With the quality and experience that Firmino has, it will not be difficult for him to find interested clubs. in fact, clubs interested in signing him had to fight with other clubs who also wanted his services. and as we all know, that his contract with The Red will expire in the summer of 2023.

IMO, this is the best way for him to have a career with his new club. because as we know, Firmino is less competitive than Nunez, who has always been the main starter. although he often sits on the bench, his contribution with The Red is often the determinant of a victory.
but now he will leave after the end of his contract, and several Serie A clubs want the services of Roberto Firmino. AC Milan is the club that is most serious about bringing in new strikers at low cost and Formino is included in that criteria. I hope that whichever club Firmino will go to later he can adapt well.

Yeah there will be lot of clubs after Firmino. He is an experienced striker who can score lot of goals. Well the news just broke down so there will be lot of talks going inside the top clubs but it's gonna take time. What a time he has had at Liverpool helping them in numerous occasions when they needed someone to score and he delivered. I will say one of the players who has  been crucial behind the success of Liverpool. AC Milan already has two strikers so I don't think that they will be going after unless some crazy happens at the end of the season. I would say there will be interests for sure but it all depends on how desperately the clubs need a striker and what type of striker by the end of the season. Possible that some clubs might try to get a verbal agreement earlier than the start of the window as well but that very much depends upon the situation like I earlier said.

Really a big comeback by Arsenal . They made the biggest comeback of the season and this win might give them a huge boost in the next games. Var few times watched to see if it was gonna give a penalty but that didnt happen but they were able to score without it. City still cannot get close to Arsenal

Yeah really unbelievable and what makes it more sweet was that it was last play of the game. That's the mentality that a winning team needs - believing till the last second and such a sweet win it was. Bournemouth made it so hard till the end with Neto saves and not giving much room but eventually we did win. Back with 5 points gaps with 12 gameweeks more to go... So City still has chance but not if Arsenal keeps on winning games liek this.

Everton never won a match in January, apart from the home win against Arsenal on February 4th which Arsenal fans were disappointed in the previous match, but were glad the last match (last night) was in favor of Arsenal, as they also took back the win, and it was a flawless performance by the players as they played with full confidence at home. In previous matches, Everton have always lost with either no goal or just one goal. I just hope they improve and get better players. I also hope they manage to win against Notts Forest on Sunday, which I think will still be a difficult game for Everton.

In the game commentator mentioned that this would be Arsenal 100th win against Everton in English football history if they win and they did registered their 100th win. Their next game against Forest is gonna be a tough one for them. Forest have a great goalkeeper and scoring goal past him isn't easy. Also they have been attacking well recently as well. I think it's gonna be a goalless or probably Forest win. I am bit inclined towards Forest win though.

Everton is doing poorly, they still have a chance to stay in the Premier League but their fixtures look very tough. Except for the last few games, they will always play against good teams.
If Bournemouth and Southampton win their games, Everton will find themselves in last place and this will put more pressure on them. Actually, their squad isn't too bad, but it didn't work with Lampard. They had some hope when they got two wins with Sean Dyche, but they were defeated three times. Their biggest problem is that they don't have a good striker. If the forwards could score, they wouldn't be in this situation.

Everton have been in a bad shape but I feel that is because they have lost some crucial players in last few transfer windows. Last night they were very strong initially but Arsenal were also loose in the beginning with the passes and all. But once we got the first goal it kinda broke apart for them and we got a dominating performance in last night's fixture. It was a great game and I would say it was pretty tough for Everton as well. Even after having a huge confidence from last few wins it still wasn't just that easy against Arsenal.

There is no point for Barcelona actually to sign another striker, while they already have Lewandowski, Raphinha and Ferran in the squad. Even if in the end Barcelona able to sign him next season, his fate could be like Braithwaite, Depay, De Jong, Aubameyang, Malcom, and many other names that I have no idea why Barcelona tried to sign them lol. Marcus could try to join the team his dad also played for before Barca, Juventus, which it's proven that Juventus could be a good place for young players too.

Yeah you are right, life at Barca is very insecure at the moment as there is no guarantee that you will play or not or become crucial player for the team. I never knew about Juventus but yeah Juventus can use a striker but I feel it will be same there as well. They already have Vlahovic and Milik so not sure if they will be interested unless they sell one striker which is important for Thuram's development as a good player otherwise it will be same.

