Appreciate the project. But if EthHF holders can use their coins on the Eth Classic chain, won't it be likely that they'll just dump it to 0 ?
We'll start at 0 but price now looks to be 33˘, this isn't a pump and dump, we're here long term

where could i buy some ?
no worries... im sure the hacker has a few million to dump Preferable solution is for white hats to keep them locked up or hacker to donate them, but refunds are not supported on this chain

Every time I read this (bolded) I can't help but laugh! After a torrid few weeks arguing about what to do, while the DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) became ever more corrupted due to repeated attempts to recover the money without fixing the code problem that made it impossible to prevent the money being stolen again, the Ethereum community has finally bowed to the inevitable. The DAO code has been rolled back to a point prior to the original attack – a “hard fork”. Ethereum has had its first bailout. Frances Coppola and Elaine Ou both wrote splendidly well-argued, devastatingly condemnatory articles about the outcome of the DAO/ETH fiasco. It's now perfectly clear the hard fork isn't being done for any reason beyond a troubled asset relief program. Good luck with that TARP-fork. You're going to need it.

Ethf is a dead man walking
what exactly does that mean? There will be a massive dump, do you realize how big the supply is? Add in inflation? Plus pos?

You can rent Dagger-Hashimoto rigs and point them to one of the "classic" pools.
Yeah, www.nicehash.com has nice rigs as well. How many ethc can I get with 1 btc Let's try mathing a bit... 1 BTC buys about 7 GH/s for a day. Total network hashrate is 31 GH/s so you would have about 23% of the network. I think the total number of coins mined per day is 25k-ish, so you should be able to mine 25,000*0.23 = about 5,000 to 6,000 ETHC for 1 BTC. I may have messed it up completely though so don't go spending your retirement savings without verifying the numbers yourself. Thanks that's above my $20 floor Then again the market seems to be selling at 2000/1btc Ethc at 33˘ is better than paycoin and just getting started!

Homero burned all his money and I'm sure those close to him stole some since Homero admitted to not even being able to use a paycoin wallet, I hope stu will buy his wife a trailer to live in while Homero is in prison
Allen Shinners, former wannabe GAWMiners employee, then outspoken critic, then business partner with the Usual Suspects & now leader of the GAWsuit, believes that Homero stashed millions offshore in fiat. He has good reason to believe this & to spend so many hours working on this, and he clearly had access to inside info. Getting a monetary judgement in his favor, however, and then getting his hands on said funds, moreover, are completely separate & difficult unrealistic expectations, IMO. I'd love to know what he knows..... I highly highly doubt it. I do believe Homero Googled store money offshore but there's no way he did it successfully. The farthest he went would be to give it to a fake banker/Nigerian. Remember Homero is retarded. But we'll see.

Where to download the wallet? Is there a wallet somewhere that's easy to set up? I don't want anything messy with lots of hacking and clicking through options. Anything ready out of the box?
This is how I got a wallet. Not mist but https://github.com/ethereum/mist/releaseshttps://github.com/ethereum/mist/releases/download/0.8.1/Ethereum-Wallet-win64-0-8-1.zipYou can't have the updated blockchain though. So if you already had this software you need to rename Mist and Ethereum in appdata to start fresh and choose no fork. I don't know how they're different. Ethereum sucks compared to btc. I can't even see my transactions wtf? You don't even need to trust us since we're using eth code. Ethf had to get new code not ethc.

That's what a pump and dump looks like

How exactly is ethf going to beat bitcoin? It almost lost $150 million in seconds, being pumped and dumped, hyper inflation, not immutable, premined, and massive supplies. And they want pos so the owners can syphon more value out. All they're missing is a lock up period like paycoin and onecoin so the owners can dump, oh wait they had the doa which burned to the ground All the dao are scams which will go bankrupt, they had a roulette game which can be forked out by the govt by holding vitalik in contempt until he forks again since he has no excuses now They're already ready for doa round 2, they might be dumber than paycoiners https://reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4twcix/crowdfunding_for_slockit/

Yes if someone can contact bittrex

So, how you guys see this going? I personally think it'll go down until we get closer to the devcon date. As now Coinbase addition is behind us and DAO holders will be cashing out their eth refunds. Correct me if I am missing something. Also, what is the latest on the classic? Any major exchange planning to add it?
In terms of ETHC (Ethereum Classic) vs ETHF (Ethereum Fork), it will be a matter of time to see which one will prevail. Either way, I don't think ETHF will be done for so easilly, not even if DAO holders would massively cash out. Actually, anything can happen.. Time will tell! Does ETHC have a chance? There are more miners and pools supporting ETHF right? The ones supporting classic will have to switch because what's the use? How can they make profit by supporting what is considered a dead chain by the Ethereum founders themselves? If the miners and pools supporting ETHC cannot cash in their coins then they will give up before the end of the year. We have a strong community https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1559630.0
