best wishes,

CoinTerra support

can't tell if serious.....or just trolling.....

Explains  why I need to pre-order something that is "in stock"  Huh

OMG. this is ridiculous. Xcrowd, back me up here. lol

Does shipping from China mean including a power supply puts the device at risk for customs delays? Avalon ran into that so started offering to ship without power supply. Perhaps I should remove the power supply from my order for this concern, and also to make it a little lighter to ship?

You would be able to use a number of standard atx psu's but it's best that you hold off it until we are able to recommend a list once we've tested them on our reference board this October.

Why your store says the units are in stock?

its saying pre-order spots are in stock. this isnt difficult.

Way... Way... WAYYYY over priced IMO.   Cry

By the time the KnC orders get fulfilled (Sept/Oct/Nov), difficulty is going through the roof, just look at the graphs to see for yourself.. even IF.. and big IF cointerra can deliver on time, IMO it's not worth it, the introduction of more and more TH make's diminishing returns and this is just overpriced right now.

It's currently 5x the power of a Jupiter at 2x the cost ~ which sounds good, but the calculations speak for themselves : http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/294c1f0fab

The price includes the power supply, and it also includes a powerful controller integrated in the solution to manage the ASICs. Note that the power consumption is a fraction of other devices out there per Gh/s.

thats one fucking expensive powersupply.

no thanks. NEXT.

Ah the store isn't working in Chrome I think because of a mix of secure and non-secure page content. It worked in MSIE if I hit the "show all" after the warning about insecure page content.

yup thats exactly what i did.

what did you order?

The refund policy, use of escrow, and price drop if diff too high by ship date talked me into an Elysium. Small by most buyers standards it seems, but I just can't bring myself to lay out more than that for bitcoin hardware. Even if xCrowd delivers on time and everything is perfect, BTC/USB could hit $10 by the time I get one. Ug. Lets not think about that. Wink

yeah i picked up two elysiums and 3 of the small units. i forget what they are called.

when do we pay? i havent got the email yet.

hmm just noticed this on the KNC site. is it new or am i just late to the party. lol

You have a great start. Not talking about people like you.

I have sold usb asicminers and I repeatedly get questions like, ok I put the usb disk in, but no drive is in my computer help

Just saying, it's better for us. But the people that aren't spending the time learning the command line and cgminer, we are going to end up having to walk them through sshing in the device at some point.

This is me.  I know how to point cgminer at a pool and that's about all I can do.  But monitoring remotely I have never done thru command prompt.  Teamviewer in Windows has made me soft.

those people should wait until Apple starts making bitcoin miners then.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 19, 2013, 07:10:10 PM
why?! just ignore them, they can google it!
779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: August 19, 2013, 06:56:25 PM
Yeah but these same people have no clue how to setup cgminer manually.

Oh well, I'm just glad a lot of devices will go down and not mine.

Again, people depending on a web interface Huh good luck upgrading cgminer, etc

....it has a usb port too...

why do i care about those people?! better for me if they cant figure out cgminer.....non issues