Well Everton defeated Arsenal last time they played at home a month ago so I would say Everton shouldn't be underestimated. Also right now Arsenal aren't able to find the net as much as they used to before WC so that's a big worrying sign and so Everton might have a slight chance today. Without Jesus, Arsenal's scoring rate has dropped but still making great plays. Hopefully today we will take those advantage, find more goals than Everton do and will win the game with dominating performance.
Saka is expected to find himself in the match against Everton. He should make the difference for Arsenal with his goals, while Gabriel Martinelli is also expected to do the same. Arsenal had to win, but they just had to avoid the mistakes that allowed Everton's players to create chances. I believe Arsenal win today but there should be a chance of an Everton win even if it's only very low.

Without striker they are the one who take the spring duties but in last couple of rounds they have been struggling also. Today if Arsenal have to win then both wingers need to find net in one of their shots. Nketiah also needs to find the net as he is the one taking the Jesus spot in his absence. Let's see how Arsenal handle this today.

Villareal is really just getting lucky at this point if you ask me, and I can't believe that such team would be doing this badly. I mean we have seen this team try to fight their way into UCL just recently, not too long ago, and this season and now they are 7th in the league for some reason, you would expect them to at least fight for UCL spot this season wouldn't you?

Sure they finally got a win, but that doesn't change the fact that they have been losing for a long time now, that losing streak really disrupted their whole season and they really need to get a winning streak starting in order to get back to where they were in order to be happier.

I think they don't have a proper goalscorer right now. Moreno is their star forward and Danjuma also was a player who was scoring lot of goals for them last season. Moreno got injured in middle and Danjuma wasn't handed much chance and now eventually moved to Spurs on loan. Emery also left Villareal for Aston Villa  under whom they had lot of success last season and its is hard without him. It is hard to adjust under new direction temporarily but I think they will eventually be back on track after a while. They might take 5 or 6th position but 1-4th positions are hard to take as things stand right now in my opinion.

Arsenal vs Everton match between these two teams is going to start tomorrow in Premier League. Everyone is thinking that Arsenal will win in this match because Arsenal is now in the 1st position in the points table. But if the players of Everton team can do something in the match by showing a great game then maybe it will be a draw.  But I don't think Everton will ever win. Everton team depends on how their players play. But Arsenal team has very good quality players.

Tomorrow? Are you far behind in other regions of the world? Apologies for the question, but I'm shocked because Arsenal's match versus Everton is scheduled to begin at 7:45 PM UTC today. Looking at your analysis and predictions, I don't see that happening because I believe Arsenal would strongly protect Emirate to undo the damage done in their first leg, and looking at the historical matches between the two teams, Arsenal always has a defeat history against Everton, and Everton is lagging behind in the standings, and Arsenal has a chance to win the home match.

Apart from that, his father, Lilian Thuram, also said that he wanted his son to join Barcelona in the summer transfer even though the Blaugrana are experiencing financial problems. so it will be interesting for us to wait, which club will be the place for Marcus Thuram to continue his career.

Yeah his father played for Barcelona and also mentioned that it would be a dream come true for him if Thuram plays for Barcelona. So its likely that he will move to Barcelona and other clubs won't have a chance until they are in race. But if Barca are out of race and have other players to go after before Thuram then I think other clubs might have a chance to go after him.

Zidane at this moment is the best option for chelsea, because I don't see much difference between pochetino and Potter, aside the fact that he took ligue one..But for Zidane players will respect him for what he has achieved as a player and as a coach.,and ofcourse he plays a good style of football too.

Its getting tough for Potter to hang around with the way Chelsea are giving result. Zidane is a good choice but I think Chelsea are gonna give Potter some more chances before they seriously start thinking about sacking Potter and getting a new manager. It was a tough game today but maybe pressure from fans change things around now. There is serious amount of discontent building amongst Chelsea fans and that might change the way board is thinking of Potter right now.

As for Zidane he will be a great manager but is Zidane up for PL challenge? Last I heard was that he is on a break but that has been a while now. I would love to see him in PL though and he certainly would do better at Chelsea. Right transfers and building the squad is what they need right now and Zidane is good at that.

