Hi!

Why are you still advertising for the scam site fairproof?

No need to look further than the front page. Does the betting patterns look like anything you have ever seen?

3 bets per minute from different players every minute of every hour with zero martin gale and/or other patterns gamblers use on their sites?

The big wins? Ever seen a site with that big wins so often? Not even just-dice, the biggest bitcoin gambling site ever had that much big winners with that frequency. And also, those bets dont show up among the rest of the best.

In their own thread you will see time and again people who don't have their winnings paid out.

We will contact Fairproof and investigate issues you described. Thanks for notifying!

We've removed invalid shares and penalties which appeared after DSH update. The same is true for DSH-paired coins – e.g. FCN and MCN.

Also we've added additional 50% of shares for this period to every DSH miner as a small gift cause by this situation.

Kindly fix my DSH account asap - Unconfirmed:-840,670.78086251

Please refresh your page – it should be a glitch with browser cache on your side. We've refunded all DSH shares back on last week.

Hi,
I see the mining software does not generate valid shares for Dashcoin on Minergate's pool since the update took place today (block 91452). I tried it and it does not generate bad shares, but also do not generate valid shares also and my balance is becoming negative.
I also tried it on alternative pool (my test pool) through the "Other pools" section and it generates valid shares.

slb, thanks for feedback!
We've fixed DSH and updated it to the actual version. Now everything should be just fine.

Is it possible the invalid shares mined in this timeframe to be removed? I think this is an issue for a lot of people mining DSH. I was getting -167,000DSH for a just couple of minutes

Have not been able to withdrawal MCN all day.

Been two days and still withdrawals are not working.

MCN withdrawal works fine for me – there were no complains recently. Have you tried to withdraw MCN today?

774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DSH] Dashcoin - (true anonymity (Cryptonote), multi-signature transactions, automated source co on: October 20, 2014, 12:54:54 PM

I have some finding about the recent transaction problem. I knew what was the problem when I fixed my test pool - transactions with size bigger than 10,000 bytes were hardly accepted in the blockchain. I took my investigation further and here are my finding:

1. Minergate uses old or modified code:

First of all, I use the latest version of dashcoind from 16 Sep on my pool. Here is the --version output:

Code:
> dashcoind --version
2014-Oct-20 10:18:48.631403 Starting...
2014-Oct-20 10:18:48.633060 dashcoin v1.0.2.358()
dashcoin v1.0.2.358()

Quote
2. Minergate started to use this code on 2014/10/06 10:28:17
I looked at the blockchain for odd blocks and they started to appear here:
http://chainradar.com/dsh/blocks/2241/30

Secondly the statement that MinerGate has moved to modified daemon code on 10/06/2014 is totally incorrect. CRYPTONOTE_BLOCK_GRANTED_FULL_REWARD_ZONE represents a base median value of block total transactions size and can be shifted forward. As you can see the current median of 63d91c6d5f7f9eab1cc2ad3f3be0435fba2427694ba4579e1cdb6077e8e47110 'malicious' block equals 23,142 bytes, which means it can contain up to 23 Kb of transactions. Real block size depends on the daemon's tx pool state - the mining pool have nothing to include into the block if it is empty. So, since this isn't correct, the remaining statements are incorrect also.

Lastly - for whose benefit? Please answer what my pool will gain from this potential modification?

Hello, can Minergate please fix their DSH Dashcoin issues and provide an explanation? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=678232.msg9252417#msg9252417

Instead of blaming the honest mining pool you should better ask the network maintainers to check the Dashcoin code.

I can't find the web widget for dashcoin mining  Cry

Currently MinerGate supports web-mining for Bytecoin, Monero, FantomCoin, QuazarCoin, DarkNote and MonetaVerde.
We will add DashCoin in near future.

Has minergate been patched to fix this exploit monero.crypto-pool.fr pool found?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=658990.msg8430340#msg8430340

Also are their plans to set up static diff ports like other pools do.  I really like to set up a specific difficulty for my rigs.

Hi!

Thanks for your question. We would like to stress out that MinerGate is built by our team without any use of opensource cryptonote-universal-pool, which is used on majority of other mining pools. MinerGate supports smart penalties for invalid shares – https://minergate.com/faq/invalid-shares-policy. With this policy MinerGate makes unprofitable all actions by dishonest miners.

In short, you can relax and rely on MinerGate!

Same thing is happening to a lot of people in this thread and it's what we were commenting on. This deals with crappy pay outs and bad shares as well.

Could you please share with me  more details on pay outs problems?
It seems like you are the first reporting on pay outs and I will watch this situation more precisely.

Still getting 'cannot convert blob data' with claymore miner, missing 5%-25% of my hashrate, using Claymore miner. Other pools work fine. Duckcoin seems to be suffering from this now too even though it wasn't before (although much less extensively them XMR). I can only surmise this is because of merged mining as other pools don't do merged mining. Please consider disabling it. The payouts for merged mining aren't worth 20% of my hashrate.

bensam123, I'm looking at your problem. I'm sure that the problem lays not in merge mining for sure.