I don’t see it as Felix playing individually because due to lack of any creative midfielder he has to find a way to dazzle his way into the boss. Chelsea should seriously look at how they lack creativity and work on it. The attackers are just playing different football with coordination it might be because of numerous changes Potter always makes in his starting line up. The new guys haven’t played more minutes together to understand themselves well. Things are just going bad for Chelsea this win brings them closer to the relegation zone than the top 4 or 6. Silva injury today just sums up how messed up their season has been.

But nonetheless Big three points for Tottenham, both Manchester United and Newcastle are out of league duties this weekend and they just close up the gaps. They have performed perfectly well in the absence of their manager and should they keep on going this way then it might be hard for Newcastle to get back into the top 4

In terms of creativity I think they are slowly getting into it. I think Chelsea have enough quality to find better space and initiate better attacks. They will get to it eventually is what I feel. Potter must be having lot in his head with his options so its not just easy for him as well. Their defense has been a sign to worry and they really need to fix that as soon as possible. Great game for Spurs though with the way handled Chelsea 's attack and they totally deserved it.  They now stand fourth on the table but Newcastle have the chance to overtake them with two games in hand compared to Spurs. I think Newcastle are on the better end than Spurs right now. We can't just underestimate Newcastle with the way they have played the season so far.

Arsenal position in the standings, in my opinion, is increasingly insecure because they did not get maximum results in the match against Leicester City. Just 1 point is not enough when looking at the last match Man City won an extraordinary victory. With an increasingly narrow margin, it will clearly be a loss for Arteta. The performance of the players may be ideal but it's not really the same as when they started the season.
Today there is the Tottenham vs Chelsea match, and once again I will not expect much for a Chelsea game. For Tottenham itself, I see it much more positively because they are in good form compared to Chelsea who is monotonous even though they have added new players.

1 point? They won the match last night and got maximum 3 points out of it. As things stand, they are 2 points clear off City who is behind on #2 and Arsenal also has a game in hand. Leicester were good last night and we also had some good chances but at the end we won and that's what matters.

For Chelsea, I will say there are lot of players so it makes hard for Potter to manage his players. Yes he has options but he has too many options to narrow it down to one's he need in lineup. I would say give him sometime to figure out. Things will slowly start to settle down soon.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 25, 2023, 08:43:29 PM
So far during this season, Sean Dyche and his team have failed. As we saw in the last few seasons, Everton was never able to race at the top of the table, but they were often among the middle teams, but this season they are not performing well at all. After the loss to Aston Villa, they are very close to the danger zone in the table with 21 points. They are also the same as Bournemouth in terms of points.

I would say give Sean Dyche time. He might change their form a bit but Everton isn't strong to begin with. They have lost lot of crucial players like Gordon, Richarlison and I think there will be more departures in next window. They need to smartly target players and build a good squad if they want to perform better. There is still time to improve and get themselves out of the relegation zone.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 25, 2023, 07:22:00 PM
Diego Simeone's defensive and physical struggle-based football mentality is very bad for Joao Felix. I think he failed to show his skills at Atlético Madrid. I'm sure he will play better football at Chelsea. I'm sure he doesn't want to return to Atlético Madrid. If Chelsea want to sign him, he'll definitely prefer to stay there. Also, there were reports that Diego Simeone would not be at Atletico Madrid next season. If Diego Simeone leaves, I think there will be no problem for him to return to Atletico Madrid. I don't think there was a suitable environment for him at Atlético Madrid.

Well kinda hit on the mark but I think Joao Felix is still crucial for Atletico. Its just the coach always tend to make changes as suitable inside the game and player has to accept it instead of throwing a tantrum. Do you think Chelsea are gonna give him full 90 mins every game? Eventually situation will boil between player and the manager if he isn't playing enough. So I think nowadays no manager guarantees full 90 mins, he eventually makes the change or doesn't beings him to lineup if he thinks he isn't effective enough or will not be effective enough against certain opponent. There are lot of factors involved for selection and player has to accept it because its not doing them much good most of the times. So I feel player has to have some kind of humility in them.

About Diego Simeone, you do know that he is the longest LaLiga club manager so Atletico board has huge trust in him. He has won them lot of titles in his tenure so I think he is very much solid. Its Felix who has to leave or accept whatever Simeone thinks of him.

This will probobly be an easy win for Man City. They got an easy game at their hands and i think they will close it really soon. 1-0 up and if they score one more its just a one way street for Bournemouth. City needs a win here after Arsenal won against Leicester.

IIRC I think its a dominating win after a long time for City. I mean one with around more than 3-4 goal cushion. This should surely seal the 3 points for the visitors and they are doing it without De Bruyne so that's a good news. Bournemouth hardly had chance to surprise City today so we have to wait for a good fixture where City could be really tested. Newcastle is their next opponent which should be a good one given they are currently having the best defensive record but should be without their in-form keeper Pope. Rest good fixtures are a month away so Newcastle is the only one around.
777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 25, 2023, 04:51:24 PM
Leicester city just got their first shot on target and in the 71st minute. While they haven’t been playing so good, they haven’t been playing so bad either. Arsenal is just the better team in this game.
In this second half of the game, Arsenal is seemingly under more pressure from Leicester city as Leicester City is having more and more of the ball and it’s only a matter of time now till they score and equalize as there’s still a chance for them to get back into the game.

There has been a change in tactics from Rodgers after they conceded and Leicester are charging a lot and putting lot of pressure on Arsenal's defence whenever they get the ball after the first goal. They've had some chances but haven't been able to make some threatening moves yet so far. Arsenal defence and defensive midfielders are very much aware about Leicester players. With a goal advantage yeah there is still chance and hope they Arsenal are able to keep the score till the end or maybe get another goal and seal the 3 points.
778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 24, 2023, 06:51:26 PM
Union Berlin are also in the title race technically maybe. But I don't think they will last until the final moments of the season. They don't seem to be like a very consistent team this season. They made a really solid start indeed and led the standings for some time as well. But some weeks later they started a pretty bad form and this caused them to lose a couple of positions. Now they have climbed back and joined the race again. But I don't see any reason for them not to have the same things again.

Union Berlin don't have a squad full of talented players now. This makes things harder for them as for consistency. I think Dortmund and Bayern Munich will be only teams left in the title race later on.

Dortmund and Bayern also haven't been in their usual self also. They have also lost/drew quite some easy matches in between. Berlin have been performing great this season. I think Berlin has a chance but Bayern always tend to make things regular by the end. With season slowly nearing to its end, tomorrow game against Bayern is very crucial for both the teams.

Berlin has a normal squad without any notable players but they have been playing a great team game and which is why they have managed to stand alongside Dortmund and Bayern on the table. Berlin might drift apart a bit but if they can maintain the consistency then we will certainly be watching a good competition for the title near the end.
779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 24, 2023, 06:23:07 PM
Tottenham have not looked great this season and Chelsea has not too. I think it could be a closer game then you suggest and I think it might end up in a draw. I think the safest prediction would be both teams to score because both teams are not good at keeping clean sheets and a draw. A 1-1 or 2-2. Chelsea will probably play defensively and Tottenham will have the most possession as they are the strongest team on paper this season.

I would say betting on under 2.5 goals is gonna be a good one to bet on. About clean sheets I am not so much sure as both teams are having horrible attacking performance. It will be a defensive one on top of that so likely is that this match is gonna feature 1-2 or goals in my opinion. On paper, Spurs might have performed well but recently they have been performing poorly. Chelsea might also surprise in this fixture so I feel both are even going into this fixture.

I
Having previously terminated his contract with Olympiakos and was rumored to be joining Al-Nassr, now the latest news says that Marcelo has reached an agreement to join his boyhood club Fluminense. I think it's great to be back at the club he's loved since the beginning of his football career and it looks like he'll be retiring at Fluminense in the future.
I was not feeling surprised to see that. It seems like if marcelo feels unhappy in its old club. He is now choosing to join with his favorite club that makes him feel happy. The prediction about there was a club that already offered him was true.
I hope that marcelo will be feeling happy with his decision to move to the fluminese. At least marcelo was following what his heart.

With lack of chances, it was about to happen. Glad that both the club and the player quickly agreed on the contract termination and player went on to join his old club Fulminese FC from where it all begin. Romano reported Nassr rumors not close just like I thought so that was widely off the mark. Fulminese develops lot of Brazilian talents so it will be great for them to have experienced and one of the best left-back guide the young talents out there in the club.
